Walking the hallways of her agency awkwardly, her friends could not help but ask out of concern, "I'm fine." came her polite reply.
"Are you sure? You look like in pain?" Her colleagues insisted.
"It's really okay... a bit uncomfortable but I'm fine." And they watched her struggled to walk. Kyoko made a quick escape and strided to where her agency boss' office is.
For the whole day, the poor actress walked funnily and whenever someone ask her out of worry she would politely shake her head and tell she is fine. Until her best friend pulled her back in her trailer, "Alright Kyoko... what is going on? Did that gaijin did this?!" Her best friend was fuming distressed since Kyoko had been struggling.
Poor Kyoko was blushing all over, "Kuon did not really mean it." She pouted, "Yes, it burns when it bushes but its not his fault!" Embarrassed at what she said.
"Mo! What? Can you be clear?" Kanae complained.
"You see... I got some burns because of his beard and he likes to go down there!" Kyoko was about to cry from embarrassment.
"Then have the gaijin shave it off!"
"That's the thing! I don't want to! I... I like it..." Kanae just stared at her friend blankly, both confused and baffled. Speechless at the information that her sweet, conservative and shy best friend likes it rough.
"Did you try to look for remedies?" Kanae coughed trying to suppress her amusement.
"I did! Look!" Kyoko showed her phone and Kanae can literally read the suggested history from her search bar.
"Beard burns and how to treat them..." One caught her attention, blinking multiple times before looking at Kyoko and back to the phone screen. "Did you try any Shea butter and aloe?"
"I used some aloe today but it only helped a bit." The poor actress was so ashamed she wanted to be swallowed whole by the earth.
"Try applying some later and tell your gaijin to minimize the beard activities, people are speculating that you are being abused." She sighed, "Little do they know you were just enjoying some rough treats." Kanae kept that statement to herself amused her friend is quite the naughty one.
"He's already doing that, and we've been moisturizing his beard too, plus he helps me treat the burns." Kyoko sighed.
"That's good, but make sure to moisturize the hell out of his beard more and rub some Shea butter on your sore spot too! Though... I know someone will comment about your awkward walking today." Kanae snickered.
"I know... and I'll handle that if they really did." Kyoko sighed.
"This is your last appointment today, right?" Kanae asked.
"Uh-huh... Kuon threatened Takarada-san about my hectic schedule and what happened the last time." Kyoko is secretly relieved and pleased that she doesn't have to go home late at nights or worse the wee hours of morning disturbing her fiancé.
While they talked some more, her phone started ringing, "It's Kuon!" Kyoko in glee held up her phone.
Once Kyoko was done, "Is he going to fetch you?" Kanae inquired and her best friend nodded, "Just go easy with your endeavors." Kanae kept on teasing.
"Mo!" Kyoko pouted.
"I am aware you're a huge fan of 'fairy tales' and Prince Charmings but I wasn't expecting you prefer them to be rough and rogue type." Kanae still picking on her friend.
"Mo! Now you're being mean!" Kyoko complained.
"Oh... Hush! There is a reason best friends exist. Can't wait to tell Chiori-chan about this." Kanae grinned at Kyoko who playfully sniffled.
"Hey..." Kuon came in with a gentle smile over his beard and gave Kyoko sweet smacking kiss on her neck, cheek and lips.
"Hi to you too." Kyoko sniffled pouting aware that her best friend is snickering and ready to tease her some more.
"Kotonami-san." Kuon gave a court nod to her, "Babe, what happened?" Kuon all worried that his fiancée is hurt anywhere.
"Chill, big boy... before you salvage everyone on set, Kyoko is fine. Just buy her all the aloe and Shea butter in Japan fist." Kanae continued to tease her friend.
"Does it still sting that bad, baby?" Kuon feeling guilty aware he over did it.
"It's not that bad, its just moko-san is being mean." Kyoko pouted again playfully glaring at her BFF.
"Its a best friend thing, honey." Kuon kissed her forehead soothing her and the same time staying on her best friend's good side.
"See! Even gaijin-san gets it! And that's what I told her." Kanae chuckled.
"Best friends are the type to never letting it go." Kuon sighed since he too was the subject of teasing from his office after he contemplated on shaving his beard.
Since Kyoko's scenes were all finished and the director did not call for her to redo some parts, she was done for the day and free to go. Some female staff were having sparkly eyes glancing at her man.
Indeed Kyoko being named as "Eternal Butterfly" lives up to be the top actress and female icon, and many of her fans and followers were stunned when she revealed her type in a man. She can have a model or another actor however she settled with a rough looking man in cargos and shirts. Despite being rough looking, he was quite the handsome piece of beef cakes, and with Kyoko's awkward walk and limping it goes to show how much she enjoys her bed time and intimate treats.
As Kanae predicted some paparazzi as well as some tabloids released news about Kyoko being hurt, however to her relief they did not blame Kuon.
Instead it got worse when her best friend Chiori who; is a known social media figure made a single post which caused an uproar to her and her friends' gossiping fans.
"Beard burns, and how to treat them." she wrote as a jest and women who are married or dating men with facial hair immediately get what she meant and started to make comments letting the rest of the fandom aware what was going on with their favorite celebrity, and the comment section blew up within an hour and Kyoko's fans are having a field day after learning more aboit their celebrity idol/crush.
Things got worse when Kanae joined and uploaded Kuon and Kyoko's sweet picture and edited a caption over his beard "Guilty."
Poor Kyoko was just done and she called in to her boss and manager that she'll be cashing in her day-off voucher.
