A/N: Heya, close friends! It has been days, since now I am writing a fanfic! Please note that it is a request for my friend QMDisneyPokemon14. This also MAY be a somewhat sequel to the film and even a prequel to my somewhat old story A Day in the City of Bugdom. Also during my spring break, I checked my emails if there is school tomorrow, but it looks like there is not tomorrow! It is until Tuesday I have to get back to high school and continue my sophomore year. As always, favs and follows are accepted. Be sure to R&R! Thanks and I hope you like it. ^_^

It was a very early but beautiful morning in Ant Island. The sun shone over the horizon as the flowers bloomed and the ones from the tree did the same. In other words, spring continues during the whole season.

The ants were in their dens in the anthill, asleep.

On the other hand, Princess Dot was asleep with her pet aphid named Aphie, who snuggled beside her in his sleep. Moments went by, Dot wakes up while yawning and stretches her arms. She smiles and pets Aphie to wake him up. Aphie opened his eyes, and barked while licking Dot's face.

"Oh, Aphie! Stop it!" Dot giggled,

"We gotta wake my sister and brother-in-law. We're gonna see the circus bugs!"

Aphie barks excitedly in agreement and follows Dot into the queen's chamber. Once they got here, Flik and Atta were sound asleep.

In other words due to the fact, Flik was not king just yet until marriage for next week, but chosen as mate by Atta before she was crowned as queen and Dot was crowned as princess and even when their mother passed away at the beginning of this week

Dot smiled with a sneer, and crawled over to Flik and Atta's bed, and climbed on it, since she was small and indeed 8 years old due to the fact. She motioned Aphie, who nodded and crawled over. He sniffed while going between Flik and Atta's sleeping forms. He smiled and licked Atta first. Atta giggled in her sleep, but surely opened her eyes.

"Ah, good morning, Aphie!" she whispered kindly.

Aphie barked happily and licked his owner's face. On the other hand, Flik tiredly moaned and woke up groggily, too. He smiled at Atta and Dot, including Aphie.

"Good morning!" Flik says.

"Can we see the circus bugs today! They should be here now!" Dot asks excitedly.

Flik and Atta looked at each other, and back at Dot.

"Oh, Dot, I'm sorry, but they can't come today," Atta said sadly.

"What?" Dit questioned with sadness.

Aphie growled at Atta, but Flik reassured him as he chimed in,

"But we can go to Bugdom together and see them at least, because they may have been sleeping for long during this morning, Dot."

"Oh, okay!" Dot understood with a smile.

Atta chuckled with a sigh, and Aphie barked happily in agreement.

After letting the colony know before going, Flik, Atta, and Dot were on their way in Bugdom.

Once they landed down, the three looked for the circus tent to see if they are here, but once they went inside, no one was there. Flik, Atta, and Dot heard a faint sound coming from the inside anywhere in the tent.

Once the three went inside, they saw P.T. asleep on his desk in the office, not making any sounds. The three ants shrugged and walked out of the circus tent, but stopped while looking at the circus poster hung on the wagon. A voice said,

"Hey, freaks!"

The ants turned, and felt panic. It was the flies! Dot screamed in fear while jumping in Flik's embrace.

"Are you—" Flik stuttered.

"Yes, we are the fly brothers!" one fly said with their big pal named Thud, who stared grumpily,

"Just wondering if you have seen a ladybug like THIS?!"

The other fly held a poster with a picture of a ladybug, whose name suddenly goes by Francis!

"Miss Francis!" Dot cried.

"Atta, quick! Do something!" Flik panicked.

"Shield your eyes!" Atta said bravely and stood up to the flies.

The flies stared, snickered and burst out laughing at Atta, saying,

"Oh, look at her! That queen is telling us what to do! Thud?"

Thud nodded, snarled and walked close to the ants.

"It's not working!" Atta gasped.

"Oh, you lady, you're the queen! Use your warrior skills!" Flik urged and held Atta's arms, as if to punch the flies, who got close, out of sight.

"Flik, what are you doing?!" Dot yelled.

"Back! Back, you imbeciles! Back!" Flik said angrily to the flies, who now got jabbed by Atta's fist Flik holds onto and panicked at the same time.

"Flik, stop it!" Atta urged.

"Sorry, guys, but dinner's cancelled!" Flik sneered, but dropped Atta to the ground, leaving Dot to check on her sister. The flies snickered and continued to go close to the sisters.

"There's no place like home! There's no place like home!" Flik panicked while running to the circus bugs' neighborhood area, which was near the circus tent, and straight into the house without realizing,

"There's no place like home!"

Once Flik reached to the room with its door open, he stopped in his tracks suddenly and gasped. There lay a rhinoceros beetle and a black widow spider on a bed. The ant stepped back, but could tell the way Rosie was moaning and Dim was snoring, which sounded like a fierce animal, is that the two were asleep. Once Flik was about to step out of the room, a hand grabbed him and it caused Flik to muffle with a yell and a gasp, but realize that it was just Atta and Dot

"Don't be a coward, Flik! You almost got us in trouble, and a move like that in here would get us busted!" Atta hissed as she glared at Flik.

"Oh, don't tell me what to do," Flik replied back.

"Shh!" Atta hissed, and ran past the door to find somewhere to hide.

She motioned Flik and Dot to come, and they did so, but crawled their way there. As the two peeked, Dim and Rosie were still asleep in their bed, but they could hear Dim's snoring continue, but Rosie did not make any sounds while sleeping after her moaning stops.

As Flik, Atta, and Dot crept outside, the flies were outside, waiting for the signal. Suddenly Flik creaked the floor, causing Atta and Dot to stop, and the flies shouting while peeking at the ants,

"HAH! Gotcha! Nowhere to go now!"

Dim and Rosie remain sleeping soundly in their bed. But suddenly, hearing the noise, Dim fiercely and even viciously snapped his eyes open, and Rosie shot up while sitting up.

Flik, Atta, and Dot gasped while seeing the bedroom where Dim crawled out of bed, snarling, with Rosie holding her whip with anger and saying,

"Come out wherever you are, thief!"

The flies reacted to Dim's loud growling and Rosie's whip cracking, and panicked.

"It's the monster! SCRAM!" one of the flies says, and they, including Thud, ran away out of sight.

Flik, Atta, and Dot ran out of the house quickly, but lost their balances. Dim and Rosie reacted to the sound, and spotted the ants here. Dim galloped to charge Flik, Atta, and Dot, and almost roared like a Tyrannosaurus Rex at them, but did growl loudly and noticed that the ants were out of sight. Dim and Rosie feel their sleepy state, yawned tiredly at the same time, and went inside the house and closed the door to lock it, so they do have to go back to sleep.

Flik, Atta, and Dot peeked from the rock, and sighed with relief, but noticed a praying mantis beside the lovely moth, the pill bugs, and even the clowns along with their grasshopper partner named Molt, angrily staring at them. The ants could tell the fact that the other circus bugs are awake. Manny peeked close and asked,

"Who are you?!"

"Uh…" Flik stammered.

"Uh is NO answer. I asked you! Where did you come from?!" Manny shouted a little bit with anger.

Gypsy was concerned, as if he recognized the ants at first, so did the other circus bugs

"Hey! Back off!" Atta yelled and stood up for Flik and her sister Dot.

Manny stopped while recognizing Atta, just like his wife Gypsy and the other circus bugs did.

Atta looked surprised by then. Flik and Dot recognized the other circus bugs. while Atta was doing the same.

"Atta, my dear?" Manny asked with concern.

"Manny?" Atta questioned.

"Flik, Dot… My dears, it's you!" Manny cried out and embraced Flik, Atta, and Dot, who blushed at the same time.

Gypsy and the other circus bugs nodded as they came for a hug, too.

But when they noticed Dim and Rosie not here, they decided to come up with a plan.

"Dot, we can let you hang out with Dim and Rosie since they are our most truest friends, but largely yours," Atta said to her sister.

"Okay?" Dot curiously questioned.

"You can hang out. with them while me and Atta hang out with Manny and Gypsy since the two are meant for each other, making it a surprise. The others are coming, too," Flik chimed in,

"I hope you be a good girl, little-seed."

"No worries, Flik and Atta. I'll be good," Dot replied with a sweet smile and hugged her sister and her brother-in-law.

Flik and Atta returned the hug and went out with Manny and Gypsy, including the other circus bugs, but not until saying goodbye.

Once Flik, Atta, and the circus bugs left Dot, she ended up walking inside Dim and Rosie's home. Dot looked through the house window, and noticed that it was halfway close to sunset, but still early afternoon. She crept inside their bedroom, and kneeled down near Dim and Rosie, who remain sound asleep for the rest of the day.

Dot sighs sadly, as if she wanted to wake Dim and Rosie up so bad. Suddenly, the rhinoceros beetle's snoring faded, and he opened his eyes. Dim sat up and yawned like a lion, facing the ant princess shyly. The black widow spider sleepily moaned and woke up as well. Rosie rubbed her eyes and yawned,

"Dot, honey?"

"Oh, good morning! You two were asleep half of all day," Dot squealed excitedly, but seriously.

Dim and Rosie reacted, and felt frustrated. Dim shyly moaned with less distraught, but Rosie reassured her adopted son, making him purr because of her motherly instincts kicking in.

"Hey, it's okay, brother," Dot said with a smile and a secret sisterly kiss on Dim's horn, as if he was more of her autistic brother,

"I'm not mad. It's just that you and Rosie had a good sleep so far."

Dim shyly blushed, but Rosie did end up saying for him,

"Well, Dim can't speak or anything, but we just wanted to say thank you, and did sleep perfectly since we are bored or anything, so…"

But after the sentence got paused, Rosie asked hurriedly,

"Where are Flik and your sister Atta?"

"Oh, they went with the other circus bugs after hearing that Manny and Gypsy would be meant for each other wince many years of marriage, they say," Dot replied while blushing.

Dim and Rosie looked at each other and reluctantly but surely agreed. Once they got off of bed and themselves cleaned up, they followed Dot outside.

"Rosie, can I ride on Dim? I would like to know him more as his sister and as my brother!" she asked excitedly.

"Of course, princess!" Rosie agreed with a smile as she held Dot, placed her on Dim's back, and hopped along, too. Dim chuckled excitedly.

As time went on, Dot was riding on Dim with Rosie's permission, of course. The three do laugh with enjoyment at the same time. But once they heard a loud racket and, most of all, a scream, Dim stopped in his tracks and whimpered shyly. Dot and Rosie reassured him that everything will be okay.

"What is that?" Rosie asked, but Dot had noticed and panicked,

"It's my brother-in-law Flik and sister Atta!"

Rosie gasped as she told Dim,

"Okay, Dim, honey, we gotta get going! Flik, Atta, and even our other friends are in trouble. We gotta help them!"

Dim stopped whimpering and shyly but surely nodded. Then, he dilated his eyes to the path, swung his legs with a ferocious roar of adventurous bravery, and galloped as quickly as he can, with both Dot and Rosie riding on him.

Meanwhile…

Flik, Atta, Manny, Gypsy, and the other circus bugs were at Bennett's Bar for tonight's dinner.

"So, how are your jobs going?" Atta asked.

"Boring, dear," Gypsy replied, but Manny chimed in as while comforting her.

"Fret not, Atta, my dear and Flik, my boy. It would get easier soon to make it perfect," he said.

"Besides, P.T. better face the facts we try our best," Molt added.

"You fired! You fired!" Tuck and Roll, on the other hand, shouted at each other.

Manny faced the pill bugs as he was angered and slapped them angrily. Gypsy crossed her arms at them. Francis, Slim, Heimlich, and Molt agreed.

"P.T. is bossy always. So, what happens next?" Flik asked with a chuckle.

"Pretty much. But Heimlich is always excited due to the fact that he was a beautiful butterfly," Slim says while drinking the water drop, but noticed something from the background.

He gasped and whispered to Francis,

"Francis, your boyfriends from the circus are here!"

Francis turned with disbelief and arrogance, but gasped while seeing the flies here. One of the flies says with a sneer,

"That's her!"

As Flik and Atta gasped, they saw the flies and even Thud, who was bigger, bothering Francis while the circus bugs were trying to keep Francis cool from being angry despite the flies thinking that he was a girl. The ants, all of a sudden, do end up seeing dilated eyes from the lurking grass blades.

"Dot?" Flik and Atta whispered.

The circus bugs caught the ants' attention and wondered the same thing.

As Francis made the Robin Hood Act, he used Slim as a sword, scaring the flies away. Heimlich joins the play as Little John.

"We are the warriors!" the ladybug sneered.

"Swish swish; twang twang," the stick insect added, as if to scare the flies away as a sword,

Francis said as well,

"Little John!"

"What ho, Robin!" added Heimlich, landing beside Francis, and pulled a small fake sword out of a piece of food, tossing the food aside,

"Justice is my sword and truth shall be my quiver!"

As they advanced on the flies, they backed off a bit. The crowd also moved back, giving room.

"Jawohl!" spared Heimlich, while Francis swung Slim at the flies. The bartender watched with a vaguely amused expression.

But suddenly, Thud grabs a hold of Slim's head and snarled directly into his face.

"Oh, me thinking it's not working," Francis said with panic.

Flik, Atta, and the circus bugs screamed in fear as the flies prepare to get a glimpse at them, but suddenly, a loud Tyrannosaurus Rex roar was heard. The flies turned where the two ants and circus bugs face. It was Dim, Rosie, and Dot! Rosie and Dot were riding on Dim.

"Leave my siblings and friends alone!" Dot shouted.

"Dot!" Flik and Atta cried.

Rosie lashed out her whip angrily to protect her friends and family. The flies backed away, but were trapped by the three and the others from another side. Rosie motioned Dot and Dim to do their things, and they nodded. Dot threw a bunch of berries at the flies and even their pal Thud, who yelped in panic. After that, Dim escalated his ferociousness by increasing it and decreasing his shyness, and roared loudly at the flies directly into their faces! The flies and Thud reacted, and ran away, screaming for their lives.

Flik, Atta, and the other circus bugs cheered for Dot, Dim, and Rosie.

"Dim! Rosie! You're awake!" Flik said happily.

"It's nothing, Flik, honey. Dot was best today and she did play with my son Dim, including me," Rosie replies with a smile.

In reaction, Dim chuckles characteristically. Dot giggles as well as she hugged him. Dim realizes as he hugs her back, nuzzling Dot. Flik, Atta, Rosie, and the other circus bugs felt awed.

That, indeed, was mostly a family fun night after all, despite the fact that they do fight for justice and even friendship.

As the day gets late, it starts becoming nighttime. Flik, Atta, Dot, and the circus bugs bud each other goodnight; the ants left the circus troupe in the city of Bugdom and back to Ant Island for the night.

Flik and Atta had Dot room with them along with Aphie, who slept on her lap. Once Dot fell right to sleep, Flik and Atta ended up falling asleep together in the chamber.

Meanwhile in the city of Bugdom, Manny and Gypsy were getting ready for bed; Manny smoothed Gypsy's pregnant belly after realizing and even notcing during many years since their marriage, as if to let the ants know the next day, and the two ended up falling asleep.

On the other hand, Rosie was tucking her adopted son to bed; just when Dim was getting very tired, Rosie sang Dim a lullaby, causing him to like her singing but fall asleep. Rosie smiled and kissed Dim's sleeping form as she fell back asleep.

The other circus bugs were tucked in their homes as well, asleep.
