O5-9 gulped her water down as she swallowed her weekly dose of Class-W mnestics. She let out a sigh as she set down the glass of water on her desk, the memory enhancing drugs starting to circulate through her system.

It had been a busy week at the Foundation. She and the rest of the foundation had their hands full dealing with the recent incident last month. That being the entirety of the universe having undergone a CK-Class Reality Restructuring Scenario so great that it affected even Exclusionary Sites. This had only happened twice in Foundation history, both times being full on SCPs. Thankfully, the solar system came out almost completely unscathed, the stars however, did not.

While the rest of the foundation was trying to figure out what the hell had happened and whether they could reverse it or not, Nine was playing damage control. While most of the constellations were similar enough, stars were in the wrong places, some new stars along with ones missing. Star charts had to be redrawn, astronomers would have to be either reeducated or bribed, and human culture itself had to be edited to account for this sudden change in things like Zodiac symbols. Despite doing things like this around a dozen times before, it didn't make it any easier whenever she had to do it again.

A knock on the door alerted her to someone entering her office. Nine looked up as O5-4 entered the room, the Frenchman dressed in one of his nice suits. He had clearly just got back from a diplomatic meeting.

"Hello Four. Does the Blackmoon howl?" Nine said as Four entered the room.

"When disaster strikes at midnight," he said, confirming that it was indeed O5-4 and not someone impersonating him, "Hey Nine, how's it going?"

"It's going well. I'm still working on finalizing the new, complete astronomical maps, although we have gone and started to integrate things as we finish up. Gamma-5 is having a field day debunking the old stellar models as we try to replace them, in every book. We should be good to go in around half a month, the old models will be forgotten by then, and the new models will have always been correct. How about you?"

"Well, we've just started talks with the GOC on the status of Site-Anvil. Looks like neither of us got the yearly heartbeat ping, three days ago. We are now discussing plans on how to handle the continued survival of the human race and whether to continue extrasolar colonization together or individually."

"Just another problem we need to solve. The GOC must also be having a field day trying to keep this under wraps, and some of the Council of 108 must be completely rethinking their theology. But hey, at least we've landed in a universe that's similar enough to our own," Nine said, full of relief, "imagine if we were in a completely alien universe. It's not like anything major has changed."

A ping came up on Nine's screen, as a new notification appeared on her computer. She had only planned to briefly acknowledge it, but what she saw made her face go pale. She turned to Four, but his face was pale too. He held his phone in his hand, which technically was against Foundation protocol, even if it was one of the anomalous ones the O5 carried, but they had bigger things to worry about then whether Four should have his phone or not.

"Did you…"

"Yes," Four interrupted, knowing what she was going to ask before she finished, "we need to declare a state of emergency. Now."

Soon the intercom in every Foundation holding began to blare, "A state of emergency has been declared. An immediate threat to normalcy has been identified. We are experiencing a BI-Class Before Invasion Scenario. All Foundation personnel must work to prevent the imminent alien invasion from occurring. I repeat, all Foundation personnel must work to prevent the imminent alien invasion from occurring."

Admiral Faustus sat in their quarters as the hum of the Gellar Field quieted as their lone ship re-entered Realspace. They had come to investigate this new star system to make sure it was free of Xenos and other daemonic influences. It had just appeared one day after turbulent warp storms made it impossible to access seemingly completely empty space. After they subsided, a new star appeared in its place in realspace. Clearly the influence of the enemies to man, but to what extent, Faustus was tasked with finding out.

A knock on the door revealed a bondsman, "My lord, Captain Mattius wishes for your presence on the deck, he has an anomaly he wishes to show you."

"Tell him I will be there shortly." With a nod the guardsmen left, Faustus stood up and began his way to the main deck.

"Admiral Faustus," Captain Mattius said as Faustus entered into the main deck, "thank you for meeting me on such short notice, but I have noticed something very… interesting," he gestured to an image of the third planet of this system, "It seems to already be inhabited by Xenos. If I may say, it seems like it's a standard civilized world with little to no daemonic activity."

"This is a foul trick of the Warp," Faustus said, "This star can't possibly have planets yet, much less be inhabited by anyone. They must be Xeno scum who plan to launch an attack on Holy Terra itself."

He turned to a random bondsman who didn't look busy enough, "You, bondsman. Go get an astropath, we will need reinforcements if we wish to deal with this threat before it is able to make its move on Terra."

"My lord," Captain Mattius, said as the bondsman went to perform its duty, "that is not the only thing I wished to show you."

The Captain pulled up a photo of the fifth planet. It looked almost exactly like Jupiter, but unlike its model, the planet's red spot had a gigantic mechanical construct parked in the center of it. It dwarfed all but the biggest of ships that the Imperium had to offer, even some eldar craftworld paled in comparison to its size. Almost every inch of it was covered with weapons, it looked like it could Exterminatus an entire solar system and have weapons to spare. What was even more noticeable was the fact that it seemed to be in disrepair! Missing over what appeared to be 30% of its mass! The size of it made Amiral Faustus's head spin.

"By the God Emperor…" Faustus said, "that thing could eat us alive! We must make our first strike against that, and then we can deal with whatever Xenos threat the rest of them pose."

"My Lord. We appear to be getting a Vox transmission from an unknown craft."

"Then put it through," Captain Mattius said.

A stern voice in low gothic started to speak to the members of the deck.

"You are currently trespassing on sovereign space. Under the combined authority of the United Nations Security Council, and the Council of 108, you are found in violation of the five fold mission. You are now obligated to retreat from our solar system or face retaliatory actions from the Global Occult Coalition."
