The scene opens up to Meilin and her friends on the roof of her house from a far view with her friends behind her and Meilin not facing them.
Miriam prompts, "Okay, now, say it." The camera zooms in at a hesitant Meilin then pan at Miriam, Abby, and Priya. "Say it."
The camera pans to Meilin who face her friends as she refuses, "I can't."
The camera pan to her friends as Abby argues with her hands on her hips, "Mei, you're never going to feel better until you get this thing off your chest."
The camera pans to Meilin's torso which shows an alien-like leech sucking on her chest.
The camera zooms out slightly to show all four friends as Meilin concurs, "I know, girls." She pulls it off and throws it aside until it is offscreen before she turns around again, still hesitant.
Miriam prompts, "Now say it." The camera pans to a now nervous Meilin. "Say iiiit." This makes Meilin flinch and clench her eyes shut which causes her to turn into a red panda.
Meilin mutters lowly, "I'm ugly."
The camera pan to her friends as Priya deadpans interrogatively, "You're ugly and what?..."
The camera pans back to Meilin as she briefly face her friends while asking, "A red panda?"
Priya then briefly appears onscreen with Meilin, placing a reassuring right hand on Meilin's right shoulder. "No. Proud!" She walks back offscreen.
Meilin turns back around as she reverts back into her human form as she gulps audibly and states, "I'm ugly and I'm proud."
The camera zooms out slightly to show all four friends again with her friends smiling encouragingly as Miriam prompts, "Good. Say it louder."
Meilin reiterates a little louder, slightly uncertain, "I'm ugly and I'm proud."
Priya chimes in flatly, "Louder."
Meilin reiterates even louder, feeling a little confident, "I'm ugly and I'm proud!"
The camera zooms out as Abby chimes in, "Louder!"
Meilin reiterates by yelling, super confident, "I'M UGLY AND I'M PROUD!!!" The camera pans all the way over to Tyler's roof where he lounging on a fold-out chair while wearing sunglasses, tanning. "I'M UGLY AND I'M PROUD!" The camera zooms in at Tyler. "I'M UGLY AND I'M PROUD!"
Tyler deadpans interrogatively, "Is that what she calls it?"
The camera pans back to Meilin and her friends with Meilin breathing heavily in full confidence as she exclaims happily, "That. felt. great!" She then turns into a red panda as she pumps out her chest and raises her right fist in the hair. "I feel empowered!"
She face her friends again as Miriam asks, "So whaddya wanna do now?"
Meilin shrug her shoulders and suggests, "I don't know. How about a movie?"
Skipping ahead of time where the four friends are in the ladies' room.
Meilin whips out the last remaining of her sundae as she points out, "Girls! My sundae gave us rancid breath!"
Priya deadpans interrogatively as her putrid breath swirls at Meilin, "Whatcha mean?"
The camera briefly zooms in at Meilin who coughs as the fume dissipates as she explains, "I mean, we're not ugly!" The camera zooms out slightly to show all four friends. "We just stink!"
Miriam asks, "Stink?"
The girls cheer ecstatically in relief, "YEEEEEEAAH!!! WOO HOOOOOO!!!" Meilin turns into a red panda as she joyfully spins around with her friends circling around while they all chant, "We stink! We stink! WE STINK! WE STINK!" They continue chanting as the camera zooms out to show the entire theater as the fumes encompass it and it dissolves to the ground. Meilin runs out with her friends riding her on her back. "WE STINK! WE STINK!"
The camera pans to Tyler looking at a 4Town poster, mainly at Aaron Z. in awe as the girls run up to him which gets his attention.
Meilin turns back into her human form briefly as she asks, "Oh, guess what, Tyler?!"
The girls admit, "WEEEE STIIIINK!!!" They embrace a confused Tyler in a warm group hug.
Then Meilin turns back into a red panda with her friends on board on her back as she runs off while they still cheer, "OH YEEEEAAH!!! WE'RE SMELLY! I REEK! SMELL ME!" They disappear out of sight over a hill.
The scene fades to black. The End.
