Notes: This story takes place days after the events of Martian-Daisy's story "Happy Holidays".
Summary: The Rugrats gang is having a New Year's Eve party over at Peter's castle to ring out the old year and ring in the new year over midnight on New Year's Eve.
It was a splendid New Year's Eve night as the Rugrats, Angelica, Susie, Zoey and their parents were all at Peter's castle celebrating New Year's Eve before midnight.
"This will be the biggest bash of the year bro" said Stu.
"Oh you bet your life it will be" replied Drew.
"It's a pleasure to have you all here to celebrate the occasion" said Peter.
"Yeah" replied all the party goers in unison.
Meanwhile, in the play room the Rugrats, Angelica, Susie, and Zoey were starting their New Year's Eve activities.
"Hey guys" said Angelica "I brought my radio and a CD my daddy bought for us with holiday song classics (which just happens to be the Rugrats Holiday Classics album) we could dance and jump up and down to" she said.
"Yay" cheered the others in unison.
"That sounds cool" said Zoey.
"Uh-huh, it will be fun" replied Kimi.
"Im certain that whatever songs are on the disc, we can take it in stride" Zack thought to himself.
"Yeah let's do it" said Phil and Lil in unison.
"It reminds me of the time when most of us danced to Angelica's lake" said Chuckie.
"If you guys are up for it, Im up for it" said Tommy.
"Yeah, dance off" replied Dil and Savannah.
"Okay it could be fun" said Susie.
"Well what are we standing around for lets get the music going" said Jesse.
Angelica put the CD in her radio and all the kids started jumping, laughing, and dancing around as the first of twelve songs started to play.

The kids were soon re-energized from their snack and refreshments and were ready for more New Year's Eve fun.

Peter led the kids to a table where there were fun dress up costumes, hats, and fancy wigs for fun photo props.
"Wow" exclaimed the kids in unison.
"What are these for" asked Tommy.
"All these props are fun for taking pictures with when you try on any of these" replied Peter.
Soon the kids wasted no time with playing dress-up on New Year's Eve.
"Look I'm Angelica the Magnificent" said Angelica.
"How do I look in a bride's outfit" asked Zoey.
"Like a pretty little angel like I've dressed up as" replied Susie.
"Hey look I'm the butler" said Phil.
"And I'm the maid" added Lil.
"Hey look my hair has gotted bigger" said Dil as he put on a wig.
"That's funny" replied Jesse in fits of laughter. "What do you think of me as a cowboy" he asked.
"Like you'll knock em dead" replied Zack. " I'm dressed up as my favoritest superhero Super Why" he said.
"That's cool" replied Savannah. "And I'm dressed up as my favoritest adventurer Dora the Explorer" she replied.
"Cool" went Kimi. "And I gots a red cape and a mask as my favoritest hero Super-Thing" she replied.
"Neat" replied Chuckie. "How do I look in this superhero outfit" he asked.

The excitement continued as Peter took lots of photos of the kids wearing and playing with the prop dress up gear until they were ready for the next activity.
"You kids ready for the next New Year's Eve activity" asked Peter.

Peter led them to the playroom where a table full of art supplies awaited them.
"Wow" went the kids in unison.
"You kids get to try your hands at making your own party hats" said Peter.
"Yay" cheered the kids in unison as they got to work making party hats.
"I'm making a fashion tiara out of the sparkling glittery paper" said Susie.
"I'm making a crown out of this" replied Angelica.
"I'm going to make a cone shaped party hat" said Zoey.
"My party hat will look cooler than yours Philip" said Lil.
"Nuh-uh Lillian mine will look way better than yours" replied Phil.
"Isn't this the best party hat" asked Dil.

"Making New Year's party hats is fun" said Jesse.

The kids continued working hard until at last their party hats were all finished just as Peter came into the playroom.
"Hey kids" called Peter "It's almost time for the New Year's Eve ball drop to be seen on TV" he said.
"Yay" cheered all the kids in unison as they headed out of the playroom.
Soon the Rugrats, Angelica, Susie, Zoey and all the party goers were tuned into the TV with the Times Square Ball drop with party horns, noise makers and confetti at the ready.
"And it's only one minute before midnight here in Times Square as the time ball descends down the flagpole and we couldn't be more excited here" announced the news anchor.
"This is my favorite moment" said Stu.
"Me too Bro, nothing like ringing in the new year in style" replied Drew.
"We're ready than ever to usher in a new year within seconds" added Peter.
"Ten seconds until the ball rest's at the bottom of the flagpole and counting. Ten, Nine, Eight, Seven, Six, Five, Four, Three, Two, One, ZERO" said the news anchor as the people of Times Squared cheered loudly.
As soon as the ball dropped in Times Square the party goers at Peter's castle cheered loudly as confetti, sound of party horns and balloons filled the place.
"HAPPY NEW YEAR" cheered all the party goers in unison as they celebrated the new year.
Eventually it was getting late as the party goers were preparing to head for home.
"That was the funnest New Year's Party ever" said Phil and Lil in unison.
"Oh yeah" said Angelica, Susie, and Zoey in unison.
"Uh-huh, it was lots of fun" replied Kimi.
"This was our bestest adventure eber" said Tommy.
"It was cool" replied Jesse.
"We had a fun time" said Chuckie.
"Yeah" said Dil and Savannah in unison.
"It's a good thing we didn't have any party crashers show up unexpectedly like we did a few days ago" said Zack.
"You guys had party crashers" asked Susie.
The others nodded yes.
"Who were they" asked Susie.
"You so don't wanna know, all you gotta know is that the party crashers got what they deserved" said Angelica.
The others nodded in agreement.
"I get'cha" replied Susie.
Just then Peter caught up to the group.
"Hey everyone did you have a great time tonight" asked Peter.
"Yeah" shouted all the kids in unison.
"That's great" replied Peter.
"We'll have to do this again next year" said Angelica.
"Oh yeah" replied the others in unison.
"We'll see" replied Peter.
Soon the grown-ups rounded up their children and started home. And from the pictures that Peter took of the New Year's Eve party this will be one that all the kids will remember for a long time.
