I do not own "Bleach", it belongs to its original creator Tite Kubo and Atsushi Oba. This is only a fanfiction that I was inspired to write by the original work. Please support the official release of "Bleach". Most of the media - such as the art and illustrations, gifs, video's, etc. used in this fanfiction - are from the web; thus, just assume they are not mine, unless mentioned. To fit the story, images are also edited by various apps and websites. So they aren't mine, just edited.

What if Ichigo had a girlfriend before he became a substitute soul reaper?
A normal, typical girlfriend; who had no idea about the other side, or her boyfriend's abilities.
How would Ichigo's new powers affect his relationship, especially when he decides to keep them a secret.
Why do you still want to be with me? After everything you've been through… I'm not special. I'm just a typical girl.
"How about a little bit more motivation." The arrancar asked.
Ichigo watched in horror as Ulquiorra pushed Emiko's soul from her body and instantly cut the chain connecting her soul and physical form. "I'm sure you're aware how this works. You have until her chain disappears to get her, or she will become a hollow, and then there truly will be no saving her."
With that, he pushed the girl into the black portal that appeared behind him, making sure that Ichigo saw the girl's panicked expression, and the fear in her eyes.
I never wanted this. I wanted to keep her away from this mess. Keep her safe.
I'm saying this right off the bat, she will be perfectly normal. She can't see spots or hollows nor will she have or get any abilities. I wanna see/write how a completely normal girl, who has a loving boyfriend can change the story.
