A nightmare to remember- chapter one: the nightmare
BRIIIIIIIIIING!
"Okay class, settle down and take your seats! We have a lot of catching up to do! Everybody took their seats. I, as always, sit in the back right corner of the class. I get a clear view of the window beside me, allowing me to gaze out into the distant view.
"Today we will be studying cause and effect! Can anyone tell us all what an effect is?" I of course, as always, the only person who could care less about this kind of bull, raised my pencil, as everyone else stayed a mute and motionless.
"Uhm..." mrs.Yanguadaruto scanned the classroom desperately, looking for another person to call on. "Shido! Why don't you share your thoughts with the class!"
"Pfft! That's easy!" said Norman, the class dumbass, "its the opposite of cause!" he said, triumphantly. Oh Norman, your lack of knowledge will be the death of us all, meanwhile, how you got into high school remains a mystery.
"Norman, hand please." Mrs. Yanguadaruto said softly. Why is she so easy on him?
"Sorry teach..." said Norman, defeated. Well, at least he's not a total douchebag.
"Oh, ummm..." said Shido itsuka, the class womanizer, (I swear this kid has it good with the ladies. He always has two specific girls hanging around him, arguing over who gets him.) suddenly alert, as if he just realized he had been called on "effect... effect... effect... oh here! An effect is the result of an action caused by a specific thing or person."
Lunch. My favorite time of day. I get to sit on the roof and reflect on how I should use my powers to help people in need. Well, I cou-
Oh? You don't know what I mean by powers? Well, that's why nobody talks to me. They're afraid I might blow their head off or something. But come on people, really? Why would I do that? Well, a rumor had spread like wildfire that I'm mad and can't be trusted. Is it true? Hell no. I wouldn't hurt a fly. I gazed into the sky, ruffled my shoulder-length white hair, and gathered my things.
Ahh! The end of school! A time where I can do good deeds and get nothing. Why do I do it if I get nothing out of it? Well, it's just something to do.
I headed home and went straight to bed. I didn't really feel like doing much else. Zzzzzz...
Walking down the street on my way to school, I entered the campus.
"Hey!" I kept walking. "don't ignore me!" I really didn't feel like talking. Give it a rest already. Suddenly, a girl with a lollipop in her mouth stepped in front of me and pointed a finger at my chest.
"Listen here. I'm warning you. Beware the girl with the yellow clock"
"Sorry?"
"You heard me. She's a monster." yellow clock? What does that mean?
"Beware the spirit. You have been warned."
Next thing I know I hear a whisper.
"I'm going to have to kill-"
And then I woke up... chapter one end TBC...
