Hi! So, I recently was reading Always and Forever and I realised it ended in a really shocking way. And a sad way. Ginny losing her memory before professing her love? What the hell was I thinking? So I thought I'd write a sequel! Yeah, here it is!

What happened earlier:-

''Ginny!'' Harry cried as she stood up and turned away.

''Go away!'' Ginny yelled, taking up her broom and mounting it.

''Where are you going?'' Harry asked.

''Somewhere. It was a mistake to come here,'' Ginny replied.

''No, wait! Don't leave! I love you!'' Harry shouted desperately.

''You don't,'' Ginny whispered.

''I do! I do, Ginny, please!''

Ginny suddenly came back down and pressed the end of her wand to the side of her head.

''Ginny?'' Harry whispered.

''I'm sorry, Harry,'' Ginny said sadly and shouted, ''Obliviate!''

Harry screamed with pain he had never felt before as Ginny crumbled to the floor. ''No,'' he whispered.

''No!''

Chapter 1

''I'm so sorry.''

''Has she lost her memory?'' Harry asked, a painful lump in his throat.

''I- I'm afraid she has. She's a- a powerful witch and I believe what she felt drove her to power that she's never felt before,'' Healer Amber Wilch said sympathetically.

''Can she be healed?'' Mr Weasley asked, looking as if he'd do anything for his daughter.

''She can go through- treatment,'' Healer Amber said carefully, ''But there are certain feelings and memories she may never remember or- feel.''

Harry couldn't see her face because she was looking down but he knew that she meant that Ginny might never love him again. That she wouldn't remember him. That Ginny felt nothing for him nearly drove him mad. That she didn't love him... but she would! Oh god, what had he done?!

''You- you can see her but she won't remember you. She's drained, powerless. In other words, she's no more than a Squib,'' Healer Amber explained softly.

Mrs Weasley started to sob. Mr Weasley looked stricken as he put his arms around his wife. Harry felt horrible; it was all his fault. Strictly speaking, it had been Ginny who had done this to herself but if Harry hadn't talked to her, if he had just tried to stop her... he might have been able to do it! He felt empty. Nobody knew about the conversation that had taken place between the two. Nobody knew except him. And Ginny wouldn't remember.

''With some treatment we might be able to bring her magic back but there's only a ten percent chance of it returning,'' Healer Amber told them, looking at her clipboard with a sorrowful expression. ''We can visit her now if you want.''

So they were soon walking behind Healer Amber. Harry felt worse and worse with every step, knowing he was getting closer to Ginny, who was powerless and memoryless. Mrs Weasley was still crying, too absorbed in her own misery to comfort anyone. Mr Weasley was too busy trying to comfort and stop hurting. Ron had his arm around Hermione and they were both softly crying. George, who had gone through so much, looked lost and broken down and walked with his girlfriend, Angelina, Percy, and Percy's girlfriend, Audrey. Bill was leading Fleur, who was about eighteen weeks pregnant with her first child. Charlie was there too, looking sadder than the rest as he had never taken much time to properly get to know his youngest sister.

''Here she is,'' Healer Amber stopped and let them in to a large room.

In a bed was an unconscious Ginny, her fiery red hair, lighter and a ginger colour now, sprawled over the pillow, her soft brown eyes shut, her freckles standing out on her pale face. Her lips were almost blue. She was naked except for a thin, loose turquoise cloth worn as a sort of dress. Harry stepped closer to her and suddenly Ginny's eyes flew open. She sat up slightly and looked at them. ven her soft brown eyes seemed weaker, less powerful, widened in fear. She seemed to recognise Harry for a moment and his hopes rose but were immediately shattered when she said, in a tone of panic:

''Who are you'll?! Don't hurt me!''

So there it is! Please review!
