So, I must confess. You see, I haven't update this story for soo long, and truthfully one of the many reasons I decided to rewrite the last few chapters and combine them into one, is because I kind of forget how this story will progress... hahaha. That's why I decided to just rewrite it, and kind of change things is some part, some things, and find a new plot. Maybe some of you already realized it. The other reason, I kind of forget my own writing style and need to find it again.

Welcome to chapter 35.

Also, someone asked me why I change the synopsis. As I said, I forget how the story will progressed, and that synopsis was mean for the last plot. This is will be different plot. Or more like different ending you could say.

Night has fallen. It has been few hours since the battle was over. Giotto told them to rest before decided on meeting the day after. Tsuna was too tired and wired up to object. His guardians who turned back to their little self were too tired to attend the meeting too (with the exception of Kyoya, that man is monster). They managed to introduce Dino, Reborn, Fon and Colonello before everyone retired to their own room and guest rooms. After checking his guardians and make sure that no one was hurt badly (his guardians hates hospital or place that resembled it like infirmary), he let them to rest. Reborn had gone to god know where, he (thankfully) brought Fon and Colonello with him. Cozart and Rino decided to went back to their territory. Enma and his guardians also went with them. Some of the staff were wounded because of falling debris and cuts, but nothing serious. They managed to capture some of the attackers, but nothing useful could be found after Alaude finished with them.

The Vongola of this time was fast, Tsuna noted. They already clean up the bodies and only the rumble was left.

It's already midnight, he should be asleep and prepare for tomorrow. But his day was not over yet.

"Should we start?" He turned around. Scattered around his dark room were Byakuran, Kyoya, Mukuro and Dino. Faint mist flame surround them, creating a small barrier to prevent eavesdropper. Tsuna glanced back at he sky before focusing back to his late night visitor.

"So, Tsunayoshi-kun, what do you thing of this world?" Mukuro started. He chuckled. "There's so many difference, yet so many similarities, the system though…"

"It's completely different." Tsuna agreed. "I don't even think that the Arcobaleno system is the same. Like they were not even cursed?"

"Agreed. And… from how they respond to everything that had happened, it seems they only think the 'Unknown' as a normal mafia group that caused disaster on Casa Nostra, nothing more. It's never crossed their mind that 'Unknown' is a tri-ni-sette problem, despite how they purposely attacked Byakuran and Vongola, the involvement of Sephira and Byakuran, also the appearance of Checkerface." Dino continued.

"They don't even know that Vongola is a part of tri-ni-sette." Tsuna said tiredly. He walked to his bed and sat on it, not missing the surprise expression passed through the rest.

"Seriously?" Dino asked incredulously. Tsuna nodded.

"Yeah, which pretty telling about how tri-ni-sette was handled in this world."

"Hiding secret on plain sight, huh." Kyoya hummed. Mukuro smirked in amusement.

"How amusing."

Tsuna sighed. "Amusing yes, but it make everything harder."

"Ah, about that, it's better that we don't trust Sephira." Byakuran mentioned. "She probably in cahoot with Checkerface and Unknown."

"Did you just said cahoot?" Dino muttered. Tsuna stared at Byakuran in disbelief.

"What? What do you mean?"

"Well." Byakuran chewed obnoxiously. "I have been watching her every move even before we managed to open the portal and we arrived here. Kawahira provided a monitor for us you know, and when we managed to come here, I draw my conclusion that it's impossible for her to not know nothing when it's Checkerface who was behind the Unknown and Mare ring theft. Especially if she is the Arcobaleno sky. After you were back to Vongola, her attitude kind of suspicious. Despite that the system is different, but some things stay the same."

Tsuna stared blankly at him. "You confront her didn't you?"

"Yup! And she did say interesting things. Like 'the arcobaleno is sacrifice.'" Byakuran smiled darkly. Tsuna narrowed his eyes.

"Since when? Because we did meet before and I know she was genuine before then. My intuition said nothing, and she was the one who called us here too." Tsuna growled.

"What? What do you mean she was the one who called you here?" Dino cut in. Tsuna titled his head.

"Before we were send here by Wonomichi by Checkerface order, we heard some kind of poem." Tsuna explained. "It was spoken directly to us. If I'm not wrong this is the word.

When teh clam made any calls

The rainbow and the sea will answer

Time and dimension will not hinder their meeting

Lightning will come as a sign for it's enemies

Another sky will come to assist

The aloof cloud will come to support

The protective mist will come to cover

Then, the tragedy will occur

However,

The rain will wash away the pain

The sun will shine brightly once again

And the calm before the storm attack relentlessly

When all the elements have completed

Peace will return

I asked Sephira about that, and she said she was the one who send the message and with the power of tri-ni-sette managed to send me and my guardians here. She also said that she make a deal with our own Kawahira too

Dino furrowed his brows. "That poem is about your guardians."

Tsuna nodded. "I don't suspect anything back then, because this is something that could happened to me and my guardians considering our track record and luck."

"But you change your mind when we got here, right Tsunayoshi-kun." Byakuran chuckled. Tsuna stared unnervingly at him.

"Kawahira-san would not let all of you to come here. Especially Byakuran." Tsuna said. "Except, that he think, this is outside of Vongola jurisdiction anymore."

"Is not. Not anymore." Kyoya intercepted. He stared at Tsuna before making himself comfortable on the couch. "I already investigated this world."

Tsuna raised his brow at his cloud. Mukuro hummed from his seat, curious despite everything. Byakuran stared at Kyoya with wicked glint and Dino waited patiently.

"First although the history of this world and our world similar, there's some big difference. The most obvious is the tri-ni-sette system. The only known tri-ni-sette part is the Arcobaleno. Vongola and Mare was not a well known fact, as what Little Animal said. They have different handler, at least four of them. There that Carnivore mist and the herbivore girl, and two more whose identity is still unknown. The arcobaleno was not cursed and the succession ceremony is different. The current Arcobaleno are herbivore." Kyoya raised his brow as if dare them to prove him wrong. Tsuna must agree with the skylark, the current arcobaleno… well to be blunt they are more normal than what he was expected. Maybe it's because he was surrounded with at least crazy mad people, but he expected them to be on the ex-arcobaleno level at least.

Kyoya stared at his audience then raised two finger. "Then there's still more."

Tsuna muttered. "Kyoya did you just talk normally? Is the world ending? He talks like a normal civilized being."

"Second, the disappearance of the Corphecio, the Unknown and Dominico Stranta" Kyoya ignored Tsuna completely. "All of them were connected to Little Animal, but why? Dominico Stranta is not the only one of many faces that Little Animal know. They are close but not that close. Why manipulated him and brought him here? Why kill the Corphecio then? And not leave anything behind? Why created the Unknown with this world Dominico as the leader?"

"Make sense." Dino murmured.

"Third, why did they call our Vongola? Why specifically Little Animal's Vongola? Not from other world? Yes, from the poem itself sounded like they were trying to resolve this whole mess by calling us here, but that did not seems the case because the problem itself just evolved to something more."

"There's also the absence of Vindice." Kyoya finally said. Tsuna huffed.

"So you did noticed. I didn't noticed anything strange back then, because war between family is common things. But attack to a family, more over someone that hold the tri-ni-sette, now that's unusual things to happen, and the Arcobaleno also get involved. It's impossible for the Vindice to ignore all of this." Tsuna said. "I honestly would not realized this if not because Reborn."

"True." Dino nodded in agreement.

"Kufufufu, I actually tried to investigate it back when the attack happened." Mukuro said. "I have special connection with the Vindicare itself so it's easy for me to travel there through my means of transport. I don't know if, this Vendicare is the same as our world. Imagine my surprise when I tried and found nothing there. No Vindice."

"What?" Tsuna jerked. "What do you mean there's no Vindice?"

"Oh the prison is there, it's the lack of the guards. There's also the lack of night flame." Mukuro said, voice turned serious. He despise Vindice but he did know that they have purpose too. "I don't feel any trace of it Tsunayoshi. Nothing. It's like that place is deserted a long time ago. And I don't mean one two years, but almost decade long"

Silence.

"Well that's just make everything worse." Dino finally said. Tsuna groaned.

"I want holiday."

"Well after this you could have your holiday." Dino said sympathy.

"... Reborn will kill me first." Dino grimaced at that. He patted his little brother shoulder. Tsuna pouted.

"Okay fine, let's just clean this mess then go back home." Tsuna grumbled and turned to Kyoya. "Kyoya, I want you to looking into Vindice. Do whatever you need to find out what happened to them and if their absence caused disturbance and become one of the reason why we were called here."

Kyoya grunted in agreement. He titled his head and smirk while nodding with more enthusiasm. Tsuna didn't want to know what he was thinking. He stared at Dino and titled his head to Kyoya in silent order. "Dino, please, go with Kyoya."

He then turned to Mukuro, completely ignoring Dino's look of resignation. "Mukuro I need you to find information about Unknown and infiltrate their base if possible. Find out what exactly their purpose and why they manipulate Dominico and destroy the Corphecio… you can do whatever it takes, Even traumatizing them. I'm already lost all my patience here."

"Kufufufu, as you wish, Tsunayoshi-kun."

"Byakuran, I left Sephira to you." He said. "I know that you have this world's Byakuran's memories so you can judge the best action to her. Also… we need to save the arcobaleno too if possible."

Byakuran smirked and nodded. "Of course, Tsunayoshi-kun if that what you want!"

Tsuna nodded then frowned. He gazed at his guest before sighed. "What do you think we should do with my guardians? Is it safe for them to stay here as Vongola holder?"

The stared back in silent contemplation.

"Should we send them back to our world?" Dino asked. "I mean we will find a way to open the portal one way to anther. And what's more…"

"There's too many tri-ni-sette holder in this world that do not belong to this world." Mukuro continued. "It could causes disturbance."

Tsuna nodded finally. "What about Enma?"

"Enma is still part of tri-ni-sette." Dino explained. "He is the foundation. He could stay probably."

"Kufufufu, I think that the best option would probably send them back home, Tsunayoshi." Mukuro started. "After all this is not Vongola responsibility anymore. It's arcobaleno's now. Considered that Byakuran need to stay, that's mean that all tri-ni-sette sky is here. Byakuran's guardians and Vongola guardians need to stay in our world, or our world balance would-"

"Collapse." Tsuna sighed. He nodded to Dino.

"Dino-nii, find a way to open the portal to send my guardians back." He grimaced. "I'll tell Xanxus about the result."

He then stared at his elements seriously. "This will make it officials. From this moment, this will not become Vongola's responsibilities anymore, but Arcobaleno's. I let you do what you need to do to keep the balance between worlds. That's my order as the Arcobaleno sky."

"This is all your descendant fault." G grumbled. Giotto glared.

"Don't blame this on my descendant." G rolled his eyes.

"Please Giotto, since he suddenly popped out of nowhere with his little devil guardians. It suddenly like chaos following him anywhere. There's the Unknown, the bam, the Giglio Nero and Gesso, the next bam, the Arcobaleno and even their watcher." G rubbed his forehead tiredly. "I started to wonder how they keep their world intact if that what happened to them everytime."

"And you think you didn't caused as much chaos as them." Giotto grumbed under his breath as he poured more whiskey to his glass.

"So." G started again after Giotto drank his glass.

"So what?" Giotto asked back.

"How's the investigation doing?" G finally asked. Giotto let out a huge sigh over that.

"A mess." Giotto admitted. He drank his whiskey and put it on the table with a loud thunk.

"Before that though, do you remember when I asked Alaude to investigate about my family more?" Giotto titled his head. G nodded.

"You did, why?"

"Actually there's many discoveries that I haven't had time to tell you about." Giotto admitted. "After we build Vongola and everything, we had been so busy with trying to become true to our purpose and making alliance left and right. But back then, Alaude found some interesting piece of information."

"Oh?" G was intrigued. He knew his friend life story. They had been friend even before Giotto meet the other and decided to build Vongola.

"Yeah, remember my father?" Giotto asked. G nodded slowly.

"The blond haired man that often visited your mother right." Giotto rolled his eyes.

"I told you he has his reason for not living with us." Giotto said. "But Alaude found out his identity. His name is Iemitsu. He was born in Italy, but grew in Japan until he was in his teen. Thus the reason for his Japanese name. He is in mafia too."

Giotto took a gulp. G narrowed his eyes. "That's the reason why, he was never home huh?"

Giotto nodded. "He knew how dangerous the mafia is. The thing is, I knew from the start that the death of my mother was not a mere accident, but assassination. I was sent to orphanage and remember my father did visit me. He said he will find the culprit, but then he disappeared. Alaude said that my father died alongside his second wife. Apparently he met another women and married her. She give birth to a baby, but then both of them was killed by the same assassin."

G listened Giotto story seriously. His eyes widened when his mind registered Giotto's word. "Wait, are you saying-?"

Giotto nodded grimly. "Yes, I have a brother."

G stared at Giotto blankly. Giotto stared back. G widened his eyes in realization. "Wait are you saying-"

Giotto looked up in resignation, grimace and a little bit of hope. "A possibility yes."

G groaned. "Only you, Giotto."

There's still nothing." Dino grunted as he looked around at what he guess Bermuda's office. He strolled back to Kyoya who was staring at a patch of wall with serious eyes. "What are you doing Kyoya?"

"There." Kyoya nodded his head at the wall without turning around. As Dino walked closer he squinted his eyes and trying to see what Kyoya see.

"Is that… mural?" Dino asked. He walked closer to see better and was surprised at what he found. "Is this-?"

"Yes, a mural about the Arcobaleno." Kyoya nodded. He pointed at a particular section. "And that is what make this whole things interesting."

Dino turned his eyes. He widened his eyes in surprise as he recognized the figure drawn in that particular section. "Is that Reborn?!"

"I have been wondering about them actually." Kyoya said. "They are carnivores. Except Mammon who become a member of Varia, where are their counterpart self?"

"No." Dino drawled out. He titled his head and pulled out his pacifier from under his t-shirt and unwrap the mammon chain. It glowed brightly and the yellow light hit the mural. The mural glowed in response. "This is a message."

Kyoya raised his brows as the mural shifted and turned to a writing. Dino waved his hand and smiled. "I remember how Reborn and everyone contacted each other using a special kind of ink that only shown when you light it up with Arcobaleno light."

He turned around and started to read the message along with Kyoya. At the end of those, they stared at each other. Their expression was grim.

"Well, that's answer our question about the rest of the handler. Checkerface, Ilyusa, Bermuda and Sephira. Whoever thought that Bermuda would become one." Dino murmured. "Probably not if he has the same history as our world Bermuda."

"Like I said, herbivore, our world has different history." Kyoya said. He pointed at a particular part that interest him. "Herbivore, we go there."

Dino looked up and squinted. "W-what? Where is that?"

"Sicily." Kyoya said. "The place where the tri-ni-set was found. Pack up we go there."

"Do you find anything, Boss?" Squalo howled. Xanxus grunted in annoyance at the loud noise.

"Shut up, Shark." Xanxus growled. He stared at the surrounding lab with disgust. "Also f*ck yes, I find things."

Squalo darted inside the room Xanxus was in and stopped at what greeted him. His face scrunched in disgust at the mountain of corpses that were placed haphazardly. There's many unquestionable chemical. The lab looks deserted, but the corpses were intact and seems in good condition. His eyes sharpened when he recognize some familiar faces.

"Boss, these are-"

"Yes," Xanxus answered grimly. "The Corphecio."

He stared at his surrounding in silence then turned abruptly. "Call the minions back to sweep this floor thoroughly. We need to bury the death."

Squalo nodded grimly and darted outside while shouting for the rest of the member. Xanxus stared at his surrounding blankly before turned around. He stopped suddenly when he caught a familiar looking corpse in one of operation table. Briskly, he strode quickly and stopped. His eyes gazed down to Timoteo serene face and gripped his gun tightly. "F*ck."

Without another word he turned around and strolled outside. His hand reached inside his pocket for his phone. He put his phone and waited.

"Baby boss." He greeted curtly.

"Xanxus?" Tsuna sleepy voice answered back.

"We found the corpses." He cut in.

"What?" Tsuna exclaimed, voice more awake than before.

"We found the Corphecio. Including Timoteo. They are dead." Xanxus could hear the intake of breath and the trembling sigh after that.

"Bury them properly Xanxus, then come back. Quickly. I have news." Tsuna ordered then he paused. "No, wait, take your time Xanxus. I'll be waiting."

Xanxus grunted and end the call. "Stupid Baby boss, worry for nothing."

He took a deep breath to regain his composure before walked out to find the rest of his group. He had work to do.

"Sephira where are we?" Lucca asked curiously at this strange place. Sephira smiled softly.

"You'll know later." she giggled. Illerio watched the sky with cautious eyes. Beside him, Alcee also doing the same. Her head titled while her eyes staring unblinkingly at Sephira.

"She hiding something isn't she?" Alcee finally whispered. Illario huffed softly.

"er3." Illario watched as Sephira laughed at Benigno and Anzio's antics. Alcee glanced up at the mist.

"You never truly trust her aren't you?" Alcee finally said. Illario smirked.

"Aren't you the same?" Alcee chuckled.

"True."

They watched from afar as Beningno and Anzio continue to bickering. Lucca was giggling with Sephira.

"So, do you feel that?" He asked. Alcee titled her head and nodded. She nudged her head to behind them.

"I asked Cleto to check on it." she frowned. "But he should be back now."

Illario narrowed his eyes. He watched at his surrounding with suspicion. "Alcee, do you remember our way here?" He suddenly asked.

Alce nodded then stopped. "…no. I-My memories is hazy."

Illario cursed. "We are trapped."

"Wait-what?" Alcee stuttered. She stared at her surrounding suspiciously.

"There's mist wall here." Illario whispered. Alcee move closer to her companion. Her eyes sharpened.

"Wait, could possibly Cleto…"

"Yeah, a possibility." Illario nodded.

"B-but why?" Alcee whispered. Illario face blanked. He stared at the possible suspect that lead them here.

"Do you think…" Alcee trailed off. Illario smirked.

"Only one way to find out." He said and walked purposely to Sephira. Alcee hurriedly following behind.

"Sephira." Illario called out, effectively cutting the atmosphere. Sephira turned around and stared at Illario with confused face.

"Yes, Illario. Is something wrong?" Illario frowned.

"Cut the act." he hissed. "What are you planning Sephira."

"Illario," Lucca said warningly. Anzio and Benigno watched the proceeding cautiously.

"What?" Illario titled his head challengingly. "Are you saying that you don't realized it? Don't be absurd."

He turned back to Sephira who has gone silent. He stared back, unafraid.

"Since when you realized?" Sephira finally asked. Gone was the soft spoken voice, instead it was a monotone black voice who asked. Illario scoffed.

"Since the start." Illario watched as Sephira nodded slowly. A strange smile stretched on her face.

"Well, well, well." She said. "There's no need to hide anymore then."

She looked up. "Checerface, start the operation."
