A.N.- Hi everyone! This is going to be an extremely short chapter but it's going to be our key to the suspense. There will be a change from third to first-person POV.

DISCLAIMER: This is a fanfic based off of a figment of my imagination and will be in FanFictionPress. Thanks to a reviewer for pointing that out to me!

The girl walked down the hall, hood up and dirty blonde bangs covering her blue eyes. Her small height helped in looking as if she was minding her own business.

She knew what she was looking for, 'The Two' as he had called it. Her goal some may wonder, was to destroy them in the future Elemental battle.

Slinking into homeroom she eyes the two girls, exactly how they're been described, one platinum blonde with light blue eyes and the other with pirecing green finished with caramel honey blonde hair.

The platinum blonde was an inch shorter than the caramel honey blonde.

Now all she had to do was get close to them.

Being the new girl that should be easy. Walking over to introduce herself to seem friendly will be easy, destroying them would be a little bit harder.

"Hi, I'm Lily" I greet. "Grace" the platinum blonde says. "Ava" the other says. I walk back to my seat.

I'm already planning how to destroy them. Being a Dark Elemental had advantages.

Who had set me up to this devious task? The head of the Dark Elementals, Grang. I always thought Grang was a weird name.

What he had offered me? My family protection from those who wish to destroy us. Of course I'd accepted. It'd be harder than I thought.

Grace and Ava seemed so nice. They apparently had no idea of what was to come.

First things first, get rid of Duckett and their little ancient kitten guardians. The latter couldn't be disposed of but merely contained.

Dark Elemental powers consisted of mimicking and telekinesis.

At lunch my plan to get on their side is to pretend like I'm an Elemental, which I technically am but still.

One thing I noticed was that Ava no longer had the piercing green I'd seen earlier, now a pretty amber.

I sit down at their table, put my hands down and lean in.

"I know what your are. I'm one too." I say. The twins exchange glances and Ava says "What do you mean?"

"An Elemental. I'm one too" I repeat. "Prove it" Grace challenges.

I let water drip from my fingertips. "Have enough proof?" "I guess" they murmur at the same time.

I smirk. That was easier than taking candy from a baby. "What do you want from us?" Grace asks.

"You'll see, you'll see" I reply in a mysterious voice.

"Okayyyy totally not creepy at all" Ava says.

You have no idea. I think. "I know for certain that things are about to get a lot more interesting around here. So be prepared"

"Um okay. Thanks" Ava says.

Giving them a small warning seemed fair. I'm not a bad person. All I wanted was to keep my family safe. Is that too much to ask?

For me the answer was simple. No. Just one simple word, perfect.

I take another glance in Ava's eyes, now hazel with small golden flecks.

"What's up with your eyes? This morning they were green, when I sat down the were amber, and now they're hazel."

She shrugs. "I dunno. It's been happening ever since I was born. I can't help it. Pretty common trait for people with hazel eyes."

That explains it.

"The battle is near. Trust no one. Get close with them. Destroy them or take their powers, either way I don't care. I just need them gone. They're too powerful." Grang's voice sounds in my head.

A telepathic message. A sign. I needed to prepare for what was ahead. I know I'd feel bad for taking their elements from them. I know that there's no other way.

The fate of the world rested on what I did. It's more than what I want. It's what the world needs. I made my decision.

I have to take whats mine away from that monster, I won't stop till I do.

And that my friends is Lily. I'll say it again, there was a change from third-person to first-person POV. That was intended. I encourage you to PM me if you have a prediction or suggestion for the storyline. Anyway today (June 9th, 2022) was my last day of 6th grade so you know what that means. More Elemental! (Even though I have no readers)

Bye for now!

I request that you drop me a review so I know that people are reading.
