"I don't wanna go sleep," Pandora argued as Luna and Lucius tried to tuck her into her bed. She was already in her bed, in her pyjamas, she'd brushed her teeth and had two drinks of water already.

"But if you don't go to sleep, you won't dream about the wonderful creatures of this world," Luna stated.

"I wanna 'nother book," Pandora stated, pouting her little lips. She was still sitting up in her bed, her arms crossed across her small chest. Her long blond hair hung loose around her face. There was no arguing that she looked a lot like her father, having the same grey eyes and white blond hair. But Luna could see a bit of herself in their daughter.

"We have read you three books already, Pandora."

"More?"

"No more books tonight, sweetheart, it's time to close your eyes and go to sleep," Luna replied, turning the brass knob on the bottom of the music box next to Pandora's bed. It had belonged to Luna's mother, and to Luna, and now it was Pandora's. Soft notes filled the air. No one had ever managed to identify the melody it played and Luna was certain that it had been passed down more generations than anyone realized. Pandora glared at the small box.

"Not sleepy," she tried to argue, yawning widely to reveal her missing front tooth.

"The tooth fairy will not come if you are awake," Lucius stated, remembering what Luna had told him that morning. The whole tooth fairy idea seemed ludicrous to him, but apparently it was something Luna's family had practiced.

"No, I'm not gonna sleep," Pandora tried to argue as Luna gently pulled the quilt up over Pandora's chest. The quilt was white with cyan, navy, peacock, and other shades of blue forming an ocean scene. Luna sat down on the edge of Pandora's bed.

"Then how about we count the fishies on your quilt?" Luna suggested. "One, two," she pointed them out. Pandora watched Luna, slowly sliding further under the quilt.

"Twee, four," she mumbled, her eyes starting to droop slightly. Lucius smiled watching Luna and Pandora. He'd never thought about how much he had missed with Draco, how much he'd left to Narcissa and the elves. He was glad they didn't have the elves anymore, having freed them before he and Luna had wed.

"Five, six," Luna's voice counted as Pandora's eyes closed. Her arms wrapped around the stuffed snake Draco had bought her when she'd been born. "Seven, eight," Luna continued, making sure the child was asleep before she stood and walked over to Lucius.

"She's asleep."

"Only took half an hour this time," he said softly, wrapping an arm around Luna. They stood there together for a moment, watching Pandora.

"True," Luna answered.

"And now I do the tooth?"

"She should be asleep enough, go ahead," Luna said. Lucius walked over, summoning the tiny tooth with his wand. He held it, looking at how tiny it was, slowly he waved his wand over it, the tooth became clearer and started to sparkle. It looked like a tiny white gemstone. With a smile, he pulled the necklace from his pocket. The chain was golden with a cage in the shape of a heart pendant hanging from it. He opened the heart and tucked the tooth gem inside.

"This way, she always has it, but it's altered enough it can never be used against her," Luna said, watching Lucius place the necklace under Pandora's pillow. The girl snuggled tighter under her quilt. Lucius slipped out the room, joining Luna while Pandora started to snore softly causing them both to laugh.
