The next morning ash wakes at the feeling of something tickling his nose. Looking down he sees it's misty's hair, slightly mussed after a night's sleep and a little bit on top was rubbing against his face. She's turned around sometime during sleep and is nuzzling her face up against his chest in what he feels is the cutest thing he's ever been a part of.

"it's going to be a great day." he thinks to himself.

Gently he strokes the back of her head, hoping it's not hard enough to rouse her because he'd very much like to enjoy this for as long as possible. Now that misty has had the chance fill him in on the big secret she'd been hiding it seems she no longer feels the need to rush off in the morning in fear he'd find it on his own one lazy morning. So now, everything laid bare so to speak, he really feels like everything is clicking into place for them and he can't wait to see what happens next.

"mm morning." she says groggily, trying to dig her face deeper in to him. "you're so warm.. I could stay here all day!"

"you could if you wanted to.."

"I'd take you up on that offer if it weren't for the fact that my stomach is yelling at me and I'm pretty sure we should get up and get clean and ready to go to the contest hall later. Don't want you missing out on a long delayed reunion with dawn!" as she says this she pokes him softly in his sides earning a sharp yelp as ash tries to push her away to prevent further attacks.

"oh god misty I wasn't ready for that!" he says laughing, eyes tearing up a little. "stop it.. I can't breathe!"

"man you're easy.. But I wouldn't want it any other way."

Sitting up in bed she tussles his hair, not really doing much as like hers, his hair is absolutely destroyed.

"if you don't mind, I'm going to shower up, I think I have a fine layer of dust living on me and I can't wait to wash the feeling of that house of my body, not that it was all bad of course." with a wink she stands and moves off. From the shower stall she shouts to him "why don't you get our things together, lay out some clean clothes for us and once I'm done we can swap ok?"

"sure misty." he replies, deciding to take his time with things. The thought had briefly crossed his mind to join her, but that can wait for another time..

He can hear her humming a little tune to herself as the sounds of water falling and splashing fills the room. Eventually he gains the drive to rise from bed as well and moves to tidy up their room. Not long after he finishes getting their things organized she appears again wearing a towel loosely around her, he definitely feels that she's intentionally not leaving much to the imagination, a slight glimpse of the side of her breast, a decent portion of her thighs exposed, the edge of the towel not hanging too much lower than her crotch, all working perfectly to increase his heart beat.

"like what you see hmm?" misty says teasing him, obviously having caught his wandering eyes. "maybe later kay? Right now I think you need to wash that manly body of yours. Not that I'm complaining mind you but all that running around and exercise you got carrying valerie yesterday has given you a bit of a smell, and I'm sure you don't want dawn thinking you're still a gross stinky little boy yeah?"

His face goes beet red instantly, "it's not like that!" he knows she's playing with him, but he can't help but retaliate a little.

She steps in front of him, standing on tip toes again and gives him a quick kiss, he looks down at her as she pulls away noticing her arms holding tight around her chest squeezing her bosom in a pleasing way.

"go on, stop drooling over how hot I am and go get clean already!"

"going." he says as he moves off to bathe.

Upon getting out the room is empty as misty had told him to get dressed and meat her out front, she was going to gather their monsters and make sure they were all fed and happy.

Grabbing his pack he leaves the center and spies them all in a little park across the way, some jumping and prancing around each other, always happy to see their long time traveling friends, others relishing a little morning treat and some affection at the hands of misty.

From their they plan their day a little and head off to find some breakfast at a cute little diner down the street. trying to kill time they explore the city a little more a little while waiting for the event later that night.
