10. Chapter 10-The Blackout

Then all of a sudden the power went out and the tv screen was black with nothing on it Steve picked up the remote and tried turning it back on but it wouldn't go on . "Oh crap it's a blackout power outage right now we got to wait till it comes back on ." Steve said to Veronica . "Okay ." She said as she nodded .

He then got up and got some vanilla scented candles out and lit them so they could see in the dark ."Should we study while we are waiting for the lights to come back on? "He asked . "Sure sounds good let's work on that ." Veronica nodded in agreement . So with that they got their text books out and took notes while studying for a bit .He turned to page 53 and took notes and then turned to page 54 then took more notes as well then later on they were both finished but the lights still hadn't came back on .

"Alright so we got that done but the lights are still out so we gotta wait ." He says . "Alright ." She nodded even though she had been a bit scared since the lights went out but the good thing was she had Steve there to protect her and make her not as scared .
