Hello, everyone! :D
It's been a while and I'm really sorry for that. :(
A lot of things have happened and stolen most of my time, but now, I'm finally back in writing - and it feels great! :D
This time, the story is based on the characters of a music video by The Offspring, a band, I was really crazy about when I was younger and that I still love to listen to now. ^^
The song is called 'Slim Pickens Does The Right Thing And Rides The Bomb To Hell' (As if there wasn't any shorter title, though… X,D) and when I watched the video, the idea of writing a story based on it just hit me like a hammer. ^^
But, I guess, all of you know how that works. ^^
Now, there is only one thing, I still have to tell you (Then you finally managed to survive Eeva's BLAH BLAH. X,D Really sorry, that it is so much… VV'):
This time, the story is T-rated, because the language and the plot itself are - of course- still conforming the rules, but sometimes they might still not be too nice. So, if you absolutely can't deal with things like these, please do not read the story.
But if you're okay with it, then go on and enjoy reading.
Love, Eeva ^^
PROLOGUE: Welcome to the Freakshow
It's the year 2124. After World War III, almost two-thirds of earth's population had been extinguished. And even after the war had ended, life had been still pretty hard in some areas for those who survived.
To make this world a place worth living for again, the rulers of the countries that had been left, had decided to form an alliance which they called The Federation. Under the rule of this great alliance and under the protecting hand of their leaders, planet earth soon became quite peaceful and calm again. Population rose parallel to the regeneration of water, air and soil, and one would want to believe, that nothing could ever change this paradisiacal conditions ever again.
But there are always those who cannot stand peace and quiet. Those, who love war, chaos and anarchy. Those, who only seem to be satisfied as long as they are able to disturb and to destroy what has been build up over many years through hard work and rules to bring back peace and love.
One group of those horrible and inadequate insurrectionists -and also the most dangerous of them all – is Hell's planet whose members are dirty and barbaric manslayers that live on a secret flying base high up in the sky and attack innocent people with their lumpen burlesques of planes and weapons that were simply made to kill...
Their leader, a brutal and merciless dictator called The Skull, is one of the most radical enemies of the great Federation and rules the top ten list of the most wanted rebels so far. His goal is to destroy law and order and to establish chaos and anarchy all over the world, again.
To prevent things from ending up in chaos again, the Federation has also build up some methods to defend the people down on earth.
Young men and women are trained as future soldiers to fight against the enemy and protect those who can't fight for themselves. The so called Angels of Peace are carefully chosen and trained in flying academies, people simply call Clouds, as they also hover high up in the sky.
As well educated pilots and soldiers, they are able to fly and fight like no one else. They are brave and disciplined and an example to many boys and girls.
So let us always honor and remember those, who would give their lives to protect us every single day from the evil that lingers above the clouds and threatens us like a tumor that needs to be eliminated as soon as possible. - Keep on flying, Angels of Peace!
Well, well... - That's nice, wasn't it?
What an encouraging story full of heroic adjectives and paradisiacal views. Really beautiful, no?
Well, at least as beautiful as any bullshit could be told.
Now, guys, let me tell you a real story.
A story about real courage, about real dreams, about different kinds of rights and wrongs – and also a story about love. Y' know, the kind of love that grows under the worst of circumstances, and lasts beyond everything. Beyond pain. Beyond war. And even beyond death.
Think that's all cheesy? Might be. Some parts…
But, how about you listening to the story, I'm going to tell and then decide for yourself?
It all began at the small cafeteria of one of the Federation's armies training-centres, called 'Cloud Number Five', where a bunch of young cadets were just sitting around a table and debating about what they should have for dinner today...
