You all asked for it, you all got it. Here's my new idea, Taffyta for mayor, hope you enjoy.
(Litwak city, spring 2023)
Taffyta Muttonfudge walked to her house with several grocery bags in her hands, all the while staring at the big castle at the edge of the city. Litwak city castle, the home of Vanellope Von Schweetz, Rancis Fluggerbutter, their twin babies and Wreck it Ralph. Taffyta hated looking at that building, it reminded her of something she wasn't, a ruler. Vanellope and Ralph ruled the city mainly because they founded and built it. It wasn't fair to someone like her. She didn't know how to build stuff in this game so she couldn't make her own kingdom and rule.
As she got home to her apartment, she was greeted by her friend Candlehead, who was placing some candles around the counter.
"Hey Taffyta, see you went to gazpachos" said Candlehead
"Sale on Nuka cola, thought I'd pick some up. Also I needed food" said Taffyta
"I like gazpachos, they have food from every game it seems. Another reason I love this city. Heard some interesting gossip from crumbelina while you were out" said Candlehead "The district mayor has been kicked out of office, and elections will be held for a new one"
"We have a mayor? I thought Vanellope and her big friend ruled everything" said Taffyta
"Not exactly. Rancis can explain it better than I can" said Candlehead
(Sometime later, the castle)
Rancis was showing Taffyta a map of the city and how it was growing.
"Every neighborhood has a mayor of sorts to report to us about situations in the city. My family can't be everywhere at once, I got 2 babies to care for after all. Had to put my dreams on hold for the moment" said Rancis
"So how does one become mayor of a district?" Taffyta asked
"Simply have to sign up here and make a case to the neighborhood. Our familys is district 1, goes all the way from here to the beach pier, nice chunk of land. You'd make a good mayor maybe" said Rancis
"Me? Seriously?" Taffyta asked
"You'd still have to report to me and Vanellope, and we make the final decisions on what happens. But other than that you'll be responsible for helping the community. You were the leader of our group of friends in sugar rush, you have a bossy demeanor" said Rancis
"What? Taffyta as mayor? Don't make me laugh" said Vanellope as she walked into the room.
"What, you don't think I can do it? I can't do any worse than you do already" said Taffyta "I don't think I need to bring up what you may or may not do in the future"
"1, it's been proven by that weird creature that's not me. And 2, I may not look like it but I do a lot for this city, building things and catering to everyone's needs. I take care of all the damages made, I listen to complaints, work with the mayors and other leaders who don't live in the city. It's a tough job. As for you, you're not exactly the friendliest person out there. Why would anyone want you as a mayor?" Vanellope asked
"I'll prove you wrong that I can do this. I'm gonna sign up for the elections, be the best mayor ever" said Taffyta
"Fine, whatever you say" said Vanellope
She pulled out her phone and opened up an app before giving it to Taffyta
"Sign here, here, initial here please"
Taffyta did as Vanellope asked before she took the phone back.
"Congrats, you're in the running. You have a month to prove to the neighborhood why you should be the boss" said Vanellope
"If I were you Taffyta, maybe I'd talk to the other settlement leaders. They might have some good advice" said Rancis
"I'll keep that in mind if I start losing. Which I won't, I'm adorable and tough. I'm the textbook definition of a leader" said Taffyta
Taffyta left the castle with confidence. First she had to break the news to her friends and family, then it was time to start campaigning.
