In the Bounty Cave; Sonic, Anne, and Amity returned with their soulless friends before Sonic pressed a button labeled 'Anti Demonic Force Field' as a force field appeared in every entrance to the cave.
The three placed their friends on seperate tables before Sonic picked up a tiny flashlight and shined it on Meek, Roger, and Luz's eyes as each eye reeacted.
"Well, good news is their eyes still react to light, so there's a chance to save them yet." said Sonic.
"Any bad news?" said Amity.
"If we don't get Luz's soul, you'll have to start finding a new girlfriend to call a sweet potato." said Sonic.
Amity launched a fireball at Sonic who ducked in time.
"I'll let this one slide!" said Sonic.
"She missed you." said Anne.
"Exactly." said Sonic.
Amity looked sadly at Luz and placed a hand on her cheek.
"Don't worry, you'll be okay, I promise." said Amity.
"I get that Blights always keep their word, but don't be making promises that might be difficult to keep." said Anne.
A fireball was launched at Anne who dodged it in time.
Sonic sat at the computer and did some work on it before seeing footage of Meek's battle with Dust Devil.
The hedgehog noticed something and paused the film, confusing the girls who noticed it.
"What is it?" said Amity.
"I don't know, I think I see something on this strange monster's back besides his wings. I'll try to get a closer look." said Sonic.
He pressed some buttons on the keyboard and the paused image zoomed in on Dust Devil's back, revealing a switch that was set to 'Suck' and another setting labeled 'Blow' just below the switch.
"Is that a reverse switch?" said Anne.
"Looks like it." said Amity.
"That's our chance at stopping this monster, someone's got to get close enough to him and flip the switch to blow so that he'll release all the collected souls." said Sonic.
Anne and Amity wrote stuff down on pieces of paper and Sonic noticed in confusion.
"Wait, what's going on?" said Sonic.
"Taking a democratic vote to see who has to fight that monster." said Anne.
"When'd that happen?" said Sonic.
The girls turned their papers around, revealing they wrote Sonic's name on it.
"Eh, I'm cool with it." said Sonic.
Amity became mad.
"It's a majority vote you-"Amity said before realizing what Sonic said and became shocked, "Wait, you agreed to risk your life?"
"I do it all the time." said Sonic.
He did some thinking.
"Also, I've got a better chance of getting close since I can go so fast that I appear invisible." said Sonic.
The girls nodded.
"Fair enough." said Anne.
Sonic ran off.
Later; Sonic saw that Dust Devil was still vacuuming up some souls.
He ran to the monster and kicked him really hard, sending him crashing into a building.
The monster stood up groaning in pain and saw Sonic.
"So, someone else is wanting to get sucked up huh?" said Dust Devil.
"Oh I'm not getting my soul vacuumed." said Sonic, "IT'S MORPHIN TIME!"
He held his right hand out as his Excalibur appeared in hand.
"EXCALIBUR BLADE!" Sonic yelled before making slashing motions with it and held it over his head, "UNLEASH THE POWER!"
Morphing Sequence
The sword glowed before Sonic lodged it into the ground as cracks appeared and parts of the Excalibur Sonic armor appeared.
Sonic jumped up in the air as the armor followed and attached to him as well as his cape.
The hedgehog landed on the ground just before his helmet flew towards him.
Sonic grabbed the helmet and put it on before removing the sword from the ground and made slashing motions with it.
End Morphing Sequence
Dust Devil growled in anger before holding both arms up as medieval swords appeared from both dust buster's.
"YOULL NEVER STOP ME HEDGEHOG!" He shouted.
The two ran towards each other and clashed swords with each other.
"You think you can get out of this alive?" said Dust Devil.
"I know I can." said Sonic.
The two kept on clashing swords.
Sonic's sword started glowing before he slashed Dust Devil really hard, sending flying backwards a few feet before standing up.
"Oh it's on now." said Dust Devil.
He crossed his swords together before both started glowing and fired energy towards Sonic.
The hedgehog held the sword in front of himself before the blast hit him, creating an explosion.
The smoke cleared up, revealing that Sonic's Excalibur Sonic was scattered on the ground as well as his sword.
Dust Devil was shocked as his swords disappeared.
"Holy shit, I actually killed a super fast hedgehog before getting a chance to claim his soul." said Dust Devil.
He chuckled.
"Least likely to succeed my ass." said Dust Devil.
But his arms were grabbed from behind, shocking him again.
"What the?" said Dust Devil.
"Surprise." said a voice.
Turns out he was being held by Sonic who was still alive and out of his armor.
"I got out of the armor just before the blast could hit me." said Sonic.
"Why you." said Dust Devil.
Sonic noticed the switch on Dust Devil's back.
"This looks promising." said Sonic.
He flipped the switch from suck to blow before pressing buttons on each dust buster.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" yelled Dust Devil.
The souls were then blown out of his dust busters.
Back in the Bounty Cave; Anne and Amity were playing Battleship.
"A5?" said Amity.
"Miss." said Anne.
Amity snapped her fingers and placed a white peg on the monitor part of her Battleship board before noticing three souls entering the cave.
"Look." said Amity.
Anne turned around and noticed the souls as well.
Two souls went into Meek and Roger's bodies before both woke up.
"Whoa, what just happened?" Roger said from Meek's body.
Meek whose soul was in Roger's body became shocked.
"A mishap." said Meek.
The two pulled their respective souls out of each others bodies before putting them back in place.
The last soul went into Luz before she woke up in shock.
She sat up and looked around in confusion before getting off the table.
"What the, how'd I get in here?" said Luz.
Amity smiled.
"Luz." said Amity.
Luz turned in confusion towards Amity.
"Oh Luz, my batata is okay." Amity said just as she hugged Luz.
The human was shocked and confused by what just happened but just smiled and hugged Amity back.
Roger and Meek smiled.
"Well, that was easy." said Roger.
"Yeah." Meek said before looking around and became confused, "But where's Sonic?"
"He's fighting the monster right now. He managed to reverse everything that monster did." said Anne.
Luz became shocked.
"What, we got to help him out." said Luz.
The five then got on their Crystal Cycles before driving off.
