'Mmm. That was a really good dream!' Hetty thought as she woke up. Then she looked at the clock and saw it was almost 11 am.
'What? That can't be right.' She muttered. She had set her alarm for much earlier.
She went downstairs to get something to eat, and saw Granger relaxing on the couch with a book.
'Oh, hi! Sleep good?' He asked.
'Very well. Um, I actually slept in longer then I wanted to. Do you know why my alarm didn't go off?' Hetty asked.
'Oh, the power went off for a few seconds last night when I got up to use the bathroom.'
'Well, why didn't you wake me up so I could've reset my alarm?'
'You get really cranky when you're woken up without a planned wake up call.' ranger reminded her.
'Well, yes. But I still wanted to wake up early, I had things I wanted to do.'
'I loaded up the washing machine, cleaned up the chimney, and vaccummed. Anything else you wanted to do?'
Stunned. 'Um, not really. (chuckles). Thank you for doing the chores.' Hetty replied.
'You're welcome. And when was the last time you got to sleep in?'
'Come to think of it, I don't really remember since it's been a while!'
