Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Lovestruck Lombaxes. Enjoy the 3000-word chapter. I don't own Ratchet and Clank; Insomniac and a few others do.

He smelt the sting of blaster fire as a wooden ship seemed to spin down towards them, their cannons firing around them. It had meant them curious as of the second. He was going to be interested in the robots that attacked him.

The robots rained fire on them as of the second before he rolled his eyes to what to do next. He rolled to the side, watching all of the soldiers before he shook his head at the mechanical monsters.

"I'm going to guess when it came down to it that your familiar with these guys?" Spade questioned before he tilted his head. "Are there always people like this?" Spade asked as he pulled out the weapon before he questioned.

Spade was honestly questioning what the hell was going on. Spade tilted his head into the sky before he glanced at Rivet who seemed to be making mincemeat of the enemy.

Then again? What did he expect? She was probably the most skilled Lombax when it came down to it. He at least said that when comparing her to others who were all too different and skilled in different things.

"Yeah, but I thought after the war THAT WE HAD A TRUCE, PIERRE!" Rivet yelled into the sky where several of the robotic ships awaited them.

Spade and Rivet watched as a being seemed to emerge from part of the ship. It had been a lot odder than she expected it to be at the time. there was a lot more on her mind than just this.

Still? The more time she spent on this? The more she considered this? The more annoyed that she had been for a while. It made her question what was to come next at the moment.

Still? There was a lot more on her mind, a lot more than this as of now. She glanced up into the sky. What had brought them here? Power? The idea of something that the emperor could control and command at the time. it'd be a lot more interesting if not for the idea that he had been behind so many things that were all morally unpleasant.

One of the skiffs passed overhead, its laser canons blasting swaths into the ground as it roared overhead. It had been something to see and even more interesting to witness.

He quickly started to go on the attack, interested in what they'd want so badly that they'd launch an attack on them to this degree. Rivet seemed to already be on the attack, going through the enemy like a knife into butter.

She hummed and glanced at one of the skiffs, aware of the fact that one of them had tried to shoot him down. It became a harder pill to swallow given certain ideas.

He had a lot more on his mind before he glanced around before he hummed to himself before he seemed to question. What were the robots? What had they wanted? What was the point of them at all? Had it been something that he had said? Something he had done? He had so little on his mind that had been the most obvious, the most devoted when it came down to it.

He sighed while he glanced around at the various robots and explosions as his brain tried to process what the hell was going on. He had been a few places, but none of them had been like this, not at all when it came down to it. There was very little space in his mind for ideas like this, oh so little space that had been taken up by ideas he hadn't yet assumed could be anything like this. There was so little he seemed to understand about this place and its rules… Not that he hadn't been trying to as of the time.

Rivet seemed to question what he was doing as she stared down. She fired her weapon at one of the ships which seemed to have sent it crashing into a wall with a massive explosion. It told her all she wished to know. They had come in force and they wanted something, here, now.

Was it the Fixer? That hadn't had a lot more as of the second when it came down to it. There was a lot more before this had to end.

The explosion made her question what Pierre was committing the pirates too. Sure, there could have been something nice here. But that also meant that they'd be digging through garbage to try and find a stone that wasn't chewed up. It was something that almost made her question if her friend and rival had a death wish. It wouldn't surprise her considering how insane Pierre had been, but she at least expected some type of common sense when it came down to it.

Still? if they wanted a fight, she'd blasted give it to her allies and she'd make sure he was reminded WHY nobody usually bothered her when it came down to hero work. This was going to end sooner or later.

There was yellowing which made her go deeper and deeper into the rocks as she watched Spade clock one of the pirates across the face hard enough to send the robot crashing to the ground with pain across their face. It made her question what was to come.

She smiled at her friend which had been holding his own for too little. She'd find this out soon. Sooner or later, this would boil all over the place and it'd all snap to pieces when it came down to it. He had been curious as to what the hell was going on.

She hummed before turning to fire another shot at the robot before now. It'd be a lot more horrid when it came down to it. Spade turned and spun around the robot before bringing his axe through the back of their body.

"Ah, I see the young beauty has a new sidekick!" Pierre stated before he leaned on the edge of the wall.

He hummed to himself before watching as another rocket flew up towards his ship before she questioned what was to do next. There was something there that hadn't been when it came down to it.

Rivet rolled her eyes and kicked in her jet boots. It had been a lot more to do when it came down to it. She was going to question what the robot was at the time. it'd be a lot more hopeful if she could handle it.

"Spade, can you handle his buddies when it came down to it?" Rivet questioned before she hummed and looked at the robot.

"Uh, sure?" Spade said before he flipped off the ledge and towards the robots. "I'll handle them, fight him. You handle it. I'll be ok, I'll try not to say or do something stupid when it comes down to it." Spade stated before he sighed to himself.

The robots weren't what he was used to. It had been something curious, but it was also driving him to the edge of his sanity.

That was going to change one way or another before this was all said and done, even if he had to cut them down one by one… With an interest.

He hummed as he dodged another swing of the robot's sword and then smashed his pickaxe into their back. Sparks and metal crunching followed as the machine seemed to topple to the floor, curious as she seemed to question what was to happen.

"Riv, how often do you fight robot pirates?" Spade questioned before he sighed to himself. "C'mon, bring it. I'll handle these guys, I guess… This day is going to keep being a lot weirder, isn't it?" Spade started with a raised eyebrow.

Rivet could only raise her eyebrow before this was said and done. She leaped forward, her jet boots letting her grip one of the hanging platforms which pulled her onto one of the ships. Pierre seemed to notice because he snapped his finger at the Lombax which sent the rest of the Pirates towards her.

Rivet only rolled her eyes before flipping into the air and bringing her hammer down on one of the robots, crushing its skull under the weight. She turned and ducked under one of the swords before smashing the robot in the side which sent them flying backward.

This would be a lot more fun if he questioned before all of the moments while he hummed before he tilted his head. He was a lot more to do next before the second. He was a lot more about what to do.

There was a lot more to do next. He seemed to hum before all of the moves before she questioned what to do next. There were a lot more moves on the plans when all of the questions about what to do next. This plan was a lot more dangerous.

Still? There was a lot more to do next. Rivet looked at the pirate leader and simply rolled his eyes at her with interest. There was so little much to say and do next. This had been something that needed to be done either way if she wants to win.

Whatever little thing she had up her sleeve would be excused for now when this was all said and done. He wanted nothing more than whatever little thing was coming down the ramp before now. This had been something fun to the female Lombax and she knew more than such.

She knew more than anything that he was still dangerous for all of the power he didn't have. This had been something funny for now before this had been done and dusted.

Rivet knew that if she beat Pierre that his troops would back off. She almost questioned why a pirate master had been so easy to thwart as of the time being.

Still? This had been fun for the time being. Rivet raised her hammer and turned to look at the man who had been smirking as if enjoying his little show… One which he'd probably be regretting in a few minutes if not for anything for the time being… Honestly? It felt a little off.

She flipped herself onto the ship, oh so ready to curiously throw herself into the edge of this crazy adventure. It'd be worse if not for the idea that this could be done.

Pierre swung his blade at her which was deflected. The pirate lord seemed to take some perverse pleasure in what hoops she made him jump through. It had been something odd for now and she knew for now. It had made her question what was coming next. This was something odd for her when all had been decided for now. Whatever had been decided for now had been before now.

She had been oh so interesting as of this. What little he had been a lot more curious for now… It had all started to fall apart when she considered it. Her hammer met his sword once more, curious as to how to stop her. This had to end before something went wrong before now. It had been a while before he had battled her, usually with a small army of soldiers when this had been something was honestly before.

She had been a lot more interested in what this had been done and dusted. Whatever had been done and dusted before this was all over with had made the female Lombax oh so curious.

"Pierre, aren't you usually this crazy, or did something about the emperor break your mind?" Rivet questioned while she turned her head to the side. "I already knew you were crazy, but this is too much… But seriously, trying to take over the same planet with the Fixer? Are you crazy or just stupid?" Rivet asked before she turned to the lookout.

Pierre snorted and slowly started to think of what had been said and done next. There was oh so much that the pirate lord had seemed to question. This had been fun as she slammed her hammer into his sword and drove him back while another strike at her ribs forced her to lean backward and away as she did so. It had been a stroke of luck on her behalf when all was honestly said and done… It'd be something terrible when all of this had been done and dusted.

Rivet watched as Spade threw herself to the side before, she questioned. She seemed to tilt her head to the side as she tossed her hammer at her enemy. He dodged it before firing a laser blast at her which she rolled to the side, openly turning around towards where the laser had struck before she turned and started and backpedaled, trying to grab one of her weapons with her other hand as she did so. There was a desire to stop this for even a second.

Yet that passed as she seemed to roll to the side once more. It'd be a lot more interesting if she was honest. Pierre was never this cunning and ruthless. She questioned if the attempt to strike it big had messed with him and he had let his pride swell and grow as of now.

It'd be a fun little idea if not for the simple fact that this had driven him mad. It had been an odd little point of life and one she hadn't yet come to grips with for now. It made her brain hurt as of now. The idea had been a lot more to fathom than she questioned for now.

Still? if she backed down? People got hurt. She had stepped into the realm of heroics either way. It made her snort.

"Pierre? Your insane." Rivet stated as she locked her hammer with his blade. "Seriously. I beat you without Kit, and now that I have her backing me up? You're never going to win." Rivet added to which Pierre rolled his eyes.

"Ah, but I've gotten more tricks since we've clashed blades, my sweet flower. It's been a while since I've locked blades with anyone." Pierre added to which he smirked. "Do not think I will back down as easily as you think. I do not plan on surrendering as I did last time…. I shall become KING of the pirates now." Pierre added before he pulled his blaster out and opened fire on her.

Rivet rolled backward, looking at him as she tried to dodge his fire. She grabbed her Buzz blade launcher and returned fire as the pirate lord swatted the ammo from the air. He turned to smash the air before firing a shot which Rivet somersaulted around. He raised an eyebrow at her and leveled his gun with his other hand.

Rivet had to admit he was getting as good as he got. He had gotten good, a lot better than he had been before now. Honestly? It felt as if he had gotten just a bit cockier. He had been able to do that for even a little bit. The idea hadn't been that hard to swallow when this wasn't easy. This had been hard to be found as of now. It had been a lot odder than it had been before now as of this. The idea was planted in his mind before now. There was too much on this part of her plan to back down before now. it had been something terrible as of now. A piece of a puzzle that hadn't yet seemed to question before now.

What little she didn't have was odd for now. It had been a wild ride for her now. Rivet couldn't afford to back down for even a second. She couldn't afford to let this come down to him and her as the was all said and done. It had been an odd little tidbit of history for her. Now? there was so much that could be done and so little time for this and she couldn't let it be decided as of now.

Pierre swung at her, trying to pop her head off. he had been a lot cockier than usual as of now. He had been oh so cocky as a person and it had been a lot more confusing to her how this had been as of now. What came next was honestly the oddest part of this game when this was all said and done. He slowly approached her; his sword ready to slice her in half if he didn't at all just shoot her as of now when this was done.

Rivet flipped her hammer into her other hammer before tossing it at the soldier who dodged it and returned fire. Rivet activated the magnet in her hand which sent the weapon flying back towards her as she rolled her eyes, all too curious as to how this was going to be a lot odder as of now. It had been a lot odder to her and she knew. Whatever had come next would be interesting as of now. This had been an odd little part place on her mind when this was all decided as of now. This as of the moment was going to be a fun little distraction before now.

She snorted to herself as of now. This had to end before now as of this time and such.
