"Damn it Sammy, pick up your phone," Dean growled out as once again Sam's phone sent Dean to voicemail.
"Still nothing," Mary asked glancing at her phone willing it to ring and be Sam.
"I'm still getting his voicemail. I don't understand it's not like him to not answer his phone. Well, hell, let me try and see if one of the girls will answer or if that's still all static," Dean said sighing.
"Don't bother Dean, I just tried and it's still static. Maybe when we get closer to them it will clear up," Mary said glancing up at the sky and wondering about the fate of her youngest son and the two girls she was becoming attached to as daughters.
A few minutes later Dean checked his GPS and noticed Sam had stopped in Orlando at the Quality Inn and Suites Heritage Park, "Well at least he stopped for the night so we might still be able to catch up to him," Dean stated hitting the accelerator pushing the Impala faster.
Two hours later they pulled into the hotel and looked around, "You two go get a room and I'll find Sammy," Dean stated glancing around and noticing one the older trucks sitting close to the end of the building. He moved off heading to the end room stopping once he got there to knock. "Sam, it's me let me in dude," he paused and heard no movement, "Sam come on let me," he called again as he checked to see if he could see his brother. He finally glanced around and pulled out his lock pick set. Getting the door undone was a chore but one the click happened he was able to stick his head in, "Sammy, I'm coming in." Dean called opening the door and glancing around. He noticed the bathroom light on and headed toward it, finding Sam on the floor blood pooled around him, "Sammy!"
"Dean what's . . . no Sam," Mary called out coming in just as Dean stooped down to check Sam's pulse, "Is he?" She asked afraid to finish the question.
Dean shook his head, "No but it's not very strong. Mom, we've got no choice, call an ambulance. He needs a doctor." Dean retrieved a towel and wiped at the blood a bit on Sam's nose and mouth noticing that it was still relatively fresh. "Come on little brother, you can die not now. Whatever has you in its clutches you've got to fight it," Dean said as Mary came back into the room still on the phone.
"The ambulance is on the way. The dispatcher said if we can roll Sam on his side to make sure his mouth is clear of blood," Mary said as Dean did as instructed.
"Tell them his pulse is getting weaker, but he is breathing," Dean stated glancing again at Sam his concern rising rapidly.
"Yes, that's right he said he is breathing on his own though his pulse seems to be getting weaker. Yes, I'll step outside and wave them down. Thank you," Mary said as she moved from Dean to the door watching as she could now see the paramedics pull in.
The paramedics came in and Dean moved out of the way. They worked for some time before one of them stopped long enough to approach Dean, Mary, and Jack, "Are you the ones that found the gentleman?"
"Yes, that's my brother and this is my mom and younger brother," Dean said glancing as they began loading Sam up on a gurney, "Is he," Dean asked his voice breaking at the end.
"It's touch and go but we'll get him to a good hospital. We're going to take him to Lake Nona Medical Center. Here's the card with the address on it." The paramedic said heading toward the ambulance.
The Ambulance left lights and sirens going as Dean looked at his mom and Jack, "We better get going so we can give any information to them." His face was emotionless but inside his whole being was in turmoil over his brother.
