They moved quietly, passing but not activating many a cluster of crystals until finally they came to a vast chamber that looked like the inside of a geode. Every possible surface was crusted with the giant blue stones. The trio found themselves trying to weave between them and clamber over smaller ones to get to the other side. Wind found a few smaller chunks that had broken of somehow and pocketed them on their way. The temperature was increasing as they went further in and the humidity was making the crystals slick with condensation, several times one of them jumped when a drop of water fell upon the from above. No one was in a mood to tease any longer though.
When they reached the end of the chamber, they saw that there was a large arching entryway that seemed to be carved from the same crystals that surrounded them. It was inscribed with strange rune-like glyphs that none of them had ever seen before. Legend reached forward and traced the nearest one with his hand. It was smooth, warm, and seemed to radiate a strange power that was unfamiliar to him. He suddenly got an odd spell of vertigo like he felt when they went through a portal. He didn't like this feeling and was about to say as much when a new sound, very softly, began to echo from deep within the tunnel beyond the arch. It sounded likeā¦
It was singing. Clear beautiful singing! A haunting tune.. It reminded him of an old memory of standing as a youth in a peaceful forest listening to Nayru, the Oracle of Ages sing at the start of one of his earlier adventures. He shook the thought loose and returned to the present. He found himself stepping into the tunnel against his better judgement as if he were somehow compelled by that sweet siren call of the tune. Wind and Wild exchanged a nervous glance before following him in.
