It was a warm spring night when Sydney walked into the living room where she saw Sophia and Emmy working on their laptops. A concerned Sydney then said, "Please don't tell me there was some last minute homework I wasn't aware of." Sophia smiled as she said, "It's okay. We're just checking out some colleges." A confused Sydney then said, "But we still have exactly one year till our high school graduation. Don't you think you're a little early to be looking into that?" Sophia then said, "Well it's good to look into any what extra-curricular activities they might ask for and what else we might need to get a scholarship." Sydney then said, "Well how can you be sure of what colleges really want from you?" Sophia then said, "Well a few campuses are having open houses during the three day weekend. I'm gonna tour one I'm interested in. You should do the same." Sydney then said, "Hmm. Maybe I should."

Sydney then headed to her room while Emmy noticed that Sophia was looking intently at her screen. "Is something wrong?" Emmy asked. Sophia then said, "Um, no. Just that this place I'm looking into is the perfect college for me. They have a very good lacrosse team, and my three years on the lacrosse team at school might get me a scholarship into there." Emmy smiled as Sophia began to take notes of what she could need to try to do to get a scholarship. Emmy on the other hand began to type a message for Olive: "Have you started looking for colleges yet?" The blond replied that she had also begun looking and that she was already trying to get into a prestigious college that had an impressive math and physics major that she was very interested in. Emmy tilted her face down as she finished reading Olive's message and began to sigh.

A week later Sydney was holding hands with Harry as they walked around a college campus together. As the two looked around, an amazed Sydney said, "This school is so huge. I mean it's the size of a town. It has several grocery stores. I mean whoever heard of a school with grocery stores!?" Harry smirked as he said, "And to think this isn't the biggest school out there. So what parts of the campus do you wanna check out?" Sydney then said, "Well we gotta check out the music department." Then Harry held out a map as he said, "Cool. Looks like the cafeteria is right between there and here. Wanna stop and get some ice cream first? My treat." Sydney blushed a bit as she said, "Aww. Thanks Harry."

Sophia sat in the office of a large college building in front of an older woman. As the woman looked at several papers she said, "Well Sophia, your application is impressive, and the reccomendation from your school lacrosse coach, and the videos we saw show great promise." An excited looking Sophia then said, "So am I in?" The older woman smiled as she said, "Well I can't guarantee anything at this point. However I can say the odds are definitely in your favor now. That being said, it is important you make certain that you believe this campus is truly good for you. For our open house, we're letting any applicants tomorrow play with our boys and girls teams. If you have your equipment with you, it be a great way to truly get a feel if the teams here are right for you." With a big smile on her face, Sophia said, "I'd love to do that."

Olive and Emmy were in Olive's room laying on Olive's bed together. As they two laid side by side, Olive showed Emmy on her laptop all about the college she wanted to apply to as she said, "It's incredible. The math and physics majors are the ones that can get you into NASA and places like that. It would be amazing!" Emmy smiled as she said, "You deserve to get in there." Olive then said, "I already sent them my permanent record. I so hope I get the scholarship. Anyway, I'm gonna take a shower now. Be back in a bit." Olive then left the room as Emmy used the laptop to look more into the college she wanted to get into. As Emmy looked up the requirements though to get into the campus, and to get a scholarship, she looked down with a sad face as she sighed.

Sydney was sitting with an academic advisor in a college office while looking at a pamphlet. As Sydney looked through the pamphlet she said, "Wow. The programs here are so amazing. I can't wait to take all these classes." The academic advisor then said, "I'm glad to see you're pleased Miss Reynolds." With a big smile on her face Sydney said, "This campus is amazing. It's my dream to become a successful musician." Then the advisor said, "Well... I certaintly hope this campus helps get you there." A suddenly troubled looking Sydney then said, "Wait. Don't people that study music in college becomes successful musicians?" The advisor then said, "Well... the music industry is very hard to become succesful in. But this campus will help give you an edge over your competition." A still troubled looking Sydney then said, "But... haven't some successful artists come through this school?" The advisor beginning to look a bit nervous said, "Well... we've had a handful of our students join the National Symphony Orchestra.. and... one former student played an instrument for one of Rhianna's big albums... just one of them, but we're proud of them." Sydney suddenly had a very uncertain look on her face as she looked at the pamhlet again.

Sophia was wearing lacrosse gear as she was practicing with several young male and female college athletes. Once the practice ended, two young male college students aproached Sophia as one of them said, "Man girl, you were on fire out there." Sophia smiled as she said, "Thanks. I've been practicing a lot for the last three years." The young guy then said, "Well considering that fine figure you got, I can tell you been working out." Sophia blushed a bit as she said, "Thanks. I'm Sophia by the way." The young guy then said, "Cool. I'm John, and this is my buddy Ralph. You wanna get some dinner with us tonight and chill?" Sophia then said, "You know what... that actually sounds like a fun idea."

Emmy was sitting in Olive's bed covered by a blanket doing her homework on a laptop when Olive suddenly burst in. Olive looked at Emmy excited as she said, "I HAVE INCREDIBLE NEWS!" Olive then jumped onto the bed, as a confused Emmy said, "What? What is it?" Olive then said, "I got a response from the college I wrote to." A curious Emmy then said, "Well... what did they say?" Olive then said, "They said that if I keep my grades like I have them now, especially my math and chemistry ones, and take on an extra curricular next year, I have a high chance at a full scholarship, with a free dorm room and everything!" With a smile, Emmy said, "Wow. That's amazing." Olive then said, "I know. I gotta call my mom at work and tell her right now!" Olive then stepped out of the room, as Emmy heard a beeping sound on her laptop, indicating an e-mail had just arrived. Emmy looked at the e-mail and saw it was from the same college Olive applied to. The message said, "Dear Miss Mendoza. We reviewed your records as well as the transcript sent to us by your current high school. Unfortunately, even taking into consideration your diagnosed learning disability; your grades do not meet the ideal qualifications we seek for the student body at our institution. We wish you best in your future. Regards, Admission Committee." Tears appeared in Emmy's eyes as she closed up the laptop and laid down on the bed.

Sydney was sitting in front of her laptop in a college cafeteria as Harry walked over to Sydney with two trays of food in his hand. As Harry sat in front of Sydney, he said, "Everything okay?" Sydney shut down her laptop, while with a dissapointed face she said, "No. I was just doing a bunch of research and... the odds of breaking into the music industry and making a decent living off it are very slim. Plus, with the way music is distributed today, while more artists are getting attention; it's harder for their music to get widespread distribution." Harry then said, "Well... that all makes sense. But do the music classes here still interest you?" Sydney then said, "Well... yeah. But what's the point in spending money on college classes that have little chance of getting you a well paying career." Harry sighed and said, "Well... I guess the real question here Sydney is... what do you want to study and get a job that isn't music?" Sydney looked down as she began to think.

Sophia stepped into a college dorm, as the two young college guys: John and Ralph let her in. As Sophia looked around, John said, "And this is what a real actual college dorm looks like." Then as Sophia looked around she said, "Nice. Small but cozy. Nice sports posters you got hung up." Then Ralph said, "You should see the posters we got hung up in the bedroom." Sophia then peaked into the nearby bedroom and saw several more posters hung up as she said, "Nice. Well anyway, it's been fun hanging out with you today. But I should get back to..." Then John said, "Aw, come on girl. Don't leave. Don't you wanna stay and have fun with us?" Sophia began to look a bit troubled as she said, "Okay. I think there's been a misunderstanding. I just wanted to hang out and chat with some fellow lacross players. That's it." Then Ralph said, "Come on. You don't have to play coy with us. We know you're the famous Mishcevious Middle School Slut."

A look of horror went across Sophia's face as she said, "What!? I... how did..." Then John said, "Oh please. Like you don't know your pictures and sex tape are the most circulated things on the dark web. Your pics and vid are pinned on every dark web JB message board. You know I wouldn't have even recongized you on the field till Ralph pointed it out." Then as Sophia backed away she said, "But I... that was long ago and..." Then Raph said, "Girl. If you let us film us doing a three-way with you, we will split the money with you. You got no idea how badly people want to see new footage of you naked." As John reached to touch Sophia, Sophia slapped his hand away and yelled, "NO! Never again. Plus... I'm seventeen and still underage. How sick can you two be? Goodbye." Then as Sophia headed out the door, John said, "Hey. You leave; then you can kiss this college goodbye too. Me and Ralph here got connections. We unofficially can decide who can make or not make any lacrosse team on this campus." Then Sophia looked at the two guys with anger in her eyes as she said, "I don't care." Then Sophia bitterly headed out of the dorm, slamming the door on her way out.

Emmy was doing her homework in Olive's bedroom while sitting at a desk. Suddenly Olive came into the bedroom wearing a sweater that had the logo of the college she was interested. Olive looked at Emmy as she said, "What do you think? Got it from overnight shipping. I can't wait till Sydney and Sophia get back home tonight and I can tell them the good news." Emmy who looked like she wanted to focus just on her homework said, "Uh huh." Then Olive sat near Emmy and said, "Hey. If you want, I can help you with your homework here. I mean, graduation is still just about exactly one year away. If we can can get your grades up senior year, then maybe you can get into the same school as..." Then Emmy with an upset and and annoyed face yelled, "I'M NEVER GONNA GET INTO THE SAME SCHOOL AS YOU!"

Olive looked surprised as she said, "What do you mean Emmy? You have to have hope. There's always hope." Then Emmy said, "And there's reality. Olive, I sent in an application to your dream school too, and... they sent me a rejection message yesterday. Said how my grades weren't good enough... and yeah, they're right. I"m barely passing my classes as they are. I'm no genuis. Remember, I barely made it out of seventh grade." Then Olive said, "But you've gotten better Emmy. Your GPA has slowly gone up, you've been getting help from the aides at school, and..." Then Emmy interrupted Olive and said, "And yeah, I might get into any community college I want, but not some school for genuises. Lets face it Olive. After high school graduation, we're both gonna go our seperate ways and begin living lives too different from each other." Then Olive touched Emmy's hand as she said, "Don't say that Emmy. I don't want what we have to end. Emmy, I'll go to a different school if it means staying with you." Emmy then scooted away from Olive as she said, "I don't want us to end either. But... I can't stop you from living your dreams and fulfilling your potential. I... I'm sorry Olive." Then Emmy got up and walked out of the room crying, while Olive tilted her head down and began to think.

Sydney sat in a large garden on the college campus as Harry walked over to her. Harry then said, "Hey. You have enough time to think today?" Sydney sighed as she said, "Yeah. I was thinking about what I might want to study here. And I learned about the Family Science department here. It seemed very interesting." A curious Harry then said, "Family Science. What's that?" Sydney then said, "It's a very open ended major that allows you to study all kind of things in the field of public services such as child care outside of schools, social services, helping the disabled, and stuff like that. It seems very interesting." Harry then said, "But... would you be okay not studying music?" Sydney then said, "Well... luckily, this major allows a lot of flexibility. I can have any area of emphasis I want. So while there will be mandatory classes I have to take, I can still take a large number of classes in any field that I want. And I decided that field will be... music... or rather studying how to lead music and arts programs in various communities. But even if that doesn't work out, my major could still lead to other paths. But since I'd be studying music..." Harry smirked as he said, "You could still try to make a career with that on the side."

Sydney then said, "It'll be hard of course studying a wide range of topics. But... I'm up for the challenge." Harry then said, "Well you might need some help studying though. Maybe a friend that could always hang out with you every day..." Sydney began to blush a bit as she said, "Harry. Wait. Are you saying..." Harry then said, "I've been eye-balling this campus too. They got a great trade school program, filled with interesting classes I'd like to take. Of course the ultimate interest I have here is... you." Then Sydney looking a bit nervous said, "Harry... I don't want you to pick a school and give up the best future you can have just to be with me." Harry then gently grabbed Sydney's hands and said, "Sydney... being with you is the best future I could ever dream of having." Sydney smiled as she and Harry leaned their heads forward and kissed.

Max was working in the kitchen, when Angela stepped in and said, "We're back." A smiling Max walked over and briefly kissed Angela, before saying, "Well... how did the college visit go?" Angela titled her head down slightly as she said, "Not that well. I already tried talking to Sophia about what happened, but... maybe you can have better luck." Max then walked up the stairs to Sophia's bedroom. He saw the door was open, and Sophia was looking at her laptop with tears in her eyes. Max then stepped in and said, "Hey Sophia. So... your mom hinted to me that things didn't go as desired. What hapened?" Sophia looking frustraed said, "It had to happen, didn't it?" A confused Max then said, "I'm sorry, what had to happen?" With tears still coming from her eyes Sophia said, "My mistakes… they had to come back and wreck my future…"

Fearing the worst Max knelt in front of her and said, "Sophia... is this about..." To give Max an answer, Sophia held out her laptop and showed him an e-mail open on a screen. On it, a message from the college admissions office said, "Dear Miss Reynolds. We reviewed your academic record and resume and although you have all the academic qualifications we look for in joining our student body, it has come to our attention that you have previously been involved in a serious situation involving the production of explicit media content that was illegal. Due to our campus' policy to create a community of appropriate conduct, and our desire to avoid any controversy, we must deny you admission to our institution. We wish you best in your future."

Max looked at Sophia as he said, "Sophia I'm so sorry… I wish there was something I can do…" An angry Sophia then said, "You know what's unfair? I did some more research on their lacrosse team and you know what I found out? Half of the boys team was involved in a drug scandal last year and yet they are still happily there, just a slap on the wrist. What's wrong with this world? If boys do something bad, people just shrug it off as boys will be boys, but if a girl does something inapppropriate, she must be shammed for life? I know I did something wrong but... it was three years ago. Are my bad choices really gonna haunt me for the rest of my life!?" Sophia then suddenly began to sob, as Max held Sophia and said, "I don't know for sure Sophia. But how about this summer, we both look for colleges that aren't gonna hold your past over you. Sound good?" Sophia then looked at Max for a second, and then hugged him as she said, "Sounds like a great idea dad."

Suddenly Olive stepped into the room from nearby and said, "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know you were having a moment." Max looking at Olive then said, "No, it's okay. Is everything okay Olive? Is Emmy with you? I thought she was sleeping over at your place for another day." Olive then said, "Yeah. It's just... I had a question I wanted to ask you about Emmy. I mean I'd prefer to ask her actual parents but..." Max then said, "Olive, you like a little nervous. Is everything okay?" Olive took a deep breath and said, "I hope it will be."

Emmy was taking a shower as she was in the midst of washing her hair. Suddenly Olive opened the bathroom door as she said, "Emmy, can we talk?" Then Emmy said, "Olive... I don't know if I want to right now." Then Olive began to take her clothes off as she said, "Well what if start with... you were right." Emmy then froze as she said, "Really?" As Olive took off her underwear she said, "Yes. Me giving up my academic dreams can't be an option. But me giving up you still can't be an option either. So... I did some digging and there's a great community college near the school I want to go to. You could study and get your grades up there and maybe eventually transfer to my school." Then Emmy sighed and said, "Sounds nice but community colleges don't have dorms like your school does. I couldn't afford any houses around there." Then as a now naked Olive approached the shower door she said, "You wouldn't have to. You could live with me." Then as Emmy washed some shampoo out of her eyes she said, "How would that happen?" Then Olive said, "Well..." Then just as Emmy got the shampoo out, suddenly Olive stepped into the shower naked. The two teenagers girls paused a moment as this was the first time in their lives they had seen the other completely nude.

Then after a long moment of admiring the others' beauty Olive spoke up and said, "You see... my school only lets people have their... spouses live in the dorms with them for free." Then Emmy said, "But then the only way I could live with you is if..." Then Olive suddenly got on one knee, held out a ring and said, "I have secretly wanted to ask you this since the day I met you. Emmy Mendoza... will you marry me?" Tears poured out of Emmy's eyes as she squealed and said, "Olive. I... Oh my God! Yes Olive! I will! Yes, yes, a million times, yes! Of course I will marry you!" Olive then stood up as Emmy hugged Olive tightly and kissed her on the lips for a full minute as the two young women wrapped their arms around each other's wet naked bodies. Then once the two nude teenage girls' lips parted, Emmy said, "Wait. You came in here naked. Where were you hiding that ring?" Olive giggled and said, "Between my butt cheeks." Emmy giggled too as she said, "Oh my God. When people ask us how you proposed, we are never gonna give them an honest response for the rest of our lives." Olive smirked as she said, "That's okay. This moment and this memory will forever remain just ours. So... you looking forward to us starting a new life together?" Emmy grinned as she kissed Olive again and then said, "I do."
