"Pit its time to wake up."

"PIT WAKE UP!!!"

"I'M UP I'M UP!!" Pit yelled out it, while saying this he started falling off of his bed and then hit the floor.

"OW that a lot, I landed on my wings." pit exclaimed while getting up. you see pit is an angel, angels are servants of Gods and Goddesses who fight in battle for them or to on missions to help protect the land the divine beings rule. the Goddess Pit serves is Palutena the Goddess of light and protecter of humanity who is the voice that woke him up she can talk to people telepathically.

"could you not do that." Pit said to his Goddess

"Well it's the only way to wake you up." Palutena remarked

"what did you wake me up for anyway?" Pit asked "I thought today was our day off, well everyday is our day off since nothing has happened in sky world at all for almost a decade now. it has gotten really boring without any missions or battles."

"yeah seeing the underworld beat you up was entertaining and pretty funny to ." Palutena said while snickering to herself

"HEY THATS NOT FUNNY!"

"sorry but anyway I woke you up because Pittoo was so kind to make breakfast for us." another voice sounding annoyed chimed in.

"Actually i was making breakfast for myself but then your goddess walked in and made me make breakfast for you two also." this voice belonged to Pit's dark doppelganger Dark Pit who was created after pit enter a magical mirror during a fight with another goddess Pandora.

"also don't call me Pittoo ."

"Oh also when you're finished with your breakfast come meet me in the main hall i something rather to dicuss with you." Palutena told Pit. Pit jumped high into the air out of excitement.

"I wonder what's it's about I hope it's a new mission." Pit took a shower and then quickly got dressed into black bike shorts and tank top. He put a white toga over it, and finally his sandals. He ran out of his room and to the kitchen, Pit ran into the kitchen. He then scarfed down the food on the first plate he saw and then ran to the main hall to see what palutena wanted to discuss with him.

"GODDAMN IT PITSTAIN THAT WAS MY PLATE YOU DUMBASS!!!" Pittoo yelled angrily at his light counterpart.

"OH SORRY." Pit yelled back

Pit entered the main hall and saw Palutena sitting on her throne. He was wondering what she wanted to discuss, some many ideas of what she is going to tell him going through his head.

"I hope it's a mission I've been stuck in this temple for so long." Pit thought to himself. Pit has always one to enjoy going on quest and battling monsters.

"So Pit as you are aware it's been years since we have any missions or any monsters causing havoc across skyworld. So I have been putting my attention on other lands to see if there would be any problems there that could threaten their land or bring bad news and I found something rather interesting." Palutena told Pit, his heart began to beat faster than before. Pit was excited not only he might be finally going on a mission but he will get to get to visit another land, while he has technically been to other lands before through a fighting tournament they were more imitations of those places created by the creator of the tournament.

" You are going to become a guardian angel." Palutena proclaimed, Pit's excitement died down a bit.

"um palutena it's nice to finally go out on a mission and all but from what I've heard being a guardian angel isn't really a interesting or exciting job. I mean I'm not saying that I don't appreciate it or anything." Pit replied hoping that the goddess wouldn't get mad at him for sounding ungrateful.

Palutena spoke "Yes being a guardian angels isn't really a interesting job. protecting people from dangers that aren't a danger to us divine beings can get boring, but I made sure you weren't going to get bored out of mind. you see this land has all sorts of monsters and enemys, while yes we have dealt with stronger monsters it will still be fun and to top it all off you will be a guardian angel of a legendary hero who has been reincarnated for centuries so I'm sure he will have lots of enemy for you to help him fight and defeat!!"

"oh and we also we have met this person before to!" Palutena added. Pit stood there thinking who this person could be. The answer would be obvious to anybody but pit wasn't let's say the brightest person around.

"hm so this person is a legendary hero who has been getting reincarnated for centuries, me and Palutena have met this person. Who could it be? Who could it be?" Pit thought to himself Palutena notice the angel was having a hard time trying to figure out who he was going to be protecting.

"Pit you can't be serious right now the answer is so obvious!!" Palutena yelled sounding annoyed and frustrated with the angel.

"Sorry but I don't think I've every met someone like that." pit nervously said back.

" I'll give you another clue, they live in place called hyrule."

"OH Link sorry I often forget about the smash tournament, but wait why is he the one that needs a guardian angel? I may not like him all that much but I will admit He's a good fighter with his sword and he has saved hyrule plenty of times before. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense on why he needs a guardian angel." Pit stated. Pit does not like Link because of their similarities and how more popular Link is than him, he will admit Link is a skilled fighter.

"Yes that it is true about him being a strong and skilled fighter but you will find out why he needs a guardian angel when you meet him or soon after." Palutena answered

Pit asks "Well ok but when do I go over to hyrule and start help or protect Link?"

"Well after looking over previous reincarnations it seems that Ganondorf takes over hyrule a few months after Link and Zelda both turn 17 and they turned 17 about a month ago, say 2 months which will be June 23rd." Palutena exclaimed

"You should train in the mean time since it's been so long that you been in fights that aren't smash battles." she suggested

Pit agreed saying "I suppose you're right."

"Oh you should spar with Pitto." Pit nod his head then ran off to go ask Pittoo if they could spar.

Sorry for taking so long to update I wanted to make sure this chapter was longer and better written than the first one since I will admit the last one wasn't that good. I'll post another chapter this weekend any cheers and have a swell day.
