Author's note: Hi, if you are seeing this remember the following: This is my first ever fanfic. I have had plenty of original Danganronpa fanfic ideas but this one centers around V3. This is like a "What if the Gopher project was real?" scenario and also, yeah, huge spoilers for Danganronpa V3. This story is a Shuichi x Harem story that may or may not have lemon here and there eventually. Final thing: Shuichi is the only male character to make this more interesting so this is also like a "What if Shuichi was the only guy sent for the Gopher project?" story too. Again, this is my first ever fanfic so I can only hope this goes well, enjoy. :-)

Suichi woke up to bright light and extended his hand, a hand that belonged to no one. "Where am I?" was the first thing he could ask. He stumbled out of some weird pod into a bright white room. "Hello?" He asked, looking around. There were eight other pods in the room, all of them already opened. As the ultimate detective, he could easily put two and two together that despite being the only one in this room, he wasn't the only one that had been here before. He then had a chill go through his body, as he remembered one of the last things he heard. "You are our hope."
He looked around even more, before hearing a robotic male voice. "Good morning, you have been asleep for 9999 days." It said, "Who's there? Where am I?" Shuichi asked
"If you have suffered from any memory loss during your sleep, please look no further than the video playing in front of you." The robotic voice said. Shuichi noticed a screen in front of him start to play some sort of video. "Hello! I'm Usami! And it's my job to help you guide you on how to start a brand new civilization!" A pink female mascot-looking rabbit said in the video. "Chances are if you are watching this video, you have successfully found an inhabitable planet to preserve humanity! Which means the Goffer project is a success! But it doesn't end there!"
The video continued in different art styles and Usami the pink rabbit continued to explain more.
"Long ago, asteroids from all over the galaxy threatened our very way of existence on earth, and so the gopher project was made to preserve it. So we sent eight of the new and improved Hope's Peak academy female students along with one male student to repopulate a new planet and start humanity all over again! But don't worry! We'll do all the hard work for you! Our advanced exisals will build roads, buildings, and many more of your needs to help regrow a new society! All you have to do is do your best in mating and repopulating! Remember, you are humanity's hope! Our hope! Happy mating!"
It finally ended, and Shuichi didn't know what to think. A large door opened revealing a wide green and clean-looking planet with a blue sky. Walking out he knew that some buildings have already been built by those exisals. Shuichi explored as much as he could and ended up in a particular building. From the looks of it, it looked like a mansion of sorts. He entered not knowing what he would find, and inside is where he found the people he would spend the rest of his lives with. Eight girls, all looking at him.
"Oh, I'm sorry…" Shuichi said not knowing what to say. "Oh hey! Don't be shy, come in!" Kaede said, the ultimate Pianist. "Welcome, how may I serve you?" Kirumi said, the ultimate maid. "Hah! So a degenerate male HAS been here all along!" Tenko said, the ultimate aikido master said. "Should I cast him away with my magic…?" Himiko asked, the ultimate magician, joking of course. "Fear not! Atua tells me that this is the start of much happiness to come!" Angie said, the ultimate artist. "Yeah! As if a virgin like him can do any harm to hotties like us!" Miu said, the ultimate inventor. "I agree… if we need to repopulate with him, he seems nice. I hope he is…" Tsugumi said, the ultimate cosplayer. "But if he were to try anything, I'll stop it," Maki said, the ultimate assassin.
