Before leaving for my shift on Thursday morning I had the telephone on my dressing table held to my ear, listening to the dial tone as I swept mascara along my lashes. Eddie picked up on the third ring sounding sleepy and adorable, "Munson residence." I smiled into the phone and said "Hey, it's me. Do you wanna have lunch today?" I heard Eddie cough on the other end and his voice changed, now sounding totally awake, "yes, 100 Percent. I'll be ready around 1." My pulse quickened, "I'll come by the studio at 1 then. Sorry if you had plans with Dustin, I just want to hang out with you." I replied. Eddie chuckled, "Henderson will understand, I'll tell him I gotta work through lunch don't worry about it. I can't want." I blushed and felt giddy when he hung up, desperate to be in his arms again. For the entirety of the morning I felt excitable and delirious over what I planned to do this afternoon. Steve had been right last night, I needed to establish where Eddie and I stood with each other and let people know. Afterall, its not like the gang weren't going to find out tomorrow night anyway, because there's no way Eddie would be able to keep his mouth shut about it after a few drinks. "Are you high or something?" Robin asked whilst we were stacking videos on shelves. "Nah, just in a good mood, looking forward to my lunch break." I answered coyly. Robin could read me like a book when she wanted to, " Who are you meeting?" She demanded to know with a smirk. I stopped stacking and held her by the shoulders, "Don't be mad. I promise the only reason I didn't say anything is because we didn't want everyone on our backs." I began saying and Robin narrowed her eyes at me. "Eddie and I are kinda dating." I whispered.

Robin's mouth fell open and she dragged me behind the desk, crouching down So no one could see and Interrupt us. "Are you fucking kidding me! I can't believe you kept that from me, holy shit. I knew you guys would get together eventually, it's taken long enough." Robin's chaotic energy matched mine and we stayed hidden behind the desk as I quickly filled her in on everything that had happened between me and Eddie since I found him in the woods after Linda's Party. "Have you... y'know" Robin winked at me and I suddenly felt my face fall. "No. I'm glad we didn't just sleep together that night or after the last two dates, it's nice to know he isn't just looking for that." I wasn't lying when I told Robin I was glad we hadn't rushed into sleeping together yet, but I hadn't told her the full truth either, which was that I was scared of letting Eddie see or touch all of me. Robin could tell exactly what I was thinking though, "Rain, I'm like 1000 Percent Sure that Eddie Munson wants to see you naked, he's already dreamed about it. Seriously though, I don't think he's the type to be Put off by a few Scars." Robin held My face in her hands. I'd fantasised about sex with Eddie a lot, but in My fantasies My body didn't bear the scars from Billy. After the incident people treated me like a ticking time bomb, totally avoiding me, except for my friends and family. I went through a rough time though feeling so isolated and like people were constantly waiting for me to implode.

I started driving out of town, sleeping either in my car after hooking up with someone, or sleeping in a stranger's bed. The sex meant nothing to me and hardly ever even made me climax, but I needed to feel wanted by someone, anyone. Every time though, there was the awkward situation of them feeling my scars underneath my shirt and getting grossed out. Or begging me to take the shirt off, thinking I was just being modest about my body, only to visibly retch when they saw what was beneath. I didn't want any of that to happen with Eddie, but Robin kinda had a point, Eddie wasn't a judgemental guy. My wristwatch beeped at 12:50, and I pulled Robin up with me, hugging her briefly. "Have you guys literally been hiding behind the damn desk whilst I've been busting my ass off over here?" Steve shouted over and we laughed. "Go get your man, dude." Robin clapped me on the shoulder as I moved round the desk.
