*Rain's POV*
"Higher Rain, come on, you can push harder than that!" Robin shouted, I took hold of the chains of the swing set and did a running push, shooting her into the air. Robin screamed and jumped out of the swing, landing next to me on the grass. "Oh my god I think I'm gonna puke!" She squealed before we ran back for my turn. I soared through the air when she pushed me - the velocity of swinging back making my head spin. I closed my eyes to stop the world spinning. "Rain, Rain...Raiiiiiiinn" Not Robins voice? "Hey, wake up, I'm making eggs, you want some?" I deeply inhaled, the smell of leather and pine floating into my nostrils, Eddie's scent. I opened my eyes with a smile to find him leaning over me with a dorky grin. God he looked adorable in the mornings. "Eggs sound good" I said and kissed his nose. Eddie laid his head against mine and asked, "how did you sleep?" I rubbed his cheek with my thumb, and beamed at him, "Actually really well - I had a good dream about when Robin and I were kids and spent the whole day at the park, trying to do a 360 on the swings. Can't remember the last time I had a nice dream." Eddie rolled onto his side facing me and taking my hand in his, "I'm glad you got a good sleep, I did too, best I've had in a long time." He laughed, kissing my hand. We stayed like that, just looking at each other for a few moments before Eddie rolled off the bed, throwing on a black shirt then heading to the kitchen.
I laid in Eddie's bed for a while longer as he made us breakfast, twisting myself in the sheets and grinning uncontrollably. I'd never woken up and been made breakfast before after sleeping with someone - ever. Eddie was just so different to every person I'd ever dated. Or was everyone I'd ever dated just wrong for me or a piece of shit? Probably the latter. I couldn't stop thinking about how amazing last night had been, making love to Eddie and watching him come completely undone underneath me as he came...Like I've said before, I could see myself falling for this man, hard and fast. The smell of coffee beckoned me out of bed, as I was about to leave Eddie's room I caught a whiff of myself, damn I need deodorant. My bag was sitting on the bedside table - I turned it upside down letting my clothes, underwear, toothbrush, hair brush, and deodorant tumble out when something else fell onto Eddie's bed. A small white box. "The hell is that?" I mumbled to myself. Picking it up I saw it was the emergency pill - how had that gotten in there? I didn't even have any of those? When I opened the box a small note floated onto the floor. "Thought you might be needing this, don't ask why I had it - N" Nancy had put this in there? Nancy had the emergency pill - took it with her last night - Nancy was going to bone Steve!?
"Breakfast is ready!" Eddie shouted, breaking me from my stunned stance. I shoved everything back into the bag and wandered into the kitchen where Eddie was jamming along to Black Sabbath, dipping toast into his eggs. When he saw me coming he immediately held out the coffee, and I gratefully accepted it. "This is really good - didn't have you down as someone who could cook" I joked and winked at him as I shovelled eggs and toast into my mouth. Eddie faked an offended expression, "How dare you Rain Wheeler - I'm an eggcellent cook. Get it? Egg-Cellent!" Eddie slapped the counter top laughing at his own stupid pun. All I could do was shake my head and smile at his dorkyness. Watching him finish his breakfast I had a sudden thought, "Don't you have Hellfire tomorrow?" I asked. Eddie placed our dishes in the sink as he replied, "Mike's campaign is cool I'll give him that, but given the choice between that and spending the weekend with you...it's a no brainer." Eddie's words lit a warm fire in my stomach, but I didn't want him missing out on Hellfire because of me, "How about we both go - I'll hang out with Nancy whilst you do your thing." I suggested and Eddie grinned. "So what do you wanna do today?" he asked. I thought for a second, "teach me something on the guitar - like you promised." I reminded him and his mouth twitched up at the corners, "Sure thing, you'll be burying Slash in no time" he joked. "I really need to shower first though" I added. Eddie nodded, walking to the bathroom and slamming on the shower. I heard a few spurts of water and groaning pipes, as I stepped into the bathroom Eddie tapped the wall and sheepishly said, "Sorry, it's a little tempermental sometimes. Once you're done leave it on, I need one too."He leaned in to kiss my forehead and leave the room, but I reached up on my tiptoes and pulled his lips to mine, pressing him against the wall. Eddie stood there looking dazed, watching me intently as I peeled off my pjs. I wanted him again, right now. "Why don't we save the water and shower together?" I whispered seductively, brushing my lips to his. Eddie needed no further encouragement, kicking off his clothes and circling me in his arms. "I like the way you think, let's save the planet." He replied equally as seductively.
