Next day, around 3pm, mata shi was at work, working the cash register and helping customers.
"Thank you come again"
He says as he cash's people out, he looks ahead at the entrance, only to see Sayaka come in and wave at him.
He waved back at her and she approached him at the front counter.
Sayaka: hiya mata-kun, glad to see you again.
"Same here you've returned to my job again, well you were here yesterday actually, but anyways how are you today?"
Sayaka: it's good hanged out with my friend makoto, talked about old stuff and all, how about you~
She said and looked him in the eyes.
"My day has been going, I guess just working, but glad you came."
Sayaka smiled brightly at him.
Sayaka: That's all? Wanna hangout?
"Of course, we should definitely go to this karaoke place that's near here. I go they're at times to sing baka mitai."
(DAME DAME!)
Sayaka: karaoke sounds fun~
"Yes indeed, since you like singing, i feel like this would be perfect, i can sing also, but depends on the song"
He explained.
"I'm getting off early today, literally in an hour, wanna just hang here for a bit, like talk and all"
Sayaka giggled and nodded to him.
Sayaka: sure.
She said and looked around at the store.
Sayaka: There are a lot of neat things in her, you must enjoy working with her.
"I do from time to time, sometimes it's busy or dead like right now"
He explained to her and she listened to what he was saying.
hour later*
Mata shi clocks out and climbs over the counter casually, which made maizono giggle.
Sayaka: ready.
"Yep already clocked out, time for karaoke and fun"
Sayaka: nice of you to invite me to karaoke mata-kun~
she smiled brightly at him.
"Well i can be nice at times, but also bad as well"
Sayaka: bad?
"Yes i can be bad at times sayaka~"
He winked and gave her a playful smile.
"Ok lets go now" he said and went back to having his usual deadpan expression and took her hand and led her outside and the two began to walk.
Meanwhile Sayaka was blushing, due to what mata shi said about being bad.
sayaka thoughts: he is nice and all, but that smile he gave me was actually cute, maybe even more, what if we were alone somewhere?*
mata shi thoughts: lost soul knows no bounds, yet you take interest in me….. i will allow this*
Sayaka: of course you will allow a bright soul like me to take interest in you~
She said, then giggled as he led her to the karaoke place.
"Here we are." Mata shi said he led her inside, once they got inside, people began to stare at the two.
mata shi thoughts: ya hollower fools…*
Sayaka pulled him to the counter and talked to the person there.
Sayaka: Ok, we don't have to pay.
"...eh oh that's great" mata was actually gonna pay, but it seems that sayaka already covered it.
Sayaka: Let's pick a song to sing.
She said to him and he let go of her hand and went to the guest laptop, only to pick a song, plus the two mics for them.
"Ok ready sayaka, this song is from a game, you do female vocals and I'll do the male vocals " he explained to her.
Sayaka: song is called musical chairs.
"Yea forgot you can read my mind or maybe even just guessing, Hmmm……"
He said and the two headed up to the stage and were in front of a small crowd.
"Hello everyone i am mata shi a proclaimed future writer, looking to make a unique story."
Sayaka: and I am Sayaka Maizono, the ultimate idol.

She smiled at the male and mata shi shrugged.
"Well it depends on the song, plus the song I chose slaps harder than Will S-nevermind too soon to make that reference, but that was fun, you did great yourself sweetheart."
Sayaka's eyes widened and blushed with his words, especially when he called her sweetheart, meanwhile mata shi realized he said sweetheart to her.
mata shi thoughts: huh i called her sweetheart, it's not a big deal, plus she is blushing and shit on a shingle in the words of kaine from nier she hears me…*
Sayaka: umm….
"Yes?"
Sayaka: well…. I'm ok with you calling me that.
She said and looked away from him, as he stared at her.
"Wanna get something to eat? It's up to you sayaka"
Sayaka: oh sure, i really had so much fun~
She said in a very cheerful manner to him.
"Ok let us be off saya" he takes her hand and decides to lead her outside.
"Today was fun, especially with you that is" he said and Sayaka looked up at him.
Sayaka: oh i really did enjoy this, especially with you~
She said in a playful tone and blushed madly, then the two finally made it to a fast food place, but outside of it a group of guys stared at them.
Guy 1: oi its sayaka maizono! Sup girl.
Guy 2: damn girl you look cute as hell up close~ who's he?
Guy 3: probably some simp of a fan, maizono ya need a real man.
Sayaka felt a little uncomfortable by the guys and mata sighs and walks in front of her.
"I'm just a friend, also can you stop saying stuff to rude things to her"
mata shi: thoughts: hopefully i don't kick they're shit in, need to refrain from being a sadist…*
Guy 1: all i said was sup
Guy 2: I was just complimenting, so called

Guy 3: Oh you're mad cause i said your not a man.
The 3rd guy puts his hand on mata shi's shoulder.
Guy 3: why not leave miss idol here with us, we got a special little photoshoot for her.
Without no hesitation mata shi punched the male square in the face, knocking him out completely.
"Sigh…… such petulance i suppose trying to reason with you guys isn't gonna work…"
Sayaka backed up a bit and the other two guys had a horrified look on they're faces, seeing mata shi gave them a sadistic grin.
Sayaka: mata shi….
Mata immediately looks at her and goes back to his usual blank expression.
"Hm?" One of the guys pulled out a switchblade and tried to slash at him, but mata shi looks back at the male and grabs his arm and stares him dead in his eyes.
Guy 2: oh shit this guy is c-
Mata shi kicks the male hard in his stomach and lets go of his arm.
Guy 2: ow…
The male held his stomach in pain.
Guy 1: um….
The guy runs away and mata shi looks back at sayaka.
"I'm sorry if that was too violent, let's go in and eat, take our minds off of this"
Sayaka: No, you're fine, are you ok.
"Yes I'm well not dead or anything, your well being is what i care for more"
Sayaka: I'm ok now lets go and get something to eat~
Sayaka: takes his hand and leads him inside of the fast food place and to the front counter.
"Again I apologize…. That was dumb as fuck for them to be rude like that, plus me dishing out pain, but then again, the thing that triggered it first was him calling me a white knight when im clearly the great knight atorias from dark souls, but overall i sh-"
Sayaka pecked mata shi cheek and smiled.
Sayaka: don't worry about it mata-kun, they deserve it, that photoshoot thing, that one guy said-
Mata shi kissed her cheek and then turned to the cashier, only to start ordering for the two.
Sayaka smiled.
