Jasmine was in shock at the news… why would Lila steal those two items? It simply made no sense to her at all, not only that but how did she know about them to begin with? She had so many questions and no answers at all, she called Gabriel to see how he was at that moment, the man was angry and upset at Lila for stealing those items from him… she offered to come by but he said that he would visit soon instead and then said he had work making them hang up, she still wished she could have helped in all of this but what could she do? She wasn't a hero with a miraculous or anything.
So all she could really do… is wait and give her support to others when she can, so with that she texted Adrien to see if he wanted to come over after school, he quickly responded that he needed to go see if Lila did something to his room first but promised to come after looking, she really hoped that Lila hadn't gone in there and done anything… her friend didn't deserve anything like Lila did to her, so she hoped that everything was alright, a while later, her sisters with her friends came in… Felix was coming later as he was with Adrien which made Jasmine worry even more then before as they waited for the two boy's to come in, Jasmine then decided to tell Mari about Hatter Blanc and ask for her to make a plushie for her.
The designer like always was more then happy and pulled out her sketchbook of the plushie designs and personal miraculous team merch she made for Jasmine that always made her happy, each time Jasmine spoke about the heroes it made her happy, as a result she and the others visit her during patrol… with a contest to see who can guess the plushie she was sleeping with that night, so far Queen Bee and Ryuko are tied which is scary since the dragon miraculous hasn't been long enough… but maybe her holder knew Jasmine behind the mask? It was a theory for another time to uncover… for now she was Marinette who was Jasmine's friend.
Adrien and Felix walk in a while later, sadly Adrien looked sick as he lays on Jasmine's bed with everyone looking worried for him as Felix sits down with them, it turns out that Lila had snuck in to steal the two items and then went to Adrien's room to escape… but not before wearing some of his clothes, getting into his bed and doing… other things in there before leaving in a rush, Gabriel decided that Adrien should stay with the Bourgeois family until Lila is caught which made him quickly agree and got going to the hotel, he didn't pack anything as he didn't know what Lila didn't touch so Chloe sent someone to buy him what he needs.
Once that was in the works Adrien was settled in a room the worker returned with everything requested by Chloe for Adrien, Felix stays with them for a while longer before leaving with the promise of coming back tomorrow to walk with them to school, the friends left for home after that as Jasmine turned to the door while worrying about Adrien… it was hard for her as she couldn't do much to help, she sighed as she wondered about Lila next… what was her motive and plan? She already knew the motive… getting back at her for ruining her life but the plan? Not that part she didn't know right now.
So all she could do right now is wait and see, Chloe felt bad for her sister… to be honest she wanted to give her a miraculous but… the two that were selected don't work for her… it would need to be a different miraculous to be honest, she then turned to her half sister Zoe who was fiddling with the ring of her icy blue panjas bracelet, Zoe claimed that she saw it at a thrift store and bought it… but what she didn't know is that Nino had selected Zoe to wield the tiger miraculous, for now Zoe plans to wait until the next akuma before revealing herself which was accepted by the guardian and the others… but what they worried about was Lila and what she planned to do next.
They felt like sitting ducks right now, none of them even knew where to start looking for Lila, the apartment was cleaned out and sold to a lovely couple expecting there first child so she couldn't be there and everyone knew to call if they see her… so where could she be? Well… turns out they only needed to wait because she revealed herself with the missing peacock miraculous, she was calling herself Regina Pavone… which meant queen peacock in Italian which didn't surprise them at all, she wanted to rule everyone with her tricks and lies and be seen like a queen… so why not call herself one with a stolen miraculous?
It made them sick as then a tiger themed hero came to join them "Hi guys! Guardian said I was selected for the tiger miraculous so call me Tigress please" Tigress explained making them all nod "Welcome to the team then Tigress, right now we all know that Lila is after Jasmine… so some of us need to go and protect her until Lila reveals her true plan" Cat Noir explained making them all nod, Carapace and Hatter Blanc went together to protect Jasmine… there powers were perfect there and would be able to contact Viperion if anything bad were to happen and needed second chance to be used.
Jasmine was terrified, she was watching the news in her room with Carapace and Hatter Blanc there to protect her "So… Lila has the peacock miraculous… that was missing and she obviously stole it from the one who found it?" She asked making Carapace nod his head as he watched the fight with her, they didn't like the fact that Lila could make sentimonsters in the first place… but they needed to defeat her and get the miraculous back no matter what "That's right Jasmine, for now we don't know what her plan is other then you… so we need to keep you safe" Hatter Blanc explained.
She nodded to his words as they watched Lila call back her creation while coughing, Jasmine found it odd "Is she… sick?" she asked making the two heroes look at one another with the plan to ask the others about it, it was odd though for her to come out and fight when she was unwell at the time… so why did she in the first place? After making sure Jasmine was safe, they left to meet with the others at the Eiffel Tower to talk "Jasmine noticed her coughing" Carapace said making Ladybug nod "I spoke with the guardian. He claims since they did fall out of the box together with the book… there might have been a chance that one of them was damaged from the fall" she explained, they all nodded to her words as they began to talk about there plan when Lila comes back to fight.
Meanwhile… somewhere in the sewers…
"Damn it! What the fuck happened to me?!" Lila shouted in anger as she slammed her fist into the sewer tunnel wall, Duusu was watching her holder getting angry before turning to the peacock kwami with rage in her eyes "Why am I sick all of a sudden?! I was fine before I transformed and then all of a sudden, I'm sick?! Tell me now!" she ordered making the kwami unable to refuse "My miraculous is damaged… you are sick because of the drawback from using my damaged miraculous but… you can recover by fixing it" Duusu explained making Lila scream as she looked into the old book she stole with the brooch.
She will translate this book and get this miraculous fixed to then get her wish… one way or another…
