"Oh Tikki, I promise you that you will not lose us as you lost them." Marinette told her while nuzzling her to her cheek.
" And Plagg, why didn't you ever tell me any of this."
"Eh, I never thought it was pertinent information," Plagg said while stuffing his face with more cheese tears welled at the corners of his eyes. Adrien just shook his head in response and handed Plagg more cheese.
" Well m'lady, Phephe said that tonight we need to work on our trust tonight. Why don't we go out while the evening is still young" Adrien asked while offering his hand to her.
" Sure mon chaton, but first we need to finish our coco-hot. Urgh, I mean hot coco" Marinette said a furious blush spreading across her face.
Adrien chuckled in response "Would you like to go ice skating?"
"That sounds nice. Ice skating may be a good environment to get over my clumsiness."
Marinette and Adrien wandered the streets stumbling over their words while still trying to make sense of the situation. In their anxiety and love-stricken haze, they forgot to tell their friends that Marinette was safe and no longer abducted by a strange woman.
"Marinette!" Luka screamed a terrible blood-curdling scream. He ran towards her grabbed her from Adrien's grasp and hugged her tight; lifting her high into the air. A fit of jealousy welled in Adrien's chest as he saw Luka holding Marinette tightly. "I thought we lost you! Everyone thought you were abducted!" Luka sobbed through guttural tears that were making him woozy. "And you." Luka said coldly while pointing at Adrien. "You knew we thought she was kidnapped. You know how panicked everyone has been how could you not tell us she was safe."
"I-I I'm sorry. I was so relieved when I found Marinette I forgot to let you guys know." Adrien said while rubbing the back of his looking sheepish.
"Well, all that matters is that Marinette is safe. Marinette you should call your parents they've been searching the streets for you. I'll call Alya."
