In the base at Panama, Rahul and Iris are in another room strapped to metal chairs, bound by metal on their arms and legs. They are both wearing their Road Rovers uniforms.
Rahul: All of this is my fault.
Iris looks at Rahul, concerned.
Iris: What makes you say that?
Rahul looks at Iris.
Rahul: I'm the one who suggested we go down to that crater. We got turned into cano-sapiens because I wanted to have a money-making opportunity. We learned how to control our powers and, aside from you, knew that we were ready to be Road Rovers. And look where it's gotten us. Mr. Parker hasn't come yet and we are on our way to certain death. It's all my fault why we're here.
Rahul looks down and sighs.
Iris: Hey, Rahul.
Raul looks at Iris.
Iris: I'm not afraid to die. I know where I'm going after my time is over.
Rahul: You know I don't believe in that stuff.
Iris: Well, nobody's perfect.
Rahul looks around the room and then back to Iris.
Rahul: There's been something I wanted to tell you for a while.
Iris: Yeah?
Rahul looks at Iris' blue eyes, starting to feel a gravity he's been feeling for a long time.
Rahul: If we do die, I want you to know something.
Iris nods, wanting to hear what Rahul has to say.
Rahul: I love you.
Iris is touched by this. She too has been feeling the same gravity for a long time. Iris nods.
Iris: Somehow, I knew.
Rahul: I have always loved you ever since we first met in the 7th grade. I tried to express my feelings to you, but I could never find the right time to. When you were sick in the hospital because of my smoking around you, I would sneak into your room while you were sleeping and hold your hand. I knew right then and there for the first time that you are the person I want to love for as long as I live.
Iris smiles for she feels the same way about Rahul.
Rahul: So, does that mean-
Iris: Yes, Rahul. I love you too.
Rahul smiles too.
Rahul: If only I had the power within me to get out of this-
Just then a door opens and out comes Zio. He walks in and faces the two.
Rahul: What now? You have been keeping us for four days and barely fed us. How much torture do you have to put us through?
Zio looks at Rahul and speaks in a distorted voice.
Zio: Enough to keep you alive. It has come to my attention that your leader, Max Thomas Parker, has not arrived. So, I feel the need to get rid of the weakest out of the herd. The runt of the litter.
Iris looks down, making Zio look at her.
Zio: Starting with her.
Iris looks back up and her eyes widen.
Zio: Iris has doubts she can be a Road Rover. She hasn't laid a single punch on anyone. And because of that, she is the weakest out of the team. I know just a way to get rid of her.
Zio whistles with his fingers and two cano-sapiens come out, one a Great Dane male and the other a female Rottweiler, carrying a large black garbage bin filled to the top with water. This causes Iris to panic.
Iris: Hey, Zio, you don't have to do this! I can fight! Honestly, let me out of this and I can fight those two goons!
The cano-sapiens blankly stare at her. Zio goes to the back of the chair and tinkers with it to remove the restraints on her arms and legs.
Zio: I'm sure you would, Iris. But you would run out of this room because you don't have it in you to defend yourself. And I don't blame you. You have every right to do so.
The restraints come off and the two cano-sapiens grab her, making her struggle to break free.
Iris: ZIO! NO! NO!
Rahul struggles and tries with all of his might to break free, but to no avail. The cano-sapiens drag her to the bin.
Rahul: ZIO! WAIT UNTIL I GET OUT OF THIS!
Zio looks at Rahul.
Zio: I just want to let you know Rahul that this isn't personal. It's just business.
Zio looks at the cano-sapiens.
Zio: On my mark.
The two cano-sapiens grab Iris by the neck and prepare to dump her head in the water. Iris starts to breathe in and out through her mouth, hoping to stay underwater for longer, like she used to do back in high school as a varsity swimmer. A few moments pass.
Zio: Ready?
The cano-sapiens nod. Iris quickly looks at Rahul.
Iris: SAVE THE WORLD, RAHUL!
Zio: NOW!
The cano-sapiens dump her head into the bin and hold her there. Iris can feel the cold water as she struggles to hold her breath. After 30 seconds, it starts to get difficult to keep her holding on. She struggles as she lifts her arms to stop the cano-sapiens, only for them to dump her more in the water up to her chest and they hold her by holding onto her legs. Iris knows she is going to die. She opens her mouth, causing her to start taking a breath in the water. She opens her eyes and widens for a brief moment. She had found her secondary power. Knowing she can now live through this, she acts as if she is still struggling. After a minute, Iris stops struggling and eventually stops moving. The cano-sapiens still hold her legs to make sure she is dead. After twenty seconds, they pull her out of the bin to see Iris' eyes open and not moving, as if time stopped for her. Zio looks at her and does see that her eyes are not moving.
Zio: Good work, you two. Now, get rid of her body.
The two cano-sapiens nod as they put her body back in the bin and start carrying the bin out of the room. Rahul just stares in shock at what he just witnessed. Rahul looks at Zio.
Rahul: You're a murderer.
Zio looks at Rahul.
Zio: So was your leader, Max. In this very same building, he killed twenty-seven people, including Professor Eugene Atwater. What passed onto his father was passing into him.
Rahul frowns.
Rahul: That was different. Unlike you, he figured out how to still be a good person.
Zio walks away from Rahul.
Zio: The world will look up to me that way when my plan falls through.
Zio walks out of the room, leaving a shocked and teary-eyed forming Rahul.
Rahul: Don't worry, Iris. I will find a way out of here and save the world.
The two cano-sapiens have been carrying the bin for ten minutes. They arrive in a room with a draining hole in the middle of it. The Great Dane kicks the bin, dumping Iris and the water, which starts going into the draining hole.
Great Dane: Alright, let's strip her and take her to the incinerator.
The Rottweiler nods as she starts to remove the gloves and the Great Dane removes the boots. As she goes to pull the right arm sleeve, she feels a movement in her wrist.
Rottweiler: What the?
The Great Dane looks at the Rottweiler.
Great Dane: What is it?
The Rottweiler looks at the Great Dane confused.
Rottweiler: She has a pulse.
The Great Dane gets confused like the Rottweiler.
Great Dane: If she's dead, she shouldn't be having a pulse.
Iris finds the energy within herself to instantly transform into her cano-sapien form. She kicks the Great Dane's head with her foot and punches the Rottweiler's face. The two cano-sapiens get up from the hits they took and are stunned to be seeing a cano-sapien of a yellow Hällefors Elkhound. Iris starts smirking.
Iris: What's the matter? Afraid to fight a girl who can hold her breath longer than you two?
The two look at each other and then back to Iris. They frown and run to Iris, who lets water as strong as a fire hose coming out of her hands, causing the two to fall to the ground due to how powerful the water is. Iris then does a beating to the two, delivering punches and kicks to them. After they fall to the ground unconscious, Iris feels something in her chest, almost as if something decided to light a fireplace in her soul. She smiles, proud of what she was able to do.
Iris: Whoo! That felt invigorating!
Iris, after putting on her gloves and boots, leaves the room and goes back to the room she and Rahul were held in. She makes sure she doesn't get caught by any passing cano-sapien or cano-mutant. Eventually, she reaches the room, and Rahul is shocked and surprised to be seeing a girl he has just seen drowned.
Rahul: Iris? How are you still alive?
Iris smiles.
Iris: I found my moment.
Rahul: Oh, you can breathe underwater.
Iris nods as she goes to the back of the chair.
Iris: Alright, let's see if I can get you out of this chair. I'm kind of a science geek, so I don't think it will take me long.
Iris tinkers around with the controls in the back and sure enough, she's able to get the metal restraints off. Rahul gets out of the seat.
Iris: Told you.
Rahul quickly goes to Iris and kisses her. Iris, though a bit surprised, quickly returns it with another kiss. The two give each other smooches. Rahul quickly realizes what they are doing and he stops.
Rahul: Um, Iris, how about we save that until we stop Zio's plan?
Iris nods.
Iris: Sure, babe. Let's try and get our friends back together, then we'll stop Zio.
Rahul nods and the two leave the room to go get their friends. In another part of the base, Ali and Patricia are each strapped to a metal chair, both wearing their Road Rovers uniforms.
Patricia: Ali.
Ali looks at Patricia.
Ali: Yeah?
Patricia: We know what Zio up to. We have stop him.
Ali nods.
Ali: I'm all fo' that. I jozt aven't got the co'age to get out of this seat. I figa'd Mr. Pawka' would come to save us.
Patricia: Well, it looks we have to do ourselves. I know you melt metal on chair.
Ali looks at the chair.
Ali: Well, a' goes nothing.
Ali finds the energy within himself to start heating the metal. Only a small piece of it melts.
Ali: I'm going to ave to ta'n into a cano-sapien in o'da' to get out of this chae'.
Ali transforms into his Boerboel cano-sapien form. He is able to melt the metal restraints off his arms with his fingers. Afterward, he does the same to his leg restraints. Getting out of the seat, he smiles as he goes to Patricia to get her out of the seat.
Ali: I wish I ad this supa'powa' the moment I got in igh school!
Patricia: More like you wish you back high school.
Ali is able to get melt Patricia's hand and leg restraints within minutes. The two get out of the room. They see a male Newfoundland cano-sapien and a female Bulldog coming down the hall. Ali and Patricia hide in the dark corner of the hallway. The two goons walk into the room Ali and Patricia were held in and are surprised.
Newfoundland: What the? They're gone!
The Bulldog growls.
Newfoundland: Zio needs them! Come here!
They walk back out to the hall, as this happens, Patricia quietly sneaks up to the two.
Newfoundland: You go this way and find them! I'll go that way! Hurry!
The Bulldog growls in compliance as she runs down the right hallway. As the Newfoundland moves, Patricia uses her electricity powers on the Newfoundland's neck, knocking him out unconscious. Patricia kneels down as Ali gets out of the darkness.
Ali: I sa' ope that didn't kill im.
Patricia smiles as she turns into her Brazillian Terrier cano-sapien form.
Patricia: No worry, Ali. He'll be fine.
Patricia grabs the Newfoundland arm and turns into an exact copy of the Newfoundland, even wearing the Newfoundland's armored uniform. Patricia speaks and sounds like the Newfoundland cano-sapien.
Patricia: Hey, Ali. Give me your hands.
Patricia grabs cuffs from the Newfoundland's holster and places them on Ali's hands.
Ali: What's my cwime, se'?
Patricia: Evading.
Patricia looks at Ali as she pulls out a blaster from the Newfoundland's holster and starts walking with Ali and has a blaster pointed at his head. Within a few minutes of walking, they bump into the female Bulldog.
Patricia: Ah, you're back. I found one of them.
The Bulldog looks at Ali and then back to the Newfoundland, who sternly looks at the Bulldog.
Patricia: What are you still doing here? Look for the other one!
The Bulldog growls in compliance and runs to look for Patricia, unaware that the Newfoundland was Patricia. The two continue walking. In another part of the base, Ali and Patricia are each strapped to a metal chair, both wearing their Road Rovers uniforms.
Liam: Well, I'm bawred. Let's go save the wawrld.
Liam turns into his Austrlian Kelpie cano-sapien form and extends his claws to cut through his arm restraints. Once he's done with the arm restraints, he cuts through the leg restraints. Jasmine just looks at Liam, confused.
Jasmine: You do realize you could have done that at any point?
Liam smiles as he cuts through Jasmine's arm and leg restraints.
Liam: I just waited fawr the right moment.
Once Jasmine's restraints have been cut off, she turns into her Canaan Dog cano-sapien form, and the two walk out of the room. Chris and Claire are still in their room. They have closed their eyes to look around the base.
Chris: Well, sis, I don't see anything that interests me.
Claire can see their friends escaping from their chairs.
Claire: They're escaping.
Chris: Yes, I can see them too.
Claire sees Patricia knocking out the Newfoundland and shapeshifting into him.
Claire: Patricia is in disguise. I get a feeling they're ready to stop Otitis.
Chris uses his psychokinesis removes his arm and leg restraints and gets out of the chair.
Chris: So am I.
Claire smiles as she too uses her psychokinesis powers to get out of the chair.
Claire: Count me in there.
Chris and Claire leave the room. After walking for a few minutes, they find Liam, Jasmine, Iris, and Rahul.
Chris: Hey! You guys made it out!
The four smile and run to Chris and Claire.
Liam: I am so ready ta shred some bad guys!
Jasmine: So am I. Albeit, using one of Allah's creations against them.
Iris: I'm ready to give them a beating.
Rahul: And I'll be joining you on that, babe.
The two kiss each other, surprising the remaining four. Chris clears his throat.
Chris: Anyway, let's find where Otitis is.
Iris: Otitis?
Claire: To make a long story short, Zio's real name is Dr. Jeffery Otitis. He was Shepherd's former working partner, he joined sides with Parvo, he spent twenty-four years in prison for the bombing of Shepherd's laboratory and now he's back to finish what our grandfather started.
The four nod.
Liam: Well, wat ahah we standin' heah fawr? Let's go kick some butt.
Jasmine smiles.
Jasmine: I'm with him.
Chris: We all are.
The four leave to go find Zio. In another part of the base, Zio is standing in the center of a huge room with a bunch of cano-sapiens sitting in chairs, tinkering with a row of electronics. There is a huge screen on the wall now showing static. A door opens and out comes a Newfoundland and a Boerboel in handcuffs. Zio is unaware that the Newfoundland is actually Patricia in disguise.
Patricia: Sir! I found one of the kids trying to escape!
Zio looks at the two.
Zio: Good work.
Patricia kicks Ali on his legs and points a blaster at his head.
Patricia: Shall I eliminate him?
Zio looks at Ali and then back to the Newfoundland.
Zio: That won't be necessary. I want him to be the first person to see our new world.
Patricia nods and puts the bolster in her holster.
Zio: In fact, our new world will be starting right now.
In Washington DC, a huge robot, the same robot that was first encountered in Salt Lake City, is deployed via a helicopter. The cano-sapiens in the office chairs tinker to get the robot's system online, which didn't take long. The robot's bright green eyes turn on and it starts charging its high-powered missile launcher. The people are already running for their lives as the robot makes a metallic laughing sound. Once it's charged, the cannon fires, landing its missiles on the ground and buildings. The robot continues to shoot its way, destroying anything it can on sight. The robot continues walking. Zio chuckles a bit seeing the destruction from where's standing.
Zio: It's beautiful. Oh, Parvo, if only you were here to witness it.
WHAM! Bursting through the door are two German Shepherds, an Australian Kelpie, a Canaan Dog, an Indian Pariah Dog, and a Hällefors Elkhound, all getting into a fighting stance.
Chris: Otitis, your reign of terror ends here!
Zio looks at the six and starts laughing.
Zio: You Road Rovers never tire of wanting to give up. Too bad these people here aren't just technicians. ATTACK!
The cano-sapiens get off their chairs and go after the six, who attack them with their combat and their powers. Chris and Claire use their psychokinesis on their opponents. Liam claws his opponents, injuring them. Jasmine uses her weather manipulation on her opponents. Rahul grabs a couple of enemies and runs up the wall, throwing them to the ground. Iris has water as strong as a fire hose coming out of her hands to fight her opponents. As this is going on, Ali lights his hands on fire, melting the handcuff off. The Newfoundland gets into a fight with Ali, who quickly ends it with a single punch to his face. Ali goes and joins the six's fight. The Newfoundland gets up and quietly looks around the room to stop the robot's destruction in Washington DC. Soon, the cano-sapiens have been defeated by the Road Rovers. The Rovers surround Zio.
Claire: As my brother said, your reign of terror ends here.
Zio chuckles to himself.
Zio: You don't want to fight me. I experimented on myself to see what it's like to have powers like yourselves.
Liam: That doesn't mean we'ah not garn ta try 'n stop ya.
Zio starts to walk back to one of the chairs. At the same time, the robot has stopped and aimed its high-powered cannon at the White House, causing the seven to have their eyes widen.
Zio: The President of the United States and all of the occupants of the White House will be the first victims to fall. Then it will be the Capitol Building. After that, it will be the entirety of Washington DC to fall to the ground.
The robot starts charging its cannon.
Zio: After Washington DC, it will be the whole country and within a month, the whole world. It may take time, but once the world is in my hands, people will soon look up to me as a god who prematurely started Judgment Day. And Rovers, I will be sure that no one will stop me from achieving Parvo's dream.
Just then, the robot starts making a metallic scream as it blows up. Zio looks at the screen and is shocked. Zio looks at the Rovers.
Zio: How did you...?
A throat is cleared. Zio looks and sees the Newfoundland pressing a button labeled 'Emergency Shutdown'. The Newfoundland's voice changes into a Brazilian feminine voice as she turns back into her Brazillian Terrier form.
Patricia: You know, you villains never learn. If you want to take world, don't have buttons laying around.
Patricia joins the seven's group. Zio looks down and sighs.
Zio: It's okay. I can always rebuild.
Zio pulls out a signaling device and presses its button.
Woman on PA: WARNING! Self-destruct system has been activated! Evacuate the building immediately. Self-destruct will begin in twenty minutes. Get to the docking area to evacuate.
The Rovers look at Zio who removes his hood and his mask.
Jeffery: Ten minutes is all I can spare.
Jeffery looks up at the Rovers as he removes his cape.
Jeffery: Let me ask you all something. Do you really think you can defeat me?
The Rovers get into a fighting stance.
Chris: You bet on that Otitis.
Claire: Yeah, we're the Road Rovers.
Iris: The Road Rovers never gave up on saving the world.
Patricia: They were always willing to fight, no matter cost.
Rahul: And we're going to prove to the world today that the Road Rovers will always be here to save the world.
Liam: Ya can hurt us in any way ya so wish.
Ali: But we jozt want you to know one thing.
Jasmine: We're not going stop until we're dead.
Jeffery grins.
Jeffery: Well, then, I'm just going to have to kill you kids quickly.
Jeffery superhuman sprints towards them, catching the kids off guard. Jeffery lands hits on Chris and Claire, sending them sliding on the floor. Liam extends his claws and is able to land them on Jeffery, who winces from the cuts Liam gave him. The two get into a small fight, ending with Jeffery teleporting and when he reappears, he kicks Liam's head. Iris uses her water powers against him. Jeffery, Iris, and Rahul get into a small fight, landing hits on each other. Jeffery roundhouse kicks them both. Patricia forms electricity in her hands and shoots bolts at Jeffery, stunning him. Patricia is able to land a few hits, before Jeffery flip kicks Patricia. Ali uses his fire powers on Jeffery. Despite his armor is covered in fire, Jeffery rushes toward Ali and throws him to the ground. Jasmine comes in and hits Jeffery with a bunch of hailstones, each hitting Jeffery's face. Jeffery teleports and reappears to do a series of punches to Jasmine's head. Chris and Claire get up and each uses their psychokineses on him to throw him across the room, hitting walls, the rows of electronics, and the ground. Jeffery, though a bit weaken from the fight he took is able to get up and use his powers against them to freeze in place. As their eyes widen at the fact they can't move, Jeffery does a series of landing punches and kicks to them, which went on for over a minute. He unfreezes their place and they fall to the ground weaken from the beating they took.
Jeffery: You two are supposed to be Parvo's grandkids? How disappointing.
Jeffery freezes their places again as he gets down on his knees.
Jeffery: You have shown me that I can feel how it hurts. Now, let me show you how to feel true pain.
Jeffery grabs Claire's arm and breaks it, causing her to scream in agony.
Chris: Otitis! You leave my sister alone!
Jeffery looks at Chris as he breaks Claire's other arm, grinning.
Jeffery: It's okay, Chris. You will feel the pain as well.
Chris tries his best to break free from Jeffery's spell, but can't. There is nothing Chris can do as Jeffery breaks both Chris' arms, causing him to scream in agony. Jeffery chuckles.
Jeffery: Hurts, doesn't it?
Chris starts wincing from the pain.
Jeffery: And now, since you swore to not stop until you're dead, I will make sure you see your God. And your fate will be with your team.
As Jeffery goes to grab Chris' head, he stops. Chris looks at Jeffery, confused. Jeffery starts to choke, almost as if something is making him not breathing. Jeffery is slowly being lifted off the ground and then is quickly flown high up the ceiling. As Jeffery is trying to get his vision clear, his eyes widen to be seeing what his vision is shown. A cano-sapien of an Alaskan Malamute standing on a metal beam, wearing a grey and blue Road Rovers uniform with its eyes in a cyan beam of light. The Alaskan Malamute clenches his teeth and shows an angry expression on its face.
Jeffery: M... Max...?
Max still shows the same angry expression.
Max: Get your hands off of my family!
Max uses his psychokinesis to throw him to the big screen, sending Jeffery flying until he hits the big screen, cracking it. As Jeffery winces from the pain, he starts to slide and fall to the ground. Before he hits the ground, he gets grabbed by a female Belgian Shepherd, who flies around and lands hits on him. The Belgian Shepherd is wearing the same uniform as Max. She throws Jeffery to the ground, causing a dent on the floor. Max and the Belgian Shepherd slowly lower to the ground. Jasmine attends to Chris and Claire, healing their injuries. The Belgian Shepherd speaks.
Belgian Shepherd: That's right, Otitis. You don't mess with our family.
Chris and Claire pipe up, recognizing the voice.
Chris and Claire: Mom?!
Sarah looks at her kids and smiles.
Sarah: That's right. Your Mom is a Road Rover.
Jasmine finishes healing Chris and Claire and she gets the two up. Jeffery slowly gets up, despite the pain he's feeling.
Max: Dr. Jeffery Otitis, as the eighth member of the original Road Rovers team, I suggest you stop and give up.
Jeffery looks at Max, a wave of slow anger rising in him.
Jeffery: Doesn't this base give you some repressed memories, Mr. Parker?
Max shakes his head.
Max: I've learned to not live with that etched in my mind. I am beyond vengeance. Now, Jeffery, don't be foolish and give up on trying to resurrect my father's dream of bringing death to the world.
Jeffery: NO! I am going to achieve what he always wanted! You can't kill your father's dream, but I have it in me to kill you all!
Sarah scoffs.
Sarah: You could have done that when you were fighting these kids.
Jeffery growls.
Jeffery: It doesn't matter! We are destined to be doing this again and again and again and again until we're all dead! Now, let's finish this!
Jeffery screams in anger and superhuman sprints toward Sarah, who dodges him. Jeffery goes to land a punch on Sarah and she quickly dodges it. Sarah lands a few hits on Jeffery. Then each of the kids uses their powers and physical combat on Jeffery, weakening him. The kids have used the last of their hits on Jeffery. Chris and Claire are the last to land their hits on Jeffery, who stumbles around and meets Sarah and Max, who both land a series of punches and kicks to Jeffery, weakening him further. Max uses his psychokinesis on Jeffery and throws him against the electronics. Jeffery is weak from the fight and squirms on the floor in pain.
Max: Are you done, Jeffery?
Jeffery looks up at Max and slowly gets up.
Jeffery: No. I am just getting started.
Jeffery pulls out a signaling device and passes its button, activating a trapdoor activates.
Jeffery: You haven't seen the last of me! I will turn Parvo's dream into a reality! Until we meet again, Road Rovers!
Jeffery jumps down the hole and the trapdoor closes. The Rovers stand around Max looks at his kids.
Max: So what do you think of your old man being a Road Rover again?
Chris and Claire look at each other and then at Max.
Chris: Not bad after twenty years.
Claire: If I have to say, your abilities probably haven't changed.
Sarah: What do you think of your mother?
Chris and Claire look at Max who looks at Sarah.
Max: I think I know what they're going to say.
Sarah looks at her husband.
Max: You need a bit more practice.
The group laughs as they start to hug each other.
Max: I am so proud of you all! You're all good dogs!
Woman on PA: Ten minutes until detonation.
The group pipes up.
Max: And that's our cue to leave. Follow me!
Max and the group run out of the room. They begin making it outside, which took them eight minutes, because of the many rooms they had to go through in order to get out. A door opens from the side of the building and the Road Rovers come out.
Sarah: This way to the Sky Rover!
The group makes it to the Sky Rover, which is parked outside of the base. The ramp is lowered and the group quickly gets inside the Sky Rover.
Max: Sarah and I will get this up in the air! Just sit on the seats and hold tight!
As Max and Sarah each sit on the pilot and co-pilot, the kids sit on the seats in the back. Aaron comes out of the bathroom.
Aaron: Oh, look who it is.
Chris: Mr. Ash!
Aaron smiles.
Claire: What are you doing here?
Aaron: I came to help your parents. I stayed back here and lead them inside the building to get to you guys thanks to this guy here.
Aaron pulls out a tablet.
Aaron: It's amazing the stuff Hubert invented to help the Road Rovers.
Max and Sarah tinker around the controls and they are able to get the Sky Rover in the air and fly off into the air. There are numerous ships flying in the opposite direction; Jeffery and the rest of the army are escaping to return. Seconds later, explosions are set off inside the base, which ends up causing the building below to collapse, causing the island to be engulfed in a dust cloud. The Sky Rover continues to fly off, heading back to HQ.
An hour has passed since the Road Rovers have saved Washington DC. The group has stayed mostly quiet throughout the world. Thinking this is a good time as any, Max puts the controls on auto-pilot and goes to the group, with Sarah following.
Max: Everyone!
The kids get out of their seats and stand up to listen to what Max has to say.
Max: I just want to let you know that I am very proud of what you kids did. You saved Washington DC and, in turn, saved the world. I am happy that training you guys has paid off.
Max looks down to think of something. He looks back up at the kids.
Max: When Dash died, I gave up that the Road Rovers would come back. That was until you guys came up. My journey as a Road Rover will not be any different from the journey you all will endure. You will be putting your lives on the line to save the world. I sure hope that none of you perish as part of your service if any of you want to be Road Rovers. This will be your last chance to have second thoughts. Once you are on this team, you are stuck in it for life.
Max looks at Sarah.
Max: That goes for you...
Sarah nods as Max looks at Aaron.
Max: ...and you too.
Aaron nods.
Max: If any of you are not interested in being Road Rovers, come to me and give me your collar.
Iris, without hesitation, goes up to Max. He starts to look down.
Max: Okay, Iris. I see you've made your decision.
Max puts his hand out.
Max: Please give me your-
Iris quickly grabs Max's hand and smiles, much to the surprise of Max.
Iris: I am ready to be a Road Rover.
Patricia is next to grab Max's hand.
Patricia: So I.
Liam is next.
Liam: I'm in.
Rahul is next.
Rahul: I'm in.
Jasmine is next.
Jasmine: I'm in as well.
Ali is next.
Ali: Me too.
Chris and Claire are next.
Chris: I swear.
Claire: I swear too.
Sarah grabs the kids' hands.
Sarah: Count me in.
Aaron goes and grabs Sarah's hands.
Aaron: I'm ready.
Max looks at the group and smiles.
Max: Then...
Liam starts to grin.
Liam: I know wat ya'ah garn ta say.
Max nods.
Max: To the power of the pack!
The group lifts their hands in the air and they do a howl in triumph.
August 1st, 2021
Washington DC. The United State's capital is recovering from the damage it took to the robot. Max is in the White House, wearing a black suit and tie, with black pants and a belt, and black shoes. He is being led to the Oval Office by Vice President Mike Pence.
Mike: We appreciate you coming here, Mr. Parker. The President is excited to meet you.
Max: Of course, Vice President. He is always excited to meet me.
The Vice President opens the doors and they both walk in. The Oval Office has a rug used by Ronald Reagan with the President of the United States symbol on it, white couches used previously by George W. Bush, yellow drapes, and a brown desk called the Resolute Desk. The walls are white with wallpaper on them and the architecture is white. There are flags of the United States and the President of the United States around the office. Standing behind the brown desk and looking out the window is a tall man in his mid 70's with short blonde hair.
Mike: Mr. President.
Mike leaves and closes the doors as the President turns around. It is Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States. The two smile and go to handshake each other.
Trump: Nice to meet you, Mr. Parker.
Max nods.
Max: Same to you, Mr. President.
Trump motions for Max to take a seat, which Max does so and sits on the brown chair. Donald sits in his chair.
Trump: It's nice to see you again, Mr. Parker.
Max: Well, after all, you invited me over here for my company's success in making the vaccine, as well as inviting me, Sarah, and Aaron over to this year's State of the Union.
Trump nods.
Trump: So, I do want to give you a thank you for saving our country's capital. I remember when that robot showed up, the staff and I had to get down to the Emergency Operations Center underneath here. I was going to prepare to get the National Guard to destroy it, but then your team showed up to save the day.
Max: You don't really have to thank me, Mr. President. It's the Road Rovers that deserve all of the praise.
Trump: Ah, yes. The Road Rovers. A team that was once disbanded twenty years ago has now shown up again to save the world. And now, you want me to put the team in operation again, after all, it is part of the US government.
Max: Yes, sir.
Trump gets out of his seat.
Trump: Well, I will do everything I can to make that happen, but it won't be easy. We're going to have to take it to Congress which then has to go to the United Nations. There is when the decision will be made. It all just depends on if the politicians and the United Nations feel that the Road Rovers should come back.
Max nods.
Max: I get tired of hearing the same thing over and over, Mr. President. The hatred that some of the public and the opposing party have for you as well as the public feeling that the Road Rovers should be forgotten. Before the robots show up, they felt that the world knows how to solve its problems. Then they show up and it proves that the world doesn't have the means to defend itself from threats like that. When the Road Rovers show up to save the world, the public changed. They do agree that at times, we can't depend on the world for it to be its own problem solver. The Road Rovers have to be there to protect the world, no matter how small or big the cost may be. And so, Mr. President, do whatever you can in your power to make sure that the Road Rovers can be the symbol of justice and peace for our world.
Tump looked at Max the whole time during this. Trump puts his hand out.
Trump: I have always treasured your friendship, Mr. Parker. I'll do whatever I can to get it to happen.
Max looks at Trump's hand and then at Trump. He kindly shakes his hand.
Max: I do appreciate you wanting to make it happen, Mr. President.
Max gets out of his seat.
Trump: You know, it's been a while since we met. Why don't I show you around the White House?
Max: You can do that?
Trump nods.
Trump: I can fit it into my schedule.
The two start to walk out.
Trump: How about we play a game or two of bowling?
Max looks at Trump.
Max: You play bowling?
Trump: I play it every now and then.
The two chuckle as they walk out of the Oval Office.
September 7th, 2021
Weeks have passed since the meeting with the President. The congressional meetings were held. Though very few politicians were not in support of the Road Rovers being operational again, the majority of the politicians agree that the Road Rovers deserve to come back to be a symbol of justice and peace, as they were once before. After the congressional meetings, it was taken to the United Nations, where all of the members present debated for over a week. In the end, the court favored by a majority to put the Road Rovers back to being operational, as part of the United States government. The Road Rovers have returned.
At the Road Rovers HQ, the kids are wearing their Road Rovers uniform and are being prepared for the very first official mission they will have as a team. They are sitting in the mission room on the chairs. They are now all in college and the US government will help the kids by giving them money for each mission they accomplish, just so they can be financially stable while pursuing their future careers.
Liam: Hey, Chris, I finally got that comic done.
Chris looks at Liam.
Chris: That's good, Stan Lee. Mind if we read it?
Liam nods.
Liam: You will, once it gets uploaded on my and DeviantArt.
At that moment, the door towering the table opens, and Max and Sarah, both wearing the same uniforms as the kids are, come out. Each of them has the United States flag on each of their upper arms of the uniform. Aaron comes out later and is wearing normal clothes. They walk down the stairwell and walk close enough to the table.
Max: Good morning, Rovers.
Sarah: You all have a day ahead of you.
Aaron: Are you ready to begin?
The kids nod.
Kids: Yes!
Max: Well, then...
Max pulls out a remote control device.
Max: ... let's hit the road, Rovers.
Max presses a button on the remote control, turning a big screen on. The big screen reveals the Road Rovers symbol, which turns into a globe of the Earth. The next generation of the Road Rovers has begun.
