Several minutes later...

"Alright, we're here. Welcome to your new office." Ryoken said as he pushed the door in. It was just like how Yusaku imagined it to be, only much bigger. "Beautiful, isn't it?"

"Yes."

"Anyway, you should find anything you need in that closet over there. If you have any question, don't hestitate to ask."

"I think I'm good for now. Thank you for everything, Dr. Kogami."

"Please, call me Ryoken." He smiled.

After that, they said their goodbyes and went on their seperate ways.

By the time Yusaku finished seeing his last patient out, it was already half past two. He was just planning to get some coffee from the vending machine down in the lobby then headed right back. However, his plan turned into dust the second he bumped into that person while taking a turn at the corner.

"Sorry--Dr. Kogami?"

"We met again sooner than I thought." He smiled. "Is there something on my face? You're staring."

"Ah, I forgot I still have them on." He said while taking them off. "One of my younger patients thought they would look great on me, so she insisted I give them a try."

"It's time to hit this world with a bang, dr. Fujiki!"

Standing out in the hall, back leaned against the wall, Yusaku answered his phone while ignoring other gazes. He didn't really blame them since he was, at right now, still wearing the black-cat ears headband May gave him. Just as he hanged up, Ryoken approached him with a cold beverage.

"Coffee?"

"Ah, thank you. I'll pay you back later."

"No need. Consider it my treat."

"Then, next time it's my turn."

"Hahaha, alright. And about earlier, back with May, I'm sorry. I made that promise without consulting you first."

"Don't worry, it's not like I have no any plan tonight."

"Sorry, I'm late!" Yusaku wiped the sweat off his chin while catching his breath.

"Dr. Fujiki!"

"Why are you--" Ryoken looked at him with his eyes widened.

"I finished the test just in time if I must say." He smiled. "A promise is a promise. I've never broken one before and I'm not going to start now."

At that moment, Ryoken smiled but it was completely different from the ones he saw.
