Apologizing while making his way through the big crowd at the lobby, Yusaku searched for his name among the lists on the notification board. After three days of waiting, the results were finally in. Judging from the look of thing, he could tell some of "his fellow classmates" have failed miserably. He personally believed in his skills and knowledge. However, when his name was no where to be found, his world started to collapse. At that very moment, that person snuck up from behind and covered his eyes. Among the shouting and crying, he could hear their voice as clear as day.

"Guess who?"

"Dr. Kogami."

"It's Ryoken." There was a hint of disappointment in his voice. "Still you're not wrong." He smiled. "Why the long face? Did someone stole your lunch money?"

It was a joke, clearly. Yet, Yusaku couldn't hold back his tears. After hearing what happened, the sapphire eyes young man seemed to realize something as he pulled out a name card from his blouse's pocket and placed it in his palm.

"The director asked me to give you."

The second he saw the name written on it, his eyes widened.

"There has to be some mistake! I didn't pass!"

"No, you did. With max scores that is. And that's why..." He gazed at the big screen, smiling. "...your name is there. Welcome to the family!"

...

"Heh? So you passed?"

"That's right." With his back leaning against the wall, eyes gazing out the big glass window, the young man replied simply. "I just thought you would want to know."

"Not really. That just means I have to cook your favorite food."

"Hahaha, sorry about that. Well, I better get back to work. See--"

"Hold on!"

"Hm?"

"No matter what happens, don't forget you can come home any time, Yusaku."

"Eh?"

And the call ended.

"What was that about?" He tilted his head. He was planning to call them back, but with the load of works he had to take care of, it totally slipped his mind.

As the days went by, he noticed something, Ryoken was following him around like a lost puppy. At first he didn't really thought about it since they were co-workers, bumping into each other now and then was normal. However, after having to encounter him more than twenty times in a single day, even an idiot could understand. And today when he suddenly stopped and turned around, the sapphire eyes doctor immediately hid behind one of the trees. It covered his face just fine but his body, that was a different story.

Letting out a sigh, he came closer and called out while holding tight to the thick patient's file.

"Dr. Kogami."

"Oh, fancy meeting you here, Yusaku." He stepped out with a dazing smile like always.

"Please drop the act. Why are you following me?"

"What make you think that?" The young man tilted his head, blinking his innocent puppy eyes.

"The fact there's a big note "following Yusaku" stick on your chest."

"Opps, when did that got there." He quickly pulled it off.

"Anyways, please stop following me around. I don't know what your reason is, but--"

At that moment, Ryoken suddenly grabbed his hand and led it to where his heart was.

"J-just what are you doing?" His face burned up.

"Can you feel it?" He leaned forward. "This heart is beating for you."

Then, the young doctor's words from the first day they met flashed through his mind.

"Like I thought, you're the one."

"Don't tell me what he meant was...!!!"

"Yusaku Fujiki, go out with me."

"Y-you are gay?"

"No, not really." He smiled. "It's just I'm interested in you."

The next second, a nurse called out to Ryoken at the end of the hall. Judging from the tone of her voice, he could tell it was something urgent.

"Looks like I have to go. See you around, doctor Nyan~"

"Wait, that nickname! You--"

It was then the sapphire eyes young man put his finger to his lips and winked before disappearing at the corner.
