Chapter 3: The Remembered Past
Alice is now at Route 1 since the Wooloos are preventing her from moving forward. Alice sighs, "How am I supposed to get there if they are surrounding me..."
Hey, do you need a hand?" Then she sees a Pikachu rushing towards the Wooloos, causing them to spread out, and then a hand grabs Alice as she gets out of the Wooloo's sight.
"It's a good thing that Leon has warned me about these Wooloos." The boy turns out to be Ash, he asks, "Are you alright? Miss?"
Alice gets a closer look at the boy's face, then she gasps and says, "Ash? Is that you?"
Ash sees her face and then he starts to remember about everything, about the same white-haired girl in his childhood and also sitting in a cave after a blizzard back in Kalos. Ash gasps and says, "Alice..." He shows a small smile, "Good to see you again."
Pikachu then rushes to the female and then he nuzzles the person affectionately, causing Alice to laugh a little. Alice says, "Ash, I heard that you become Alola Champion a few days ago. I know you can do it, congratulations."
Ash gives her a genuine smile and says, "Thank you, Alice. It sure has been a while since we met each other back in the Kalos Region."
"You're right." Alice says, and much to Ash's surprise, Alice gives Ash and hug. "I missed you a lot."
Ash blushes at Alice's actions but doesn't say anything, he really likes the feeling of how she hugs him like that.
"There you are." They turn around and see Gloria, Hop, Mark, Trenor, and Leon. Mark says, "Brother Ash! How could you just run off without telling us?"
"Yeah, you are new to this Galar Region and we don't want you to get into some sort of trouble." Trenor adds.
"Sorry that I made you worry." Ash says while rubbing his hair.
Hop gasps, "No way, you are Ash Ketchum! You have come back to Galar!"
Ash realizes that Gloria and Hop are staring at him with surprise, he feels a little unease and he says, "Um...yeah, my name is Ash Ketchum, um..."
Leon sighs, "Hop, you are making him nervous, Ash, this is Hop, my brother and this is Gloria, she is our neighbor, not to mention her brother is also one of my good rivals."
"Who never comes back home..." Gloria says the last line with a bitter tone.
"Oh, Hop and Gloria, right? It will be my pleasure to meet you." Ash says with a bow.
The way Ash is smiling at them causes Gloria's heart to flutter a little, Alice notices her reaction and she doesn't say anything. Mark then walks towards Alice and he says, "So you must be Alice, right? I am Mark, Ash's brother."
"And I'm Trenor, I'm also Ash's brother. It is a pleasure to meet you." Trenor says.
"It is nice to meet you too." Alice says with a smile.
"Ash, can you come to our house? It will be great to have the prince of Galar in our house. Please?" Hop asks.
Ash replies, "Why not? Leon also asks me to come with him after all."
Hop is delighted, not only his brother is coming back home, but Ash Ketchum is also visiting as well. Hop says, "Great, come on guys, bet I can beat all of you back home!"
Hop starts to run and everyone can barely see his figure. Leon sighs, "That Hop...always wanting to be the best, isn't he?"
"You have no idea..." Gloria says, "I have to put up with that attitude for a lot of days..."
"With a proper rival of his own, I bet he'd push himself to become something truly special..." Leon then turns around the crowd, who is also murmuring about Ash Ketchum's appearance.
"No way..." "The Prince of Galar, Ash Ketchum, has returned?" "Not to mention, he won against all the Champions in other regions!" "I can't believe we are seeing the real deal here!"
Ash says, "I think we should go, or else we won't be able to get out of this mess."
Leon says, "Well, everyone! I bid you farewell for today, but don't you fret...I'll always be around to make sure everyone in Galar can have a Champion time! And also, since our Prince is back as well, maybe we will have a Champion time of me and Ash Ketchum."
The crowd cheers wild and Ash is blushing in embarrassment. Alice says, "Well, you are a legend after all."
"Indeed, brother. That shows how many people in the Galar Region really like you." Trenor adds.
"I guess so." Ash sighs, and then they all go to Hop's house.
Once they get back to the house, Leon is now talking with his mother while the rest of them are sitting in the living room. Mark notices the video disks of the league battles and says, "You're not kidding that you said you're a fan of Ash's."
"I know, I want to beat my brother, and Ash's strategy might be the closest thing to make me beat him." Hop says.
Gloria says, "So Alice, how did you and Ash meet? I am really curious about it."
Alice blushes a little and asks, "Do I really have to?"
"You know, I would like to hear the whole story as well." Mark says.
Ash decides to help Alice out as he says, "Let me explain that. First, we were friends when we are born. I remember that we often play with each other for many years and we also keep our promise to be the best Pokemon Masters. But when we are 7 years old, Alice's family has to leave because of her mother, who is a famous Fashion Designer in Kalos."
"So you guys got separated when you're seven...no wonder we don't know about you." Trenor says. "We probably are just 2 or 3 years old back then, and the memory is too far away from now."
Alice is still stunned that Ash remembers everything. She asks, "So you did remember all of that. Can you explain why you didn't recognize me back in the Kalos when you are challenging my mom's gym?"
Ash frowns and says, "I am sorry for that. You see, because of Team Rocket attacking our family, Dad wanted to protect me as he erased my memories. At that time, I can only remember what happened after I started my journey. It is until a few days ago, with Team Rainbow Rocket disbanded, my father decided to unlock the memories that were carved into my heart."
"But why was Team Rocket trying to target you?" Hop asks. "I know that they have been following you throughout the whole journey, but surely they can just target other trainers, right?"
Ash says, "For some people in Team Rocket, they just want my Pikachu because it is "legendary" in their eyes. But for the boss of Team Rocket, he knows my father and he wants me to be captured so he can threaten my father to work for him."
Then he continues to talk about his meeting with Alice. "And as she said, we reunited again in Lavarre City, where she and her sisters are helping her mother with the modeling event. We talked a little and since I didn't remember her back then, our conversation ends quickly. And then we met again after I lost to her dad in Snowbelle Gym, it was my breaking point and I was in the woods until the blizzard comes. I tried to get back, but decides against it after hearing something that catches my heart."
"Which is?" Mark asks.
"After I follow the sound, I see Alice, singing, and dancing in the blizzard. With her aura assisting her, I thought I just see an angel from the heavens." Ash says, causing her to blush.
Gloria is now feeling a little jealous as she mutters, "Yeah, I have heard Alice's singing before, she is really good."
"I was embarrassed when he found me, but I'm also glad. When the blizzard becomes stronger and stronger, we took shelter in the cave alone." Alice says. "Though someone has to be reckless to rush in the blizzard to save Spewpa from falling, that's also when Ash finally achieves the bond with his Greninja."
"Yeah." Ash says. "After defeating the Snowbelle Gym, which is the final gym in the Kalos region, I promised Alice that I will try to remember her again. And here we are."
"I'm glad you keep your promise." Alice smiles at Ash.
"It seems like you have some history." Leon says as he walks into the room. "Not that it is my business to ask about it."
"Come on, Lee! You promised us a present! So out with it! You brought Alice, Gloria and me Pokemon. You did, didn't you? I know you must have!" Hop suddenly rushes towards Leon and asks.
"Right then, the greatest gift from the greatest champion, it's showtime! Everyone!" Leon says as he brings everyone outside the house to the battlefield.
In a city that is filled with water, a ferry arrives at the port as three people step out of the ship. All three of them have blonde hair, but one is a male while the other two are female. The oldest female also looks to be the mother of two children. They are Lusamine, Gladion, and Lillie, the three of them are searching for their father or Lusamine's husband.
"So this is the Galar Region's famous Hulbury City... There sure are a lot of stalls and water..." Lillie looks around.
"Indeed. But will we be able to find Dad here?" Gladion asks with concern.
"I am not sure, Lillie, Gladion. But we might as well check it out." Lusamine says.
As they ask for information about a person named Mohn, they notice some people who are talking to each other with surprises and excitement. Lillie decides to ask the people, "Excuse me, is something the matter?"
One of the fisherman notices Lillie and he says, "Oh, I guess you are travelers? You see, our prince of Galar has returned to Galar with the Queen."
"The Prince? The Queen?" Gladion asks, he hasn't heard of Galar having something that appears in fairy tales.
"Yeah, you see, our Prince was born in the Kanto Region, but we are always waiting for his return, and after the Alola League, he has finally return to us." The second fisherman says.
"Not to mention he has won seven leagues in a row!" The saleswoman says. "He really brought the great name to the Ketchum family."
"The Ketchum family?" Lillie gasps. "Are they talking about Ash Ketchum?"
"Do you know our prince?" The saleswoman asks, and then a folk says, "Wait for a second! This is the boy who fought Ash in the finals of the Alola League, I remember it is Gladion, right?"
"Well...I am Gladion..." Gladion says with a surprised tone.
Lillie asks, "Does that mean Ash Ketchum is in Galar Region? Do you know where he is?"
The fisherman says, "The last time I heard that he is in Wedgehurst, you can get there if you take a train, the station is just over there."
When Lusamine notices how Lillie is excited to see Ash again, she says, "Lillie, if you want to find Ash then go ahead."
"Mother?" Lillie is surprised.
"After all, you are getting a liking to him, right?" Lusamine asks. "You don't need to hide yourself, it is very obvious."
Lillie is blushing, and Gladion just makes matter worse, "Indeed."
Lillie says, "But what about Father? I want to find him as well..."
"Don't worry, I'm sure that Ash will be likely to help you out. After all, if he is the Galar Prince, he might be able to ask more people about it. We'll just split into two paths." Gladion says.
Lillie nods as she bids farewell to her family as she rushes to the train station, she thinks, "Ash, wait for me...I'm coming for you."
Not faraway in the Motostoke, a plane arrives, and then a girl with a white beanie and a Piplup with her walks out of the plane, she says, "We are here, Piplup, this is the Galar Region."
"Piplup!" Piplup says with a cheer.
"I can't wait to see what this place has to offer. Let's go, Piplup." Dawn says as they keep moving. And then after 30 seconds, a honey blonde girl also arrives. She looks around and says, "Galar Region...I always wanted to come here since I was little."
She smiles and then she holds the blue ribbon on her clothes, she says, "It will be perfect if he is also here...I kinda miss him and I really want to know how he feels after that..." She starts to blush while thinking about the words she said.
Here is a new chapter, this chapter talks about 5 of the girls that are in the harem. I hope you like this chapter and we are going into the Starter Pokemon in the next chapter.
