Sup, guys? Lighting Wolf here, back for another story, this one about RWBY and Borderlands. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Borderlands or Warhammer, Gearbox, Games Workshops, and a few others do.

The drum of battle was battered again and again as the crimson soldiers flew down from gunships and fired on Heretics with their bolters laying waste to their forces. They landed in cracks of lightning as they rallied against the 'Order of the Impending Storm' who had laid claim to the planet and joined the forces of Chaos.

One such warrior raised his Chainsword and cleaved one of the heretics in 2. The slaughter of the citizens of Athenas had sickened their emperor and their progenitor who took the throne after the death of the former emperor.

"FORWARD!" He heard as he fired his jump pack and took to the skies.

He fired his bolter pistol, slaying the cultists and heretics in booms and bursts of fire. Athenas's capital burned as the heretics seemed determined to destroy the planet even if they failed.

He charged forwards, smashing a cultist into the wall and shattering it and the man. The fast few cultists fell slain to the burning ground as they secured the area. They stared at each other as a pair of Thunderhawks passed their heads.

"Squadron, what is your status?" They heard as they started to advance into the city.

"Slaying the local heretics, my lord." One of them stated before he frowned. "There aren't many citizens left in the rubble. We've sent what little we managed to save to the Red Tear." He stated while he frowned.

"The Order is a pathetic sham to lay waste to the people here. Their lies will not harm the people here." Another Angel stated before there was a movement in the rubble.

All 4 soldiers lifted their bolters before someone started to crawl out. They held their fire for a moment before they noticed it was another citizen. They shared a glance as blue surged across their body.

"One of the 7 that was the Imperium spoke of." One of them said as they moved to extract the woman from the rubble. "Take her back. She needs one of the medics." The soldier stated before they frowned.

Another of the squadron gathered the woman into his arms and turned to his brothers. There was a nod before he turned and fired up his jump pack and departed the battlefield.

More of his brothers descended on the city and he was to return to attack the remaining Heretics. Their sworn enemies were said to be sent here and it made him boil with rage to know they had to come here when the day ended.

The woman in his arms started to stir as he landed away from the city and started to look at the crimson warrior. He cleared his mind and passed her to a pair of guardsmen as she awakened.

"Take her to the camp and then send her to the Crimson Spine afterward." He ordered before he drew his Chainsword and bolter.

"Wait…" He heard from over his shoulder as the massive soldier raised an eyebrow at her behind his crimson armor.

"You will be safe here with the guardsmen." He stated before he flew off and back into the battle. "They need to bring her to the ship when we find that she is safe to travel." He stated with a sigh.

He raised his Chainsword and attacked what appeared to be the first of the enemy reinforcements who were clad in ebony black armor which he and his ilk hated to no end. He sliced into the soldier as more hostiles swarmed the area with weapons drawn and raised to slice them and shoot them to nothing.

It would be only a few hours later when she was aboard one of their ships that she'd know. Their name was spoken from soldier to soldier as a simple two words: Blood Angels. The soldiers who directly worked for the emperor as the vanguard of his army and one which led said soldiers into combat with their enemies despite being one of many legions in their army.

She did not know what had been the fate of the planet besides the enemy had been slain with MANY losses despite their powers.

Nor did she know they'd be coming back to the 6 galaxies of their sector of space sooner or later.

Author Notes

Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be a bit delayed and such. The next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will show more of the Blood Angels and set up their history in the Borderlands Verse. It will be 900-6500 words. I also have a Raven Gard poll set up which will be the last Warhammer story I make for now. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
