Chapter 53 Bermingsteel Date?
With the help of Flying Taxi, Ash and the others are now arriving at Lake of Outrage with no time. Fortunately for them, there is actually a boat that brings those who have 11 badges to the other side of the lake, where Bermingsteel is located.
After arriving at the other side of Lake of Outrage, Ash says, "We're here...Bermingsteel."
Serena says, "I can't believe that the whole town is just the other side of the lake, and look at all the strong-looking Pokemon around here."
"Yeah. It is Overcast, but look at those Drapion, Golurk, Hitmontop...even Grimmsnarl and Pangoro are here as well!" Gloria says in awe.
"How about we split up and then see what kind of Pokemon we can find around the area?" Ash asks, and the others nod in agreement.
Alice finds a Jangmo-o, she realizes that she doesn't have a Fighting Type Pokemon and wanting to have Kommo-o, so she decides to capture it. Trenor also finds a Larvitar and he captures it because it is one of his favorite Rock-type Pokemon. And with the training, Larvitar also evolves into Pupitar, much to his delight.
And finally, Lillie and Ash notice two Pokemon floating around with each other. Ash asks, "Rotom, what are those?"
"They are Dreepy, Dragon and Ghost-type." Rotom says.
Dreepy: The Lingering Pokemon: Dragon and Ghost Type. If this weak Pokémon is by itself, a mere child could defeat it. But if Dreepy has friends to help it train, it can evolve and become much stronger.
And then both Pokemon rest on top of their hats, causing them to chuckle a little, and then they decide to capture both of them. After that, they split up so they can continue find the Pokemon they want to check out.
Right now Ash, Pikachu, and Perrserker are alone, they are walking around the Lake of Outrage until Ash stops to see something with surprise. A girl is dancing gracefully by the bay, her white hair flows in the air and the sunset brings out her beauty. It is true that he liked Serena's dancing, but the girl's dance is something else.
When the girl turns her head around, Ash realizes the girl is Elena, Chairman Rose's daughter and the Steel-type Gym Leader of Bermingsteel.
"She is like a complete angel..." Ash mutters, causing Pikachu and Perrserker to get surprised.
Just then, Ash widens his eyes to see Sludge Wave shooting toward Elena, and he rushes to push her out of the way as both of them are now lying on the ground. Elena is shocked at what just happened, as she looks around, she gasps to see Ash.
"Ash? What are you doing here?" Elena asks, starting to blush if Ash saw her dance.
"We can talk about this later, are you okay? The Sludge Wave almost hurt you." Ash says.
"I'm fine..." Elena says, and they realize three Garbodors are charging at them with Body Slam, and Ash says, "Do you think we might have trespassed their territory?"
"That wasn't possible, because I would have known because I basically live here." Elena replies. "I think we should stop them before we got poisoned and doomed."
"Pikachu, Perrserker, use Iron Tail and Iron Head!" Ash says as both Pokemon slam at two of the Garbodor, but when the third one goes for Gunk Shot, Elena takes out the Pokeball and says, "Koyuki! Help me with Detect!"
Ash gasps as Elena just sends out a white-colored Lucario, it creates a shield to protect both of them.
"You have a Shiny Lucario? No...a Shiny one is yellow colored..." Ash says.
"Of course. I am a Steel Type user and Koyuki is a Pokemon that I got from the King, your father. It is one of a kind since it is white-colored, it looks like snow, so I named her Koyuki." Elena says.
But just then, Pikachu was being slammed into the lake, making a giant splash that drenches both Ash and Elena at the same time. "Mother, are you okay?"
Ash is surprised to hear Lucario's voice, it is a female voice and it is showing concern for Elena. Elena says, "I'm fine, Koyuki. Now if you can, please give each of them a Bone Rush."
The Lucario nods as he charges at the three Garbodor, slamming them with the bone and causing them to faint and run away. After getting Pikachu out of the water, Perrserker says, "That sure is a hard splash, you'll get a cold if you didn't change your outfit like that."
"Don't worry about it." Ash says, "But what about you, Elena?"
Elena blushes a little and says, "I have some spare uniforms with me right now, I'll just change it..."
Ash blushes as Elena is going to change her clothes right here right now, he turns away, not wanting to see her change her clothes. While changing clothes, Elena asks, "So how is your harem going? Did you give out your gems to them?"
"Yeah...and it turns out I still have one with me." Ash says. "I am not sure who I am going to give to."
"You know, I am really envious of you to be loved by a lot of people because you are the prince." Elena says, "You see, my Dad is the Chairman, and he has been busy all the time...I was usually alone with all my Pokemon."
Ash nods and says, "My dad is the same, but I didn't blame him for that. In fact, I am really glad that I have a wonderful Dad. You should be the same too."
Elena giggles, "Now you can turn around, Ash." After Ash turns around, they decide to walk around and Elena agrees with Ash's words. "Yeah, thanks to our parents that Galar has become a great place." Elena says.
As Ash is chatting with Elena more, he finds her not only charming but cute as well, and with that dancing, he really likes her a lot.
"Bermingsteel is famous for its amusement park, how about you join me with it?" Elena asks.
"Sure, it can be relaxing." Ash nods.
They look around the area as they notice some Klink, Klang, and Klinklang are gearing around the whole park, and like in Grenomy, some children are playing with Bronzong.
"So what are we going to play first?" Ash asks, "Any recommendations?"
"I suggest you can try out Excadrill's Cave. It is basically a smaller roller coaster with some underground exhibits." Elena says.
They try out the facility and they are in awe at the sight of what is underground, some Excadrills, Durant, Stunfisks, Ferroseeds, and Steelixs. They enjoy the place a lot.
Once they are back outside, they try out the Corviknight flying swings, and they all have a lot of fun being in the sky.
Elena says, "I have been through this park a lot of times, but never once did I have someone accompany me through my favorite facilities."
"So I guess I am the first one?" Ash giggles a little.
"But I'm not complaining." Elena says as she brings him to another facility, which is Bisharp's cutting challenge. Ash tries to cut the berries, but he made a lot of mess on the board. The next one is the Escavalier's lance challenge, Elena teaches him how to use the Lance and how to strike the targets.
"So how did you meet my Father and why did he give you Koyuki?" Ash asks.
"After my uncle leaves the gym and heads to who knows where, your father, or the king, approaches me and asks me to become the Gym Leader in his place. At first, I was hesitating, because I was just a new beginner, so he asks me to battle him, I use Copperajah against his Mawile."
"And did you win?" Ash asks.
Elena shakes her head and says, "I lost, because the king is capable of Mega Evolution, which is something that is common in places like Hoenn and Kalos. But he acknowledges my strength. That's why I become a Gym Leader."
"If you mention that, your League Card said something like that. But it is different from hearing from a person's own point of view." Ash says.
"I know what you mean." Elena chuckles a little. "After becoming the Gym Leader, the king gave me a parting gift, which is the egg of Koyuki. Ever since she hatched from the egg, she has been my best friend and a great partner. Because of her help, I managed to get more Steel Type Pokemon.
"The only Pokemon that make Koyuki struggle back then are Corviknight and Doublades, since she has type disadvantages. But I'm glad to have them." Elena smiles.
"I see..." Ash nods as they see a Togedemaru rolling past them. "So Elena, I am sure that your father won't mind. But I have only one more space for my Harem. Will you be the one? I think that after that happened...I kinda find you cute."
Elena blushes at Ash's words, sure Ash is handsome in her opinion, and the girls he traveled with are nice as well, why can't she. She says, "Ash, you are the first and perhaps the only person who sees me as myself, not because of my Father. I can't believe I would say this, but I agree to be one of your girlfriends as well."
Ash gives her a hug and he takes out the final White Gem, he says, "Now my last gem belongs to you. With this, you'll be able to use Aura and you will be treated as my girlfriend."
Elena takes the gem and she is joyful about it. But then they hear a coughing sound, "Going to the amusement park without us?"
They turn around to see Alice and the others. Gloria says, "We have been waiting for you, and what do you have here? Having a date with the final member of the Harem?"
"I guess you have seen everything?" Ash asks with a blush, and so is Elena.
Mark says, "Dude, you are out in the open. The prince and the daughter of the Chairman playing games together, it is going to be big news."
Elena tries to change the topic and says, "Anyway, since you're here, how about we go to my gym right now?"
The others nod as they all head toward the gym, but they are still going to tease Ash and Elena about what they were just doing.
