The airport, what a cliché Izzy thought to himself as he walked through the airport.
Mimi was moving away again to start her company. All the digidestined were sad she was leaving but none more so than Izzy. He was of course excited for her, Hell he helped her set up the company but there are feelings that stir within him that he couldn't help. While they did bicker and their opposite personalities often led to conflict he had developed a fondness for her. The closeness they had felt seemed to go both ways but he wasn't sure. He hoped he had the courage to tell her how he feels.
"So… leaving again." Izzy said.
"I know it's sudden but…"Mimi replied nervously " I'll be back sooner this time I promise."
"You have nothing to explain." Izzy said "I just wish I had more time to prepare your parting gift."
Izzy took as small box wrapped modestly in a ribbon.
"Oh Izzy this is so sudden." Mimi teased
"Please can we not." Izzy replied
A visibly flustered Izzy quickly handed her the gift and she opened it.
"Oooooo a phone." Mimi smiled " I been meaning to get a new one."
"It's a special phone/digivice cause well you never know." Izzy frowned
Mimi looked concerned by the look on her face.
"Look I know we haven't always seen eye to eye on everything. But I always considered you a good friend and appreciated how you always look out for me when I am doing to much and well….."
Mimi cut off her confession by putting her finger to his mouth. "wait hold that thought I almost forgot to give you your gift."
Izzy was confused until she gave him a kiss on the lips leaving him flabbergasted.
"I…..wanted to do that for along time." Mimi smiled "I'm not dumb I knew you liked me and I feel the same way."
"Iwheifidhhsbshsususasuh." Izzy managed to get out unable to come up with words due to shock.
" I guess the same reason you didn't tell me sooner. I was too shy, there was never time during and adventures." She replied somehow understanding him.

"OhnoIamgonbamissmy flightbye!" Mimi shouted as she ran in Hope's of not missing her flight

Izzy looked back to see his best friend
"…You all saw the whole thing didn't you." Izzy said sheepishly.
He all nodded with smiles on his face.
" You already text everyone about it didn't you."
"Nope." Tai said " I sent them a video."
