Chapter 56 Rose's Secret
After leaving the gym, they look up at the sky and they are surprised, there is snow everywhere, but they couldn't see the streets because of the heavy snow. Elena says, "Oops...looks like there is a strong blizzard in the Wild Area...Blizzards are actually worse than Snowing, but a lot of Steel Type Pokemon actually come out from the Blizzard."
"Really? I never knew that..." Serena says in awe.
They notice Adam and Rose are talking to each other, so they decide to greet them. Elena asks in surprise, "Papa? What are you doing here?"
"I have come to see your battle against Ash. And I see that you give it all you got." Rose says.
Ash nods and says, "It is nice to see you again, Chairman Rose. And Dad as well."
Adam says, "So Ash, you have only 6 gyms left, right?"
"Yeah, in fact, we three are." Ash says as Gloria and Alice nod. "You see, Rose and I are talking about something important, you all are strong battlers, I hope you can help it out."
"Help out what? Mr. Ketchum?" Alice asks.
Rose says, "We decide to keep it a secret for now. But whatever happens in the end, I hope you can assist Leon to save the future."
Ash and the others nod, then Elena also shows Rose about the gem, and Rose is surprised that Elena is one of the girls in his harem, he just wants what is happy for his daughter and he agrees. Adam is also surprised that Ash has found all 7 of them, he gives him a father and son talk so that Ash will know how to make them happy, after that, they bid farewell to the two adults.
When they are back at the Wild Area, Elena is also coming with them as she wants to bring them to Hammerlocke. Because of the blizzard, the group decides to capture some Pokemon for their team.
Alice notices a Doublade in the area, and she says, "Look at those sharp blades...maybe it can help me with the Gym Challenge."
"Your next type is Rock-type. So it will be a perfect addition to the team." Elena nods as Alice decides to capture the Doublade, and by using the Dusk Stone, Doublade evolves into Aegislash and learns King's Shield.
Trenor finds a lot of Riolu in the wild, and he decides to find the one that is close to his aura, and eventually, he manages to find one and captures it, hoping to evolve it into a Lucario. Then he goes to Bridge Field to capture a Mawile, which is actually rare to find.
As for Gloria, she finds a Mime Jr. and captures it, since she knows Mr. Rime is an awesome Pokemon to use, as it is Ice and Psychic type.
After getting to the Hammerlocke, they see Sonia in front of the Hammerlocke Stadium. The group decides to greet the girl, and she asks, "Heya, the badge collecting going well?"
"You bet, we all have 12 badges." Gloria says. "What about you and your research?"
"I've been doing some research on the ruins in Stow-on-Side...The Sword and Shield...What kind of Pokemon are they? And where are they now? I still have so many questions, I was thinking about taking another look at the tapestries in-"
Just then, they hear an explosion and they turn around. "Are you kidding me... What's that?!" Sonia says.
Elena mutters, "The Hammerlocke Stadium shook...That's where my Dad's power plant is..."
Sonia's phone vibrates as she checks it out, she says, "Huh? A Power Spot?!"
"What's going on?" Ash asks.
"This Power Spot Detector reacts when it's possible to Dynamax...but why now..." Sonia asks.
Then Leon rushes to them with Delia. "Hey guys, you felt the shaking, right?" Leon asks.
"Yeah, what's going on?" Ash asks.
"Seems like my husband and Chairman Rose is testing something again." Delia says.
"This is bad! Pokemon might start Dynamaxing right in the middle of Hammerlocke!" Sonia says.
Elena says, "Then I'll go to make sure Dad knows." Then she bids them farewell as she goes inside the stadium.
Leon says, "We'll come as well, right? Sonia? Ms. Ketchum?"
"Of course." Delia turns to the seven, "Don't worry about it, we will have it covered."
Ash and the others nod and they see them leave.
"So now Elena has left us again." Serena sighs.
"Yeah." Ash says, but then they hear Hop calling for them.
"Hop, what's going on?" Ash asks.
"You know, first that forest, then to shop for battle items...I've been lost in every sense of the world! But it looks like I've finally caught up to you again." Hop says, "Come with me to Route 7! I could use a bit of competition to motivate me."
"Sure." Ash says as they all go to Route 7. But this time Hop wants to try to battle Alice because he hasn't battled her often, he battled Ash and Gloria before, but Alice only at Magnolia's house when they are just beginners. Alice agrees and she battles him.
"You know I've got to keep on trying different strategies if I'm gonna get strong enough to catch up to Lee...No! Not just catch up! If I want to surpass him! So I think you know what's coming. Let me try out my latest in a battle against you." Hop says.
He sends out a Trevenant, Alice says, "I see...you're going with a Ghost-type first."
"Of course, it's time for me to test exactly how far I can go with my latest and greatest team." Hop says.
Alice sends out Morgrem to battle, and Morgrem defeats Trevenant with the Dark Pulse, Hop sends out Snorlax next, and then Morgrem is defeated with Body Slam, so Alice sends out Jangmo-o. Jangmo-o defeats Snorlax even though it is small, but its Double Kick hurts a lot.
Heatmor is next and then it defeats Jangmo-o even though the Fire Attacks aren't effective to it. So Alice sends her ace Inteleon and uses the Snipe Shot to defeat it. The fourth Pokemon is Boltund, it uses Thunderbolt to defeat Inteleon, so Alice sends out Vibrava to battle. And Vibrava's Ground Type advantage defeats Boltund, but in the end, it is defeated by Rillaboom. So Alice uses Centiskorch to defeat the Rillaboom.
"This is rubbish...My team cant perform if I can't get my own head straight as their Trainer..." Hop groans.
"But you did battle well." Alice says. "I was just lucky."
Hop sighs and says, "Before we ever started out on this journey...I remember watching Lee on the telly. He was like a bright star, so strong I could hardly bear to look right at him. But now, I can tell just how strong he really is...And what he's got that I haven't..."
He turns to everyone and says, "But I am getting stronger, too. Maybe not as fast as you guys are, but fine. Whatever! Thank you for letting me battle you, Alice."
"No problem." Alice says. "Just take this challenge easy."
"I think I know what it is I really want...I want to battle Lee-I want to take on my bro. But not just that, I want to beat him. I want to be the one who beats the unbeatable Champion! And I am going to! My mind has made up! Ash, Gloria, Alice, you and me are going to have another battle once I get my Gym Badge in Steamdrift and Circhester!"
"So we will battle after 2 gyms, huh?" Ash says as he nods, then he leaves.
Dawn says, "Still, I am a little worried about your parents..."
Ash says, "I am sure that they will be fine, of course." Then they go to Route 7.
When they finally arrive at Route 7, they can find a lot of Pokemon around the area. They decide to do some training, and also evolve some of their Pokemon.
Serena and Ash are training their Ponyta together, and both of them evolve into Rapidash in the end. Rotom also records the data of both Pokemon.
Rapidash (Galarian Form): The Unique Horm Pokemon: Psychic- and Fairy-type. Evolve from Ponyta at LV:40. Little can stand up to its psycho cut. Unleashed from this Pokémon's horn, the move will punch a hole right through a thick metal sheet.
"That was really nice." Ash says. "We both have our own Rapidash."
"Yeah." Serena smiles, remembering the time when Ash and Serena take a ride to a secluded place for a dance.
Dawn is training her Binacle until it evolves into Barbaracle. Dawn says, "So it was two heads before...and now it has seven heads...where do they come from?"
"I have no idea." Gloria replies.
And after training some more, Dawn's Duskull evolves into a Dusclops, and she uses the Reaper Cloth which she found back at the place where the Ghost Girl Paula was to evolve it into a Dusknoir, of course, she has Ash's help to do the mock trade.
Gloria also evolves her Ferroseed into a Ferrothorn, and she is glad since Ferrothorn is stronger and it can help in the next gym, she also evolves Axew into a Fraxure, much to her delight.
Alice evolves her Litwick into a Lampent after training with Gloria's Axew, and then she uses another Dusk Stone to evolve it into a Chandelure. Mark also trains his Skorupi and evolves it into a Drapion.
As for Ash, he is capturing new Pokemon and also training some. The first one that he evolves is Carkoal, which has become a giant Pokemon.
Coalossal: The Coal Pokemon: Rock and Fire Type. Evolve from Carkol at LV:38. It's usually peaceful, but the vandalism of mines enrages it. Offenders will be incinerated with flames that reach 2,700 degrees Fahrenheit.
"If I were to guess, this might be one of the Pokemon that Gordie, the Rock Leader, would use, right?" Ash asks.
"Perhaps." Perrserker replies.
The next one to evolve is Silicobra, which evolves into a Pokemon that Ash knows has a Gigantamax.
Sandaconda: The Sand Snake Pokemon: Ground type. Evolve from Silicobra at LV:36. When it contracts its body, over 220 pounds of sand sprays from its nose. If it ever runs out of sand, it becomes disheartened.
"That Pokemon can also help a lot if you're facing Coalossal." Trenor says.
"I can tell." Ash replies.
And the final Pokemon they find are Morpeko, Ash and Mark decide to capture each of them.
Morpeko: The Two-sided Pokemon: Electric and Dark Type. It carries electrically roasted seeds with it as if they're precious treasures. No matter how much it eats, it always gets hungry again in short order.
"I just hope that this Pokemon won't be giving us a lot of trouble when it is hungry..." Mark says.
"I guess you're right about that..." Ash replies.
Here is a new chapter, and as you can see, Adam and Rose are doing something in the Power Plant. I hope you like this chapter and we will be getting to another date in the next chapter. Who is it going to be this time?
