A loud belch is what woke everyone up in the Team EMRD dorm room. "Ew." Ethan says as he gives a few pounds to his chest. "Jesus Christ dude what the fuck did you you eat?" Darrick asks. "..." Ethan tried remembering.

"Did you eat a rat or something ugh god." Reina asks trying to wave away the stench in the air. "Mmmmmmaybe." Ethan says. "AGH GROSS I WAS TALKING OUT OF MY ASS DUDE!" Reina shouts. "What? Rats are yummy." Cupa argues.

"Ugh. You two are perfect for each other." Darrick groans. "Annoyance." Ethan mutters as he grabs his school clothes. Grabbing a blue scarf to wrap around his mouth and neck. hiding the ends into the folds. Then putting his gloves and turtleneck sweater on before putting his suit coat and pants on. He never could go without those.

They can pester him all about it if they want but he'll be damned before ever relinquishing his sweater and gloves. "Hey so, why do you not choose to speak in full sentences? I know you can. You just don't. Why is that?" Darrick asks as he waits outside the dorm with Ethan. "Anxiety." Ethan responds. "Ah. Okay. Well even so I won't let you lord your leader status over me. I am David Topaz. I should have been the leader inf-" "Ignore." Ethan interrupts. "Wha! Don't ignore me!" Darrick yells.

Ethan just flips Darrick off. "Fuck you." He glares. "Oh you think you can just insult me like that?! I'll make sure you know you are a terrible choice for a leader then." Darrick says. "Boring." Ethan says as the door opens. Out came Reina and Cupa as they head to their first class.

Ethan saved a few seats for his sister's team as they barely make it to class in time. Ruby took her seat besides Ethan. Ethan didn't know why but somehow she got in a rivalry of sorts with his partner? As long as it doesn't get to out of hand then fine.

He just wanted to get done with class so he can begin searching for answers. Or maybe torment someone with memes. One or the other. "Now. Who would like to prove themselves to be of a capable Huntsman?" Port asks. Weiss would have offered if Cupa started. "OH! ME! ME!" She smiles. "Oh ho ho a lively one. Well get your gear ready and step up to the floor. And show me if you're ready to prove yourself." Port says as he pats the cage besides him. The Grimm inside growling and snarling. Cupa cheers as she explodes under her to launch into the air. Then casts another explosion to propel herself through a door to a changing room.

"Hyper." Ethan chuckles. Weiss pouts. "I think I just found my new best friend." Nora whispers. "Building Fear." Ethan says in rising horror. "Oh good it wasn't just me." Ruby sighs in relief. When Cupa came back she was flying through the air. Using her explosions to whip around the air and then shoot down on the floor in a pose.

Ethan couldn't help but whistle as he was impressed. And apparently Cupa was receptive to it if the smile she had was any indication. Ruby growled and Ethan raised an Eyebrow in confusion before looking back at Cupa. She had already deployed her gauntlets into their hammer fist forms.

Darrick scoffs at the gauntlets. 'I could easily make a better pair of gauntlets.' He thought. "Cupa. Crush it." Ethan orders. "Yes sir!" Cupa salutes. "Then let us begin." Port says as he breaks the lock on his caged Grimm. The boarbatusk crashes out looking around before noticing Cupa. "Bring it Porky!" She says as she clangs her gauntlets together.

It squeals and began to roll into a ball. It stayed in place and rolled Like it was a wheel on a car. And shot for Cupa who immediately went low to the ground and threw an explosive boosted uppercut. Launching the Boarbatusk Grimm high into the air and breaking its tusks off its mouth. Ethan caught them.

Cupa then followed it with a reverse uppercut and a High kick. Using her semblance to keep her in the air as she continued with her aerial assault on the Grimm. Eventually mechashifting her right gauntlet to its cannon form and firing a high powered Air bullet clean through the Grimm.

Its skeleton shattered into shards as its body faded to ash. "Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful Miss Mossy. Now that is what I call an exemplary show. Now it seems we have run out of time folks. I'll see you tomorrow and we shall continue my story tomorrow. Please don't be late!" Port says as the rest of the class is heading out.

Ethan stretched and watched Ruby try to speak to Weiss. But she immediately turned her away. "Hmm." He grunts. "Come on Ethan. Our next class is just this way." Reina says. "Kay." He says as he heads out. 'Hopefully they'll be fine.' Ethan thought.

(Later)

"And so class. Thanks to the efforts given by the brave explorers we have discovered a set of ruins that we'll be having a field trip to. I've taken the liberty of choosing the teams we'll be sending out and It'll be Teams JNPR and EMRD." Oobleck announces. Ethan smiled as he had been getting a strong feeling about those ruins since he saw them. He did ask Oobleck about them first thing when he found Ethan staring at the maps.

"What? Why do we have to go?" Darrick asks. "History is important Darrick. Its what we can learn from it in hopes we can improve on their mistakes or learn not to do them at all." Oobleck says. "Count me out." Darrick says. Ethan responds by throwing a barbell into his crotch. "AGH! WHAT THE FUCK MAN!?" He yells.

"Sanchez. Please refrain from harming your fellow students. That'll be your first strike." Oobleck says. "Yes sir." Ethan nods.

Darrick glared at Ethan who didn't even look at him. So when class ended he pulled Ethan back since Cupa and Reina had their own separate classes. "The fuck was that for man!? What gives you the right to harm me like that? I said I didn't wanna go!" Darrick yells as he holds Ethan by the collar. Ethan slaps Darrick hard. making him let go.

"I'm only gonna say this once." Ethan spoke. "My whole life I've been looking for clues to what exactly am it and those ruins have been giving me a sliver of hope I can find just even one answer. So I'm not gonna let some entitled dick haired prick tell me what I can and cannot do and miss out on this chance. Whether you like it or not I'm the leader of this team. So deal with it. And while I will accommodate the needs of my teammates I won't accommodate your needs if you are gonna be an ass about it." Ethan says. He sighs and readjusts his scarf. "Now fuck off." Ethan says as he heads to his next class.

Darrick looked on in shock before growling. "Oh I'll show you asshole." He growls.
