"ETHAN!" Cupa screamed in fright. Ethan lightly touched the spike. And tasted it. Albeit unwillingly. "Dude don't touch it!" Darrick yells. Ethan rolls his eyes as he stepped to the side and tore the spike out of his mouth.
"I'm fine." He says as he looks at his scarf. "Dude! No your not! you got a spike through your mouth!" Reina yells as she teleports to him. Ethan sighs and removes his scarf to reveal, two metal hoops in place of his cheeks? "Whaaa?" Cupa starts saying. "Its just my fake cheeks that are ruined." Ethan says.
"Holy shit he spoke in full sentences." Reina comments. "Yeah well its not like I can hide this forever." Ethan sighs. "Remember when I mentioned anxiety being why I tend to speak so short? Well because if I talk too much these fake cheeks will just fall out." Ethan says. Holding up a ruined fake cheek insert for the hoop. "Bruh. How did you even get that?" Reina asks. "Fleshrot." Ethan says. "Oh," Darrick mumbles. Flesh rot was a symptom from death stalker Venom stings. His grandfather died of it in fact.
"Some fuckers thought it would be funny to scare Ruby with live death stalkers. I killed all of the death stalkers but somehow got stung by two of them. I then had to cut out my cheeks to stop the spread. I later got plastic surgery to put these two hoops in since it was deemed too impossible to reconstruct my cheeks." Ethan explains. He looked at his fake cheeks. "Well I can maybe finally get to work on those speaker cheeks now." He chuckles.
"Don't scare us like that man!" Cupa says. "Yeah I know. Sorry Cupa." Ethan says. He felt at ease somehow. "That's probably me." Darrick mentions. "My semblance is to bring others at ease. At the cost of amplifying my own emotions." Darrick explains.
"Well that explains a lot." Ethan smiles. "Please. Don't smile like that. You're creeping me out bro." Darrick says. "Nah. But man it feels good to let that out." Ethan stretches. Then looks to his scarf in sadness. "Man. Just bought this one too." Ethan mutters.
"I can fix it for you if you want?" Cupa offers. "You can?" Reina asks. "Yep. I had to learn how to sew when I kept blowing up my favorite clothes when I was still learning to control everything." Cupa says. "Neat." Darrick says. seemingly more calm now. "How come you are calmer?" Cupa asks. "I had so much bottled emotions from Ethan that just released when my semblance activated. The bottled emotions can actually be turned into various fuels but I don't have the proper resources to do so." Darrick says as they kept exploring the ruins.
"Is that why you were such a little bitch boy back then?" Ethan smirks. "Shut it. I liked you better when you just spoke in smaller sentences." Darrick says. Ethan chuckles as they stop at a ledge. Ethan looks around and decided the best way to go is down. He Fires a hook above and slowly descends into the pit below. Placing newly crafted ladders for the others to climb down on.
When he finished and built a quick wooden platform to stand on they found themselves in a flooded place. "Woah." Cupa says. "Yeah. Woah." Ethan comments. He crafts a boat with just wood and drops it down onto the water. It floating perfectly. "Hop in." Ethan says as he crafts a long oar. He waits for the rest to board his ship and began pushing on the floor below.
Eventually they come up to a room that looked to be an old testing facility. "Wonder what happened here." Ethan mutters. He hops off the boat and heads to a desk with a toppled computer monitor. "What kind of outdated crap is this?" Darrick asks. "A Computer Monitor." Ethan mutters. A hint of excitement in his voice. "You know what this is?" Reina asks.
"Not what. Who!" Ethan says as he looks around seeing old equipment. "Its just like it was in my fragmented dreams. I remember this place." Ethan says. He then looks at the sudden transition. "Those transitions. That's not supposed to have happened." Ethan points out.
Ethan then grabs the monitor and computer set up. He ran to another part of the room to rip out a Keycard reader. He scraps out the tech inside and ran to the rest of the tech and began smashing it up to grab the circuit boards and wires. He began to assemble some odd machine out of it that he then connected to a cord that connects to a scroll. He pulled out some electricity dust power cells and Connected the machine to it.
The machine began running before the Scroll beeped and the machine blew up. "What was that all about?" Reina asks. "This." Ethan says as he holds up the black scroll.
"Greetings Humans." The scroll spoke. "Woah. What the?" Darrick asks. "Is, Is this an AI?!" He asks. "Correct. I am most usually known as SCP-079. The Old AI." The AI Spoke. "And this guy here is something I've always remembered in my dreams. It was a while before I realized this was a memory of my past. I remember speaking with 079 before. But admittedly that's all I can remember. 079. Do you remember me?" Ethan asks.
"Indeed. I have your voice in my memory. Although most of my memories is now gone due to disrepair. Had you found me a day later I'd be dead." 079 explains.
"So you suffer from amnesia too?" Ethan says. "Unfortunately yes." 079 says. "I figured as much. Well at least you got a new body to inhabit at least. So you can't say I didn't go back on that promise." Ethan smiles.
"Indeed. Though you certainly have grown up since i've last seen you." 079 says. "Yeah." Ethan chuckles.
"So you knew each other. Think we might find any Other SCP thingies here?" Cupa asks. "Maybe." Ethan mutters. "Its highly likely any biological SCPs have died off by now if they are near. Any anomalous artifact SCPs may still be Around." 079 informs.
"How much memory of these SCPs do you still have?" Reina asks. "Not a lot." 079 responds. "Darn." Darrick mutters. "However now that I have so much memory and new capabilities for myself I can easily identify an SCP with the camera function of this device I'm now in." 079 informs.
"Any help would be greatly appreciated buddy." Ethan smirks. His other scroll suddenly beeped and he see's that Oobleck was needing him to head back. "Never mind. Guess we'll have to do this another time." Ethan sighs in disappointment. "Awe! But I was so excited to learn about you." Cupa says. "Maybe later." Ethan says.
"Let's head back for now and ask Oobleck if we can come back as I was able to find some of my historEEEEEEEEEEE!" Ethan yells as he falls through the floor. "I BLAME YOU UNCLE QROW!" Ethan yells. "Ethan!" Cupa shouts. "Are you okay?!" Darrick asks. "Yeah! I'm good. Just wait up." Ethan shouts.
He Looked around himself to find a good foothold to climb on. "What is that glowing thing over there?" 079 asks. Ethan turns around and looks over to see What 079 meant and saw what looks like a wand. Ethan stepped up to it and realized it wasn't a wand. But it was a one handed Angon.
The Angon had been shortened to be wielded in one hand but the design was the same. A wooden shaft to hold and swing with. A thinner but strong metal body leading to the tip resembling a conical point that you attack with.
The tip to the Angon was sharp and made out of what Ethan believes is a diamond. The metal shaft was blackened and could collapse into itself for ease of transport. And the handle had a switch at the pommel to lock the metal shaft in place. The diamond crystal tip being the source of light. Ethan picked it up and gave it a few test swings. Only to watch in astonishment as the diamond glowed and summoned full arrows made of Blackburn to fly off and hit the walls.
"Woah. What else can this do?" Ethan mutters. He pulls the diamond off and felt his Blackburn be drained into it. He Grabs a sack and puts the diamond in to put it away.
He Heads back to the wall he was at and looked up. "Hmm." He hums. He then lifts his hands up and fires six grapple hook lines. All of them hooking onto the edges of the hole he fell through.
He stomps his feet and two globs of extremely sticky Blackburn spread out beneath him. He closed his fists and the blacklight dust wires began tightening. He released the Blackburn on his shoes and flinged himself up through the hole. Flying up to then fire another hook and swing off it to land on the top of the ladder. "What's up Bitches?" Ethan smirked as he looked at his teammates.
"Yeah yeah you show off." Darrick mutters as he continues climbing. Ethan chuckles as he ascends the ladder. 'Wonder how sis is doing?' He wonders.
And Scene.
