Chapter 2 Part 2: Kirigakure Academy years and Graduation

This took the students almost three months to learn now it was Killua's turn to train the class Sadoru had made it be known they would learn Financial Literacy during the last two years at the academy. Menma excelled at all Killua's way of teaching changed the change of pace caught most of the class off guard most importantly for last 5 months of the academy year they wouldn't be learning inside the classroom. For time-to-time Chunins and Jonins would stop by the "Bootcamp" as Yagura had called it the camp had tents, a mess hall, outside bathrooms that the kids had to burn every Sunday, and a shower area. Monday through Sunday the genins did different types of physical training those being Agile, Endurance, Speed, Explosive Strength, and Maximum strength by the first month most kids wanted to quit and hell some did making room for more kids that were in clan to join the class. In the second month Menma had brought out his nin animals to get more coordination with them Menma had three nin animals two three-year-old wolves and one panther who was hostile toward the other two which wasn't good however he had to deal with it because if he didn't he or one of his nin animals would be killed doing a battle. His senseis didn't help him and they told everyone else who didn't have a nin animal not to help him either and since he and Karin still weren't talking he had no help after two weeks he had seen the writing on the wall he knew that the panther would need to find a new home so he sent her to his god mother Orochimaru who promised to take good care of the giant cat. Menma had thought about what his sensei Gojo had said at the beginning of the year and just like he said all what they were taught indeed went hand in hand with each other. By the end of the second year Karin and Sun Yi stood out as the best two students in the classroom. Menma spent the whole month of November in Sunagakure his godmother was still paying for his lessons to control his magnet release. He couldn't wait to see his friend Gaara again he hoped that his friend would be able to make friends with other kids since last time he was there it seemed Gaara had no other friend besides him.

-Academy Year Three-

Toady was year three at the academy Menma was happy that he had made it passed the second year at the academy and that the third year promised more experience. This year his class would be allowed to take on D-rank missions and start learning Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Kenjutsu. While Menma already had his hands in all three this year he would be allowed to freely practice them without anyone stopping him. During the second year at the academy Menma and his core friends had spilt up due to multiple reasons. One after the second year at the academy Karin mother was discovered to have a life-threatening disease and she would only have another year to live so Karin had gone back to Otogakure to live with her mom and became a ninja over there. Two Menma and Suigetsu relationship never repaired after he instigated the fight between Menma and Broly on top of that the Hōzuki elders didn't want to take responsibility of the fact that one of their members caused an incident within another clan compound. The only person Menma still hung out with was Akiko. Two weeks after the incident Akiko and Menma had a sit-down conversation where she apologized about not telling him about her past and who she was related to she then promised not to lie to him again.

-Flashback-

In November Menma had gone back to Sunagakure to train under Rasa along with his three kids. Menma during this trip met Gaara's older siblings Temari and Kankuro both who feared their younger sibling and thought Menma was crazy for wanting to be friends with that monster. Kankuro took after his hero Sasori of the Red Sand while Temari took after their mother who unfortunately was cripped during a mission forcing her to retire from active duty. Rasa was a slave driver when it came down to training the four in magnet release however during this training it had turned out that Kankuro couldn't use magnet release at all unlike his younger siblings. Temari on the other hand could use it however it didn't come natural to her and she was having a difficult time keeping up with Menma and Gaara. After two weeks of training Rasa had informed Kankuro and Temari that they need not continue training with them and that their mother would take over while he trained Menma and Gaara. While training him Menma had reminded Rasa of the Third Kazekage with his use of Iron he had thought of asking no REQUIRING the boy to stay within the village however that would mess up the agreement between him and Orochimaru the money she was paying the man helped the village. After a whole month of training on his magnet release Menma had a better grasp on how to use it and due to his knowledge on Fuinjutsu Menma had sealed iron within the seal on his stomach unknowing causing it to multiply giving Menma an unlimited supply. (Author's Notes: Think the Aburame clan just with sand instead of bugs)

In December Orochimaru and Menma had spent the whole month together in Kirigakure although this did make Yagura and Utakata nervous for some unknown reason. Orochimaru during this time had Menma sign the Snake summoning contract although Manda didn't deem the boy strong enough and neither did any of the larger snakes. On Christmas morning Tsunade, Tenzo, and Shizune all had come to Kirigakure to celebrate Christmas. During Christmas Tsunade had asked Menma for the large scroll containing the compound when he had told her no and that he won it fair and square she had asked him to name his price which turned out to be 50 million dollars since there was a lot of knowledge within that compound. Tsunade had "Happily" given the brat the money however in turn required Tenzo and Anko had to live with him which Menma had no problems with since he like her however he didn't know Tenzo. Tsunade had informed Menma that as soon as he had become a Chunin she would personally train him however for now Tenzo would train him more to use his wood release.

-Flashback End-

Seeing that he was still in bed Menma looked over to his alarm clock to see what time it was upon seeing it was only 0600 hours he decided to spend some time with his wolf pack. He got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth then proceeded downstairs to wake up his pets. While quietly walking down the stairs he received memories of what was going on downstairs through his memory he saw that members of the Hoshigaki clan was in his kitchen.

"Good morning what are you all doing here?" asked Menma as he walked the kitchen.

"Well technically you're our leader so it's requirement that you have people watching over you twenty-four seven" said Sun Yi. After the incident Menma had gained a lot of respect from the Hoshigaki clan which caused Broly to leave the village and become a rogue ninja. Leadership in the clan was needed badly and Kisame Hoshigaki their second strongest was still outside the village on a mission and since Menma had beat Broly to the genins and a few chunin in the clan saw him as the new clan head while others didn't. This caused a problem in the clan since the elders and jonins of the clan didn't see he as their leader since he was a Hoshigaki by blood and by their clan laws only a full blooded Hoshigaki member could be clan head.

"I have that covered that's what clones are for and you know the elders would be mad if they heard you saying that" said Menma now sitting at the table while his friends.

"Clones aren't prefect they proof and disappear in one hit" said Neo.

"Well seems that you guys are unaware but clones have been watching us this whole time" said Tinashe who was sitting at the table sipping her coffee that she made.

"Understandable however rules are rules" said Nero

"Yeah however I must ask what are you guys doing up at this time in the morning?" asked Menma.

"Were you not listening to what the twins said?" asked Sun Yi.

"Yes however this house Is located outside the Hoshigaki clan and on top of that both of cousins stay here now mind you Anko isn't a morning person" said Menma.

"Wait Anko Mitarashi is your cousin?" asked both twins Neo/Nero.

"Adopted daughter of one Lady Orochimaru yes" replied Menma as he made clones to let the nin animals to use the bathroom.

Everyone looked at each other then back to Menma "We indeed do have much to discuss" said Tinashe.

"Well, I have animals to take care of so you need to walk and talk" replied Menma getting up and leaving the table.

"Speaking of why are you an off brand Inuzuka member?" asked Neo laughing.

"More like a bootleg copy of them" added Nero joining his brother in making fun of their friend.

This didn't affect Menma who just answered their question seriously "Their mother was killed by werewolf hunters just like in Konoha were hunter kill foxes for sport" replied Menma leaving both twins stun.

Before anyone could say anything pillars of wood came of the ground surrounding the visitors "What the hell Menma?" said Tinashe whose coffee spilled on her.

"It is six in the morning and you are all loud as hell get the fuck out of here before I cut you open" said a pissed off Anko who head Tenzo behind her in full anbu gear.

"We're sorry let's go walk the wolves" said Menma as Tenzo let the group go.

-Outside the house-

"They aren't morning people I see" said Akiko.

"No no they are not" answered Menma remembering being chased by Anko a hand full of times for being loud. The group was looking over the number of wolves and playing with the pups a question popped up and Sun Yi mind so he asked, "How many wolves do you have?".

"Menma thought about it for a second then answered "Most of them had been relocated to The Land of Grass and Rice while here I have two Werewolves, five wolves and ten pups" stated Menma. He said the next question coming so he just answered it "The difference between Werewolves and Wolves are a couple of things: One Werewolves are larger, two Werewolves are rare in wolves and are the third and strongest form of the wolf species, and three while there is a wolf and werewolf contract is it hard to become a summoner for them".

"Are you going to train them to be nin animals?" asked Sun Yi who was eyeing a certain wolf.

"Right now, no not till they get older" said Leo Sr walking pass the group.

"Good Morning Leo Sr" said the group

"Menma-San you have training to do if you going to understand our language you need to put in the work so that when you get you new partner you can work together" stated Leo Sr.

"Sorry guys I have training to do I'll have to talk to you in an hour" said Menma as he and Leo Sr walked off.

-Timeskip-

After an hour of trying to talk to his pups and wolves he got better at enacting with his animals he wasn't prefect however he was getting there slowly. Thirty minutes later he had made breakfast for everyone and did some cardio training before school. Today after school Menma would go talk to the Mizukage about possibly buying land for the to place his compound that he built from the money Tsunade and Orochimaru give him however Sun Yi had told Menma that he needed to bring up the land problem before school since there are selling like fresh donuts in the morning. At eight thirty Menma, Akiko, and Sun Yi had headed the Mizukage office while Tinashe, Nero, and Neo headed to the academy. Once getting there the lady at the front desk had informed Yagura that Menma was there he had told her he was in a meeting and that he would have wait a good twenty minutes.

-Twenty minutes later-

"Good morning Menma and …friends" said Yagura. He had been making to talk to the boy and when his front desk lady told him that Menma was here he got happy.

"Good Mizukage and Utakata-sama" replied the group.

"Today is the first day of the academy what are you doing here?" asked Yagura.

"I am here to buy land within the Land of Water" stated Menma.

"For?" replied Yagura.

"To live and train in private preferable an island so that I can train in peace without causing too much damage" said Menma.

Yagura looked at Utakata who looked back he then turned back to Menma "You do know only a clan head can request land for a compound and you sir are not even a genin yet" said Yagura.

"Also, while you are an honorary Hoshigaki member it's only by name not by blood" added Utakata.

"Menma is one of us and he is our leader" said Sun Yi who was outraged by what he just heard.

"Exactly what he said" said Akiko.

"Kisame Hoshigaki is your clan head Menma here is your leader to you lot" corrected Utakata.

"To be clearer Menma while you can buy land for yourself rules say you need to be a chunin before you can become a clan head or buy land for a clan compound" said the Mizukage. This deflated Menma however Yagura had some good bad news "However there is land for you already brought however it going to cost you forty-five million".

"FORTY-FIVE MILLION" said the group.

"Yes it owned by one Tsunade Senju" said Yagura who had smile on his face.

Once he said that Menma and Akiko knew this was pay back from Tsunade however when he thought about it he knew this would be a good chance to train in peace. "Tell my grandmother Tsunade I'll take it" said Menma with an evil smile.

"Before you ask if members of the Hoshigaki clan move in the compound will be destroyed" informed Yagura.

"Well, I want land to placed down my houses I got from my inheritance" said Menma.

"That we can do" said the Mizukage as he placed a contract for a land on the table.

Taking a good look at the land Sun Yi knew where it was located at "Menma that is a large island" said Sun Yi.

"Okay now that we are done here you need to head to the academy" said Yagura.

-Timeskip-

For the first day everyone just caught up which was boring it was now time to go to the island Menma brought earlier. First he had to go to the compound to pack his stuff and hand over his house keys in the elders no he wasn't leaving the clan he just was leaving the compound. The elders understood why the boy needed his own land the jutsu he preformed cost them hell of money to fix and replace after he was training. Once making it to the island Menma and friend saw that indeed it was large he had almost 50 acres of land however most of it was full of dead tree and few lakes. Menma had made over three thousand clones to clean up the island and mark where the lakes where at. After three hours of cleaning and marking Menma knew where he would everything at he then proceeded to take out the scroll which contained: Three large houses, five medium houses, and four small houses. Menma made clones and had half of them go buy some equipment for the training grounds he was going to make while having the other half put the furniture from the scrolls in the houses. Three hours later and Menma had he own little compound Tenzo and Anko had their own houses and there were now training grounds for Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, a building for Fuinjutsu, and a building for his nin animals. While the compound wasn't the largest Tenzo and Menma made new trees for the compound which only covered thirty acres because they made more houses for future new members. The rest of the island was full of large poisonous trees and animals that Orochimaru had tested on they made sure that it wouldn't be easy getting to the Namikaze-Uzumaki compound.

-January and February -

The first two months at the academy had been boring when they were told they would be doing D-rank mission within the village they were happy however after doing these types of missions for a week their mood changed. What was worse was the fact that they were required to do 120 D-ranks and they weren't allowed to pick who they would be teamed up with which caused failed mission for one reason or another Menma didn't have these problems even when he was teamed up with Suigetsu. When the class asked why they were forced to do meaningless missions their senseis told them they could quit or stop bitching. The only good thing was that they were getting paid and they saw that their hard work was paying off the village was looking better although people like Menma and Suigetsu still felt like this was a waste of their goddamn time they endured. For the remaining of the months, they were required to keep doing the D-rank missions on the last day Killua and Satoru told them that next month they would work on Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Kenjutsu as they promised the class was happy to hear this.

-March and April-

On the first day of March the class met their senseis on an island an hour away from Kirigakure all the students had recognized where they were because they had cleaned it before.

"Today we will find out what affinities you have here are some charka papers" said Killua.

"How it works is that if it catches on fire and turns to ash you have fire, if it splits in half you have wind which is rare, if it wrinkles you have lighting, if it turns to dirt and crumbles you have earth, and if it is water it'll become damp knowing some of you you'll have more than one or two so we have a tool for that as well" said Satoru.

"Let's go by clans Yuki clan you are up first" said Killua.

All nine members of the Yuki clan grabbed their papers and just like they thought they all have wind and water which with a long with their kekkei genkai.

"Up next is the Hōzuki clan" said Satoru.

All 11 members of the Hōzuki clan grabbed their papers and most of them had only a water affinity however Suigetsu had a second affinity of earth.

"Shocking but not too shocking now on to the Hoshigaki clan" said Killua.

When the largest group that being the Hoshigaki clan walked up they told Menma to go last since he had showed he had a few kekkei genkais. Most members of the clan had a water affinity however some had earth some had fire and others had lighting. When it was Menma's turn he poured his charka into the paper it glowed and blew it when he was given another paper his sensei Killua told him to use less charka this time however just like the first time it blew up again.

Killua had then handed Menma a tool which was a spiller which spills the affinities of the person using it shows everything they could do with the element and how long it was. Killua had Menma move away from the group then told him to go down the list of elements starting with fire. When Menma did the ram hand sign the color of the fire was white and from what the device said he was level 25 out of 250 which meant he could be a master at fire jutsus. After a minute he proceed to test his wind element which showed he was 10 out of 80 which was kind of disappointing. Next was lighting which showed 5 out of 60 this had to be Menma weakest element so far. When he placed his hand it the ram seal for and channeled Earth it was a little shocking it damn near caused an earthquake the device showed a level of 50 out of 200 which to Killua was odd because it should only go up to hundred and having two elements over hundred should've been impossible. The last one was water which showed a normal over all of 100 however a low level of 5 which Menma was kind of embarrassed about since he hadn't work on water jutsu for some time.

Killua had given the device to the rest of the class so they could see their potential he then proceed to tell Menma to go in the water and test his Kekkei genkais. Killua then moved out the way and Menma did the ram hand with the limiter on his charka when he did a circle of flames started heating up the ground burning sand around Menma feet. A minute later explosions blow up the ground making a crater in the ground inside the cater he saw lava and a poisonous gas coming from it which had his classmates and senseis backing up from the area. Sadoru had Menma stop and move into the water while they tried to put out the lava and get rid of the smell. When Menma went into the water he put his hands back into the ram sign after a minute of channeling his charka he felt something weird like a cold icy chill this caught the attention of the Yuki clan who started to walk toward the boy like something was calling them. After a few more minutes the water around him froze thankfully grass that small fish and other animals usually ate on grew out of the water creating a small forest however the poisonous smell was back again although this time no one else could really smell it.

The Yuki members all look at each other and knew for sure that they would be telling their clan head about what happened in class today as for Killua and Sadoru they knew he was powerful however they didn't know how powerful he was. Half of his classmates and even some of clansmen was looking at him with fear now seeing how powerful the boy was after Killua and Sadoru had gotten them calm they then went over the three jutsu they would need to know to graduate to become genins those being: the Hiding in Mist Technique, Water Clone Jutsu, the Water bullet technique and lastly the Water Dragon Jutsu.

When Killua and Sadoru had walked over to stop Menma from pouring out his charka one of Yuki members stopped them and informed them that the water was now below zero degrees. Not truly worrying about the temperature of the water Killua using his lighting armor and tried to run across the water however the icy water stopped the lighting from channeling around him. When Sadoru tried it had seemed like the water was trying to grab the man from running on the water once he started going close Eris Yuki had to appeared in front of him within a mirror and save him when asked why he did that Eris had pointed at the back of his clothes and Sadoru noticed he couldn't really feel his legs when he looked down his saw he legs looked purple and a little burnt.

"Someone heal his legs and someone go get Utakata and while someone else get Mei!" yelled Killua while still looking at Menma.

-Five minutes later-

When Utakata and Mei had showed up to the island they both had saw the problems Menma was still channeling charka now unconsciously which was continuously freezing the water in ocean which was spreading dangerously, the cater on the island was still burning, Sadoru legs wasn't healing too well, and there was poisonous gas in the air now.

"What happened here?" asked Mei

"Well, we were going over chakra natures and well this ended up happening" said Killua

"You two do know that he contains special charka?" asked Utakata

Killua and Sadoru faces looked shocked which had both Mei and Utakata both shaking their heads at the two world elite assassins. "Damnit Yagura" thought both Mei and Utakata.

"Okay Mei let's take care of the cater first then get Menma from there" said Utakata

"Okay" replied Mei

-Inside of Menma's head-

Menma had passed out a while ago and now he was walking inside of a forest however the leaves on the half of the trees were on fire and others were covered with metal. Weirdly there was an icy chill in the air that was mixed with a poisonous smell oddly none of this bothered Menma's senses. After walking around for a while, he found his charka coils that looked odd he saw that there are six of them of them. They were also labeled the first coil was his and was large it had purple charka with red charka being poured into it however it had a small crack in it at the bottom. There was a smaller coil right under his that was catching the charka that was being leaked which didn't seem right to Menma. There was a small orangish reddish coil and yellow charka coil however it seemed like those couldn't be accessed or touched without a key or something. The last two were the largest one was green and the other was red both were calling out to him but at the same time saying "Choice me not him" to Menma it seemed that the both of them belonged to him and he planned on using them someday. Before he touched one of them he heard two voices coming from a different part of the forest so he started walking that way towards the voices since he recognized them. Five minutes later he saw a giant fox and monkey however the monkey looked smaller than the fox they both immediately noticed him.

"Well look who it is" said Kurama.

"Kurama-sama Son Goku- sama what am I doing it here?" asked Menma.

"You passed out" answered Son Goku nervously Menma didn't caught this however Karama did.

"I have a question why does it look like this and what's going on with my coils?" asked Menma.

"Well, this is your mind it's a poisonous forest I believe you naturally had a poison kekkei genkai as for the others they either came from us or from the experiment your godmother Orochimaru did on you. As for your coils follow me and I'll point them out for you." said Kurama as he and Menma walked towards the coils. Once making it over to the coil he further explained "Your charka coils are physical and spiritual energy that connect the more density your coils are the more you have as for you your body is a little different you were blessed by Yami".

"Hey Kurama-sama why is that coil leaking" said Menma pointing at his charka coil that is cracked.

Kurama looked at where Menma was pointing and indeed saw that there was a crack in the coil immediately he knew who had done this. "I will take care of this for you" said Kurama.

"What about the green one?" asked Menma.

"That's Senjutsu charka something shouldn't worry about until you are older" stated Kurama.

"The green one and the red one are both calling out to me to use them" said Menma.

"Use the red one always use the red one there is no need for the green one" said Kurama while a wicked smile on this face.

"Let me guess the red one is yours?" asked Menma to this Kurama nodded yes.

"Our charka is destined to be intertwined honestly I was already supposed to be however something went wrong" said Kurama eyeing the coils.

"Well, I will fix this" said Yami appearing in front Menma and placing her hand on his chest. Menma's body started to glow and he felt pain like he never felt before his charka coils boosted ten-fold however the price was that his control over his charka was shit now also he physically went through same changes as well.

"Wait what do you m-" said Kurama however as he said that he noticed that the poisonous gas was gone, the trees in the area were no longer on fire nor had metal on them. When Kurama looked at himself he noticed he was in a human body with nine tails behind him. He started walking around to see what all Yami had done to Menma's body. After walking around, he found the charka coils and there was a small being in a chair to make sure they weren't touched so Kurama decided to talk to him.

"Hey, you no touching the coils" said the being

"And who are you?" asked Kurama

"I am Sam I have been sent by Yami-sama to make sure the translation goes good" replied Sam

"What's going to happen?" asked Kurama

"I'll tell you since you'll be here longer than I will be follow me "said Samas he showed him the new coils. The first coil he showed him were small yellow and orange coils "These are the charkas of his parent'sfor some reason we can't get rid of them" said Sam as he continued walking. "Now these next ones are different" said Sam as he stopped and looked at Kurama.

"What do you mean and aren't me and Menma's charka intertwined?" asked Kurama.

"Not anymore and by the time he's done he'll have the power of a tailed beast while you will be a Summoning animal don't ask about your buddy he'll be going somewhere different" said Sam.

"Excuse you say that one more time" said Kurama who looked confused trying to make sure he heard that right.

However, Sam just started walking away to the next energy sources after catching up before he could say anything he saw a red, green, black, purple, white and an empty coil. "Wait what are those?" asked Kurama.

"The red one is yours, the green one is Senjutsu charka, the purple is his which is being fixed at the moment, the black and white one you shouldn't worry about" answered Sam

"And the empty one?" asked Kurama.

"As you see is small and slim right now he has not control of his charka so he has to start all the way over" replied Sam.

As they walked they heard something that was shaking the ground under them. "What is that?" asked Kurama who was unknowingly shaking. Sam looked Kurama deep in the eyes "This next one should NEVER be touched unless in a LIFE OR DEATH fight" said Sam. This interested Kurama however he had a question in his head as to where Son Goku was at. However, as he was walking he felt a wicked ungodly power coming from far away as he and Sam kept walking they got to a door which Sam opened and then they walked to another door which he opened. After four more door they finally got to the power source which was a turned out to be a something in the form of a human.

"I AM THE PHOENIX" said the thing of energy.

Sam quickly closed the door and turned to Kurama "So bad news Menma has been given the power of a Phoenix which Phoenix I wasn't told however by his eighteen birth he will need to fight this phoenix only he can defeat it it's not a person it's a another being of energy most correctly it's a being of evil energy" said Sam.

"Question where is Son Goku?" asked Kurama

"I just said not to ask about Son Goku" said Sam slapping Kurama on the forehead." He's the main reason why you're in this mess he was supposed to be sealed with this body somehow he got away from Yami and was stealing chakra from this container as of right now we don't know where he is at however he only has one tail of power also this container is not the only one with the power of a phoenix there are others" said Sam.

"That doesn't answer my question" said Kurama.

"Well goodbye now I have work to do" said Sam before disappearing.

"Damnit the kit is definitely going to need me more than ever" said Kurama walking trying to find his house with the mindscape.

-Outside the mindscape-

Mei abandoned the cater of lava since the smell had gone away and the lava wasn't hurting anyone so she now was trying to get to her and Utakata student. After 10 minutes of trying to find a way out there they saw that Menma's body dropped a moment later a bright light omitted it looked like Menma's was on fire. Taking a closer look and indeed his body was on fire not burning more like being covered by the fire which burned the ice in the water and the trees the odd thing was that his fire was blue. When they stepped on the water it still felt kind of cold however the water wasn't attacking them this time it still took them a minute to get over to the boy. Picking Menma up they quickly took him and Sadoru to the hospital while Killua got the attention of the class to train them on the jutsus they needed to learn.

-Time skip two weeks later-

Two weeks later Menma finally woke up looking around he saw that he was surrounded by Orochimaru, Tsunade, his friends, Anko and Tenzo. Once he started to sit up Akiko was the first to wake up and she shook everyone else up when they saw his face they noticed he looked different.

"Are you guys sure this is Menma because he sure doesn't look like him" said Anko who was on a mission.

"Anko-nee… I.. am. Menma?" said Menma who was confused.

"Kit do you remember what happened?" asked Kurama.

Menma thought about it he remembered something being wrong with his charka coils but didn't remember anything else "No not really" thought Menma.

"I'll inform you later" said Kurama.

"Can someone bring me a mirror?" asked Menma.

"Sure" said Tinashe handing him a mirror.

What Menma saw that none of the changes he went through wasn't small. Menma who was only thirteen looked like he was sixteen meaning he lost all the baby fat off his face and when he lifted the covers he saw that he lost all the baby fat off his body as well. But back to his face his hair and eyes changed his hair was now a medium length Crimson red with Jet black highlights and his eyes were both now pink with yellow pupils. He tried to get up but was stopped by everyone in the room.

"Aye Menma my boy my main man you're not wearing clothes" said Nero.

"Where are my clothes?" asked Menma.

Just then someone walked in the room "Well then brat nice to see you are finally up" said voice Menma knew.

"Lady Tsunade it's so good to see you!" said Menma who was happy to see his godmother she walked over and hugged her godson.

"You look different since I last seen you I'm going to need you all to leave so I can do my job" said Tsunade.

"Alright let's go guys we'll see you later Menma" said Neo.

"Alright how are you feeling?" asked Tsunade as she went over with her glowing green hands.

"I feel better honestly although I am hungry" said Menma.

"Well, I will bring you some food" said Tsunade.

"How did you find out I was in the hospital?" asked Menma.

"I am currently living in the Land of Waves right now with Shizune but let's get you some hospital clothes" replied Tsunade.

"For food?" asked Menma happily.

"Yes however no raw meat" said Tsunade.

"Alright" said Menma.

-Hours later-

2 hours later Menma and Tsunade was sitting at restaurant talking about their lives and Menma was ordering everything on the menu from burritos to chicken over rice, to hamburgers, and even some ramen. After eating Menma and Tsunade had gone to the bloody kunai to grab ninja equipment and clothes. During clothes shopping Menma had found out that he was now 5'10 and had an 8-pack abs. Menma brought 100 short sheeve shirt, 100 tank tops, 100 long sheeve shirts, 50 muscle shirts, 50 coats and 50 jackets, 200 training sweatsuits, 50 boots, 50 slides, 1000 kunais, and 1000 charka papers. He still had the unopened boxes from the shop he got a while back and the inherence from his parents.

-May, June, and July-

In May almost everyone in the class had gotten down the jutsus they that they needed to know so Killua and Sadoru decided to have them work on their Taijutsu and Kenjutsu something most of the students weren't that good at. Menma for the next two months wasn't allowed back at the academy he had started all the way back over thankfully he knew the Shadow Clone Technique when he went through the hand signs he made over 5000 clones something he wasn't trying to do.

"Well then Menma looks like you really need to work on that charka control good thing I'm here I'll be training you for the next two months" said Tsunade

"Hey, I'm here to you know" said Orochimaru.

"We'll help as well" said Shizune and Tenzo.

Everyone grabbed 1250 clones each while Menma stayed with Tsunade so she could watch over him.

-Tsunade's Group-

Something told Menma that he was going to die before those two months were over. "Okay so I'm going to have 250 of you walking tree walking over there, another 500 of you will be water walking and the 250 will be channeling your charka around different body parts slowly" said Tsunade. She then turned to Menma "You will take 250 clones and they will work on this while you relax" as she handed him scroll from the Nara clan.

"May I ask why?" asked Menma.

"Because you're going to receive a lot of memories most of them you won't need so ask your tailed beast to help you" replied Tsunade.

"I got you kit however I have something to tell you once you get stronger" said Kurama.

"Alright" replied Menma who now in a meditative position as his clone carried him.

-Orochimaru's Group-

After 10 minutes Orochimaru found a spot she could use "Okay now that we are here you will be relearning jutsus and learning ones as well I know you have some Senjutsu charka wit in you so no breaks" said Orochimaru as she handed the clones E to C ranked jutsus. She then sent a clone to ask for more clones after five minutes she had 1000 more clones "You guys will be learning the Snake Kata" said Orochimaru who showed them how to do it then walked around correcting them.

-Tenzo's group-

"I want 500 of you working on this Kata style it is one the Senju clan uses while the rest of you will be with me learning Wood release" said Tenzo as he handed the scroll to the first group and took the second group a mile away from the first group. After a while Tenzo had one of the dispel so it could send a message to Menma that he needed more clone it only took five minutes for the clones to get there and replace the ones who dispelled.

-Shizune's Group-

"So, I really don't know what to teach you guys however if guys want to work on anything until I think of something go ahead and do that" said Shizune who took a thinking pose. After she said that the clone got into two different group one group worked on the Royal Uzumaki fist and the other group walked on his magnet release.

-5 Hours later

Out of the 8000 clones that was made in the last five hours only 200 clones were left Kurama and Menma had gone through and got rid of all the memories that didn't help him and kept the ones that did. Menma was right about Tsunade, Orochimaru and Tenzo all three had worked his clones to the bone and he felt it which was unusual. After doing some test they had found out his clones were more durable and while he didn't gain the physical muscle he did gain the cardio and endurance of his clones physical training. Once Tsunade's first group got down the tree walking and water walking down she had them fight on the surfaces after a good ten minutes the clones had gotten down the exercise. With Orochimaru during her time training Menma's clones had to be given new clothes every hour until the third hour wither it was from them burning another clone, burning themselves, or just using too much charka they kept proofing. With Tenzo's group they had gotten down the basic movements of the Senju's kata style and he had learned that Menma's wood release and poison release were connected to each other which wasn't good since that meant that when he used it his teammates would have to be out the area and there would need to be an antibiotic made just in case. The group that Shizune was training ended up working on two katas they already knew one the Uzumaki Royal Fist and the other was an old fighting style called Chi-Blocking to Shizune it looked painful because after striking a limb multiple times that limb would just hang and the person who was affected couldn't use it for some time.

It took the two weeks for Menma to get back in the rhythm and adject to his new body and height. After two weeks Tsunade had to leave she had an important job somewhere else and said it was a surprise and that she would train him there once he became a Chunin however before leaving she give him a training regimen. She had Menma pushing boulders, lifting weights, running laps around the island, and everything else she had to do as a genin. This went on for the months of May and June by the beginning of July he had great control of his charka and he had relearned all the jutsus he knew most of them were water jutsu since he lived in Water country. He couldn't wait to go back to Sunagakure so he could see Gaara and Rasa so he could train with them again.

-July-

In July Menma had rejoined his classmates he didn't get the warmest welcome back it was more like "Hey Hoshigaki-San welcome back" it was formal and most of them had a hint of fear within it. Hell, even most of his own clansman feared him however they didn't try to show it, some even flat out tried to fight him they lost most times they had respected him while most started to train with him. During this month Killua and Sadoru took notices of the color of Menma's charka where it used to be a greenish color now had purple in it they also noticed that Menma was able to heal his classmates without that many problems. He's charka still had Senjutsu in it however it was mixed in with regular charka and tailed beast charka Menma had work hard getting his charka under control. Two weeks later the class was tested on the four jutsus they were supposed to know. Everyone was able to do the Water Clone Jutsu and the Water Bullet however when come down to the Hidden in The Mist and Water Dragon Jutsu only a few classmen could do the Hidden in The Mist jutsu and only Menma could do all four. For the rest the month the class worked on the four jutsus and Menma worked on his Fuinjutsu and his Katas.

-August and September-

August 1st was one of the worse days for the Mizukage and the clan heads had demanded council with the Mizukage over a certain topic. In the room there where the clan's heads, Elders of the village, and the Mizukage which was the following:

Kisame Hoshigaki is a very tall, muscular shinobi, and was the tallest member in his clan. He has a distinctive shark-like appearance, complete with pale, blue-grey green skin. He has small, round, white eyes, 3 sets of curved facial markings under his eyes, gills on his shoulders, and sharp triangular teeth, the latter of which is a shared trait amongst most of the other members of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. He also styled his blue hair in the form of a shark fin. While in Kirigakure he sported the standard outfit of the village, complete with a flak jacket and a forehead protector. Now, he donned what appears to be the standard attire of the Seven Swordsmen which consists of: a dark sleeveless shirt paired with matching pants, provided with a waist guard, and striped arm and leg-warmers typical of his village. He also switched to a modified version of Kirigakure's forehead protector, which covered his ears as well. He also wore a brown sash across the front and back of his cloak to hold Samehada in place.

Mangetsu Hōzuki has purple eyes, shoulder-length, white-colored hair and pointed, shark-like teeth a trait which members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist possess. He wore an outfit very similar to his brother's, which consisted of a black, sleeveless shirt, light-purple-colored pants, and striped leg-warmers typical of his village. Like his brother, he carried a water bottle attached to a belt around his waist and wore bandages around his neck — another trait shared by the seven swordsmen — and the standard Kirigakure forehead protector. Overall, Mangetsu and Suigetsu bore great resemblance to one another.

Kaori Yuki is a tan-skinned young woman with long, black hair that was loosely hung. She also had short bangs that part to the right, brushing over her brows with collarbone-length locks framing her heart-shaped face. Her attire consisted of a simple, Sky Blue kimono with white doves and roses on the dress, she wore icy white slides that had diamonds on them.

Ren Kaguya had pale skin, masculine features with a viscous look in his eyes, two red dots on his forehead that all members of the clan possess, black hair tied and arranged in that two tight strands, like sideburns and a zigzag pattern on the cranial part. His attire consisted of a long sleeve shirt with a sleeveless kimono over it.

"Well now that every clan head is here Kaori you called for this meeting what's the problem?" asked the Mizukage.

"Who are Menma's parents?" asked Kaori.

"Yes I was wondering this as well because-" said Mangetsu.

"Fuck Menma when are we going to war with someone?" asked Ren.

"Isn't that the reason your clan is so small right now?" asked Mangetsu looking the man in the windows of his soul which scared the Ren.

"Welp he's on quiet mode but back to the main topic which is about Menma" stated Kaori.

"Menma is the son of Kushina Uzumaki we do not know his father however we do know that he was from the Namikaze clan" said Yagura.

"Could Minato be the boy's father?" asked Kisame who know of the yellow flash.

"Probably however as you know the Namikaze clan were known for their speed and their smarts so we have been watching the boy" said Utakata.

"Because of his high usage of Hyoton we demand Menma be placed within our clan" said Kaori.

"Not this shit again" said Ao who was named one of the elders.

"Why do you even want him in your clan? you haven't care for the boy until he showed an ice kekkei genkai" replied Kisame.

"When he showed up here we asked to adopt him into our clan" stated Kaori.

"Menma is only a Hoshigaki by name as for him being adopted that never happened the Yuki clan had its opportunity to befriend Menma and they didn't" informed Utakata.

"Also, it's not happening what even makes you think you should have him?" asked Kisame.

"He has our kekkei genkai" answered Kaori.

"Correction he has a number of kekkei genkai and he hasn't used his ice since that day" said Kisame.

Taking a deep breath, she composed herself "What I am trying to say is that for months we have tried to Menma to train with us and the Hoshigaki clan has blocked every attempt" said Kaori.

"Did your clan really put you in charge of them like they voted for you?" asked Ren.

"I must agree where is your husband, your brother, or Uncle someone who has sense?" asked Mangetsu.

"Alright stop Kaori has a point if the Yuki clan wants to help Menma control his kekkei genkai they shouldn't have to jump through hoops" said Ao.

"Thank you Ao-sama we are just trying to protect the village" said Kaori before she was stopped.

"I do have question though Kaori you are a chunin within the village not a Jonin why is that?" asked Ao.

"I had two kids and decided to be a mother to my two kids" answered Kaori.

"And you let Zubuza take them out of the village and now he's a missing nin and so are your two kids" stated Mangetsu.

"You leave my kids out of this!" demanded Kaori.

"Fine however you need to act like a clan head as for the training of Menma you as allowed to do it I will tell me clan to allow your clan to teach him although he doesn't live in the compound anymore and his island is very dangerous to be near" said Kisame.

"The problem is none of the kids from different clan hang out with each other" said Utakata who had been to the academy and noticed this.

"Another topic we need to discuss is how many members does everyone have" said Yagura.

"In total we have 400 members, 100 Jonins, 150 chunins, 100 genins, and 50 kids in the academy" said Kisame.

"I'm glad my clan isn't the only ones that's like that we have 300 members 100 Jonins, 100 chunins, and 50 genins and the last 50 are also in the academy" said Mangetsu.

"My clan has 500 members 50 Chunins, 25 genins and 30 kids in the academy" said Kaori.

"Only 105 members out of 500 are in the ninja system what the hell are the other 395 members doing?" asked Kisame.

"Living normal lives…" said Kaori before the Mizukage and the other clan head leaked KI at her.

"By the end of this day every Yuki member needs to be tested to see where their power level is at and be registered as a ninja within the village" said Yagura.

"Yes Mizukage-sama" said Kaori.

"Kaori please leave the room and do that now we need all hands-on deck" said Utakata.

Kaori got up and left the room "Why the hell is she clan head" said Ao not really asking anyone

"No one know but anyways the Kaguya clan have 100 members total 70 Jonins, 10 Chunins and 10 genins the rest are kids and pregnant women" said Ren.

-Time skip two weeks-

Solo Yuki took control of the Yuki clan unlike his sister he had encouraged his clan to join the ranks which improved the power within the village. Another thing he did was sent ninjas to recover his niece Haku and his nephew Jai who was the son of Zubuza Momochi. After a week of searching, they found Haku with her brother Jai however Zubuza had killed many of the members. Solo like his sister did request to train Menma which was allowed but that wasn't the only request he had.

-In the Mizukage office-

"Well then I see the Yuki clan has a new clan head finally" said Yagura

"Yes I took over for my sister and as clan head I will have my members join the shinobi ranks but I have two requests" said Solo

"Name them" replied Yagura

"One I see Menma's kekkei genkai as a threat if not trained properly so I request my clan train him" said Solo

"Understandable what's the second request?" asked Utakata

"We have members in the Land of Snow who had seen my sister's kids I want to send a team to retrieve them" said Solo

"You want to send your members after Zubuza one the seven-member swordmen?" asked Yagura

"Yes they will do it" said Solo

"Sure, I will not stop you nor your clan" replied Yagura

-Over with Menma-

Time skip to September 1st Menma was required by the Mizukage to train with the Yuki clan at first the Hoshigaki clan caused an uproar however after Kisame said he approved it they had no choice but to allow it to happen. During the first week of Menma new training he flat out sucked not only that but the Yuki clan elders thought that everyone was lying about the boy having the Hyoton kekkei genkai. It wasn't until the second week of the training that Menma showed the ability to use Hyoton although it was quickly noticed that his ice was at subzero temperatures and it had a dark purple color to it. The elders take special interest in teaching the boy and was trying to learn how to get their ice that demonic however they couldn't which upset some members while the others accepted it. For the rest of the month Menma and his classmates worked hard getting prepared for their last year at the Academy.

In October Killua had made it known that he and Sadoru would be teaching all the way through December. This had confused everyone knowing that usually they got off November and December when they asked why Killua informed them that year four be totally different for the last three years. Sadoru informed them that in year four they were all required to complete 15 C-rank missions and 5 B-rank missions by June of next year or complete the boot camp training either way they would be placed outside of the village and told not to return until June 1st. Most of the class said they thought they did complete it but the keyword was "Thought" both sensei invited anyone who couldn't do the required missions SOLO to come to the camp. The word solo caught everyone's attention it was further explained that these the five B-rank missions were to be done solo with a team. To the sensei it the further would it to sink in that their students would have to do missions solo without a team that means No friends, No Senseis, No Nin Animals, no nothing just you, the stuff you pack on your trip, and the required missions. For the rest of the year the class was put through hell with two people flat out quitting because they were required to train without using any charka.

-Year 4 at the academy-

At the start of the new year all the year four academy students were at the front of gates. As they were told by their senseis they were to complete the 15 C-ranks and 5 B-ranks before returning to the village. All 400 students were there most of them Menma didn't know however they definitely knew of him. All the students were informed to stay within the Land of Water if they wanted to not be killed although what was the fun in that. Two hundred of the students had decided to stay within the village because they would be allowed to train with their clan members however was required to do the bootcamp. The other half which includes Menma and his new core friends decided to leave take training trips for most the year.

For the first two months Menma had went to train with Rasa and Gaara in Sunagakure to work on his Magnet release they also eventually work on Gaara's problem with her tailed beast. (Author's note: Yes Gaara is a girl in this one) Rasa saw a possibility that his baby girl and this boy could end up having powerful kids in the future a future that he indeed wanted to see. While in Sunagakure he also had worked on his Wood release by creating a forest with a small lake however this also created a huge problem desert snake, Scorpions, lizards and even cougars now inhabited the forest which now surround the village making it a little harder to safely make it to the village. Menma also doing this two month's time had done the required C-rank missions Yagura wasn't happy that he didn't that in the Land of Wind however he accepted the fact that Menma had did what was asked of him.

After spending the first two months in Sunagakure he then left to go to Otogakure to spend more time with Lady Orochimaru he's godmother to learn more E to C rank jutsus. Last year he had learned up to B rank Water jutsus and up to C rank jutsus in Fire however when it came down to the Lighting, Earth, and Wind jutsus he knew little to nothing so he was going to use this time to learn some. After a month of Menma using his clones he had learned many jutsus in the other three elements however his godmother had told him that there is a difference between knowing a jutsu and mastering a jutsu so for the next month Menma had worked on mastering the jutsus he knew which didn't come easy. Orochimaru had told Menma that he had needed to stay an extra month to master every jutsu he knows or learns on top of that he had a dojutsu that he still couldn't activate which was disappointing to Orochimaru who expected her godson to active his dojutsu by now. After another month of being trained by Orochimaru until he felt dead repeatedly he was finally able to activate his dojutsu which made everyone pride that all the work they put in finally paid off however many was wondering why it looked similar to the sharingan.

A week later while traveling back to the Land of Water he had run into Shikamaru Nara and his team for some reason they were in the Land of Water and Menma knew that if someone else found them they would immediately kill them for trespassing. Menma had decided to take them to Kirigakure so they could get proper medical treatment although it in his mind he was thinking "What the hell are you guys doing out here".

-10 hours later-

Menma had showed up at the tower and after waiting 15 minutes he got to see the Mizukage to inform him of the problem.

"Oi Mizukage-sama we have a slight problem" said Menma.

"And what is that problem?" asked Yagura.

"The Hokage's son and his team was found within the Land of Water by me" said Menma.

"Did you kill them?" asked the Mizukage.

"No, they were knocked out when I found them" replied Menma.

"I will send word to Konoha is there anything you want from them?" asked the Mizukage.

"The rest of my inheritance would be nice" said Menma.

"I will put that in my letter the money will be added to your account once we get it" said Yagura.

"Thank you Mizukage-sama I will be on my way" said Menma as he started walking towards the door.

"You have only 45 days to complete four B-rank missions" replied Yagura as he got back to his paperwork.

-Time skip-

Today was the day of graduation everyone was told to that the test will happening on an island where they can use everything they learned without holding back. The test originally was supposed to take place where they had the bootcamp at. However, over the last two years the boot camp as became a symbol of the academy many second-year student had ended up quitting during this year because of how hard it was. Today Killua and Sadoru would be testing their students on everything they taught them hoping that everyone passed so they could get a bonus check.

"Alright welcome back nice to see you as well for those who stayed here I know what you can do and can't but do try your best for the rest of you good luck" Said Sadoru.

"Alright I'm only going to say this once the first test will be on Taijutsu you will be fighting against one a chunin from your clan the way to pass is if you A: you beat them or B: you survive 3 minutes with them, the second test is Genjutsu you will need to break out of it in under 30 seconds to pass, the third test is on Kenjutsu and Bukijutsu you'll be going up against a clone of ours and you'll need to beat it using the Human Anatomy you were taught, the fourth test is on the 4 jutsus you needed to know last year, and the last test is an endurance test which will deal with your speed and strength" said Killua.

"I think you should start with the endurance test first" said the Mizukage.

"Excellent idea everyone you have 2 hours to do 1000 push-ups, 500 sit-ups, 400 jumping jacks, and you will have to complete a 10-mile run starting now" said Killua. Once he was done everyone started their test wither it the push-ups, the 10-mile run or whatever they knew if they complained they would just added more so they just did it.

-2 hours and 30 minutes later-

45 out the 50 students had passed the endurance test the other five student had done good however they didn't complete the test in time this would hurt them if they failed another test.

"Alright get your asses up we now see who has been slacking this year and who has kept up their training" said Sadoru.

"On to the now test which will be Taijutsu" said Killua.

-1 hour later-

Menma and 24 other students had passed although everyone had learned to not try to fight Menma in hand-to hand combat since he had shut down a Hoshigaki members charka network and even their whole nerve system. Utakata, Mei, and Yagura who had been watching couldn't wait till the chunin exams come around again so that Menma could show the dominance force that Kirigakure is. The two people who shocked everyone so far was Haku and Jai the two who was trained under Zubuza.

"On to Genjutsu" said Sadoru as he, Killua was killed right in front of the kids when they looked at Mizukage he and Utakata were being attacked. Not only them but Iwagakure and Kumogakure both were invading the village and most the kids run off. After ten seconds Menma and his friends broke the genjutsu while so it took others a few more seconds to comprehend that they were placed inside a genjutsu. For the once who already failed a test and just failed this one they were put in the red which meant that would possibly have to need to be trained more and was made aware that they would have to complete another test next month and pass it to be place on a team there were eleven people so far which was 6 Hoshigaki members, 2 Yuki members, and 3 Kaguya members.

"Good job to all 39 of you we will allow you a ten-minute break then we will be back" said Killua.

-Ten minute later-

"We will now start you Kenjutsu and Bukijutsu test" said Sadoru.

"We will have Menma go first" said Killua making a clone. Stepping up and bowing Menma made a sword out of his iron and quickly sliced the clone's neck off while throwing kunais and senbons into the hidden clones of Killua. "Good Job Menma" said Killua. "Thanks sensei" said Menma who bowed again.

"Next up Haku" called Sadoru making the clone. Haku turned the clone into a pin doll while making ice mirrors to take out the hidden clone. Jai tried to copy his sister however he was more physical and just slashed the clone up and throw Kunais hitting vital points however he was failed since he killed a civilian clone which he didn't know was there.

Everyone one who went after him was careful not to kill the civilian clone however nine more students had failed and all of them were from the Kaguya clone who all said it wasn't fair. When the Mizukage stepped in and told them to shut up and stop complaining they all were informed that everyone had the same test and this is how the test was always done.

-30 minute later-

It was now time for the last test they were required to do the following jutsus: The Water clone jutsu, The Hidden in The Mist jutsu, The Water Dragon jutsu, The Water bullet jutsu, and Henge. Everyone so far had passed however there were a chance they could fail. Menma was made to go first most of the students had taken a few steps back after remembering what happened last time.

"Well, Menma you're the first person to go so give us your full name and age then do the required jutsus" said Killua.

Menma walked distance away from them so he didn't hurt anyone "My name is Menma Namikaze-Hoshigaki and I am 14 years old" said Menma. Once he got a nod he continued going through two hand signs he said "Water clone jutsu" ten clones appeared out of thin air. He then did two hand signs "Hidden in The Mist Jutsu" and a thick mist appeared from where Menma was standing at and not one could even see their feet or hands that was in front of them. Menma then pulled out a small fan and went through hand signs for a E-rank jutsu "Wind Release: Soaring Winds" said Menma getting rid of most of the mist.

"Thank you Menma now continue" said Sadoru.

Menma then hedged into his god mother Orochimaru and quickly went through hand signs then yelled out "Water Bullet jutsu". As the water bullets flew he went through another hand sign and the bullets formed into two water dragons that destroyed the training dummies in front of him.

"Well shit we should've had you go last if you were going to do that" said Killua shaking his head.

"My bad" replied Menma rubbing the back of his head.

After a few minutes of thinking and Killua, Sadoru, Yagura, and Utakata had came up with a plan. They had Menma make clones and told the remaining students to use the four jutsus to take out clones. All the Hoshigaki members, Yuki, Hōzuki passed easily while others struggled to pass or failed. Those who failed complained about it being unfair that they had to fight against Menma's clones so Yagura had Menma make trees that they needed to cut down using their jutsus in another area. After ten minutes Menma had sent a clone to see what happened to his classmates however upon looking for them he found them all knocked out or dead. The clan proceed to burn the bodies and trees to delete all traces of what happened then proofed.
