Chapter 3: A new a leaf

ATTENTION: Okay before you start reading this was originally apart of the story however it was deleted BUT thanks to google docs I got it back. It is not the original however hopefully you like it.
(Author's Note: I'm just cover important events in the Konoha during the first ten years since Shikaku took over as Hokage.
-Year one though ten-
Year One: After the invasion on the Hidden Leaf Shikaku was made Hokage and removed Danzo, Koharu, and Homura from the counsel. A month after the attempted invasion on Konoha by Han, Rōshi and the unknown demons the Hidden Leaf still had much to repair. After hearing that his sensei was no longer Hokage Jiraiya abandoned the leaf village. It took a whole year to start getting back to fighting shape. Neji, Ten-Ten, Rock Lee was born this year.
Year Two: Hinata, Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji was born in this year. The civilian counsel had been disbanded because Shikaku had believed that Iwagakure could possibly be trying for another attack so the village was on lock down until he felt they were safe.
Year Three: Kiba, Satsuki, Sasuke, Shino, and Sakura were born this year. Fugaku wasn't happy that one of his twin kids turned out to be a girl so he disowned her thinking she'll be weak. Shino had a tailed beast sealed within him which only the clan head and one elder knew about.
Year Four: Rock Lee is adopted by Might Gai and Ten-Ten is adopted by a family that had just moved from the land of snow. The Hidden leaf was no longer under locked down which allowed them to make more money however this also meant they Shikaku now had to deal with the civilian counsel who was power hungry. A few months after the civilian counsel was brought being back the news of a new tailed beast container was spread like wildfire in the village however no one knew which kid it was.
Year Five: Shikamaru, Choji and Ino all meet each other and forced to become friends. Satsuki is sent to the Land of Wolves to live with her aunt and uncle because her mother feared her husband will kill her. The Hygua breach members had oddly been getting killed while in the compound which caused an investigation which led to arrest of members in the main breach. The Uchiha clan felt they should have more power and made plans to get what they wanted.
Year Six: Shikaku had officially made Sakumo one of his elders and removed Hiruzen from the counsel room replacing him with his son Asuma. A few months after the removal of Hiruzen from a day now known as Valentine's Day Massacre. On this day the Uchiha clan allied themselves the Hygua side breach and killed the main breach of the Hyuga and the former elders Koharu and Homura. This day ended with Itachi killing his father and half of the Uchiha members and The Hygua side breach becoming whole and happy now that no one could use the curse mark on their foreheads.
Year Seven: Rock Lee, Ten-Ten and Neji entered the academy that was one of the two requires to join the ninja academy. Last year after going over reports on the genin class Shikaku had found out that too many kids who were not ready to become ninjas of the village were passed which led to the deaths and injuries of genins who were unprepared, Chunin who had been on missions and flat out failed the job or died doing it, and Jonin who had to protect their genin causing them to die. Shikaku had decided that change was need so he replaced the old ranking system with a new one:
Junior Genin: This rank is given to ninjas who have enrolled with the academy for 3 to 4 years before becoming a full genin. They are only allowed D rank missions.
Genin: After passing the genin these ninjas will be placed on teams of 2 or 3 genins and one Senior Jonin. Only allowed D to C rank missions only but mainly C rank missions.
Special Genin: This ranking is EXCEEDINGLY rare; this is only given out to genin who are stronger than most of his/her peers. Allowed C or higher are allowed to lead C rank missions.
Junior Chunin: This rank is given when a ninja passes the Chunin exams or given a field promotion. Allowed C rank or higher.
Chunin: This rank is attained when a junior chunin has been at the rank for 2 years has competed five C rank missions, five B rank missions and one A rank mission.
Special Chunin: This ranking is EXCEEDINGLY rare; this is only given out to those who are stronger than most of his/her peers.
Junior Jonin: This rank is attained after 3 more years of being a chunin doing a year of teaching at the academy, leading a C rank mission, and doing five A ranked missions.
Senior Jonin: This rank is attained by being age 18 or above, has mastered one of the ninja arts, must be able to teach and lead others in the field and must have the battle knowledge to know when to fight or run.
All the clan heads didn't like the new rankings however most of them seen that this could improve the village as a whole.
Year Eight: Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji join the academy. Because of the changes in ranking systems the number of Genins went from two hundred to three hundred, the number of Chunin went from two hundred to a hundred and fifty, and lastly there was only fifty Jonins. This didn't go over well at first because ninja was being stripped of their rankings hell this even effected Anbu members however because there were tests for higher ranks that motivated them. Over the course of this year more and more ninjas started working harder to get their old rank back while others want to advance further fearing that they would be stripped again. At the end of the year there was now two hundred Jonins, two hundred Chunins, and one hundred Genins not including the Anbu members.
Year Nine: Sasuke, Shino, Hinata, and Sakura joined the academy. Satsuki had run away from the Land of Wolves because Danzo and Hiruzen was in the area kidnapping ninjas left and right. On the way back to the hidden leaf she was found by Orochimaru who took her in and trained her. After finding out the girl was Uchiha member she wanted to send her to live with her godson Menma however she needed a spy in the Konoha so she sent her there. Satsuki immediately refused saying she wanted to stay with Orochimaru however after telling her that it was a mission and that she would be allowed to return she agreed.
Year Ten: Satsuki returned to Konoha and was enrolled in the academy with her brother since Orochimaru called in on a favor Shikaku owned her. Satsuki, Sasuke, Neji, Hinata, Rock Lee, TenTen, Kiba, Ino, Shikamaru, Choji, Sakura, and Shino were all placed in the same class. Menma had a not-so-secret meeting with his uncle, aunt, and cousins during this interaction Sakumo was silent allowing the family to talk although he did hear somethings he felt need to be discussed in detail.
-Flashback-
In the counsel room a large table with eighteen seats seven seats was where the clan heads sat at which all of them chose the right side of the room. On the other side was eleven seats two of those seats were reserved for the elders while in the middle of the room was the Hokage's seat. Today however on the elder, Hokage, and clan heads were in the room.
with on the right side and the clan heads on the left with the Hokage and the elders being in the middle. The clan heads were the following people:
Inoichi Yamanaka ⅓ of the famous ino-shika-cho had long ash blond hair reaching into his lower back, which he wore spiky on top and ending in a long ponytail, light green eyes, and strong facial features, which included a well-defined jawline.
Chōza Akimichi ⅓ of the famous ino-shika-cho is a tall, plump man with naturally brown hair, but seems to wear a long, spiky red hairpiece. He has purple markings on his cheeks — a common trait in the Akimichi clan. He wears a samurai like outfit which entails a black suit completed with armor that has the kanji for "food" (食, shoku) on it. He also wears a rope belt, handguards, and instead of a forehead protector — a hachimaki tied around his head.
Shibi Aburame, like all members of his clan, has his eyes obscured by dark glasses which feature a single tassel hanging down from one-side. He has very spiky short black hair and a moustache. He typically wears a high collared outfit, while carrying a gourd on his back that is used for holding more kikaichū. He also tends to keep his hands in his pockets a lot, another trait he and his son share.
Tsume Inuzuka has an animalistic look like that of her son Kiba. She has long, spiky, untamed brown hair, vertical slit-like pupils, elongated canine teeth and nails. She also has the clan fang markings on her cheeks as well as markings over her eyes and a dark shade of purple lipstick. She wears the standard outfit of a Konoha shinobi consisting of a flak jacket and a black suit underneath with the sleeves rolled up and bandages around her legs.
Hoheto Hyuga Like all members of the Hyūga clan, he possesses featureless white eyes. He has brown hair which he styles in a topknot and wears the standard Konoha-nin uniform.
Itachi Uchiha is a tall man of fair complexion. He had black eyes, under which were long, pronounced tear-troughs. He had jet-black hair that was pulled back in a low ponytail and his face was framed with center-parted bangs that extended to his chin; his casual clothes consisted of a black shirt with the Uchiha clan symbol on the back, bandages around his ankles, and black sandals. He wore tan pants with a weapons pouch strapped to his back.
Asuma Sarutobi is a tall man, with brown eyes, olive skin, short black spiky hair, and a beard. His clothing consisted of the standard Konoha ninja uniform with the sleeves rolled up halfway, flak jacket, regular shinobi sandals and forehead protector. He also wore a sash that had the kanji for "Fire" (火) marked on it around his waist, a pair of black bangles, and bandages wrapped around the arms of his sleeves.
"Is it true that the nine tails container is back?" asked Asuma.
"His name is Menma and yes he is the container for the nine tails" said the Hokage in a warning tone.
"I'm sorry I wasn't trying to be rude I was just never informed on what his name was" said Asuma.
"Hokage-Sama is it true that the Uzumaki and Senju clans back?" asked Shibi.
"Our intel hasn't said anything yet however they could be and they maybe rebuilding their village" said Shikaku.
"We should prepare for war" said Chōza.
"I agree with the history of Han and his brother in arms Rōshi death he could be possibly building an army somewhere we need to prepare for any attacks at any moment" said Inoichi.
"Hokage-dono I believe you should tell them what you found out from young Menma" said Sakumo Hatake. This shocked everyone in the room that the Hokage met with the young Uzumaki member.
'You had a meeting with him without us?" said a bewildered Itachi.
"Menma is my nephew so yes I did have a private conversation with him and no that discussion is private" said Shikaku giving Sakumo a look that said "shut it".
"Hokage-sama I understand family is important and that your discussion is private however if there is any information you can give it'll help" said Shibi.
Thinking about the information he sighed, rubbed his head, and then looked at his friends. "Troublesome from what anbu has gathered Han hasn't been seen in a while Iwagakure probably killed him and took his tailed beast placing it into someone loyal to them" said Shikaku pausing to drink some water. "As for Menma the information I gathered from him Orochimaru does in indeed have her own village" he added.
"So now is the real question being is Menma staying within the village to be a ninja?" asked Hoheto.
"No, he's only here to get his inheritance and then be back on his way no one will stop him nor will they try to convince him to stay here" said Shikaku.
"And why not?" asked Asuma, Tsume and Hoheto at the same time.
"Because he belongs to another village as much as we don't like it if we try to force him to stay there would be war and bloodshed" said Sakumo.
"With that being the case, all of our clan are still rebuilding as for Orochimaru she poses no threat to us for now however in the near future that could change and we must be ready " said Itachi whose eyes were bandaged after he killed his father his eyes had to be replaced with his father's giving him the EMS.
"Speaking of Menma during the rounds in the village one of my members saw two other ninjas with Menma. Who are they if you don't mind me asking?" asked Hoheto.
"Why do you ask" said Sakumo eying the man.
"Well, they could have sworn they were from the Land of Grass the same land that Orochimaru took over" stated Hoheto.
" Interesting" said Shikaku.
"Yes" Hoheto replied.
"Did one of them have Orange hair?" asked Tsume getting up.
"No" said Sakumo.
"Tsume-Sama the killers of your husband will be found soon I promise you "said Shikaku.
"I want to be the one to do it" said Tsume.
"Tsume take a five-minute break and come back don't do anything crazy Menma nin animals we smell you coming a mile away" said Shikaku.
"What do you mean nin animals?" asked Chōza.
"He came here with two wolves my bugs told me" Said Shibi.
"Hey, we can talk about him later for now we need to plan" said Inoichi.
"I think we all need a five-minute break" said the Hokage getting up after the Hokage left the room so did the other clan heads they all knew it was going to be a long day.
-Ten minutes later-
After a ten-minute break, the elder, clan heads, and Hokage had return to the counsel room.
"Hokage-sama without a tailed beast we are sitting ducks" said Inoichi.
"I agree however we can't force Menma to stay" said the Hokage.
"And why not? you never truly explained that you just said we can't" said Chōza.
"Menma lives in Kirigakure unless you want Yagura and Utakata both to attack us while we are weak" said Shikaku not finishing his sentence.
After five minutes of silence Sakumo spoke "As bad as this is going to sound we need to steal a tailed beast".
"From where and who?" said Tsume.
"Well, the one tail is in Sunagakure, the two and eight tails are in Kumogakure, the three, six, and nine tails are in Kirigakure, the four and five tails are missing and the seven tails beast is in Takigakure" said Hoheto.
"Wasn't Takigakure attacked?" asked Shibi.
Taking a deep sigh "I believe the seven tails is in the land of fire" said Asuma.
"Huh what are you talking about Asuma" asked Inoichi. This made the rest of the clan heads and Hokage look at the man like he grew a second head. All eyes were now on Asuma and he continued "My father, most of my clan, and Danzo are all in the Land of Wolves I believe they are starting a new village and I believe they had captured the seven tails" said Asuma however unexpectedly there was no outrage.
"So, you are loyal that's good to know" said the Hokage looking at the young man who now looked confused.
"We already knew as for the tailed beast container we know where she is at" said Chōza.
"So, what are we talking about here?" asked Asuma upset.
"A month ago, Takigakure was indeed attacked and they're rebuilding we needed to take advantage of that fact so we stole the container since we needed another one "said the Hokage. Once again the room got quiet everyone knows how the life of a jinchuriki was and didn't want to their clan members to have to deal with that. After a long ten minutes of silence an unlikely person volunteered a member of their clan.
"The Aburame clan is a bug clan and we are already seen as outcast I believe my son would be a great container" said Shibi.
"Shibi your clan is not an outcast and are you sure about this?" asked Shikaku.
"I must agree as a father I wouldn't want my son to go through that" said Chōza.
"Along with the fact that the villagers are already on a manhunt for a supposed container" said Tsume.
"On top of the fact that Menma, Mito, and Kushina the containers of the nine tails have never been accepted by this village" said Inoichi.
"The seven tails has been seen as a bug so it's only right one of mine members become its host were it can be loved" replied Shibi.
"If we do this only the people in this room will know this information I don't want a repeat of what happened to my nephew" said the Hokage.
"Yes Sir" said all the clan heads.
"As for you Shibi I will give you 48 hours to think about this after that the mission will proceed" said Shikaku.
"Okay I will prepare my son" said Shibi.
"Also, I have made some changes for next year" said the Hokage passing papers to the clan heads.
-Flashback end-
-Present Day-
Today was the first day at the ninja academy for the newcomer twelve they were glad to be out of the regular academy and to be able to join the ninja academy. Sasuke and his twin sister Satsuki both decide to do light training and then walked to the academy. Neji and Hinata both went through the morning routine and then walked toward the academy with grace. Ten-Ten, Rock Lee, and Kiba all walked together to the academy since they all ran into each other. Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji the kids of the famous ino-shika-cho trio all walked to the academy together although the two boys didn't want to because Ino wanted to grab her annoying pink her friend Sakura that they both hated.
-1 hour later-
The kids had made it the academy and now was in the classroom a few people had sat by friends they knew or was already friends with. After waiting for 20 minutes their senseis had showed up.
"Alright everyone settle down I am Iruka Umino and this is my co teacher Mizuki we will be your senseis for the next 3 years" said Iruka.
"Good morning Senseis" replied the class.
"Let's start with introductions stand up one by one and tell us your name, a fact about you, one of your goals, and something you like and something you dislike" said Mizuki.
After all the boring introductions were done it was time for clan kids and their friends to go.
"My name is Ten-Ten, I am 10 years old, I like weapons, I dislike fan girls, and my goal for the future is to be a great kunoichi, my dislike is fan girls" said Ten-Ten. She wore a pink sleeveless qipao-style blouse with red sleeve trimmings and yellow fastening buttons and dark green pants. A pouch is adjusted to her thigh and her forehead protector and sandals are both blue. Ten-Ten has black hair and grey eyes, she wears her hair in two Chinese-style buns on her head with short fringe-bangs framing her face.
"My name is Rock Lee; I am the son of Might Gai, I like training with my father, and my goal for the future is to surpass my father, I dislike people who don't work hard" said Rock Lee. He has shiny black hair, round eyes with prominent lower eyelashes, and very thick eyebrows. His hair was quite long and fastened in a braid. (I hate the bowl haircut he nor Gai will have that haircut) he wears a green jumpsuit, orange leg warmers, and a red forehead protector worn as a belt. He has bandages around his forearms up to his fingers, covering a set of stitches on his hands that were caused by his rigorous training.
"My name is Choji A-" before he could say his name his heard some jokes that made him sad so he sat back down.
"Aye be respectful of your classmates" said Iruka.
"Iruka if the boy can't face his own classmates he won't last long" said Mizuki to his friend then he turned to the class "We will not be babying you Choji stand back up and finish" he added.
After a minute the boy didn't just stand back up he attacked his classmates which had been mostly civilian kids. Both teachers feared the boy would kill his classmates if they didn't pull him off the kids he was beating to death.
-Ten minutes later-
Choji was in the headmaster's office with his father and mother. The boy would be expelled from the academy for a few months or possibly a full year because he attacked and battered kids that couldn't protect themselves.
-Back in the classroom-
Okay no more jokes everyone quiet we have several more class members to go" said Iruka who now had a black eye.
"I guess I'll go next I am Sasuke Uchiha young brother of Itachi Uchiha, I like training and my clan, my goal for the future is to be the next clan head, my dislikes are people in general" said Sasuke. He was wearing a navy blue, short-sleeved shirt with a high collar, white shorts, and white arm warmers. He has black eyes and long spiky black hair with a blue tint. (No duckbutt haircut)
"My name is Satsuki Uchiha twin sister of Sasuke and granddaughter of Madara Uchiha" this shocked some people in the class "I enjoy training and learning; my goal is to be the first female Hokage and also just like Ten-Ten I dislike fan girls" said Satsuki before sitting back down. Satsuki had green eyes which was different from her clan members she stood at 5'3, she had black hair with some red highlights in honor of her hero Kushina Uzumaki who she read about in a book. She wore a mesh shirt with a crop-top shirt, a short pink laced up mini-skirt with shorts underneath and black knee-high socks with black ninja slides.
"My name is Neji Hyuga, a fact about me is that I believe in faith, I like training, I dislike weak people who try to go against their faith to be weak, and a goal of mine is to be the next clan head" said Neji. Neji is a boy with fair skin and long brown hair. When his Byakugan was not active he has featureless white eyes, Neji wore a beige-colored shirt, a dull blue shirt beneath that, and mesh armor beneath that. He wore dark brown shorts, blue shinobi sandals, and wrapped bandages around his right arm, chest, and right leg. He tied his hair back in a loose ponytail tied a few inches above the end.
After Neji was done the young lady next to him started walking down the stairs once she made it to the front she turned around "My name is Hinata Hyuga princess of the Hyuga clan, I am 11 years old, I like Cinnamon buns and my clan, I dislike Uchiha members, a future goal of mine is to become Hokage" said Hinata. Hinata is a slender girl of fair complexion, she has featureless lavender eyes. She has medium dark blue hair that she keeps in a ponytail. She was wearing a long white dress like she was going to a formal party.
"Okay you can go back to your seat now" said Iruka.
"I'm Shikamaru Nara, I like cloud watching and sleeping, my goal for the future is to a chunin, I dislike working hard and being woken up" said Shikamaru who sat back down. Shikamaru has narrow brown eyes and a typical expression suggesting he is either bored or irritated. He has shoulder length black hair tied in a spiky ponytail. He wears a short-sleeved grey jacket with green-edged sleeves and the rudimentary Nara clan symbol on the back, under which is a green-lined mesh armor T-shirt. He also wears brown pants, a pair of his clan's traditional silver hoop earrings.
"Umm aren't you missing something" said Mizuki however when they didn't get answer they moved on.
"I am Kiba Inuzuka and this is Akamaru, I like my clan and training, I dislike cats and cat lovers, my goal for the future is to be the next clan head" said Kiba. He had messy brown hair, sharp black eyes with vertical slit-like pupils, canine teeth, and nails that he can change into claws. He also has the distinctive red fang markings of the Inuzuka clan on his cheeks. He wore a choker around his neck, A gray slashed up hoodie with a dark grey muscle shirt under it and black anbu pants with blue slides on.
"My name is Ino Yamanaka, a fact about me is that I like flowers and my family, I dislike bugs, and my goal for the future is to be married" said Ino. Ino is a fair-skinned woman of average height with light blue eyes (green in the manga) and long, platinum blonde hair with bangs framing the right side of her face. Ino regularly wears a purple outfit consisting of a high-collared blouse and matching apron skirt. In Part I, she sports this attire with bandages on her abdomen and legs, small hoop-earrings,
"My name is Shino Aburame, I am 11 years old, I like my clan and my hive, I dislike people who judge to quickly, a goal of mine for the future is to be Hokage" said Shino. Shino is regularly seen sporting the same style as the rest of his clan, consisting of dark round sunglasses and a sea-green jacket with a high, upturned collar. Shino is a fair-skinned man and the tallest member of his class. He has dark, bushy, brown hair, and dark, sharp eyes. As with other members of his clan, Shino constantly keeps his eyes covered to others.
"Well let's begin with our lessons" said Iruka.
"Wait I haven't gone yet" said a girl with pink hair.
"And who are you?" asked Mizuki.
"Sakura Haruno" replied the girl now known as Sakura.
"We've been called your name" said Iruka.
"She was too busy looking over at Sasuke" said Mizuki.
"Lewd we have a fan girl we'll see how long you last" said Iruka.
-4 hours later-
The first day of class was boring half of the class had fell asleep during Iruka lesson which pissed the man off. As a punishment for his boring lesson, he made them solve problems that only a chunin would know how to deal with and told them it would affect their grade. After an hour the class had to pass up their papers and most of wasn't nowhere near finished Iruka said he wouldn't put them in IF they paid attention for the remainder of his time. It was lunch time now and everyone was ready to get away from this crazy guy that's until that heard a fight about to happen.
"Hey, you two Uchiha scum stop right there" said Neji.
When Sasuke and Satsuki stopped and turned around they saw Neji and Hinata standing behind them in a fight stance.
"What the hell do you want?" replied Sasuke.
"We are going to cleanse this academy of the curse of hatred" said Hinata.
"Whatever let's go Sasuke" said Satsuki walking away.
"Don't you turn away from me" said Hinata running at Satsuki however she was cut off by Sasuke. After seeing this Neji assisted Hinata and trying to beat down the twins however this didn't go at plan since both twins were good hand-to-hand fighters. Five minutes later all four kids were battered.
"You know what fuck this Fire Release" Fire ball jutsu" said Sasuke. Before the fire ball hit the Hygua members a wall of earth shot up and all four kids was locked to where they were standing when everyone looked where the shadows were coming from they all saw the Hokage.
"You four my office now!" said the headmaster.
"Shikamaru let's go" said Shikaku.
-10 minutes later in the headmaster office-
Sasuke, Satsuki, Neji, and Hinata was all in the in the office.
"So, who here wants to tell me what happened today?" asked the headmaster in a fatherly tone.
"These two Uchiha scum shouldn't be allowed to became ninjas after what their clan did" said Neji.
"As I recall it wasn't just their clan that attack Konoha it was also yours" replied the headmaster.
"Also because of our clan that dumb seal can no longer be used against you" said Sasuke.
"I was honestly don't know what the hell you guys are talking about I was banished off and just came back" said Satsuki was confused about everything going on.
"You call that doing someone a favor-" said Hinata before being cut off.
"ENOUGH ALL FOUR OF YOU!" yelled the headmaster.
This shut all four of them up.
"All four of you will do clean up the area you fought at and clean up after school for 2 weeks now get out" said the headmaster.
-Meanwhile in the Hokage's office-
Once they got to the office Shikaku turned on his privacy seals that were on the wall.
"Son I don't believe that I'll be Hokage for too much longer" said Shikaku.
"What do you mean you've been the best Hokage for the last ten years" replied Shikamaru who was confused.
"There are some who would rather the village to be run a unique way then it has been in the past plus with the whole nine tails attack on the village 10 years ago financial we are hurting" replied Shikaku.
"So, what does Menma have to do with this?" asked Shikamaru.
"His parents account was used to pay for some of the village and with him now demanding his inherence" said Shikaku not finishing however his son's face clearly understood what he was saying.
"How much?" asked Ensui appearing out the shadow of a corner of the room. (not weird at all right)
"Why the hell do you guys keep doing that?" asked a shocked Shikamaru who almost had a heart attack.
"I'm sorry son with the 3rd Hokage and Danzo coming back to the village soon I had to switch things up" answered Shikaku.
"Yes we're sorry for scaring you little cousin" said another voice.
"Yeah yea I wasn't that scared anyways how much money are we talking about here?" asked Shikamaru.
"About 75 million dollars" replied Shikaku.
"HOW THE HELL DID YOU SPEND 75 MILLION DOLLARS!" said a shocked Shikamaru.
"The village needed it my cousin and his wife were rich before they died and Menma's mother is royalty so I just used that money to get the village back up and running however I thought Menma would be coming back allowing us to repay him slowly through C rank missions" said Shikaku.
"I'm sure he'll be understanding" replied Shikamaru.
"Wrong if he was a dumb brat who wore an orange jumpsuit and yelled about being Hokage then yes" said Ensui.
In a different story a young dumb yellow hair boy stopped what he was doing and sneezed.
"I'm glad he isn't like that however with him being trained by Orochimaru and Tsunade plus others that we don't know about I don't believe he is going to be okay with us spending his parent's money" said Shikaku.
"Wait what is Danzo and the 3rd Hokage doing here?" asked Shikamaru.
"Politics anyways we will talk about this in detail later" replied Shikaku.
"Troublesome see you at home" said Shikamaru.
"See you son" said Shikaku getting back to the paperwork he had to finish.
-Two month later-
Sasuke, Satsuki, Shino and Shikamaru were training they were working on hand-to-hand combat something Shikamaru wasn't good at which is why he ended up on his ass most the time. Sasuke and Satsuki were even when it came to hand-to-hand combat however because of Satsuki mixed fighting kata she usually got more hits in which is why their record is fourteen wins for Sasuke to Satsuki fifteen wins they were rivals when it came down to fighting. Shino and Sasuke had a different type of rivalry they both they were both seen as two of the best junior genins in the whole academy and they pushed each other to be better. However, where Shikamaru shined was in board games he was the smartest of the four usually beating the other the three when it came down to shogi and go however they were never far behind.
"Hey Shino, I have a question" said Shikamaru.
"Yes Shika" said Shino.
"Is the rumor true?" asked Satsuki bluntly.
"What rumor?" asked Shino.
"There is a rumor going around that your bugs suck on your blood if you run out of charka" said Shikamaru.
"Does it matter?" questioned Shino.
"If we were to end up on teams and you run out of charka then that would be a problem" said Sasuke.
"Also, your father and my father are good friends they play shogi together and during a discussing the information was given" said Shikamaru.
"Speaking of teams where is Choji he's never around?" asked Satsuki.
"I haven't seen him in a while his father said that he was on a training trip" replied Shikamaru.
"So, when is he coming back?" asked Shino trying to shift the topic to Choji.
"Don't know" answered Shikamaru sadly.
"I'm sorry for asking" said Satsuki.
"Let's get back to training" said Shikamaru.
"Wait Shino you never answered" said Sasuke which now had all eyes on Shino.
"Yes" he stated simply.
-Two years later-
During the first and second year at the academy the students were during D-Rank missions to see who would be best suited on teams this in term leaded to more teamwork between classmates and saw who wouldn't work will together. To Sasuke and Satsuki, they thought that having to paint a fence, walk someone dog, or even mow someone grass was stupid. These were all things a normal civilian could do even the ones who were handicap even did which make it all that much worse for a regular person with no handicap. Unlike his friends Shikamaru didn't try too hard within the academy no not because he was lazy or anything it was more for the fact that he already knew who he was going to be teamed up with and did the only the amount of work needed to be placed within that team. Chōza informed his best friend Shikaku that his son wouldn't be returning until the last year and Shikaku informed him that because of this choose he would be the dead last in the class. Neji, Hinata, TenTen, Rock Lee, and Kiba at first didn't mind doing D-ranks however between Iruka's boring classes and these meaningless D-ranks they slowly started hating doing them. Shino, Ino, and Sakura didn't mind doing them they just hated who they were teamed up with half the time. Iruka was looking over the team trying to make them make sense however he was having a tough time thankfully he won't have pick teams for another year.
-Third Year-
At the beginning of the year Hiruzen had taken back over as Hokage which displeased all the clan heads within the village. After a meeting between Hiruzen, Danzo, the Fire Daimyo, and his advisors they had found that Shikaku was unfit with all that happen over the last ten years. With Orochimaru's Sound Village becoming a threat of power plus allowing Menma to join the Village Hidden in the Mist Shikaku was forced to step down as Hokage. After taking back over Hiruzen received a few letters the first one was from Sunagakure who had cancelled the alliance with Konoha. The second letter was from the Water Daimyo demanding Menma's parents bank account however Hiruzen had refused to give the boy any money unless he returned to the village. A month after the remaining Uchiha clan males had attacked Danzo and Root while the women fled the village only leaving Itachi, Izumi, Shisui, Sasuke, Satsuki, and their mother Mikoto were the last Uchiha left. Danzo and his anbu had killed all the Uchiha members however he couldn't take their eyes because upon dying their bodies blow up destroying the Root (NE) base.
During this year this year Itachi, Sasuke, and Satsuki mother had died due to food poison this caused a split in the already fragile family. Satsuki no longer visited her family and when Itachi had ordered her to come back home she refused and disown the Uchiha clan. Ino, Choji, and Shikamaru during this year tried to get to know one another however Shikamaru was lazy, Choji let to work out, and both boys hate Ino's traits of being a fan girl for the Uchiha boy who clearly hated her and the fact that she was friends with Sakura. Sakura over these passed three years was flat out useless she was a book nerd in a world that required fighting during the second year she was kicked out for failing to win any fights however her mother paid the headmaster to let her rejoin. Shino kept to himself talking to his new partner that was inside of his body the bad thing was that after sealing the tailed beast within Shino his bug became bloodthirsty.
-Graduation Morning -
"Good morning class" said Iruka walking into the classroom.
"Good morning Iruka-sensei" replied the class.
"Today you will be taking a couple of tests to see if you will become a full genin the first one is a written test" said Iruka passing out papers.
-20 minutes later-
The written test wasn't hard to Shikamaru, Sasuke, and Satsuki it was low-key boring honestly they had finished in 20 minutes Shikamaru had gone to sleep right after finishing while Sasuke and Satsuki just sat there waiting for their classmates to finish.
"Nara members smartest but laziest ninjas ever" Iruka thought.
-40 minutes later-
"Alright now that the boring part is over let's get to some fun everyone outside" said Iruka.
-10 minutes later outside-
"Your second test is a fitness test you have 250 Pull ups, 250 Sit-ups, 300 pushups, 200 Jumping Jacks and a 4-mile run" said Iruka.
"4 Miles!" said the half of the class.
"Oh, also no using charka you been practicing for this day" said Iruka.
-1 hour later-
The whole class besides a few where tired from the workout they just did. Iruka was shaking his head wanting to fail them knowing that if they couldn't manage this they weren't cut out to be a ninja. He looked around and saw Mizuki getting the tools ready for the next test.
"Alright everyone 10-minute rest then we're starting the next test" said Iruka who left to get the supplies needed for the next test.
-10 minutes later-
"The next test will be Kunai and Shuriken throwing" said Iruka.
The results are as followed:
Most of the civilian kids hit six out of ten kunais and five out of ten shurikens.
TenTen had a perfect score hitting ten out of ten kunais and ten out of ten shurikens.
Choji had hit eight out of ten kunais and nine out of ten shurikens during his time out of the village he had lost a lot of weight and put on a lot of muscle.
Sasuke and Satsuki had ten out of ten kunais and eight out of ten shurikens.
Ino Yamanaka, Rock Lee, and Kiba all hit seven out of ten kunais and seven out of 10 shurikens.
Neji and Hinata both hit eight out of ten on both test and swore that the Uchiha members placed a genjutsu on them messing up their test. Iruka took their sided and allowed them to redo their test allowing them to have prefect ten out of ten scores.
Shino had hit six out of ten kunais and eight out of 10 shurikens.
"Good job class now on to the next.. well, hey who are you?" asked Mizuki.
"Hello, my name is Suzume I'll be taking over your next test Iruka you are needed in the Hokage office" said Suzume.
"Oh, okay I'll be back as soon as possible class" said Iruka.
"The next test will be on the three basic jutsus needed plus two C or B rank jutsu that you know that could help your score we'll call you one by one to see your skill" said Suzume as Iruka left no questions asked.
"What about the fighting part?" asked Ja.
"After what has happened in this class many of times we have decided to pass everyone in this class" said Suzume. Over the last few years, the fights between the Hygua and Uchiha members have been deadly, two senseis had been injured during these fights. Everyone looked at the four classmates that damn near killed each other every time and started walking. "Like I said on to the next test" said Suzume.
-15 minutes later-
Everyone was back into the classroom and one by one they started taking the last test the basic jutsu so that more civilian kids could pass the ninja exams and shortly die on the field. All the students had done the Clone Jutsu, The Substitute Technique, and the Transformation Jutsu as well as a C rank jutsu however not every student had passed.
-40 minutes later-
Mizuki and Suzume walked into the room.
"Congratulations to all you who passed to the ones who didn't there's always next year you all are dismissed for the week when you came back I'll have you teams" said Suzume.
"Aw man you can't tell us now?" asked Ino everyone agreed with her.
"The Hokage makes the teams not us" replied Suzume.
"Who's the top two students?" asked Kiba.
"Neji and Hinata Hyuga" said Suzume who looked at the paper shocked.
"Fucking Iruka that ass hole" thought three people within the room.
Everyone was shocked that Sasuke, TenTen, nor Satsuki who had better grades wasn't the rookies of the year.
"You can leave see you next week" said Mizuki before body flickering out the classroom everyone soon followed happy that they passed their test and wanted to saw their parents who were waiting for them outside.
-Outside the school-
"Oi Sasuke and Satsuki we are having a party at my house you should come by" said Shikamaru.
"Sorry I have something to do" said Satsuki as she started walking away.
"We need to talk Satsuki" said Sasuke to his sister.
"No, we don't" she replied while walking.
"Well damn Sasuke I'm sorry man but your-" said Kiba however he had to dodge a punch coming towards his face.
"Shut the hell up" said Sasuke walking away.
"Actually, I need do a little shopping for clothes and things" replied Ino.
"Troublesome" said Shikamaru.
-1 hour earlier with Iruka
"Hey, I'm Iruka here to see the Hokage" said Iruka.
"Do you have a meeting with the Hokage?" asked the lady at the desk.
"No, I was told to come here" stated Iruka.
"I'll ask if he sent for you" said the young lady getting up and walking the Hokage office.
-5 minutes later-
"The Hokage will see you now" said the young lady.
"Thanks" said Iruka.
-5 minutes later in the Hokage office-
"Hai Hokage-Sama you have summoned me?" asked Iruka.
"No, I haven't" said the 3rd Hokage.
"What but-" said Iruka before he was cut off.
"However now that you are here tell me all you can about Shino" said Hiruzen.
"Why do you want to know about that demon" said Iruka who hated the kid and was planning to fail the boy.
"Because I said so now do it before I kill you for breaking an SSS-rank secret" replied the Hokage faring his KI.
-20 minutes later-
Hiruzen hadn't learn anything about the Jinchuriki that he hadn't known before he hated that Shikaku take over the village for thirteen years. He hated the fact that Menma was raised by Orochimaru his former student. He hated the fact that Menma didn't care about the village nor the villagers and the fact that the boy didn't have the Will of Fire that he's father had. Hiruzen knew that there was a way to get the boy to see things his way however he just hoped that the person who he picked was loyal to him then Shikaku.
"Iruka these are your teams" said the Hokage.
"What wait these teams don't make sense" replied Iruka.
"Just do as I say" said the Hokage.
"Okay but if this doesn't work" Iruka was about to continue however he felt a hand around his neck.
"Shut the hell up and do as I say!" said the Hokage almost killing the man.
-Time skip a week ahead-
-Earlier that morning in the Hokage's office -
The Hokage, 14 Jonins and Iruka were in the Hokage's office talking about the teams however one Jonin was missing.
"So, everyone has their teams?" asked the Hokage.
"Question why is Neji and Sasuke on the same team reading the reports they never get along?" asked Kakashi who was going to be a Jonin leader.
"I told him this last week but he's the Hokage" said Iruka.
"And why are you questioning me the Hokage the professor I been through three shinobi world wars" said the Hokage upset that he was being questioned.
"Because Neji and Sasuke don't get along so that team wouldn't work" replied Kakashi as he eyed the Hokage.
"Plus, on top of that Sakura would be on that team who's one of Sasuke's fan girls" said Asuma.
"Who's all on teams?" said Josh one of the team leaders.
"Teams 1-6 you all have your teams so you can leave" said the Hokage kicking out the first six teams.
"That leaves Teams 7, 8, 10" said Iruka.
"Kakashi's team is…
-In the classroom-
Everyone was waiting for Iruka to show up they was waiting to see who all was going to be on teams. After waiting for ten more minutes Iruka finally showed up however his face looked like he had been pissed off all morning.
"Alright guys here's your teams listen up" said Iruka.
-5 mins later-
Iruka went through the first six teams which was mostly civilian kids it wasn't until he got to team seven did everyone started paying mind to who was on teams.
"Team 7: Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, and Neji Hygua " said Iruka.
"The hell do you mean I'm placed with those two" said Neji.
"I demand a switch" said Sasuke Uchiha.
"The Hokage made the teams take it up with him" said Iruka after a moment no one else said anything "Now back to the rest of the teams" said Iruka.
"I know what you're thinking the Hokage switched it up in a major way by the way Team 7 leaders are Kakashi Hatake and Shisui " said Iruka this again shocked everyone but before they could say anything Iruka told them to "Shut up I know alright know let me finish and you all can bitch about it later".
"Team 8: Ino Yamanaka, Satsuki Uchiha, and Hinata Hyuga your team leaders are Asuma and Kurenai Yuki " said Iruka.
"Who the fuck is coming up with these team" thought half of the class.
"Team 9 is Choji Akimichi, Shino Aburame, and TenTen your senseis are Might Gai and Hinoko" said Iruka.
"Team 10: Kiba Inuzuka, Rock Lee and Shikamaru Nara your senseis are Yugao and Izumi " said Iruka.
At this point everyone was in an uproar one because it seemed like all the clan kids had two powerful senseis to train under, Team seven and Team 8 is either going to be a strong team or a kill each other, Team nine and Team ten maybe a great team.
"There are no changing teams learn how to get along with each other and no you have to wait on your sensei " said Iruka.
"I have a question why do all the clan kids have two senseis?" asked a student.
"Maybe you'll have two senseis one day however be ready to train harder than ever" said Iruka as he left the room.
-20 minutes later-
Most of the teams senseis got there teams still most of the genins still thought that the teams seemed a little unbalanced however Iruka told them that the D-ranks they did affected not only their grades but also their teams. He also informed them that the teams should work well since the people they were placed on teams with should work prefect.
"Team Ten let's go" said Yugao.
"Team Seven meet us on the roof" said Shisui.
"Team Eight meet us at training ground 8 in under 20 minutes" said Asuma.
"Team Nine let's go shine OUR FLAMES OF YOUTH" said Gai.
