Chapter Four: Team Test Part 1

Before we start if you're reading this I wrote this story more as a free write I know it's probably not going to get that much attention since it's not a Naruto story however I am enjoying writing it.
-Quick Recap-
Most of the teams senseis got there teams still most of the genins still thought that the teams seemed a little unbalanced however Iruka told them that the D-ranks they did affected not only their grades but also their teams. He also informed them that the teams should work well since the people they were placed on teams with should work prefect.
"Team Ten let's go" said Yugao
"Team Seven meet us on the roof" said Shisui
"Team Eight meet us at training ground 8 in under 20 minutes" said Asuma
"Team Nine let's go shine OUR FLAMES OF YOUTH" said Gai
-Now-
-With Team 7-
After five minutes Sasuke Uchiha and Neji Hygua made it to the top of the roof of the building however they were missing one person that both Kakashi and Shisui had to now wait for. After another ten minutes Sakura Haruno made it to the meet area she looked physically tired while the other two looked like there were going to kill each other. Kakashi decided to step in and grab their attention so they didn't cause an incident he wasn't happy about this group of genins.
"Hello, I am Kakashi Hatake and this guy to the left of me is Shisui Uchiha we'll be your senseis from now on" said Kakashi who had his face in a little orange book.
"Since we don't know you guys tell us about yourselves" said Shisui.
"What.. what do you.. want to know senseis?" asked Sakura between breaths.
"Your likes, your dislikes, and a goal for the future" replied Kakashi.
"Could you go first?" asked Sakura.
"No" replied Kakashi flatly still reading the book.
"My name is Sakura, I like Sasuke, I dislike Ino pig, and my goal for the future is to" said Sakura before she got a nosebleed.
"So, you're a fan girl without a last name alright moving on" said Kakashi.
"Fucking useless" added Shisui.
"I agree" said Neji.
"And you are?" asked Kakashi.
"A genin who would rather become a reserve ninja you're going to need a new member I'm not going to work with a Uchiha member nor be trained under one" said Neji.
"Oh, so you're the legendary Neji Hygua great to know" said Shisui.
"Well, this should be fun" said Kakashi looking at Shisui.
"Okay moving on than last one" said Shisui.
"I'm Sasuke Uchiha, I like training and my clan, I dislike many things, my goal is to one day because clan head," said Sasuke.
"Good to know you will three will meet up tomorrow at training ground 7 for a test be prepared" said Kakashi before leaving Shisui did the same as well.
-10 minutes later with Kakashi-
Kakashi was in the Hokage office trying to find out what the hell was going on.
"Hokage-Sama what is going on with my team?" asked Kakashi.
"What is the problem?" asked the Third Hokage.
"You have a Hygua on a team with two Uchiha" replied Kakashi.
"Well, he'll just have to deal with it" replied Hiruzen.
"You're making a big mistake" said Kakashi leaving the office.
"I AM THE GOD DAMN HOKAGE I DON'T MAKE MISTAKES" yelled the Hokage.
-Ten minutes later-
Kakashi was headed back to the Uzumaki-Senju compound however when he arrived to where the compound was supposed to be he didn't see it. Upon realizing this Kakashi placed his hands in the ram sign thinking that Menma or someone with him must have placed a genjutsu on it. Once seeing that the no compound was there he headed to the Senju entrance of compound. Five minutes later when he made it the Senju side he saw that the compound looked smaller since this morning. The was a new gate which had signs on it not allowing anyone who didn't have Uzumaki or Senju blood to enter. Kakashi wanted to hop over the gate however something told him that would be a bad idea he created a clone to see what would happen when the clone tried to jump over the gate it was fried by lighting.
- With Team Eight-
After leaving the classroom it took Ino Yamanaka, Satsuki Uchiha, and Hinata Hyuga ten minutes to show up to training ground 8.
"Took you long enough" said Asuma.
"What do mean it takes exactly ten minutes to get her from the academy" replied Ino.
"Plus, we needed to use teamwork to avoid all the traps you two set up" added Satsuki.
"Well, if this was a test on teamwork you guys would pass however it's not" said Kurenai.
"You will have a two-part test one part is information gathering the other is survival" said Asuma.
"Shouldn't we get to know each other first I don't know any of my teammates" said Satsuki and the other two genins agreed.
"I thought you alright knew each other however go ahead we'll go last" said Kurenai.
"My name is Ino Yamanaka I like flowers, poisons, and Sasuke my dislikes are sweating, forehead girl and that baka Kiba who's never wearing shoes and always smells like wet dog, my goal is to be the next clan head and married." Said Ino
"My name is Satsuki no last name, my likes are training and spending time with my friends, I dislike fan girls, my goal for the future is marry a strong man and become a clan leader" said Satsuki.
"My name is Hinata Hyuga I like Cinnamon buns and my clan, my dislikes are perverts and Uchiha trash, and my goal for the future is to be a strong clan head" said Hinata once she was done she felt a fist go across her face.
"We have a fan girl, a female who's strong and will probably tried to kill one of her two teammates, and a Hyūga" thought Asuma.
"Well damn can't say she didn't deserve it" thought Kurenai.
"You Bitch" said Hinata getting in her fighting stance.
"Bring it on" replied Satsuki.
"Alright you two settle down" said Asuma getting in between them.
"You three shouldn't be fighting you have an important test to pass" said Kurenai Yuhi.
"What's the test senseis?" asked Ino.
"You have two hours to gather as much information as you can on us and find the scroll we hided" said Asuma.
"Starting now" stated Kurenai as she and Asuma disappeared.
-15 minutes later-
Team 8 was on the move and they were trying their best to find Kurenai or Asuma because one of them apparently had the scroll they needed. The main reason they were having a hard ass time was because they got into a big argument and decided to go their own way.
-With Satsuki-
Satsuki had decided to go to library to found out about Kurenai however she couldn't find out anything important however Asuma was different. When she searched around about Asuma she found out he was one of the twelve ninja guardians and the fact that his last name was Sarutobi. Once she found that out she decided to kill the man however she had to make it look like an accident.
-With Hinata-
Once splitting from the group, she ended up going back to the Hygua compound hoping to get more information on her sensei. Within the compound she nor her sister was well liked by the other members. Her sister Hanabi Hygua only being five when the attack on the main breach hated the side breach and still to this day looked down on them. After that day Hanabi start used the seal against Hygua members which in turn made them plant a slave seal on the girl This made the clan plant a slave seal on her.
-With Ino-
Ino had went home to beg her dad to help her find Asuma. After making it to her home she walked in her family shop when she didn't see her mother she went to his house which was above the shop. Once she got upstairs she had noises like someone was being attack so she pulled out a kunai and headed towards the room and busted through the door. What she saw was her parents trying for another child immediately when they saw her they covered themselves and Ino ran out the house to clear her head.
-One hour later-
After an hour Satsuki and Hinata decided to not find their senseis and just fail the test. Hinata felt like if she was placed on a better team they would have passed and work well together while Satsuki felt like this was some bullshit and that none of these teams made sense hopefully she would be given new teammates. Ino on the other hand had gone to find both of her teammates however they told her to get lost or fight them. The first fight against Hinata had left the with bumps and bruises while the second fight against Satsuki he had to be taken the hospital after she had broken the girl's wrist.
Another hour passed and both senseis of team eight was now looking their genins. Once finding Ino they found out that the girl was beaten up by her teammates which angered Kurenai who was a motherly figure to Hinata who she had been looking over since her mother had passed. Both senseis spilt up to find their genin Kurenai went after Hinata while Asuma went after Satsuki.
-Asuma vs Satsuki-
"So, I word on the street is that you injured your teammate" said Asuma. Satsuki didn't respond to him she just got in a fighting stance and when Asuma just decided not to get in his stance she body flickered and attacked.
"Oh, so it's a fight you want Uchiha? Okay I'll teach you a lesson" said Asuma.
Satsuki still didn't respond she just went through hand signs and took in a deep breath "Fire Release: Fire ball Jutsu" said Satsuki releasing a fire ball from her mouth. Asuma dodged the first one however the second and third balls almost hit him. After she that none of jutsu took the man out she went to hit to hit combat which at first Asuma thought the girl was dumb for her as they fought he felt he skin burning with every strike that connected on him.
-Over to Kurenai-
After leaving Asuma she had went over to the Hygua compound looking for Hinata. When she got there she had found out that both leaders the Yamanaka and Hygua clan was standing there having a heated discussion about what happened between the two girls. Before they could come to blows Anbu ninjas had landed escorted both men to the Hokage's office to talk about the event. Kurenai was denied access into the compound after the incident so she went to find Asuma.
-Back to Satsuki and Asuma-
Asuma and Satsuki had been fighting for almost ten minutes he now understood how the girl broke Ino's wrist. He also had of a sounded mind to kill the girl because there was no damn way this girl was a genin something was wrong here and Asuma was going to be damn sure he got to the bottom of this. Satsuki was on here last legs she was a good fighter but lacked the experience that Asuma she then had a thought to do another jutsu however before she could she was knocked unconscious and so was Asuma. When Kurenai made it to the training ground she only saw Asuma laid out and that Satsuki was no where in the area she scared the new Jonin. She put up Asuma and took him to the hospital then after going to the Hokage to inform him of what happened.
-With Team Nine-
Choji Akimichi, Shino Aburame, and TenTen were all fast walked with Might Gai to Training ground 20. After ten minutes they made it to the training area where their second sensei Hinoko was waiting on them so that they could started their introductions.
"Introduce yourselves we want to know your likes your dislikes and your goals" said Hinoko.
"My name is Choji Akimichi I like food and my friends, I dislike bring called fat, and my goal for the future is to be the next clan head" said Choji.
"My name is Shino Aburame I like my friends, bugs, and training, I dislike people who judge without knowing the full story and wannabe ninjas, my goal for the future is to the next clan head" said Shino.
"My name is Ten-Ten, I like weapons, I dislike fan girls, and my goal for the future is to be a great kunoichi" said Ten-Ten.
"Alright that's nice however to be placed on our team we will have to need to pass our test" said Might Gai.
"Wait I thought we were already on the team" said Choji confused.
"No one is officially on a team until they pass the sensei's test" informed Might Gai.
"So, what is our test?" asked Shino.
"You three will be facing against another team" said Hinoko.
"And yes you are expected to beat them" added Might Gai.
-With Team Ten-
Rock Lee, Kiba Inuzuka, and Shikamaru Nara was walking with Yugao and Izumi who walking with them to training ground 10.
"Introduction yourselves to us and each other" said Izumi.
"Welp this is troublesome" said Shikamaru.
"Okay Nara you start" said Yugao.
"My name is Shikamaru Nara I like sleeping, taking naps, watching cloud, and hanging out with my friends, I dislike being woken up from my naps and troublesome people, my goal is to become a chunin and/or switch teams" said Shikamaru.
"And why don't you want to be on this team?" asked Izumi.
"This team makes no damn sense" said Kiba bluntly.
"Sadly, as youthful as I usually am I have to agree" added Rock Lee.
"And why can't you three be a team?" asked Yugao.
"The point we're trying to make is that during the academy we never worked well together hell honestly I was expecting to be placed within Ino-Shika-Cho even thought Choji was out the village most of the school years" said Shikamaru.
"I do agree with you however you're going to have to learn how to work with each other" said Izumi.
"Moving on your next" said Hinoko pointing at Kiba.
"My name is Kiba Inuzuka and the dog on my head is Akamaru, I like my family and training, I dislike cats, wearing shoes, Menma, and his damn pets, my goals are to be clan head one day" said Kiba.
"What is your problem with my cousin?" asked Shikamaru looking at Kiba.
"His panther killed many nin dogs" said Kiba.
"I am sorry for your loss that panther has been locked up in the Land of Grass and I don't believe it belongs to my cousin" respond Shikamaru.
"I don't feel like talking anymore" said Kiba who kind of balled up after remembering all the nin dogs that had passed in the last year.
"Lee your up" said Izumi.
My name is Rock Lee; I am the son of Might Gai, I like training with my father, and my goal for the future is to surpass my father, I dislike people who don't work hard" said Rock Lee who just repeated what he said the first day at the academy.
"The Flames of Youth son is on my team well damn" said Izumi who slapped her forehead after realizing who or better yet what she would have to deal with.
"Well then good to know if you pass your test later on we'll tell you about us later" said Yugao.
"Another test?" asked Rock Lee.
"What's the test on?" asked Shino.
"You'll be facing against another team today" said Yugao.
"Why and who?" asked Shikamaru.
"That's going to be a secret and we want to see where you stand" said Izumi.
-10 minutes secret training ground-
Ten minutes later both teams Nine and Ten showed up to the same training ground which turned out to be training ground 35 a training ground that most don't know about nor used. When both teams saw the other they greeted them however then there was an underlining thought that they had to fight each other. All four sensei went to go talk to the two jonins at the gate after talking to them they came back to their teams.
"Hey Sensei, what are they doing here" pointing at the gate guards "and what are we doing here?" asked Shikamaru pointing at himself and his fellow Genins.
"Oh, I see you know where we are at" replied Yugao with a wicked smile.
"Shit" said Shikamaru this caught the attention of the rest of the genins.
"Where are we Shikamaru?" asked Kiba.
"Everyone gather around" said Shikamaru once the rest of the genins surrounded him he carried on "This is training ground 35" added Shikamaru.
"Who does that mean?" asked TenTen who was confused.
"My father had often told me that training ground 35 is like an underground fight club" said Rock Lee who was wrapping his arms and taking off his leg weights.
"Well, if it isn't the former Hokage's kid and his friends" said one teen with a chunin vest on.
"You six kids need to run along this is no place for fresh genins" added another chunin.
"And who are you two?" asked Choji turning towards the strangers.
"Whoa there Choji calm down this is Ko and Mato they control this training ground" said Shikamaru who was holding his friend back.
"Yeah you need to listen to your friend here guys like you get killed for trying to act tough around here" said Ko.
"We can kick your asses" said Kiba.
"You six may want to be careful there's no way you're beating a team with three years of experience like my cousin Menma" said Tenzo Senju.
"And just who the fuck are you?" asked Shikamaru who was now pissed that someone was claiming his cousin.
"I am Tenzo Senju one of the last few Senju members left and you must be Shikamaru Nara I wish you good luck" said Tenzo as he walked away.
"What's going on here?" asked another voice. When everyone turned around they saw a man they all knew whether it be good or bad.
"Captain Ro it is good to see you" said Yugao as she walked up behind the genins.
"It is good to see you as well however I must ask what you are doing here with genins?" asked Captain Ro.
"Me and Izumi are having our genins fight here for their genin test and it seems that Might Gai and Hinoko had the same idea" said Yugao.
"Well, the rules will be explained to you soon however all six of you will be facing six other genins that are in the reserved core they have been genins for over three years so do be mindful of that fact" said Captain Ro as he said this the other senseis walked over.
"Who did you pick to face my team?" asked Izumi.
"We'll still kick their ass no matter how much experience they have" said Kiba who only had Choji to back him up the other genins were silent.
"You may want to calm down Kiba you don't even know who your fighting" said TenTen trying to shut the boy up.
"Well then follow me if you dare" said Captain Ro as he walked away.
"Trouble-some I've beaten people who you've trained before" said Shikamaru ready for a nap this stopped the captain.
"Ah but that's the thing it has been years" replied Captain Ro as he kept walking.
-Five Minutes later-
Everyone followed Captain Ro into the training ground they were stripped of their weapons and headband. Shikamaru, Shino and their senseis had been here before so they knew where they were going behind them were TenTen, Kiba, Choji, and Rock Lee who were looking around and had KI sent towards them. After five more they were taken to a room where it was explained that they would be fighting in the Gulag they had to signed papers just in case someone lose an arm or two there was even the possibly of death so yeah they had to ask to make sure they wanted to go through with it.
"Before we enter this is your only chance to back out?" asked Might Gai who had been lacking his usually FLAMES OF YOUTH since this enter this place.
"I have a question what's up with you and your son? usually you two are happier" said Izumi.
"We do have our flames however we're in an enemy territory" replied Rock Lee.
"Huh what are you talking about and what is this place?" asked Kiba.
"Training ground 35 is not in Konoha" said Shino plainly.
"Can someone explain?" said Choji was a little annoyed.
"Training ground 35 is the entrance to an underground fight club that is connected to almost all the lands however is landed in natural ground with would be the Land of Wolves due a pact in here only Taijutsu and limited Ninjutsu are allowed here however that doesn't stop people from breaking the rules" explained Shikamaru.
"Explain further please?" asked TenTen.
"Means if you die here there nothing anyone could do about it" said Shino.
"Alright guys and gals it's a thirty-minute trip to the arena follow me" said a bear masked Anbu running off. The senseis followed him making the genins take off running.
-Timeskip-
Thirty minutes later the six genins, their four senseis, and anbu escort had made it to a large building that had a line of people waiting outside. When the group walked to the entrance the anbu member informed them that they weren't allowed to go further due to current rules. When the genins enter the building they saw that it was stadium like which had an open ceiling, the seats in the arena were full of fans who were betting on fights. There was security all around the arena because of how many nobles and daimyos were in the building betting huge lump sums of money. Down below was a field that had a rocky terrain, a terrain with a full of water with a small inland in it, and the last terrain was full of grass with a small lake in it. They were then escorted towards the back where they would have to wait before fighting. Once making it to a small locker room the referee who is name Chi went over the rules of what jutsus they could and couldn't use. Ten minutes later everyone was allowed to go to the arena to watch the fights.
"I am Chi I will be your ref for the fights If I see that a person can't fight or has given up the fight is over is that clear?" asked Chi.
"Yes Chi-San" respond the all the fighters.
-Ten minutes-
"It is time for some new fresh meat to show us what they got let's get started with the first fight" said Chi. Cheers erupted as they were ready to see some fights after a minute the cheers died down and Chi called down the first fight. "On the right side we have Jess Uchiha representing Kirigakure vs Kiba Inuzuka representing Konoha" said Chi. This announcement earned Jess some weird looks it was publicly known that part of the Uchiha clan had joined Kirigakure.
Jessica Uchiha was a genin that had gradated four years ago in Konoha however was stuck as a genin when her teammates and sensei died during a mission. She was placed in the genin reserves for years however after leaving Konoha with most of the clan she was given the rank of chunin although she still lacked the experience.
"A Uchiha member vs a Inuzuka member" said a person in the crowd.
"This should be good" said a man as he put money on Jess winning.
"Troublesome" said Shikamaru kind of worried for his teammate he known she was no push over seeing as she had been a genin lost time they seen each other.
"This should be interesting kick his ass Jessica" said Captain Ro hoping the girl kick the brats ass.
-Down in the fight area-
"Are both fighters ready?" asked Chi. Both fighters nodded yes while staring each other down so Chi moved out the way and yelled "COMMENCE".
Jessica went on the attack trying to end the fight as fast as possible however Kiba and Akamaru weren't no push overs when it down to a hand-to-hand fight. Jess and Kiba started going punch for punch and kick for kick after a while Jess did a spinning roundhouse kick knocking Kiba down. She then pulled out kunai and started to run towards Akamaru she knew Kiba would give up if she threatened to kill the dog. Kiba cursed his luck he thought that because this girl was in the genin reserves she would be easy pickings and it turn out that he was very wrong. Once he looked up at his opponent he saw his dog running in between her legs as she threw kunai as the dog.
Once making it to his partners side Kiba threw a charka pill to Akamaru which turn the dog side red. Kiba then did the clone jutsu and Akamaru turned into a copy of him and then threw down some smoke. "Fang over Fang" yelled Kiba as he and Akamaru started spinning like bullets towards Jessica.
However, Jessica had a counter "Fire Release: Fire Lions Roar" said Jessica the fire foamed into a lion roaring the amount of heat coming from the roar stopped Kiba's attack making him and his dog fly into the wall. She then proceeded to walk over and picked up Akamaru "Give up or I'll burn the dog alive" said Jessica who was holding up Akamaru by the neck. Kiba was ready to give up the fight and save his nin pup however Akamaru turned its neck bite the girl's hand sadly for the pup Jessica was heartless and decided to go through with her threat throwing the dog up casting a small fire jutsu on the small dog.
This enraged Kiba "I'm going to kill you" yelled Kiba as he ran towards the girl Jess in turn took out multiple kunais and throw at Kiba then did a few hand signs. Fire Release: Flaming Birds" said Jessica lighting the kunais on fire which pierced the young Inuzuka in the chest, arms, and legs. "Time to finish this" said Jess as she started to run at the boy however she was stopped as a shadow connected to her's and bugs blocked her pathway.
"Because of interruption Kiba has forfeited the match Jessica Uchiha is the winner" said Chi. Jessica had walked away while the nurses put Kiba and Akamaru on a stretcher to get them medical treatment so that they didn't die.
-In the stands-
"While that was decent fight could've gone better" said a clocked figure who was judging the genins.
"Inuzuka-San foolishly underestimated his opponent and it cost him" said another who wrote down his evaluation.
"One down five more to go" said another on his left.
-Over to Captain Ro-
"Hey captain what are we going to do about the information of Uchiha clan" asked Hawk.
"The very fact that we are here is a privilege we will not say anything" said Captain Ro.
-Over with Shikamaru and friends -
"Well, he fought hard" said Shino.
"Shina you could be nicer" said TenTen taking a jab at her friend for his voice cracking.
"He's right though Kiba came in here overconfident with no plan between him and Akamaru" said Shikamaru.
"I agree compared to Menma who has two nin wolves…" said Shino who didn't finish his sentence.
"Keep going" said Hinoko who was listening.
"Menma is a Nara by blood me and Shino here has seen him fight before my cousin plans his fights he has plans and coronation with all of his nin animals and while their teamwork isn't perfect they would have done better than that also before someone ask I don't ask where he got the tiger from" said Shikamaru.
"Wait he has a tiger?" asked TenTen.
"Damn" said Shikamaru slapping his forehead. He still had eyes on him so he answered hoping they wouldn't ask anything else "Yes a saber tooth tiger and it's the alpha of all his nin animals" answered Shikamaru who was hoping he was next so he could get away from them.
"As a Jonin I'm going to have to ask where he got the tiger from?" asked Gai.
"Probably the Forest of Death it has some weird animals and bugs in there that's where I found some of my bugs" stated Shino.
"Who… Never mind why I mean how?" said Yugao who couldn't finish her thoughts.
"Told you not to ask" said Shikamaru.
"You two could be nicer to your future teammate" said Hinoko.
"Sadly, we are being nice however again he was not supposed to be here this is how we always talk about our teammates pointing out what they do wrong or bad at so that in a life or death fight it is covered or not as bad as it was when we pointed it out" said Shikamaru.
"Then who's team should he be on?" asked Might Gai eyeing the two.
"Honestly we don't know anymore" said Shino.
"Yeah depending on how you look at it" added Shikamaru.
All four Jonins looked at the two boy something told them they were having a silent conversation or maybe it was the fact that they were watching a fight between a boy name Nero Hoshigaki and a grown man named Log. After a five-minute fight Nero ended up beating the man unconscious it wasn't until that moment that Chi called the fight.
"How are you two planning to win?" asked TenTen.
"Brain power" said Shikamaru.
"Slowly pick them apart" said Shino.
"That won't work against them whoever you fight it's going to be coming for blood" said Menma who scared everyone in the area.
"Who are you and why are you over here?" asked Hinoko.
"I'm Menma Hoshigaki-Uzumaki the reason I'm over here is to talk to Shikamaru" answered Menma.
"And what's stopping someone from informing the Hokage you are here?" asked TenTen this earned her a glare from all who heard this sentence.
An Anbu member in a wolf masked walked over "This is fight club we do not talk about fight club or you will be killed do you understand?" asked the man.
"Yes Sir" said TenTen who was fearing for her life.
"Did you watch Kiba's fight?" questioned Shino.
"Yes the problem is he was arrogant he was going up against Jessica Uchiha I'm surprised he didn't give up he should've known who she was within the village" said Menma.
"Most of the Uchiha clan left" said Izumi Uchiha. The three other jonins looked at her like she was crazy however Menma said something that shocked them more then Izumi statement "Oh so that's why I been seeing more Uchiha members lately" said Menma.
"Why do you have so many animals?" asked Hinoko trying to get some information from the boy.
"As a person who usually works with multiple nin animals all I can tell you that unless you have the experience of working with animals you will always fail I would know since I have been working with nin animals all my life" replied Menma.
"How did you get them?" asked TenTen.
"All of my animals lost their mothers just like me which is why I take care of all of them and they in turn take care of me" said Menma smiling while thinking of his animals.
"Good luck in your next fights" said Menma walking away over his clan mates.
-With the Hokage-
Hiruzen was sitting in his office watching what was going on at training ground 35 until a knife was placed in the back of his spy. When he saw who did it he was upset "What the hell is that brat doing there he shouldn't be there" said Hiruzen out loud.
"Hokage-sama is there a problem?" asked the front desk lady who was working third shift.
"Call for Danzo tell him he needs to be here ASAP" said Hiruzen.
-Back in the arena-
"The next match will be Shino Aburame vs Byakuya Kuchiki" said Chi.
This shocked a few people Byakuya was a ninja that was born and raised in the Land of Iron however before he could become a samurai his family moved to the hidden leaf.
"He stands no chance against me his clan uses bugs while my clan uses blades that could cut down even a person who uses Iron release" said Byakuya looking at Menma who looked back at the older teen.
Byakuya has slate gray eyes and long black hair, which he keeps up in intricate white headpieces called kenseikan which symbolize his nobility as the head of the Kuchiki Clan, wearing three on top of his head and another two on the right side. In addition to the standard clan uniform, he wears a white scarf and is a family heirloom, having been handed down from generation to generation and given to each head of the Kuchiki Clan He wears fingerless white tekkō which only cover the back of his hands.
"Well, I'm not going down easily and you wouldn't stand a chance against someone like Menma" said Shino.
"You sound like a fan girl" replied Byakuya.
"In the event you beat him and I would like to test that theory" said Menma from his seat.
"I'll make this quick then" said Byakuya.
"Alright if you're both ready to fight let's get down to it" said Chi. Both fighters get in their stances once Chi saw they were about to try to destroy each other she moved out of the way.
"Senbonzakura Kageyoshi" said Byakuya who turned his sword faced down and dropping it into the floor. Multiple swords appeared coming out of the ground then disappeared turning into small pink flowers to all those who saw it they thought it was a genjutsu however when it hit Shino he flew into the wall however that turned out to just be a bug clone standing there.
-Ten minutes later-
Byakuya was getting tired he didn't think that this Shino would put up that much of a fight however he was proving him wrong. Shino was looking worse for wear he was bleeding, his jacket was burned and torn, and he was flat out being overmatched by his opponent. Byakuya had been fighting against Shino and was getting tired of him and these goddamn bugs that his clan used. Byakuya decided to that he would end this fight soon so that he can save energy to fight Menma however trying to kill Shino wasn't going to be easy.
"Kenjutsu: Sun dance" said Byakuya who blade was set on fire he then slashed the blade of fire towards Shina.
Pulling on the charka from his tailed beast Shino went through hand signs for a forbidden jutsu that the Aburame clan use "Special Technique: Shadow bug" said Shino. Small red bugs flew towards their intend target ready to eat the teen skin and bone.
When Shikamaru and Menma heard what jutsu he was using they both yelled for him to stop however it was too late. Both attacks hit the other person Shino was knocked down and some of his clothes were burnt while Byakuya was covered in bugs that was eating him alive. The fire of Shino was immediately put out while the anbu members used wind techniques to get the bugs on Byakuya whose face was half eaten.
"Checkmate" said Shino who then passed out.
"It's a tie also the rocky terrain is being shut down we will now be using the other terrains so that we can give you more exciting fights " said Chi. To this the crowd cheered and demanded more interesting fights in the event they could see another fight like that they would take it.
The nurses came down and grabbed both fighters to be taken to the hospital for treatment Menma was surprised that the boy had a tailed beast as well he kind of want to fight the boy now. During Shino's fight Menma and Shikamaru had talked about what was going on in Konoha Shikamaru had asked Menma to came to Konoha so that they could be a team however he refuse which upset Shikamaru. Menma, Neo, Nero, Akiko was all sitting in the stands talking strategies they knew Shikamaru was most likely going to fight someone strong however they didn't know who which was the problem since they were betting on the fights as well. (Author's Notes: Throughout the chapters there are going to be a LOT of betting going on)
While they were talking some folder fights were happening and three people had been killed however they signed a waiver so there was nothing no one could do. The three figures that was covered up earlier had started talking about the fights. They were impressed on how Shino handed his fight they were also impressed on how fast Akiko killed her opponent the other fights they didn't care for because they were boring or one sided. One of them had paid Chi to put Shikamaru up against someone who good at Taijutsu his friends disapproved of this however didn't say anything.
"So, Ko you paid Chi to move one of the brats up the card?" asked his friend.
"Yes Yoji I did we're here to do a job" said Ko.
"Well hopefully one of them doesn't fight Menma" said Yamato. (Quick Note: Tenzo and Yamato are two different people)
"Why?" asked Ko.
"Rumors say that the boy has a few kekkei genkais and probably a dojutsu" said Yamato.
"I knew about the kekkei genkais but a dojutsu as well?" asked Ko who was shocked that the boy had strong qualities.
"Yeah if you ever have to fight him alone give up" said Yoji. Ko was still looking at him like he didn't understand so he went on "The reason why I say that is because Menma can use bugs just like my clan"
"What do you mean? he's not an Aburame" said Ko who was dumbfounded.
"While in the village Menma was given a hive on bugs as a gift of friendships something a few members disagreed with however was overruled" informed Yoji.
-5 minutes later-
"The next fight will be Menma of Kirigakure vs Yoji of Konoha" said Chi. Menma disappeared from his seat in a poof of blue flame and appeared in the arena this shocked everyone in the room most didn't know the boy was in the room while others who did notice didn't think he would be fighting here.
"Hey, he's not one of the genin" said Ko.
"No matter it'll only take a minute to take him down" said Yoji smirking as he jumped down in the field.
"Wait you just told us now to fight him alone" said Yamato in a confused tone.
"He is an off brand Aburame I can take him" replied Yoji.
"Let's see what you can do against a hunter ninja who has two years under his belt" said Captain Ro.
-In the field-
Yoji was standing across the field from Menma who he had only seen once within the Aburame clan's compound. He noticed that Menma could use Rinkaichu bugs however unlike Torune Aburame his skin didn't change color to purple. Along with his sand and the beetles Yoji could die in this battle if he didn't see Menma as the threat he really was. The good news was they was fighting in the terrain with little to no water to Yoji this even the playing field.
"Are you two ready?" asked Chi after getting two head nods she moved out the way.
At the start of the battle Menma surround himself in a dome of Iron to the point that all Yoji could see was one of his eyes which creep him out. Yoji who didn't have a real plan so he just started sending bugs and wind jutsu at the dome which seemed like it was not affected. Using the Iron that was flowing out of his body Menma yelled "Iron Release: Kage Bunshin" creating 100 clones that ran at Yoji attacking the man in groups of ten trying to slowly exhaust him.
"Fire Release: Fire Ball Jutsu" said Yoji. The large ball of fire only took out of a quarter of the clones while other went through hand signs and yelled "Earth Release: Earth Wall".
"A Aburame member using fire jutsus" said Menma from his cocoon.
"Shut up you damn brat" said Yoji sending more bugs towards Menma.
"Water Release: Water Severing Wave" yelled 3 clones. Three jet like water pressure shoot towards Yoji which he dodged the first two however the third one hit him dead on.
"Damn it where are you" said Menma whose voice sound a bit demonic.
"Right here Secret Art: Beetles of Death Jutsu" said Yoji from above sending his bugs to cover Menma cocoon. Once the kochu landed on the cocoon they started to enter the hole in the cocoon after a moment there was a scream and the cocoon started to fall.
-In the stands-
"Tenzo we need to stop this fight" said Nero who was worried about his friend.
"He's okay don't worry about him" said Neo who unlike his brother had faith in his friend Menma.
"Look" said Akiko pointing at a person who was smoking.
-Back in the arena-
"Well damn you finally beat my clone" said Menma who was smoking weed. (Author's Note: Say NO to tobacco just smoke weed lol)
"What the hell-" said Yoji however a huge lighting wolf was coming towards him.
"Lighting Release: Lighting Wolf Jutsu" yelled two clones. This jutsu reminded people of one of Kakashi's jutsus.
Yoji went through hand sign quickly "Earth Release: Rocky terrain jutsu". This defeated some of the clones and stopped the jutsu that was coming towards him.
Menma then made 20 more clones to help with his next attack while Yoji sent his bugs to take care of the clones however his bugs had a harder time take down the clones for some reason. Looking closer Yoji saw that his bugs were being turned into ash and falling off Menma and his clones.
"Damn he has a flame armor" thought Yoji.
"Kage Bunshin" said Menma making fifty more clones. He had half rush at the Yoji while the others went through a long sequence of hand signs.
"Secret Art: Kage Bunshin:" said Yoji making five large bug clones that towered Menma and his clones however this did make him drop to a knee. The large clones started to get rid of the all the clones of Menma that was on the field however there was a small problem. Some of Menma's new clones had turned out to be explosive blowing up the arms or legs of the clones.
After 3 minutes the clones were done and yelled "Demonic Flame: Firebomb Jutsu". Right after they popped out of existence the flame wasn't as powerful as Menma wanted however they did hit their targets. It also went though some of the rocky terrain bad news was that it rid of most of the clones Menma was hiding behind. Yoji took this opportunity to ran make five more clones and try some taijutsu against the Hoshigaki member which Menma and his clones ran head on at the man. A couple of people and Yoji thought Menma was dumb for this however upon Yoji connecting with what he thought to be Menma's face he felt a shoot of pain in his wrist and heard his bone pop.
"Explosion release: Dirty Fireworks" said Menma as he and his clone blow-up all-around Yoji and his clones.
"Getting low on clones aren't we" said Menma though the smoke.
-In the stands-
People was putting more and more money on Menma to win the fight while others were doing the same of Yoji knowing that the man was a anbu member.
-Back to the fight-
When the smoke cleared there was a large earth dome in the middle of the arena although it did have small holes in it.
"So, you survived" said Menma not asking.
"Are you going to fight or just hide behind your clones the whole fight?" asked Yoji he was getting tired Menma who kept throwing clones at him and he felt he wasn't getting anywhere.
"Explosion Release: Moe jutsu" yelled Menma. This confused Yoji and everyone else until parts of the field around Yoji started blowing however none of them damaged the man.
When Yoji stood up he noticed that the terrain was filled with a lot of water he then heard his friends yelling "Get out of there". When Yoji looked over to Menma he saw a group of clones running at him with lightning bolts In their hands Yoji whose clothes were now torn to piece showing his body which had holes for his had decided to stop playing games.
"Earth Release: Landslide" said Yoji slapping his hands against the ground. This caused the clones that was running towards him to trip and fall shocking Menma whose Iron was connected to the water and Yoji for a slight second.
"Give up before I kill you" said Menma who was down on one knee.
"Never Demon Fox" said Yoji spitting out blood. Yoji then proceed to take out some pills that he shouldn't have which shocked one person who was a rouge ninja from that clan. Yoji then proceed to eat all three pills boosting his charka levels ten-fold.
-Ten minutes later-
Both Menma and Yoji was bloody however Menma was in a better shape while Yoji was now covered in blood and his clones no longer covered the top half of his body showing everyone the holes within his body. Everyone in the room knew that this battle was coming towards the end however they didn't know who would win.
"I'll say this one more time after I that… I will no longer hold back" said Menma panting who was standing on an Iron cloud most of the people in the room was trying to figure out where he kept the sand to do attacks however they didn't see his tattoos that were on his arms because of his bandages and his hoodie.
"Bring it brat" said Yoji.
Four clone surround Yoji and Menma "Fuinjutsu: Barrier Jutsu" said the clones.
"A fight to the death I see" said Yoji however he didn't get a response.
"Poison Release: Poisonous fog" yelled Menma there was heavy fog no one could see into the barrier. Yoji bugs tried to keep the poison out of his system however between the potent charka that was coming from Menma and this jutsu Yoi senses were going haywire. Menma made three more clones and surround the man from each side then they went though hand signs and whispered, "Water Release: Azure Dragon Palm". Menma and his clone proceed to relentlessly strike the man until he dropped to his knees barely breathing if he didn't get help fast, he would die which is what Menma wanted seeing as the man was a Konoha ninja. Menma had his clones keep the barrier until he felt like the man was truly dead after a while he had them drop it when the mist slowly went away the crowd saw Menma's hands in the man's chest.
"Winner Menma Hoshigaki" yelled Chi. She was shocked the boy had killed Yoji she knew this would cause a problem later however everyone who fought knew the rules and what could happen. The crowd was kind of shocked that Menma killed Yoji yes the man was a root anbu member however he was still an anbu member. Everyone that was from Konoha wanted to attack the Hoshigaki member they couldn't because of the rules and the pact.
"So that's the son of Kushina Uzumaki-Senju" thought Captain Ro.
"He just killed him" yelled a rookie anbu as he ran down to attacked Menma however was stopped.
"Stand down this is an order" said Captain Ro.
"But Captain" said Ko as he too was about to jump down however he was shaking.
"If he's anything like his mother which I see he is he'll kill you" said Captain Ro. This confused most in the room so he explained "Menma here is the son of one Kushina Uzumaki-Senju". This shocked Menma and everyone else in the room who didn't know this information.
"How did you know and who told you?" asked Menma whose mind was racing a mile a minute however his face didn't show it. Tenzo and his clanmates was now standing next to him ready for a fight however no one came near them.
"Menma anyone with half a brain would know that the first Hokage married Mito Uzumaki making the Senju and Uzumaki family" said Captain Ro.
"I know your mother before she passed away you kind of look just like her in a way" said Izumi.
"We'll be taking a ten-minute break to fix the arena" said Chi.
-With Menma and Tenzo-
"We need to get out of here village pact or not you just killed a guy" said Tenzo.
"Fine let's go" said Menma.
"Damn Menma never knew you were a killer like that" said Kurama.
"Not going to lie all you had to do was beat the guy and you end up killing him" said Son Goku.
"Thanks guys got to do what I got to do" Thought Menma.
"Menma are you listening we need to go Nero and Neo have already left" said Tenzo shaking his cousin.
Menma blinked his eyes a few times and made a clone to say bye to Shikamaru "Okay I'll send a clone to say bye let's go" said Menma.
-Over to Team Nine and Ten-
"Why are you so violent?" asked Shikamaru out loud he then heard a voice behind him.
"He was offered a chance to give up he didn't so he died Anyways do you think you can beat the next person?" asked Menma.
"Maybe however looking over how the last few battles went between my team and the other team we are down 0-2" said Shikamaru.
"Kiba was defeated as for Shino that was a tie so you're actually 0-1-1" said Menma.
"Trouble-some" said Shikamaru.
"Anyways The bugs on your body should work perfectly against anyone" replied Menma.
"I'm not going to use them if you aren't out there and Shino is still in the hospital just in case they try to eat me" said Shikamaru.
"You don't have the same bugs that I do so they won't try to eat you plus you do still have that scroll I give you right?" asked Menma.
"Yeah but I'm not using the power of your friend again last time I had passed out for like two days" said Shikamaru.
"Sorry to interrupt you two but Shikamaru we need to talk" said Choji.
-Over to Team Nine and Ten
Shikamaru and Choji walked over to TenTen, Rock Lee, and Choji who were all talking about the last few fights especially Menma's fight they didn't know he was capable of doing something like that.
"Did you guys see what just happened he just killed him like assassination style" said Choji shocked.
"Choji-San you need to keep calm you could be up next" replied Rock Lee.
"The way he fought was WAY different from last time" said Shikamaru thinking.
"Who did you think is next?" asked TenTen.
"Well, their pulling names now" said Choji.
The first name on the board was Shikamaru Nara the next name was Kai Li.
"Troublesome" said Shikamaru who could've sworn he knew that name. Shikamaru was walking down the stairs looking for his opponent however he didn't see anyone coming down the opposite side of the field. When he made it all the way to the field a female dropped down in front of him. She had tan skin, violet eyes, she stood 5'8 the young girl was wearing a purple and black tank top shirt with a mesh shirt which covered her d-cup bust. She was wearing black anbu pants that went down to her knees, and some slides which throw off the outfit.
"Pleased to meet you again Nara-San" said Kai.
"You know me?" asked Shikamaru looking at the girl he could've sworn he had met before.
"Oi Shikamaru be careful" said Menma looking at the girl that looked familiar somehow.
"You don't remember me I'm hurt" said Kai in a playful voice.
"Get each other's numbers or whatever later right now fight" said Chi as she moved way.
-Two minutes later-
Shikamaru was on the ground knocked out and Kai had his head on her lap everyone in the room was shocked that the girl so fast and knocked the boy out so quickly.
"Foxy-Kun do you want to fight?' said Kai as she was rubbing Menma hair.
"How the… she's fast so super I wonder if she has swift release" thought Menma.
"Winner Kai Li" said Chi.
"Menma I must ask you to leave" said Chi.
"Oh, I'm a clone" said the clone as it turned into blue fire.
"Well follow me Might Gai and Hinoko so we can go over the information" said Captain Ro.
-Five minutes later with Izumi and Yugao-
"Damn let's hope our genins do better" said Izumi.
"I agree however what's your relationship with Menma?" questioned Yugao.
"I can't answer that question" said Izumi.
"And why not?" asked Yugao.
"WE both know that we are no longer in Konoha, WE both know that training ground 35 is used been used as a fight club, and WE know that information of other ninjas being here cannot leave this building" said Izumi Looking at her fellow Jonin Yugao understood and just walked away.
-Over to Team Ten-
Team Ten was preparing to fight until they heard an announcement from Chi that was a little heartbreaking.
"To avoid any more deaths from now on it will be pure Taijutsu also the next match will be Rock Lee vs Kiko" said Chi. Kiko was a genin ninja from the land of snow he had a year up on Rock Lee however Lee had more experience in hand-to-hand combat. Once each fighter was in the arena Chi reminded them that they could only use Taijutsu and weapons when she got a nodded from them both she said "Begin". In under five minutes Rock Lee had knocked out the young man who had seem to be on the back foot of the fight the whole time. After winning his fight Rock Lee walked to his team high fiving them.
Before they could really get into a conversation the next fight was called "Can Choji from Konoha and Jirobo from Otogakure come down" said Chi.
When both teens made it the arena they noticed that they were in the terrain where Menma killed Yoji. When the smell hit Choji nose it made him puke which made Jirobo and the Otogakure ninjas laugh at the boy. Chi had asked the boy if he was good and ready to fight however when Choji was bout to answer he start puking again this time it wasn't his lunch. Chi immediately called for the medic ninjas to check on the boy after looking at him they declared him unable to fight and they took him to the hospital because the boy was poisoned. After that happened everyone was asked to leave since someone was poisoned and they didn't know who did it. Izumi and Yugao told TenTen she would be tested on a different day while they went to report to the Hokage.
-Four hours later within the Hokage office-
The Hokage and the Jonin senseis were going over which teams passed and which teams didn't. The senseis from teams 1 through 6 all failed now It was Kakashi's turn to inform the Hokage of the problem.
"Team 7 is down a member" stated Kakashi this surprised no one.
"What happened?" asked the Hokage.
"Neji flat out refused to team up a Uchiha and his fan girl" replied Kakashi.
"I guess the Hygua clan have been a headache today" said a random Jonin.
"Both of these brats are genins they have no choice" yelled the Hokage.
"Speaking of teams Team Eight failed" said Kurenai.
"Team Ten failed as well" added Izumi.
"Team Nine is injured but I cannot in good faith pass the team" said Might Gai.
"So, you're telling me all our rookie genins failed?" asked the Hokage was gaining a headache.
"The only thing we can do is send them all back" said one Jonin.
"Whose all injured?" asked the Hokage.
"Kiba was hurt pretty bad and Shino is going to need some time to recover" said Hinoko.
"Rock Lee and Choji was poisoned" said Might Gai.
"Ten-Ten didn't get to test however Shikamaru was plain out lazy and throw a fight" said Izumi.
"How about we just mix up teams 1-6 and teams 7,8, and 10" said Asuma.
"So, of the clan kids we have Shino Aburame, Ino Yamanaka, Sasuke Uchiha, Satsuki Uchiha, Kiba Inuzuka, Shikamaru Nara, Choji Akimichi, Neji Hyuga, and Hinata Hyuga" said Iruka who was in the corner listening.
"6 boys and 3 girls" said Shisui.
"Don't forgot it about TenTen, Rock Lee" said Might Gai who personally trained both of them.
"That's bring us to 7 boys 3 girls" said The Hokage.
"Wait we are forgetting about Sakura Haruno no she's not a clan kid but where do we place her?" asked a random Jonin.
"Teams one through six will be mixed up you all may leave with Iruka" said The Hokage with that said all the senseis of those teams left the room with Iruka and now it was time to work on team seven through ten Mizuki replaced Iruka in the room.
"I think we should have Ino-Shika-Cho that always works well" said Asuma.
"Yes it does however Choji's barely been in the village, Ino would hold back both of her male teammates since she barely trains, and Shikamaru works better with Shino given the academy reports" said Mizuki.
"No matter they are just going to have to get it together they will be team 8 Asuma and Kurenai will be the senseis of this team" said The Hokage.
"But" said Mizuki before being stopped.
"Ino-Shika-Cho has worked before and it'll work again" said the Hokage.
"Well, that leaves Shino Aburame, Sasuke Uchiha, Satsuki Uchiha, Kiba Inuzuka, Neji Hyuga, Rock Lee, TenTen, Hinata Hyuga, and Sakura Haruno" said Mizuki.
"Well Neji and Hinata can't be placed on the same team nor can they be placed on a team with Sasuke or Satsuki" said Kakashi.
"Can I give you the teams that were originally placed together?" asked Mizuki.
Rubbing his forehead, the Hokage finally give up "Fine let's hear it".
"Team Seven: Sasuke, Satsuki, and Kiba Kakashi and Shisui would make great senseis for this team because of Kakashi's dog contract and both sensei's can train the Uchiha twins on how to use their dojutsu." Said Mizuki going over the team seven. "The next team is Team Eight which consist of Shikamaru, Ten-Ten, and Neji as for senseis maybe Yugao and Might Gai because they cover each other's weak points" this earned him looks that some didn't agree with what he said. "Team Nine: Rock Lee, Hinata, and Sakura this will either make or break the fan girl this team has the talent to be a great taijutsu team maybe even the greatest taijutsu team in ninja history" said Mizuki. "And lastly Team Ten: Shino, Choji, and Ino for the same reason as the team nine" said Mizuki.
"I disagree these teams don't make any sense" said The Hokage.
"Hokage-Sama/Dad come on" said everyone in the room.
"Where does Kiba fit in team seven?" asked the Hokage.
"Hokage-Sama my mother is a Inuzuka member" said Kakashi.
"As for Team Nine we will need to switch the senseis around Asuma and Yugao will be paired up" said The Hokage. This upset Asuma and Kurenai who wanted to team up and "Teach" students together. "You never explained Team Ten do you think that it would be the same as Team Nine?" asked the Hokage looking at Mizuki.
"Most yes however with Kurenai and Izumi leading them they can teach her genjutsu along with having muscle making them a good support/scout team" said Mizuki.
After a minute of thinking about it Hiruzen looked at the senseis than Mizuki "Senseis Inform you genins of the new teams and that there will be a two week break so that all genins in the hospital can rest" said the Hokage.
"Thank you Hokage-sama" said Mizuki.
"Wait I have one more announcement training ground 35 will be shut down" said Hiruzen.
"But Hokage-sama" said every Jonin and the Anbu members who was in the shadows however they were shut down.
"That a place like that shouldn't been in Konoha it will be not allowed here nor will my ninjas be fighting illegally you may leave" said Hiruzen.

PS. In this story Training ground 35 is a building that with the use of Fuinjutsu takes a person or persons to an underground club.
