Chapter Four: Training part 2

Author's Note: Before we start let me explain something the bugs Menma received from the Aburame clan got absorbed and became his poison release. The bugs are still there they just don't have a physical form.

-Now-
-Two weeks later-
Teams one through ten were all told that they would be given retest and they would be placed with different teammates. It took a week for all the genins who were hospitalized to get full healed and after half a week before they allowed to leave the hospital. All the genins were glad that they would be given another test but what was even better was the fact that they would be no longer teamed up with former teammates however others didn't like the new teams they were placed in. During this two week break Sakura's parents were assassinated by poisonous food unfortunately for the girl her parents bodies and their house had to be burn due to the fumes that was contained in the house. This left the young girl without a family and without friends since she hadn't made any friends while chasing her crush Sasuke which led to her quitting being a ninja of the village. Ino had healed within the hospital and was happy to know that she would be placed on a new team not wanting to be teamed up Satsuki nor Hinata again ever. Her father Inoichi had made it clear that his daughter shouldn't be on a team with two females who tries to kill their teammate. While in the hospital Choji had put on some weight due to his parents and doctor noticing that the boy was at an unhealthy weight. Upon leaving the hospital Choji was ordered to put on 50 pounds unlike his family he liked to stay in shape however after being told that if he stayed at the weight he was at now he would continue to keep getting sick.
Shikamaru was a little annoyed that he threw a fight and still wasn't placed on a team with his friends his plan had failed and on top of that he now had two new people to learn. Neji and Hinata was happy not to be placed on a team with either on the Uchiha members however it was put in their folder that they didn't work well with others. Satsuki during these two weeks had gone missing neither one of her brothers nor her senseis could found her making them think she fled the village however an Anbu member in a wolf mask told she was training in a private training ground. Sasuke had spent the first week searching for his sister once being told she was safe he focused on his training. Rock Lee and Ten-Ten continued to work with Might Gai with both being able to open the first gate although it was highly dangerous to for to open them.
-Team Seven's Test-
Team seven was told to meet at training ground seven at 8:00 am unlike usual Kakashi was there with Shisui ready to test their team.
-Five minutes later-
All three genins showed up ready for any test given.
"Well let's do introductions I'll go first my name is Kakashi Hatake, I like things, I dislike other things, and my goal for the future is for all three of you to make Chunin" said Kakashi not looking up from his book.
"My name is Shisui Uchiha, I like training, I dislike nuke ninjas, and my goal for the future is to make sure none of you die" said Shisui smiling which creeped out Kiba.
"My name is Sasuke Uchiha, I like tomatoes and training, I dislike a few people, and my goal for the future is to be the next clan head" said Sasuke.
"My name is Satsuki, I like my friends, and training, I dislike the Hygua clan, my goal for the future is to be a strong kunoichi and future Hokage" said Satsuki. Both senseis noticed the girl didn't use the Uchiha name Shisui knew why however Kakashi put it in the back of his mind.
"My name is Kiba Inuzuka and the dog on my head is Akamaru, I like my family and training, I dislike cats, wearing shoes, my goals are to be clan head one day" said Kiba.
"Alright you three have been placed on a team because two of you have Sharingans and Kiba has a nin dog just like me" said Kakashi.
"Umm Sensei Akamaru is still not allowed to fight until he completes his physical and his physical training" said Kiba.
-Flashback-
A week ago, after his match with Jessica Uchiha he was in the hospital while his ninja dog was taken to animal hospital. 2 hours later his mother and his older sister both came to see how he was doing and what happened.
"Hey how you feel pup?" asked Tsume sitting near the hospital bed.
"I'm okay" replied Kiba.
"What happened?" asked Hana.
"I was beat by an Uchiha" said Kiba looking down.
"And she burned one of your nin animals?" asked Tsume although her tone made it sound like statement more than a question.
"Yes how's he doing?" asked Kiba who was almost crying.
"I'm sorry to say but he'll be down for a while" said Hana.
"Why and how did you let that happen?" asked Tsume sharply.
"I was in the middle of battle and I thought I could win" replied Kiba.
"Well, you didn't you got your partner hurt and possibly crimped don't let it happen again are we understood" said Tsume eying her son.
"Yes next time I'll make sure we all make it home" said Kiba.
"As I said before Akamaru will be down for now you will be allowed to borrow a partner however you will have to wait a month because the new puppies are not born yet" said Hana.
"Thank you" said Kiba.
-Flashback over-
"Alright so no nin animals" said Kakashi.
"Anyways we'll be doing a test today you three will have a bell from each of us the person who doesn't get a bell is going back to the academy" said Shisui.
"You have till noon to get one come at us with the intent to kill because if not you won't get a bell" said Kakashi who body flickered away.
"The test start now" said Shisui following behind Kakashi.
"Kiba use your nose where did they go?" asked Sasuke.
"I got Kakashi-Sensei sense however Shisui-Sensei sense is everywhere around here" said Kiba.
Both Uchiha activated their dojutsu and break the genjutsu that was placed on Kiba. When they did they saw Kakashi standing there with two Sharingan activated in his eyes this upset the twins "Satsuki Kiba you two go after Shisui I'll take him down" said Sasuke.
"Fine however be safe come on Kiba" said Satsuki as she and Kiba went after Shisui.
"You're either dumb or overconfident doesn't matter though" said Kakashi still reading his book.
"I'm a Uchiha I don't need these two" said Sasuke arrogantly.
Kakashi just smiled at him then looked Sasuke deep within his eyes. Both of Kakashi's eyes had 3 tomoes in them a few years ago he went and took one of eyes of the dead Uchiha members during the coup that the former Uchiha clan head was a part of. Not thinking clearly Sasuke went in swinging wildly upset that his clan's eyes were being used by someone who wasn't a Uchiha. After five minutes of easily dodging punches and kicks Kakashi pinned Sasuke to the ground however before he could do anything else Sasuke substituted with a log.
Now a distance away Sasuke went through hand signs then yell out "Fire Release: Fire Ball Jutsu" a large fireball was headed at Kakashi who just smiled. Kakashi did three hand signs then said, "Wall Release: Water Dragon Jutsu". The jutsu stopped Sasuke's jutsu and slam the boy against a tree before the boy could get to his feet Kakashi was holding him down.
"Let me go I'm a Uchiha elite and give me my clan's eyes back" said Sasuke who was trying to get up but was struggling. "Being a Uchiha doesn't make you elite I've fought and kill other members of your clan WAY powerful then you" said Kakashi before knocking him out and placing him against a tree if someone tried to help him it would spring a trap. "I see you still haven't grown from your father's teachings" said Kakashi out loud but mostly to himself as he walked off to find his other genins.
-Over to Kiba and Satsuki-
"Let's stop here" said Satsuki.
"Why?' asked Kiba.
"Because we need a plan" replied Satsuki.
"Thought we were just going to take turns attacking and fighting him" said Kiba.
"No, he's a Jonin we need to attack him together" said Satsuki before Kiba had a chance to say anything she went on "Also last time I heard you're down a partner so we'll fight him together" as she said as she started walking away. However before getting far, she and Kiba heard a voice "Oh, I see I have found you" looking up they both saw Shisui standing over them.
"Shit/Damnit" said Kiba and Satsuki.
"Fire Release: Fire Phoenix Jutsu" yelled Shisui shooting three large flaming birds at the two genins.
"Earth Release: Mud Wall Jutsu" yelled Satsuki although the mud wall didn't hold up after the first flame bird hit the wall. The second and third bird follow Satsuki and Kiba making them duck and dodge the birds from hitting them.
"You know that you won't be able to get a bell like that" said Shisui as he followed them.
"Shut the hell up" said Kiba as he threw kunai at the man following after them.
"Fire Release: Fire ball jutsu" said Kakashi. Both Kiba and Satsuki ducked the jutsu that caused a small forest fire.
"Kiba we need to split up you go left and I'll go right" said Satsuki.
"Splitting up won't help you just ask you brother" said Kakashi.
"My brother has our father's and grandfather's pride which is foolish" replied Satsuki as she reactivated her dojutsu which had one Tomoe in both eyes.
"Well, I see we are getting serious" said Shisui.
"I'll take Kakashi you get Shisui" said Kiba.
"Agreed good luck" said Satsuki as she and Kiba ran at Shisui and Kakashi.
"First you got to catch me" said Shisui activating his Sharingan and disappearing.
"You're not going to get away" said Satsuki.
-Kakashi vs Kiba-
"So, I heard a rumor" said Kakashi still reading his book. (Authors' note: Yes this man has been reading this book this whole time only looking up to do a jutsu)
"I've heard a rumor as well I'll answer yours if you answer mines under the code of Inuzuka honor" replied Kiba.
This made Kakashi put his book away completely and look at the young Inuzuka member "Duly noted ask away" said Kakashi.
"I heard that your mother is a Inuzuka member is that true?" asked Kiba.
"Yes she was until she married my father as for my question what the hell made you keep fighting against Jessica Uchiha?" asked Kakashi.
"Who burns a dog?" asked Kiba however Kakashi just stared at him which made him feel awkward "I thought I could beat her" he said looking away.
"Well, it's time I taught you something first lesson is TaiJutsu" said Kakashi as he went on the attack.
Hearing this Kiba got into a fighting stance and elongated his nails although this provided no help from the onslaught of Kakashi punches and kicks. While Kiba did in fact landed hits and some deep scratches on Kakashi's torso and arms however he was no match for Kakashi in taijutsu. While getting his ass handed to him Kiba was thinking up a plan in his head to grab the bells however after taking a punch to the ribs he doubled over and in pain.
"You see here the thing is without your nin dog you Inuzuka members are weak it is the bond between you and the dog that makes you stronger so the next time you get into a fight remember that" said Kakashi as he walked off.
"Whe..Where are you going?" asked Kiba holding his stomach.
"It's only 0900 hours you still have three more hours to grab a bell however as of now you are down" said Kakashi as he turned to leave.
Before Kiba could say anything both he and Kakashi saw that the sky around them was getting darker and it started raining along lighting storms flashing then there was large boom and fire.
-Over to Satsuki vs Shisui-
After chasing Shisui for five minutes he had finally stopped in an open field in the forest area in the training ground.
"So, you finally stopped running" said Satsuki.
"Well, what do you think I was supposed to do?" asked Shisui.
"Fire Release: Fire Balls Jutsu" said Satsuki as she shot multiple fire balls at Shisui who begin using his environment to help him evade the attack.
"You keep doing that and you'll start a forest fire" said Shisui.
"Says the guy who already started one also shut up and fight me" replied Satsuki.
"I'll fix that later" said Shisui.
"Water Release: Water bubble jutsu" said Satsuki shooting half towards the sky and the other half towards Shisui.
"You think that a low level jutsu going to do something to me" said Shisui knocking the bubbles away.
"You told us to come at you with the intent to kill right?" asked Satsuki smiling.
"Yes we did" answered Shisui kind of scared however his face didn't show it.
Hearing that Satsuki proceed smile evilly it remind Shisui of her grandfather she proceeded to hold her hand to the sky and shoot a beam of lighting at the clouds "Lighting Release: Lighting storm Jutsu" yelled Satsuki. A moment later it started raining and lighting started to dance around the clouds and strike the ground violently Satsuki wanted to end this fight so she could get to her teammate.
"Fire Release: Fire Kage Dragon" said Shisui making a large fire dragon that shot at the girl.
Bringing down her hand she yelled "Lighting Release: Lighting Dragon Jutsu".
-Over to Sasuke-
Sasuke had woken from water raining down on him and once he remembered what happened he struggled to get loose from the rope that Kakashi tied him up with. Once getting free he went to find Shisui not wanting to fight Kakashi again however when he got to the area he had saw Kakashi and right behind him was badly hurt Kiba. Kakashi had some minor cuts on his arms, Shisui was on a knee panting hard, and his sister Satsuki was knocked out from charka exhaustion. Sasuke had decided to jump down and grab his sister however before he even moved Kakashi looked him dead in the eyes and smiled at him then body flickered away with Shisui.
-Time skip-
It has been a whole hour since the genins of team seven has their ass handed to them by mostly Kakashi. During this time Kiba and Sasuke had come up with a plan while Satsuki was still recovering from the use of a jutsu she had witness someone using once. On other side of things Kakashi and Shisui was having an interesting conversation with each other.
"She called it what?" asked Kakashi
"Lighting Storm Jutsu and Lighting Dragon Jutsu" replied Shisui
"Welp she's going to need to go to the hospital both of those jutsus are A-rank jutsus I wonder who she copied them from" said Kakashi in a thinking pose.
"I think we should pass them" said Shisui.
"Why should we?" said Kakashi.
"Well, this is the prefect team for us to train plus the fact that you have two sharingan brings up the question of where you got them from" stated Shisui seriously.
Thinking it over in his head Kakashi agreed "Okay let's pass them however we do D-ranks only and work on their teamwork" said Kakashi.
"Fair" replied Shisui standing up.
-One hour later-
Kakashi had taken Shisui, Satsuki, Sasuke, and Kiba to the hospital for their injuries. While in the hospital it was explained that Kakashi was the senior sensei in charge and that he had passed the team although because they didn't pass the test for the next 3 months they would be stuck doing D-rank missions.
-With Team 8-
Team eight consisting of Shikamaru Nara, TenTen, and Neji Hygua showed up at training ground 12 at eight am. Asuma had told his genins to show up to training ground 8 at 10 am and not to be late lest they end up having their team failed. All three genins showed up early however they didn't talk to each other just the standard "Good morning" or "Hey". Once 10 am came Asuma and Yugao decided to drop down into the training ground.
"Good morning team I am Asuma and this is Yugao" pointing at the lady next to him who just waved "we are the senseis of team eight" said Asuma.
"We'll be testing you today but before that let's get to know about each other a little bit" added Yugao.
A hand raised "Sensei are we going to keep switching teams?" asked TenTen.
"We can't tell you that I'm sorry" said Asuma who was cursing his father for being power hungry.
"Well with that being the case I don't believe that we should do introductions until we become an official team" said Shikamaru.
"I agree with Nara-San there no need to waste time if we're not going to be a team" commented Neji.
"So, what's our test?" asked TenTen.
"Since you don't want to tell us about yourself your test well be search and capture" said Yugao.
"Like hide and seek" said Neji.
"Yes you will have to capture me for ten seconds" said Asuma.
"Troublesome" replied Shikamaru.
"You will be given thirty minutes to come up with a plan and we will be going" said Yugao.
"Wait one question probably dumb one however it must be asked will you be fighting back?" said TenTen.
"Wasn't dumb but yes we will be" answered Asuma.
"Come on guys let's get to planning" said Shikamaru.
While the genins were planning both senseis left the area.
-30 minutes later-
The genins of Team Eight were walking towards the small forest in training ground.
While waiting for his genins Asuma was smoking and now was on his seventh cigarette however when he reached for his lighter he found that there was resisted "So how long do you think they're going to take to get here?" asked Asuma.
"I am only a genin in name I'm guessing you didn't read my file" said Shikamaru who had his shadow connected to Asuma's he then saw Yugao "If you move I'll break his leg" he said towards Yugao.
"Asuma you know you could just break his jutsu" stated Yugao however Asuma shook his head no.
"He's not playing our student here has been on a few C ranks and he has some techniques that can break someone's ankle, foot, kneecap, or leg this a technique for catching ninjas" said Asuma.
"So, you have read my file" said Shikamaru smirking.
"Fire Release: Fire ball jutsu" said Yugao shooting a fire ball towards Shikamaru which made him break his jutsu.
"Earth Release: Earth Wall" said Neji.
"A Hygua using jutsus well then I guess that clan really did change" said Asuma.
"More then you know also you in my reach 8 Trigrams 64 Palms" said Neji however before he could move he felt rooted to the ground.
"Earth Release: Mud River" said Yugao turning the ground into mud before she could stand back up five kunais with explosive tags landed in front of her.
"Cutting it close aren't ya" said Shikamaru said to his teammates.
"Hey, I was doing my part" said TenTen.
"I wasn't talking about you I was talking about her" said Shikamaru pointing at Yugao.
"We're both Jonins and I am a former Anbu member while Asuma here is a former Twelve Guardian Shinobi" said Yugao.
"You didn't have to-" said Asuma before he hit with some strikes to the chest.
"2 palms..4 palms..8 palms.16 palms..32 palms" said Neji before Asuma got away.
"Ho…How did he…get out?" asked Asuma holding his chest and arm now that his charka points were shut off.
Running towards Asuma "We need to get" said Yugao before she felt stuck to the ground.
"You made one more move and I won't hesitate to break one of your bones" said Shikamaru.
"Yugao-Sama I won't do it Nara-San here isn't playing" said Neji.
Thinking about what to do Yugao decided to take the risk and paid with it by having her ankle broken however she and Asuma got away from the area and left the group with a present.
"Damn it" said Shikamaru.
"They will not get far" said Neji.
"We need to regroup and get out this smoke" said Ten-Ten jumping away.
-Over with Asuma and Yugao-
Five minutes later Asuma had bandaged up Yugao and forced open his charka points which hurt like hell.
"Hey, are you okay Asuma?" asked Yugao coming to his side.
"Yeah just a scratch" said Asuma holding his ribs "How's your ankle?" asked Asuma.
"I'll be okay just give me a moment" said Yugao popping her ankle back into place.
"Well damn I thought we were worse with our injuries" said Asuma after he watched her pop her ankle back into place with sounded like it hurt a lot.
"It's time to take off the kid gloves" said Yugao drawing her sword.
"Summoning Jutsu" said Asuma a moment later Monkey King Emma appeared.
"Asuma what do you need?" asked Emma.
"Genin test" replied Asuma.
"They must be some strong genins" said Emma.
"One of them is a Nara" answered Yugao.
"Menma?" asked Emma.
"No Shikamaru" replied Asuma.
"Good I don't think I would be able to take on Menma just yet we don't have information on what he can and can't do" said Emma.
"We have a plan" said Asuma.
"Wait what do you mean you don't think you can take on Menma? What do you know?" questioned Yugao.
"There are rumors in the summoning world about MANY animals having their eyes on him" said Emma.
This shocked both Jonins knowing that when summoning animals have their eyes on one ninja it ends up leading to a HUGE fight and sometimes leads to ninja getting involved.
-20 minutes later-
"Keep your eyes open they could be anywhere and remember to follow the plan" said Shikamaru as he and his team was running through the forest jumping from tree to tree.
"Shikamaru watch out" said Neji pointing ahead.
Looking back "Wh-" said Shikamaru however he was tackled by a Monkey coming from his blind side. Before Neji could help Shikamaru Asuma coming from the other side and dropkicked him across the face.
"Somebody grab the girl-" said Asuma however before he finish his sentence he felt a strike to the gut from Neji. TenTen took out two swords and started cutting through the monkeys that came at her. After a few minutes Emma who was holding down throw Shikamaru and started running at Ten-Ten however before he could get far Shikamaru's shadow connected with his and dragged him down. "Got you now you stupid ape" said Shikamaru falling.
"What the-" said Emma before he fell hard to the ground while Shikamaru hurt himself falling on a tree limb.
"Emma break fr-" as Asuma was saying this he had forgotten that he was facing Neji who punched the man in the gut "Damn he's strong" thought Asuma.
"TenTen go find Yugao we got this" said Shikamaru making Emma slap himself in the face.
"Alright" said TenTen running off.
-10 minutes later with TenTen -
For the first five minutes TenTen had been looking around for Yugao after a while she had found what she thought was Yugao. TenTen had fallen for Yugao genjutsus and many(2x) trips that she had set up after getting rid of most of them she still couldn't find the woman.
"WHERE THE HELL IS THIS LADY" yelled an upset and outrage TenTen before being chopped in the neck by Yugao.
"Silence is the one of a ninjas better tools' said Yugao picking up the girl.
-Meanwhile with Shikamaru-
Over the last ten minutes Shikamaru had been using Emma limbs against himself this irritated Monkey King. After a few blows to the head the monkey was knocked unconscious when Shikamaru saw this he quickly tied Emma to a tree. Ten minutes later Emma woken up and looked at Shikamaru who looked like he was sleep he then notice he was tied up to a tree so he tried to break the cuffs. This made Shikamaru wake up seeing that Emma was struggling so he just pointed at the seal that was on his chest.
"What does Hiruzen have plan?" asked Shikamaru. However, he didn't get an answer when Emma decided to stay silent so Shikamaru was forced to do something he was taught although he hated doing it. Taking out a kunai Shikamaru proceed to cover the monkey's mouth with a thick cloth and then stabbed the monkey in the eye. Emma let out a horrible scream although he could barely be heard he was cussing the boy wishing to get out of these ninja wires so he could murder this boy. Shikamaru knew there would be blow back for this however he was treating this training exercise like a real mission and from what he learned from his father sometimes he would have to do what he needed to do to get what he needed.
"So, are you ready to tell me what I need to know?" asked Shikamaru.
"Fuck you son of a bitch" said Emma muffed. This made Shikamaru use the kunai slicing small cuts into the monkey's torso.
"Ready to talk?" questioned Shikamaru looking at the tied up prime ape.
Emma was bleeding out the mouth, his left eye had a cut above it, he had small cuts on his body, and he was bleeding from several other parts on his body however he didn't answer.
"Unless you want to lose your life or your other eye you'll tell me what I need to know" said Shikamaru holding the bloody kunai in his left hand and with his right hand he took off the cloth from the monkey's mouth.
"WHEN HIRUZEN FINDS OUT ABOUT THIS HE'LL RAIN DOWN HELL UPON YOUR CLAN FOR THIS" yelled Emma.
"Good thing he won't know" said Shikamaru has he took out a scroll and poured some charka into it a moment later two clones of appeared.
"What the hell?" asked Emma as he spit out blood.
"Code B7" said Shikamaru to the clones.
"Yes sir" said the clones as they sealed the monkey into another scroll.
"Where do we take this?" asked one clone.
"Transport to mistress snake for interrogation for leading information in case F" said Shikamaru.
"Okay we'll be off also we'll have to inform captain Menma" said the other clone seriously before both took off.
"Time to found Yugao" said Shikamaru to himself.
-Meanwhile with Neji-
Over the last 20 minutes Neji and Asuma had been slugging it out however Asuma had more experience and had knocked out the young genin. Asuma had tied the boy to a random tree in the forest with rope and limped off and went to find his other two students.
-5 minutes later with Yugao-
Yugao had a bad feeling for some reason like something was wrong like her life was in danger if only she knew how right she was.
"Fire Release: Fire ball jutsu" said Shikamaru shooting multiple small fire balls at Yugao.
"You missed Genin" said Yugao who had TenTen in her arms.
"Oh, did I?" said Shikamaru who now had his shadow connected to hers.
"Impossible you were right in front of me" said Yugao who was forced to release TenTen.
"Incorrect" said the clone.
"A solid clone?" said Yugao confused however at the moment she thought about it "He can't have that much charka left".
"Give up before I make you stab your own leg" said Shikamaru making Yugao grab one of her kunais.
"You do know this wouldn't work Asuma is close" said Yugao.
"You caught me however you are without your teammates" said Yugao struggling to break the jutsu.
"Sure, is it's two to one genin" said Asuma limping up to the two.
Shikamaru seeing he was outnumbered he made Yugao stab her own leg and then broke he jutsu and threw two kunais at Yugao and Asuma. Yugao blocked the kunai with her sword however she felt a stab in the back of her knee where an awoken TenTen had stabbed her while Asuma who was limping had to duck and roll to avoid the kunai coming towards him.
"Wait you were knocked out" said Yugao who was now on her knees.
"That's what you thought" said TenTen as she rolled away from her.
"I see the plan came along well" said Neji walking up limping up.
Both senseis looked at each other and nodded. "Good job team right meet us back here at 13:00 hours" said Asuma has he picked up Yugao and left to take her to the hospital.
"WE WIN" yelled TenTen however both of her teammates didn't share her exhilarated cheer.
"I'm going to go to take a nap" said Shikamaru walking off.
"I will see you later" said Neji walking off as well.
"Well damn I guess I'll go home as well" said TenTen a little sad.
-With Team 10-
Team Ten was told to meet their senseis at training ground ten at 0900 hours in the morning. All three genins showed up at 08:55 hours to make sure that they were on time at exactly 0900 both Kurenai and Izumi both showed up ready to test their new team.
"Good morning let's just get the boring part over introduced yourself to us and your teammates" said Izumi.
"I'll go first My name is Ino Yamanaka I like flowers, poisons, and Sasuke, my dislikes are sweating and working out, my goal is to be the next clan head and get married." Said Ino smiling.
"Guess I'm next my name is Choji Akimichi, I like training, lifting weights and eating, I dislike people trying to tell what I shouldn't eat like I don't work hard to have an awesome body, my goal for the future is to be one of the next clan heads" said Choji flexing his muscles. Choji during his time outside of the village ran into some people from the cloud village who are known for being powerful in strength, in mind and in body. Most of the body builders in the world usually came from the cloud village.
"My name is Shino Aburame my likes are training among others, my dislikes are people who hate bugs, my goal for the future is to officially create Team Shadow" said Shino.
"What is Team Shadow?" asked Ino and Choji.
"None of your business" replied Shino.
"Team Shadow is a Hunter Anbu team it Is an idea that has NEVER WORKED" said Izumi emphasizing the "never worked" part while looking at Shino.
"So, it's a combination of the two?" asked Ino.
"Yes" replied Izumi.
"Anyways my name is Kurenai Yuhi, I like my friends and showing genjutsu is useful, I dislike perverts among other things, my goal is to train you for upcoming chunin exams" said Kurenai.
"My name is the Izumi Uchiha, I like my family, I also dislike perverts, my goal is to bring back my clan the village along with one other person" said Izumi.
"You three will have a test today your test will be on gathering information and assassination someone" said Kurenai.
"We're going to kill someone?" asked Ino looking nervous.
"Why are we assassinating someone?" asked Shino.
"Let's have a heart to heart a few years ago the Uchiha and Hygua clans both attacked the village and the main branch of their clan blood was shed within the village we lost a lot of strong men and women that day" said Izumi.
"Why do you think we had you genin doing D- ranks and some C- rank missions?" asked Kurenai however no one answered "All of the genin in this village have killed expect our dear Ino here so today you'll need to do it or lose her ninja license" she added. There was a belief moment of silence in the area letting the information sink in after a few minutes she finally spoke however didn't sound too confident.
"I.i.. I can do it" said Ino although she sounded unsure.
"You sound unsure you need to be sure if you truly want to do this because the person we are sending you after is not going to be unsure about killing you" said Kurenai.
"She'll have us there and she will do the job" said Choji.
"Who's the target?" asked Shino.
"Here's the target" said Izumi handing a piece of paper to Ino. Both of her teammates looked at the piece of paper and found the target was Menma who was listed as a missing ninja of Konoha.
"Hey sensei why is Menma on this paper?" asked Shino looking at his senseis confused.
"Look genin you have been given a mission now do it" said Kurenai as she body flickered.
"Also remember she is a ninja of the leaf village she needs to be the one to kill him" said Izumi disappearing.
"Where is the target?" asked Shino looking at the paper.
"Wait you're actually going to go through with this?" asked Choji who was a little shaken up since last time he seen the boy he killed an Anbu member.
"I need to inform Menma of what's going on however the real question is why is he the target and why does Ino have to try to kill him" thought Shino.
"You have until 1600 hours to take down the target he most likely will fight back so good luck" said Kurenai before disappearing again.
"I would suggest that you three go over a plan of attack" said Izumi "Hopefully they see the underneath of the mission" she thought.
-5 minutes later-
"Read the paper again we're missing something" said Shino who was pacing back and forth.
"Target: Menma Nara
Location: Unknown
Mission goal: Elimination target and take scroll off body" said Ino.
This would be the tenth time they had read the damn paper.
Shino knew something was wrong with this although he didn't know what was truly wrong Menma was a ally of the clan however after what happened with Yoji the elders felt that Menma should relinquish his bugs. Choji and Ino was watching at Shino pace back and forth they wanted to stop him however they understood why he as doing that. Both genins thought of the small, limited memories of the boy they knew he wasn't some weak kid however they didn't know how strong he was.
"Maybe we should refuse the mission" said Ino.
"Elimination isn't always death maybe we just need to capture him" stated Shino.
"Yes I do but the real question is where is he?" Asked Choji.
"We need to find Nara members" said Shino who turned into bugs and left the area.
"What the hell was he a clone or something?" asked Ino.
"I don't believe so let's go find out about our target" replied Choji.
"I'll follow them until they find out the real test" said Kurenai appearing out of thin air.
"Understandable" said Izumi who was right next to her.
-With Shino-
Shino had walked home to the Aburame compound upon getting there he was met at the gate by two members who welcomed him home. Once getting passed the gate he walked to the Hive where every member in the clan live in.
"Hello Shino-San" said Torune.
"Hey Torune" replied Shino.
"What are you doing here aren't you supposed to be doing your genin test?" asked Torune.
"For the sake of not making me look crazy please show your physical body" said Shino. A body made of bugs appeared in front of Shino "Thank you for appearing anyways I have a difficult problem" he added.
"What is the problem?" asked Torune.
"We have a mission to take down Menma" stated Shino.
"Menma… as in Menma Hoshigaki?" asked Torune who now looked puzzled.
"Yes" said Shino handing his older brother the letter.
After looking over it Torune handed it back "I feel like Shikaku Nara can lead you to the next clue" said Torune disappearing.
-Time Skip-
Ten minutes later Shino appeared at the gate of the Nara compound.
"Hey is Shikamaru here?" asked Shino.
Both of the gate guards look at each other and silently agreed not to tell him any information.
"If you are here for any information on any member of the Nara clan in or out of the compound we can't give you any information." Said the guard on the left.
"Why not usually it's not a problem?" asked Shino.
"Usually, you're on a team with Shikamaru" replied the second guard on the right.
"Also, you're on a mission to look for our clan member we can't help you unless there is a crime being placed against him" said the first guard.
Just then the clan head Shikaku came to the gate "You are early for dinner" said Shikaku.
"Yes I am here I like to be on time I was hoping Shikamaru was here" said Shino.
"Jia take him to the small house" said Shikaku to the guard on the left.
-With Choji and Ino-
"Where the hell did he go!?" screamed Ino
"You do know screaming won't help find him" replied Choji rubbing his ears however while he walking he quickly noticed it got quiet around him and before he could do anything he was knocked out.
-20 minutes later-
All three members of Team Ten was in a room blindfolded and tied to chairs they heard voices but didn't know who they were listening to.
-Upstairs in a room-
"You do know I am in the middle of training hard to become a Kiri ninja right" said an upset Menma
"Understandable however my and Shino's father have an alliance with you and your grandmother" replied Shikamaru.
"One she's my Godmother and two the seal is for EMERGENCY PURPOSES ONLY" said Menma yelling the last part.
"Well once we bring in Shino you'll be informed" said Shikamaru.
-5 minutes later-
Shino, Ino, and Choji were all moved to different rooms Menma had made clones to clean up the house that was used more as a dojo then a house. Moon, who is a blood clone of Menma's had the clones take Choji and Ino to a private room and placed a charka seal on them making sure they didn't cause any problems. Shino had been taking to the room where Menma and Shikamaru were waiting.
"Well, what's the fucking emergency" said Menma.
"The emergency is the fact that my team here was given a mission to find and take you down" said Shino.
"Are you happy now? Because that sounds like a god damn reason for an emergency meeting" said Shikamaru looking at his cousin.
"You called because you were given a mission you couldn't complete?" asked Menma as he was rubbing his head.
"The problem is why do they think you're near the Land of Fire?" questioned Shikamaru.
Quickly it hits Menma "Moon get in her NOW "said ordered Menma. Two minutes later Moon who looked just like Menma walked in the room and Shikamaru and Shino both put the pieces together.
"Don't lie to me did you go outside?" asked Menma.
"Yes however no one saw me" replied Moon afraid.
"Dumbass you were seen and now they think I am here" replied Menma trying not to kill the blood clone.
There was a moment of silence until Shikamaru spoke "This place will need to be burned and cleaned I'm sorry to say be Moon you have to die" said Shikamaru.
"We were given two hours to find you and get information from your person" said Shino.
"He was born ready to die however he needs to change him form so he no longer looks like me" said Menma to Shikamaru he then turned to Shino "I was given a mission to kill a nuke ninja named Solo Akimichi" said Menma as he passed over a folder with the information in it.
"Solo Akimichi I've heard of that name before can't remember where though" said Shikamaru in a thinking pose.
"He is Choji's uncle and he is on the way to Otogakure with a scroll of clan secrets" said Moon.
"Yes am I'm guessing my bottom dollar the Hokage doesn't want him to make it there safely" replied Menma.
"Isn't Otogakure the land where Lady Orochimaru the Kage of?" asked Shikamaru.
"Hey um I'm sorry we can talk about this later my team only has a few hours left to find and have Ino kill "Solo" here" said Shino. Both boys in the room was confused so Shino explained further "Our sensei wants her to get her first kill" responded Shino.
"That's dumb to force someone to kill when they don't want to" replied Shikamaru.
"I second that my first kill was a wild giant boar followed by more wild animals that was forced to kill to survive in the forest while I was with my godmother" added Menma.
"Well for us to pass she need to kill him it's an order from our senseis we're not all you we can't just say "fuck it I'm going to do what I want to do" with little to no repercussions" said Shino.
Before Menma could respond Shikamaru jumped in "Troublesome guys let's not do this right now Menma we need to talk Shino the information you and your team need are in the folder good luck" said Shikamaru as he untied Shino who got up and left the room.
"So, what's the plan?" asked Shikamaru.
"Me and Moon will come up with a plan as for this house you take it it's your now" said Menma as he and Moon said walking out the room.
"Menma look man I understand you don't care for the hidden leaf; I also know about your Uzumaki family history within Konoha however you should give it a thought of coming and being a ninja of the hidden leaf" said Shikamaru.
"Shikamaru there's no reason for me to stay if the millions of dollars that was taken from an account that my father left me isn't returned I understand your father needed the money and planned on returning it to the account however Hiruzen taken more money out of that account the fire daimyo has been made aware of this so expect hard time ahead" said Menma disappearing.
"Damn he knows about the money that was stolen this isn't good" thought Shikamaru.
-30 minutes later-
Menma and Moon was now on the outside the village going over a plan on how he going to fight and die in battle.
"Okay remember the plan don't kill them and hold back however not too much" said Menma.
"Do I really need to die?" asked Moon.
"Yes you got caught you had one job which was to stay in the shadows in watch the Nara clan" said Menma.
"I'm sorry" replied Moon who now had tears coming down his cheeks.
"Stop crying you look pitiful die like a warrior not a weakly" said Menma who was disgusted by the action of his clone.
"Menma-Sama what are we have for?" said a clone.
When Menma turned around there were two clones kneeling in front of him both were wearing Shinigami masks one was red and the other was black and white kimono. "You two are here to make sure he completes his mission after he dies burn the body" said Menma.
"How do I look?" asked Moon. Moon was wearing black bandages around his arms, he had on white anbu pants and shirt however they were cut to show his biceps and quads, and his feet were bandage heavily he never liked to wear slides or boots. The man in front of them looked just like Solo with his tan skin, green eyes, bleach blonde hair, and body that looked like he was a professional body builder.
"Like a warrior friend" said the clone with the black mask on as he handed him the two hammers "Used them wisely".
"Remember stall them for at least thirty minutes now leave" said Menma after he said this Moon take off towards the area. Menma then turned towards his new blood clones "Your names will be Hades" pointing at the clone with the red mask "and Poseidon" pointing at the one with the black mask "You have two mission and I don't care who does what I need one of you to research Nara jutsus and the other one to research the Yamanaka" said Menma.
"Why the Yamanaka?" asked Hades
"They have a jutsu that deals with mental links that will help me coordinate with my clones, ninja animals, and teammates wait you're clones of me how do you not know this?" said Menma.
"Menma-Sama I believe that you are using the wrong clone jutsu from the knowledge you have gathered we are made out of Yang or Yin charka" said Poseidon.
"Well then I will look it to this later" said Menma as he body flickered away.
After Menma was gone Hades turned Poseidon "Are we really going to let Moon die?".
"Yes he failed his mission you should go watch the research the Nara clan I will handle this" replied Poseidon.
-20 minutes earlier-
Shino, Choji, and Ino was looking over the information given to them. Unlike other Akimichi members Solo was a buff man with little to no fat he was placed in the bingo book for killing kids of royal family members of other daimyos in the land of lighting and wind making him highly dangerous.
"So, we're not fighting Menma we're fighting a guy named Solo and who oddly looks like Menma?" questioned Ino.
"I remember him he's strong we need to be careful while fighting him" said Choji.
"So how did you get this file?" asked Ino.
Shino finally spoke up "I can't tell you however when I called in a favor this is who he was here for we will use this information to catch him".
"Hey hey hey what's going on here?" asked Izumi.
"We got information" said Ino trying to shift the focus over to her.
"So, you're ready for your first kill?" asked Kurenai smiling at her genin.
"y..yes sensei" said Ino nervously.
"That's what I like to hear however we're going to have to work on making you more confidence" said Izumi.
"There's no time for that right now we have a nuke ninja to kill I already have his location follow me" said Shino as he started running off.
"Welp good luck we'll be watching" said Izumi.
"Hold on wait for us" said Choji as he and Ino ran after Shino.
-15 minutes later-
"You there stop right there" said Shino as he and his two teammates landed right behind Moon who was going through his bag.
"They sent three brats after me they must think me weak" said Solo pulling out two large hammers.
"Wait that's not Menma that's-" said Choji however he was hit and sent flying with one of the hammers in his chest.
Shino had sent his bugs toward the man when Solo saw the bugs coming he did a low-level fire jutsu and burned the bugs inside his mind he was cursing Menma and was going to inform Shikamaru of this incident. Ino tried to do a mind transfer who Solo noticed this and picked up a random snake and threw it towards the girl making her take control of the snake.
"Ha three little kids playing ninja are going to take me down do you know who I am I'm Solo Akimichi one of the three strongest people on the planet come die by my hands" said Solo
Ino ended the jutsu returning to her body however her and her teammates had the same thought "Shit" while Shino was fuming "God Damnit we were supposed to fight Moon not Solo". Choji came back running and threw his hammer at Solo who just caught it.
"Do you really think you can take me on?" asked Solo looking around at the genins who surrounded him.
"Hey, stick to the plan" said Shino looking at Choji.
"Yea yeah whatever you say" replied Choji.
"Let's not fight-" started Ino however was rudely interrupted "Shut up Ino" said both her teammates who were still laying on the ground as they got up Solo went through hand signs.
"Earth release: Headhunter jutsu" said Solo as he pulled Shino down in the ground.
"Shino" said Ino however Solo popped up from the ground and uppercutted Choji in the jaw knocking him down and cut Ino in the ribs kicking her away from him.
"You fucking ass hole I'll kill you Human Boulder" yelled Choji rolling towards Solo at a fast pace.
"Earth release: Multiple Mud wall jutsu" said Solo creating mud walls in-between him and Choji however Choji stopped rolling and enlarged his arms blowing though the walls towards Solo.
-over with Moon-
Moon, Hades and Poseidon were waiting on Shino, Choji and Ino to show up but after a while they noticed that there was a fight going on elsewhere. They quickly ran over there and saw that the genins had run into the real Solo who was beating down the genins. Hades went to go find Menma while the other two just sat and watched the genins. (Author's Notes: Why don't they help them? Cuz Fuck em that why)
-Back to Solo whooping their asses-
As Choji was Solo was slugging it out with hand-to-hand combat Ino had helped Shino out of the ground "I don't believe we can beat him like this" said Shino.
"So, what do you think we should do?" asked Ino.
"Cover us while we fight him up close" said Shino.
"Do you really think you'll be able to beat him up close?" asked Ino however before Shino could answer Choji was tossed towards both of them making Choji slam hard into a tree. When both genins looked at Choji they saw that he was bleeding from the head and mouth, his clothes were torn up, and he was knocked out.
"Aww it looks like I hurt you friend and oh what is this I see you two look like you want to kill me or something" said Solo. As he said that both ran towards the man with kunais in their hands. "Yes come get knocked out like your teammate over there" the man added.
-10 minutes later-
For the last 10 minutes Shino and Ino had been trying to take down the beast they called Solo. Solo had beaten down Shino and burned most of his bugs making him useless while at the same time he had broken Ino's left leg with one of his hammers they both had to retreat so that they didn't die. The Senseis of this team had watched this happened and wanted to go kill the man themselves however Izumi and Kurenai were told not to help them kill Menma. Menma and his clones were watching this fight happen wondering why their sensei didn't do anything after a while they saw Shikamaru come into the area who joined them.
"What the hell is going on what happened to the plan?" asked Shikamaru.
"Well somehow they ran into Solo and before you ask the reason why we haven't helped is because their senseis are over there and this would turn into an all-out battle" replied Menma.
"Well, I'm going to go help them" said Shikamaru as he jumped down from the trees.
-Down at the battlefield-
"Time for-" before he could finish that sentence a person landed in front of Solo stopping his movement.
Both senseis dropped from the trees "What do you think you're doing genin?" said Kurenai.
"Protecting my friends good thing I did come were where you two?" said Shikamaru who was struggling to hold the man.
"This is a test that you are intruding upon" said Izumi.
"You had three genin go after a B-rank nuke ninja look around you these three would have died if I didn't do something" said Shikamaru.
"It's only Menma we had it under control" replied Izumi.
"I am Solo Akimichi" said the man as he breaks Shikamaru's jutsu and throws his hammers at the two senseis both dodge them however they follow the females and attack them making them duck and dodge.
"Damn it" said Shikamaru as Solo charged at him however Menma jumped in front of his cousin and cut off the man's head then sealed him up and left. When Kurenai and Izumi saw Menma kill Solo they started to run towards him however he disappeared.
"We must-" said Kurenai before she passed out.
"I am sorry friend however I have a perfect record and this one mistake won't fuck it up" said Izumi sealing her team with a scroll to take them to the hospital.
"Someone set you to fail" said Shikamaru.
"We do not ever speak of what happened here to anyone" said Izumi.
"And if I do?" questioned Shikamaru this made Izumi step closer to him however before she could do anything Hades and Poseidon jumped down to defend the boy.
"Get out of here and keep this a secret" said Izumi disappearing.
"Troublesome" replied Shikamaru before leaving.
-With Team Nine-
Team Nine test took place at eleven because Sakura Haruno still wasn't over the death of her parents. After a while of waiting on the girl a anbu member had come to the training ground and let it be known that Sakura Haruno was in the hospital because she was depressed and tried to end her life. Gai and Hinoko tested both genins with multiple tests and they passed each one not with flying colors they struggled big time since most of these tests were for three people not two.
-18:00 hours-
Inside the Hokage's office all the senseis of the team were there ready to give their reports of how their test did during their test.
"Team one failed" said the Jonin of team one.
"Team two passed" said the Jonin of team two.
"Team three failed" said the Jonin of team three.
"Team four failed" said the Jonin of team four.
"Team five passed" said the Jonin of team five.
"Team six passed" said the Jonin of team six.
"Well, it seems that the mix up caused some good things to happen now on to our clan kids" said Hiruzen.
"Team seven passed barely" said Kakashi.
"Explain now" said Hiruzen.
"They did good however they definitely have never worked together and they are going to need more than five months to be ready for the next chunin exams "stated Kakashi.
"Your team will be given the next five months off from missions we need them ready and why are your genins in the hospital?" asked the Hokage.
"I beat the shit out of them" said Kakashi smiling.
At this everyone slapped their forehead and thought "This guy".
"Well, we'll come back to that moving on to team eight" said Hiruzen.
"Team eight passed also we need to talk later" said Asuma as was shaking to lighting his cigarette.
"Is everything okay Asuma?" asked Izumi.
"No no it is not" said Asuma.
"What happened?" asked Kurenai.
"They beat us however what we need to talk about is private information" said Asuma giving Hiruzen a look.
"On to Team nine how did they do?" asked the Hokage.
"Team Nine passed they need work just like any other team also I something I would like to discuss with you as well" said Izumi.
"Alright on to Team ten I know you're down a member however how was the test?" asked the Hokage.
"Team ten passed" said Gai.
"We have five months until the next chunin exams we got to get them into shape" said Shisui.
"Actually, the Chunin exams are happing in six months" said the Hokage. This shocked everyone in the room and many started side conversations the Hokage fared his chakra to get the attention back on his self. "Right now, since there are no alliances between the five grand nations so we are planning to the exams happen in the Land of Iron" said The Hokage.
"Neutral ground" said Hinoko.
"Correct" replied the Hokage.
"If someone wasn't power hungry we wouldn't be going through this" said Kakashi still looking in his book.
"Excuse you" said the Hokage.
Kakashi closed his book and looked at the Hokage "You heard what I said don't act old now when Shikaku was running the village things weren't perfect however the shit that's been slowly happening wasn't happening when he oversaw the village. As far as Menma problem goes just give him all the stuff his parents left him so that this no longer looms over our heads" said Kakashi. As he was saying this most people in the room was agreeing with him and when Hiruzen went to respond nothing came out. (Author's Note: it was true what they said about the truth it definitely does hurt.)
"You may all leave besides my son and Izumi you two stay" said Hiruzen.
After everyone left the room Asuma had informed Izumi that the discussion he needed to have with his father was private so he was going to step out.
"Hokage-sama the person you sent my team after was an actually B-Rank nuke nin" said Izumi.
"Our reports.." said the Hokage however Izumi shut him down quickly.
"I am expecting B-rank pay for my team" said Izumi before leaving.
When Hiruzen looked down he saw the head of Solo and knocked it off his desk. His son then walked into the room after Izumi was gone.
"Emma was kidnapped" said Asuma bluntly.
"EXCUSE YOU!" Yelled Hiruzen
"I expect that Shikamaru isn't a genin because he definitely doesn't fight like one" said Asuma.
"What happened and where is Yugao?" asked the Hokage.
"He stabbed her in the back of the knee Yugao in the hospital right now I am going back there as well these genins are something else" said Asuma.
"Why do you say that" asked Hiruzen.
"Because I've never seen so many Jonin senseis in or near the hospital" said Asuma.
"You want to explain the whole EMMA problem?" questioned Hiruzen.
"He hasn't been seen and one the summonings said they seen Shikamaru and what looked to be "Menma" capturing him" said Asuma with air quotes.
"Anbu let every Ninja hunter know that Monkey King Emma has been captured and that there is a 25-million-dollar reward for finding him" said Hiruzen.
