Me and Pyra had just made out of the woods and onto the back of the titan when we finally saw civilization.
"Look, theres a town!" I said
I really hating hunting for food, as cool as it was, it was really tiring and it could sometimes take hours to find the Bunnits.
As we walked into town, the first main thing we noticed was the wanted posters on the wall, there was the diver guy, labelled Rex, I guess that's his name. There was also a shredded up poster, and there was me.
"Great, we are wanted now, yay" I deadpanned.
As we continued throguh town we noticed some soldiers trying to recruit people to become drivers. I watched as the guy who tried to use the crystal literally exploded.
"Well thats gruesome" I said, slightly nervous, then I noticed Rex sneaking around behind them, and stole one of the crystals from right under their noses.
I inwardly sighed, glad he didn't see me and have another temper tantrum.
We kept to ourselves while exploring the city, using some money that was stored in my phones bank app, we managed to buy some stuff.
I got myself some new clothes that made more sense for a driver, after all, a t-shirt and jeans wasn't exactly battle gear.
We then spent the rest of the day outside the city battling against my fearsome enemy, lack of fighting skills.
After returning to the city and spending the night in an inn, we are exiting the city when we are ambushed by a group of three guards.
"You there, I've never seen you before, whats your driver registration number?"
I couldn't exactly tell them I didn't have one, but I didn't so I made something up
"Umm, 24711?" I was really hoping that was at least the correct number of numbers
"Do you think i'm some kind of idiot?" He asked, so I responded in the snarkiest way possible
"Yes"
The other guy spoke up "We have to arrest him remember, all drivers must register with Indol or be imprisoned. Your coming with us."
I pulled out my sword, daring them to try and get me.
Each of them pulled out their batons and attempted to surround us, so I tried out my newest attack
I stabbed the sword into the ground and release a bright flash of flames, blinding them.
After a little bit of time fighting the grunts and their leader, a wall of blue fire surrounds the area.
A blade walks through the fire, the grunts gasp "Lady Brighid!"
She waves them off and faces us directly "So your the ones stirring up all this trouble."
"Pretty sure we weren't the ones who started it. Where's your driver, or are you here alone."
"The second option i'm afraid."
"Lady Brighid is the strongest blade in the empire, even alone she is more than a match for the likes of you!"
"We'll see about that" I retorted, attempting not to let my slight fear show.
She focused on Pyra "Is that... Men, you are to capture them at all costs."
Two of them left to go get something, leaving only the captain and Brighid to face us
Brighid drew her double swords and the battle begun again
I immediately charged at the captain and raised my sword, forcing him to block, but what he didn't expect was for it to be a feint, as with my other hand I pulled out my phone and absorbed his baton into it, effectively taking him out of the equation.
Then I turned to Brighid, the real threat
She struck forward with a sword and it transitions into a fiery whip, and lashed me across the face.
I hissed in pain before entering a deadly dance of blades, despite the incredible speed at which we were fighting I still found it fairly easy to keep up with.
Everything almost felt like it was in slow motion, block, strike, left, back up, fire slash.
I threw the sword over to Pyra who jumped into the the air and back down with a resounding clang of metal on metal.
Before we could celebrate our victory she launched a vicous fire blast that I was forced to return with my own, despite that it cut right through and left a large burn mark on my chest.
Then, out of the smoke came a glowing net that latched on to me and I felt my energy drain away.
"Lets see you get out of this one!" said the voice of the guard.
"Lets see you do anything now that your wrapped up in an ether net!"
He then started laughing like an idiot, but I couldn't introduce his face to my sword just yet.
"Just you wait" I muttered darkly, behind my back, I pulled out a small knife I had bought earlier and began cutting the net.
He kept monloguing and monologuing while he dragged me and Pyra onto a cart.
Come on, come on, I thought, then a heard a snap, and I burst out of the net and swiftly cut Pyra's bonds as well.
"What!" said the guard, right before I knocked him out and threw him off the cart.
Brighid turned, but I was faster, I slashed right through her, dispelling her back to her driver.
"Come on, lets get out of here" I said to Pyra
She nodded and we ran out of the city back to our little camp in the woods.
Just as we were starting to calm down, I hear the sound of a crunch and then a familiar face walks into the light.
Rex, with a cold rage in his eyes, and a spear in his hand, had come to fight.
You know someone wants you dead when they entirely switch up their weapon to try and kill you.

Absorb: Uses the phone to steal the opponents weapon (Massively decreases damage, if the weapon is a blade's weapon it is only temporary)
Ankle Breaker: Swings sword low to the ground to trip opponents (Topple)
Returning Blade: Throws sword like a javelin before it returns back to his hand (Increased Damage to low hp enemies)
Disorder Ignition: Stabs sword into the ground to cause an energy wave that blinds and damages nearby opponents (AoE Break, Lowers Aggro)
