Chapter count: 1/1

Yozora continues walking to his apartment after leaving work. Well technically the apartment is his, his name is on the lease, but Magia and Aegis keep spending more time at his apartment than at their apartments. People are noticing and wondering about the three of them. Again, not what Yozora wanted when he agreed to be with them. He barely got enough privacy as is, keep his personal life out of it. And as long as he could both walk and do his work, no one seemed to care (at least about him. Magia was a different story. Seriously, what happened was not his fault. Magia is irresistible with those eyes looking at him like that. Both of them would bend over backwards to get Magia whatever he asked for. Not like he asked for much though. Said he had everything he wanted with both of them.)

"Commander?" A young feminine voice breaks him out of his thoughts.

"Yes, what is it?" He turns to face the speaker. Not anyone of note then. He was going to be late before this interruption. They weren't going to be happy.

"Have you seen Magia and Aegis? They were supposed to be in a meeting by 15 minutes ago and the General is worried..." She trails off nervously. Why would they bother him? What Magia and Aegis do is no one's concern but his. Ah, that's probably why they are bothering him. They had a meeting though? He told them to stop skipping work. Especially, if they want to be all together. Probably, Magia's fault again, like always. Aegis used to be too much of a stickler for rules to skip out of work earlier. Like he is much better. Magia's influence spreads far and wide.

"No. Did you check the training room?" He asks though he knows where they are. He hasn't seen them though so it wasn't a lie. At least a direct lie. He needs to run to the apartment so she can't find him again. Needs to see them.

"No. Thank you, Commander." She replies.

He briefly wonders if she would have thanked him if she found out he was lying. No matter. He has things to do and people waiting for him. He defiantly needs to talk to Magia and Aegis, probably Magia. All his fault.

He then walks into their apartment. Messy, disorganized, and home for all of them.

And he sees his two favorite people in the living room. (He said living room, more like a couch but still.) As always, they look good together. Magia's brightness contrasts nicely with Aegis's color scheme. (He swears he told Aegis to wear more colors. That was never followed. Like normal. Seriously, those two never listen to him. He tries but they just don't listen. Even Magia said he was more colorful than Aegis, in between insisting they were both gorgeous in their own way. Aegis blushed so very prettily and insisted he was fine with what he normally wore. Magia wanted to show him what would look better. That led to Magia not being able to walk the next day. Not like he and Aegis were much better, but at least they could go to work with minimal difficulty.)

"Ah, someone's back early. Thought you were going to work for a little longer, Commander." Magia ends teasing.

"Magia," he complains because they have had this discussion before but like everything else he tells Magia, he doesn't seem to notice they have talked about this, "I told you not to call me that when we are home."

"Did you? I can't remember...Wonder why?" Magia replies teasing and with a faraway look in his eyes.

"You know why." He replies deadpan. He truly loves Magia but sometimes he can't believe him.

"Awww. Don't give me that. You know I love you. Both of you." Magia said suddenly while looking at him and glancing to Aegis who seems to have fallen asleep.

"Oh, he's asleep. Wondered when that was going to happen?"

"What do you mean?" As far as he knew, Aegis was fine.

"He looked dead on his feet when he walked in. May have forced him to lay down." Magia adds sheepishly.

"Magia..."

"What? Without me, you two would work until you collapsed. I'm doing both of you a favor." Yozora twitches hearing this but knows that he is right.

"See? You know I help." Magia replies smugly.

"Must be the only reason we keep you around." He replies sarcastically.

"Is that the only reason?" Magia pouts, honestly pouts.

"Maybe." He replies teasingly.

"Your being cruel today, Yozora."

"Perhaps." He leaned into Magia and they very softly kissed.

"Now, what is that for?" Magia asks while softly rubbing his tongue over his lips.

"Do I need a reason?" He asks rhetorically before kissing Magia passionately and pushing him into his back.

"You don't want to wake up Aegis?"

"Not preferably. If he was that tired, then he needs to rest."

"Then we need to be quieter." Magia said as he captured his lips in a passionate kiss.

"Of course," he purrs, "But can you do that?"

"Do you think I would lose to you?"

A chuckle, "You always lose."

"Not intentionally. But getting tag-teamed by two gorgeous people would make anyone lose."

"I'll take that as a compliment then." He smirked.

"Arrogant jerk." Magia complained.

"Maybe, but you love me."

"Somehow. Your nicer than most people believe."

"I'm sorry?" Yozora asks confused.

"Don't be. It isn't your fault that they can't see the true you."

"I'll take that like it means something."

"You emotionally stunted idiot. So smart and yet can't pick up emotional cues."

"I'm not the person who forgot how to use a microwave this morning." Yozora smirks.

"Why you!" Magia complains and then tries to flip him over.

"...Am I missing something here? Magia, why does it look like you are trying to choke Yozora?" Aegis mutters sleepily and confused.

"This isn't what you think it is." Magia tries to play off coolly.

"It is what you think it is." Yozora replies calmly as if they weren't just caught.

"Ok, ok. That makes sense. Just one question. What happened to make Magia that angry?" Aegis asks while rubbing his eyes with his finger, "I thought it was clear I was trying to sleep. So what happened to peace and quiet?"

"I reminded him of the microwave incident from this morning."

"Ah. Please don't do that again." Aegis says resigned, because he knows them and it will happen again but let's ignore that.

"I'll try." He isn't stupid enough to promise since he knows he won't keep it.

"Well, it's something at least." Aegis concedes. Then a phone goes off.

"Who's phone is that? That ringtone is garbage by the way." Magia asks while judging his ringtone.

"It's mine and for your concern Magia, the ringtone is not garbage." He picks up the phone. "We are being deployed again against the Gigas."

"Again?! We just got back two days ago!" Magia complains.

"Well, the war is getting worse." Aegis tries to reason.

"Doesn't make going two days after we got back any better."

"Just get ready to go." He says to break up their argument although he does agree with Magia. They all head to their room and grab their weapons; a sword for Aegis, 2 rapiers for Magia, and a crossbow and a sword for him.

"Best not to keep them waiting." Aegis says and they leave their apartment once more empty.
