Deep in the Boiling Isles, the Emperor's Castle was brimming with activity as members of The emperor's coven were high on alert, as almost every inch of the castle was covered with guards at the ready.
Lilith Coawthorne, Eda's older sister in the head of the emperor's coven was also high on alert. Lilith have been trying to convince her sister for years to join a coven but each time her sister confused, and now the emperor was starting to lose his confidence in her and Lilith knew she needed to bring in her sister.
"Worried Lilith?"asked Kikimora, a confidant who answers directly to the emperor.
"It's just not been easy Kikimora, what with all the strange characters causing trouble all around the Titan."said Lilith, as violent attacks against the citizens of the Boiling Isles have been on the rise.
First there was that strange large bug demon with the metallic wings. Some small man screaming "Kyaaa" on highways before he ended up beating up people and taking everything they had. Stange shadow like people wearing animal masks from the human world, doing nightly raids on the covens. Add to the fact that's some giant humanoid has been spotted all around the Titan attacking people with its extremely powerful physical strength and it's safe to say that Lilith has been busy.
"I think you actually enjoy that these strange characters are coming out of the woodwork."said Kikimora, confusing Lilith that she wondered what she meant by that.
"What are you getting at?"asked Lilith, who never liked Kikimora as it's been obvious that she has been after Lily's spot as the emperor's right hand for years.
"Think about it, you keep cleaning up the mess that these criminals leave behind and the emperor is pleased, so pleased that he's been ignoring your constant failures of acquiring your sister Edalynn Clawthorne, the Owl Lady."responded Kikimora, who knew that Lilith was using these criminals as an excuse to not go after her sister, and her constant failures and inquiring the Owl Lady.
"I don't know where you got that idea Kikimora, the rest assured."said Lilith as a bunch of foot soldiers of the emperors coven appeared behind her.
"Rest assured Kiki, this time we will be different. Today we capture Eda, once and for all!"said Lilith, as the day of unity was approaching, meaning the emperor would no longer accept any excuses of Eda not being in his coven's custody.
Unknown to them, a small man who is covered almost had to toe in a green custom safe for his arms was overhearing everything before he descended onto a nearby rock formation next to the castle, as he had infiltrated moments earlier hoping to steal anything valuable to help him survive his current predicament.
"This well definitely come in handy until I can figure out a way to get back to Earth."said Judomaster, as he disappeared into the nearby woods.

Meanwhile at Batman's makeshift base camp, he was busy reviewing all the files of the known criminals that were now in this world, or at the very least the ones Firefly told him we're here, as he suspected there were others but Firefly escaped before he had a chance to properly interrogate him.
"Firefly said some of the most dangerous criminals I've ever faced are now here, and that someone united them under the promise of great rewards if they headed to Gravesfield."said Batman, to himself as he reviewed the files of the criminals he knew were in the boiling Isles.
"Jervis Tetch, aka the Mad Hatter. Former neurologist who went mad over his obsession with Alice from Alice in Wonderland. Specializes in hypnosis and mind control as a study into the human psyche allows him to take control of their minds with his special high-tech Mad Hatter hat."said Batman as he crossed his name.
"Dr Jonathan Crane, aka the Scarecrow. Was a researcher at the Gotham institute of science before he was ostracized for his extreme experiments on his volunteer groups. Specializes and a toxin known as fear gas, a special neurotoxin that makes anyone who's exposed to it see their worst fear.."said Batman is he crossed him out and went to the next villain.
"Judomaster, real name unknown as many have taken the moniker and this is the most recent one. Skilled martial artist who specializes as the name suggests, judo. His size should not be considered a hindrance so how dangerous is he is, as he is a skilled martial artist of the highest grade with agility, speed, endurance, strength, and precision of some of the greatest martial artists from our world."said Batman as he crossed Judomaster out and went on to the next group of individuals.
"Bane, one of the most dangerous threats I've ever faced in my career. Is a master strikers who was born and what could be described as a hellhole of a prison in Santa Prisca, forced to serve out the sentence of his father by the cruel government of the time. Bane is a master tactician and strategies of the highest level, but the real threat is when he injects himself with the drug known as venom. Venom enhances his strength, durability, an endurance way more then the average human is capable of putting out. Bane is ruthless and won't hesitate to use innocent lives for his goals.'said Batman, who knew that pain was more dangerous than the individuals above him.
"Fox, Vulture, and Shark, also known as Warren Lawford, Armand Lydecker, and Gunther Hardwick respectively. Meet when I was studying under master Wong Fei in China during my journey to become Batman. All three of them came from extremely wealthy families, and all three of them eventually ended up joining the infamous Shadow Clan, a mystical clan of assassins that can only exist at night, and will disappear as soon as the sun rises. Fox eventually rose up into a leadership role in the clan while the other two became his close personal bodyguards. Shark is the biggest and specializes in physical strength, using a spiked mace his main weapon. Vulture specializes around speed that he applies to swordsmanship, using two chinese war swords as his main weapon. Fox is the most dangerous as not only see the most skilled of the three but he uses any weapon that is convenient for him, but prefers using darts lace with poison. Fox is to be considered a main target as I suspect he knows who is financially backing them."said Batman, as Fox would be the only one among the criminals that are out there in the Boiling Isles to know who is really behind this.
"Joker, real name unknown and considered to be the most dangerous among this list. His specialties are absolute, unlimited cruelty and total disregard for any life. Won't hesitate to end life, and has been known to snuff out the lives of his henchmen just because he felt like it. His most dangerous weapon is his Joker venom, a neurotoxin that will place anyone who doesn't have an antidote and a permanent smile and state of near unconsciousness, while constantly letting out noises that could be described as laughter. He is to be considered top priority should I encounter him."said Batman, as Joker wasn't the smartest or strongest of this group that is currently in the Boiling Isles, but he was the most dangerous as he was the most unpredictable and cruel criminal he has ever known as there seem to be no end to his cruelty and total disregard for life.
As soon as he was finished analyzing, Batman heard one of the trip alarms he set up in the forest go off and immediately went to see what was going on. He arrived at his perch just in time to see multiple members of the emperor's coven being taken down by Hooty, including a woman who looked a lot like Eda.
'That is Lilith Clawthorne, head of the Emperor's coven and the right hand of the emperor of the Boiling Isles, Emperor Belos.' thought Batman, who knew this as he had done his research over the past following days about the current system of government on the Boiling Isles.
He knew that the government was controlled by Belos, and that he enforced his role through a coven system, with the leaders of the main covens answering directly to him and him only!
There where many top covens, but currently there were ten covens that stood at the top.
The first was the Emperor's coven, the group that answer to the emperor himself that was currently being led by Lilith. They specialized in many different kinds of magic in order to make them effective units to enforce the emperor's rule.
The Abomination coven specialized in making golem like creatures made out of a purple like goo. Batman saw them dangerous in both defense and offense.
The Bard coven as the name suggests specializes in using violins to use song based magic. Batman considered this coven a threat as Bard magic was versatile and can be used in different ways, making them top priority in Batman's list.
The Beast Keeping coven specialized in taming the wild beasts that roamed the Boiling Isles. Batman saw the danger in this magic as there were many dangerous creatures that lived on this land, and he heard rumors that the spellcasters can actually take on beasts like forms with enough training.
The Construction coven specialized in building most of the buildings on the Boiling Isles. Batman's all their magic as dangerous as they could reconstruct and deconstruct matter at will, seeing construction magic as especially dangerous.
The Healing coven was the ones in charge of treating the injured citizens of the Boiling Isles. Batman knew not to underestimate this coven as healing could take all matter of forms, and many weren't pleasant forms of healing..
The Illusion coven specialized in making illusions. Batman knew how dangerous this coming could be as he has experienced illusions first hand and new how dangerous they could be in real world settings.
The Oracle coven focused on fortune telling and mind-based magic. Batman considered this coven also among the dangerous list as Oracle magic can also summon spiritual like creatures for combat, and allow the witches to communicate with one another using only their minds. Batman knew well from the history of his world just how crucial communication is in any war effort.
The Plant coven are witches that specializes in controlling the growth and movements of plants. Batman knew how dangerous this coven could be thanks to his many encounters with the villain known as Poison Ivy. He knew how versatile combat base plans could be and from what he saw the plant life here on the Boiling Isles, Poison Ivy would definitely want to join this coven and possibly take it over!
Finally their was the Potions coven, the coven that specializes in making potions that range from ones for offense like explosive potions, to potions that help keep curses at bay. Batman didn't know much about this coven as potions weren't his specialty, but he knew better then to underestimate them.
'All the current leaders of the nine covens answer to Emperor Belos himself and have shown extreme loyalty, at least most of them from what I saw of the announcements.' thought Batman as the some the emperor's coven getting annihilated by Hooty, forcing them to retreat.
"I need to remember there are many dangerous elements here, not just the ones that came with me. I better learn everything I can about this Emperor Belos, as I have a feeling he's a wild card that I must take up most precaution if I ever end up facing him in the future." said Batman to himself as he went back to his base camp.
He headed to the batmobile where he pulled out an invention he has been working on for a while, nth metal gauntlets. Ever since he discovered that this realm specialized in magic, he knew that he needed to be prepared.
Fortunately he had a brick of nth metal in the glove compartment of the batmobile that was given to him by Hawkwoman, and for the last several days he has been melting it down and molding it into gauntlets for him to use in combat against the witches of the Boiling Isles.
Unfortunately this is easier said than done as Nth metal is one of the strongest known medals of his universe and extremely hard to mold. So he had the bat computer do most of the leg work as fortunately he did have the equipment necessary to mold Nth metal in the batmobile, and only recently have the molds been finished.
"Now to put the finishing touches."said Batman is he pulled out wires, a mini heating torch, tweezers, and a microscope and began to go to work.
Batman carefully started putting the wires around the Nth metal gauntlets, making sure that the copper wires were properly connected to one another and that they were in the right place through the microscope as adding technology to anti magic metal was a difficult task that took long hours and a lot of mental concentration.
From what he saw, Luz was going on a field trip today so he thought he could take it easy at least for a few hours while he finished up his latest tool to combat the forces of Boiling Isles. Time went by but Batman failed to notice any of this as he continued his meticulous work by connecting the touch screen of his previous continent to his new gauntlet and ensuring that it worked. Finally hours later after running a few tests the Nth metal gauntlets were complete!
"I need to be careful as magic is not my specialty, but fortunately I have face it before and I have the tools necessary in order to face it again."said Batman easy place to gauntlets parts onto his hands and wrists.
Suddenly he noticed his daughter's friends Gus and Willow bring brought to the Owl House buy a white Palisman, and Luz was not with them as they were being dragged by the staff by force to the Owl House.
"What is going on!"asked Batman as he made his way over the his post to see what was going on.
There he saw Willow and Gus knock on the door of the Owl House, with Eda answering a few seconds later, and what he heard next made his blood boil!
Luz tried to steal something from the emperor's Castle to help Eda with her curse, and she ended up getting captured by Lilith!
Batman saw Eda immediately call out Owlbert and quickly flew off to the emperor's Castle.
Batman meanwhile quickly headed back to his base camp and removed his cape as he placed on his jetpack wings and immediately flew after her, as Luz was his top priority at that moment and he had to make sure that she was okay!
Meanwhile at the emperor's Castle, Lilith was standing at the front gate waiting for her sister to show up, as she knew there was no way her sister would abandon her student, who she has grown to care for the last several weeks Luz has been at the Boiling Isles.
"Sister, I see you accepted my invitation for a witch's duel."said Lilith as soon as Eda showed up, but eat immediately started attacking.
Lilith spun her finger in a circle to activate her magic to create a shield to protect herself from the magic blast her sister was delivering at her! The shield ended up breaking from the first impact as Lilith had to step out of the way before getting struck Eda curling her whole body towards her!
"Easy now."said Lilith as Eda stop attacking to hear her sister out.
"Where's Luz."asked Eda, not in the mood for any of her sister's antics.
"The human is safe."said Lilith, as she brought out Luz in a magic bubble that was imprisoning her.
"Eda..."said Luz, worried about it as Lilith wanted her to show up, that was the whole reason she captured Luz in the first place!
Now Eda was directly at the front door of the emperor's coven, meaning she was on Lilith's playfield!
"You can have her back, if you do what I say. Renounce your wild ways, enjoying the Emperor's coven. He can help heal your curse."said Lilith, as Belos promised her that with his magic he could heal Eda from her curse, vanquishing the Owl beast!
"Don't believe everything that bonehead tells you. He doesn't want to heal me, he wants to control me."said Eda as there was no reason to trust Belos, after all the whole control of Wild Magic and all that hearing the Titan's voice nonsense was just an excuse for him to take control of the Boiling Isles.
He was nothing more than your tyrannical dictator who took power through lies, charisma, power, and deception!
"Then I will take you in by force."said Lilith as she prepared her palisman for battle.
"You've always look down on me because I'm wild, but fortunately that just made me work harder than you!"said Eda, as she casted a surge of magical energy that took the shape of an hour as she charged towards her sister!
Lilith was not back into the air before Eda appeared behind her and tried to strike her, but Lilith got out of the way in the nick of time. Eda and Lilith proceeded to fly through the air trying to strike each other with their staffs with every ounce of magic they could muster!
Lilith fired a blast of magical energy at Luz, knowing that Eda would try to save her. Eda managed to push luz in the negative time and formed a barrier to keep Luz from falling into the spikes below as Lilith tried to sneak attack her sister, with Eda only barely getting away in the nick of time!
Eda proceeded to conjure up several Hooty like familiars to tie up Lilith and fired another blast at her, but Lilith decided to play dirty by using Luz as a shield, forcing Eda to stop her attack midway!
"Stop hiding behind Luz, you coward!"said Eda through her panting, as she was clearly running out of energy.
"Ha... it's sad to see you slowing down, sister. Tell me, is it the curse?!"asked Lilith as Eda's and it started growing darker and darker.
"Eda, your gem..!"said Luz as she began banging on the magical bubble in prison in her, as she knew the more either used her magic, the more quickly the curse would take her over!
"Maybe it is the curse, but how pathetic are you, that you can't best me at my worst!"said Eda as she created a giant magical circle!
That magic circle became multiple magic circles as they fired blasts of magic at Lilith, while the Hooty like familiars moved Luz out of the way so that she wouldn't get hurt! Lilith on the other hand created a barrier to protect herself as Luz tried to figure out a way to get out of the magical bubble to help out Eda, before noticing a pointy decoration next to the gate.
"Maybe you're stronger than me, but that made me work smarter, I became sharp, crafty!"said Lilith, who always hated the fact that her little sister always seemed to be better than her!
"A lap dog for a tyrant."said Eda, as Lilith was nothing more than an enforcer for Belos's rule over the Isles!
"You always thought you were better than me, that I couldn't beat you at anything."said Lilith as Luz managed to shatter the magical bubble imprisoning her!
"I am better than you!"
"Then why were you so easy to curse!"yelled Lilith, before she realized her mistaken covered her, but it was too late.
Eda just looked shocked at that confession before recalling a long suppressed flashback where she remembered seeing Lilith come to her room that night that she was cursed, realizing that her own sister was the one who cursed her with the owl beast in the first place!
"And I have the power to remove it, if you would just let me explain."said Lilith as she wanted her sister to hear her out, but Eda didn't want to hear her as she charged towards her sister with rage!
Lilith was struck with such force that the nearby wall that she hit shattered as Luz got in between the Clawthorne sisters!
"Eda, stop! Your magic!"said Luz, as Eda was running out of magic.
"Human, that orb was for your protection."said Lilith that she cast Luz to the spikes below!
"Luz!"exclaimed Eda as she kept the spell to stop Luz from being impaled by the spikes.
"Eda, stop! You'll run out of magic!"said Luz, as Eda was using the last ounces of her magic to Luz.
"It's my power kid, and before you came along I spend my whole life wasting it."said Eda as Lilith activated her magic to force Luz down, with Eda having to use more magic to stop that from happening!
"Eda, no, no, no!"said Luz, noticing the gem growing darker and darker.
"Okay kid, listen. I'm going away, and I'm not sure I can bounce back this time. Remember to feed King, watch over Hooty."said Eda as her eyes started to grow dark, and Luz... thank you for being in my life."said Eda as Lilith heard something that sounded like... something flying at a high speed!
"Get away from her!"said Batman as he flew at Lilith, and before she knew what was going on she was punched with a left hook so hard that she was sent flying towards the floor of the castle gate!
"Get her out of here!"said Eda as Batman quickly flew and grabbed Luz just as Eda was running out of magic.
A blast of magic came out of her body as Owlbert flew towards them with Batman grabbing the staff as they flew away from the castle.
"Batman, no! We have to save Eda!"said Luz, but her please fell on her father's deaf ears as he continued flying away from the castle.
"We will, but first we need to come up with a plan."said Batman, as they needed to regroup before they planned out their next move!
"Thank you..."said Eda as she fell to the floor, before she let out a screen as she completely began transforming into the Owl beast!
Eda, now in full Owl beast form tried to go on a rampage but she was quickly tied up by Lilith's magic, as Lilith stood up from the floor with a bruise on her cheek.
"He almost broke my jaw... come along sister, it's time to let the healing begin."said Lilith as she moved either inside the emperor's Castle as a figure covered head to toe in golden armor looked on through his horned mask.
This was the current most powerful magic user of the Boiling Isles, Emperor Belos!
"So... that cursed bloodline still lives."said Belos, as he had witnessed the whole thing transpire from the sidelines.
Luz and Batman meanwhile regrouped at the Owl House.
Luz quickly headed inside as Batman went after her.
She looked around and saw that Eda had prepared a cake and what look like a small party for her.
"Hey Luz, who's your friend?"asked Hooty, who completely forgot that he was supposed to keep Batman away from the house.
King meanwhile popped out of the cake
"The cake is me...hey,um... where's Eda?"asked King, noticing that their mutual friend wasn't with them.
Luz just began to tear up as Batman kneeled down and hugged her. Luz fell to her knees and started sobbing into his chest, holding him tightly for comfort as King and Hooty approached her with concern.
