"How did this happen!"asked King, that's currently he and Batman were being hunted down by the Ninja in the forest near the Owl House!

"Kyodai Ken was hired by the same mysterious benefactor like the others and only recently showed himself. Hooty was just minding his own business until Ken tricked them into drinking some tea saying that it would make him happy, and the tube demon ended up drinking it without a second thought."said Batman, as Hooty was still out like a light back at the Owl House.

"Well what do we do?"asked King, as Batman pulled him to the side just in time to avoid getting struck by a bunch of shurikens!

"wahhh!"exclaimed King, realizing he was extremely close to getting pierced by those shurikens!

"Be careful! Ken has laced this whole forest with booby traps!"said Batman, as this forest was definitely lined up all over at random places with booby traps!

"How did he manage to do this without anyone noticing?"asked King, wondering how the Ninja managed to put up all these traps without anyone being none the wiser.

"He isn't a ninja for no reason."said Batman blankly, knowing well that Ken could easily have gone past his perimeter as he has before in the past.

That is one of the reasons why he is so dangerous!

"You cannot escape me, Batman! I will slay you and that ugly dog thing even if it's the last thing I do!"said the Ninja from somewhere in the forest.

"Ugly?! Oh this guy is going down!"said King, as no one calls him ugly and gets away with it.

"So what's the plan!"said King as Batman pulled him up just to avoid getting hit by a log that was tied to a set of strings!

"I think it's safer if you ride on my shoulder."said Batman, as King nodded his head as he thought that was a good idea since he didn't want to be flattened or stabbed, or worse!

"Look out!"said King as Batman jumped over a tiger trap full of punji sticks!

"Man, this guy must have spend days, even weeks setting up all these traps."said King, feeling that all of this must have taken quite some time to build.

"That is why we need to keep moving! As I have a feeling that the ninja is personally hunting us down from the trees!"said Batman as he avoided a makeshift spikeball made out of mud and metal poles that were sharpened!

"Okay, seriously what is it with you humans and traps."said King, as Batman avoided getting struck by a pair of short swords that were launched at them by a catapult!

"It's a thing."said Batman as he threw several explosive batarangs to intercept the boulder those coming towards them at high speed!

The batarangs lodged into the boulder and a few seconds later, they exploded in shattered the boulder into teeny tiny little pieces!

"Okay, this is just getting ridiculous."said King, feeling like this whole thing is getting ridiculous.

"Agreed!"said Batman as he decided to take the fight into the trees!

As soon as he got into the trees he knows that it was also full of booby traps as soon as he was fired upon by a ray of arrows! Batman used expert gymnastics skills to avoid getting struck as he somersaulted through the branches of the trees to avoid getting struck by arrow after arrow!

Batman kept coming through the tree is as the Ninja came out of nowhere and tried to slash him with a katana! Batman intercepted with his bladed gauntlets as King held on for dear life as Batman and the Ninja began jumping from tree to tree, trying to attack one another with their respective attacks!

"This won't end like it did last time, Batman!"said the Ninja, not willing to lose the Batman a second time!

"This is madness, Ken! Why would you agree to come to this world in the first place?!"asked Batman as he threw several batarangs.

"Easy."said the ninja is he sliced through the batarangs with his katana"The opportunity of a lifetime!"

"This doesn't make sense! Your all about getting paid Ken, I know you!"said Batman as he fired his grappling hook.

"Yes! He offered me a lot of money to partake in this job!"said the Ninja as he tried to stab Batman, only for Batman to swing away with his grappling hook!

"Who's pulling the strings! I'm sure you must know who is paying you as you don't work for anyone without knowing who they are!"said Batman, as the Ninja always knew who his client was for security reasons in case he was ever betrayed!

"Not this time! I was hired by Fox as a proxy as whoever my client is is making damn sure that no one besides Fox knows his identity!"said the Ninja as he tossed several kunai towards Batman and King!

"Do something!"said King as Batman threw several batarangs to intercept the kunai in mid-air!

"Ha! Soon darkness will overtake this land and the darkness is a ninja's best friend!"said the Ninja as he threw an explosive bomb at Batman, with the fuse lit!

"Look out!"said King as Batman launched himself into the sky with his railgun feature, forcing him back to the batmobile with the help of magnetic pulleys attached to the back of his suit!

"Woah!"said King as he felt like his eyes were about to pop out of his skull!

""Now!"said Batman as he fired a remote control batarang that struck Ken in the face!

"Ahh!"exclaimed Ken as Batman deactivated the rail feature and charge towards the Ninja at full speed with his line launcher attaching itself to two rocks!

"Ahh! What?!"said the ninja as Batman hit him with the edge of his boot at full force, knocking the Ninja way and force him to let go of his sword!

The ninja quickly recovered and he and Batman quickly engaged in hand-to-hand combat! Both combatants tried to strike one another while intercepting the others strikes at the same time! King decided to help by putting himself in front of the Ninja and blinding him by holding on to his face! The Ninja quickly threw King off of him, but that gave Batman the moment he needed to strike the Ninja in the stomach with a powerful fa jin punch!

This knocked the wind out of the Ninja as he was knocked back!

Batman tried to go after him but several members of the Shadow Clan quickly grabbed the ninja and took him away by throwing smoke bombs to cover their tracks!

"Yeah! We won!"said King, knowing that his part helped Batman defeat the Ninja!

"Yeah, but I have a feeling they'll be back."said Batman, knowing how persistent the Ninja is when it came to taking his revenge on Batman.

"Hey guys. What did I miss?"asked Hooty, who had that inconvenient moment had woken up from the sleeping tea's affect.

Batman and King just ignored him as they went to set off whatever traps can had left so that neither Luz nor Eda could be hurt by them as who knows how many traps the Ninja set up in his plan to kill Batman and King!

Short chapter but I hope you like it. Will probably skip a few episodes of season 2 and diverged from Canon in order to keep the story interesting!
