All across the Boiling Isles, the forces that directly worked under Owlman were attacking every major city in the Titan. Bonesborough was no exception as the citizens were running for their lives as abominations and Shadow Clan Ninja attacked every establishment they could think of in order to bring down the current system of government on the Boiling Isles!
"I don't understand dad, it's like you know this man!"said Luz, wondering how her father knew his evil doppelganger.
"I faced him a long time ago on earth three! Luz, he is like me in every way except for the fact that he is completely ruthless and will not hesitate to snuff out any life in front of him if it means achieving his goals."said Batman, knowing that Owlman was one of the most dangerous adversaries he has ever faced because he was exactly like him except for the fact that he was ruthless, almost as ruthless as the Joker and that's saying something!
"So, what's the plan?"asked Amity, wondering what exactly they should do to stop Owlman and his forces from taking over the Titan!
"For now I need to head off to the Emperor's Castle as I know that's where owlman is! Luz, go with Eda and gather any resistance you can as this attacks not going to stop until every villain who Owlman hired is taken down! Amity, go to your parents and see if there is any way to take down the abominations!"said that man is he called though that way he had been repairing for weeks and was going to get in before his daughter stopped him.
"I'm going with you."said Luz, as Batman was going to say something before she pressed her finger on his lips.
"Look I know this owlman is dangerous, and you don't want me to get hurt! But the Boiling Isles is where my friends live and last thing I want is some dangerous supervillain taking it over and using it for who knows what! So like it or not I'm going with you and that's final!"said Luz, as Batman could tell she inherited her mother's stubbornness.
"Fine, but you stay close to me and don't wander off as we don't know what Owlman is planning."said Batman, knowing that Owlman wouldn't hesitate to hurt Luz just to get to him!
Without another word spoken, Luz gave a kiss to Amity as she assured her girlfriend that she would be okay before getting into the bat wing with her father and heading off to the Emperor's Castle!
"What do we do now?"asked Ed, wondering exactly what they were going to do now.
"For now we need to find Mom and Dad and find out what the heck is going on."said Amity, knowing that her girlfriend was counting on her to take down the abominations!
Eda meanwhile was trying to hold down the fort at the owl house as Judomaster was leading a bunch of abominations and shadowclan Ninja towards the house! Hooty was doing his best to hold down and protect the owl house but even he was getting overwhelmed by the sheer number of foot soldiers that were trying to take him down!
"Eda, I don't know how much longer we can keep this up!"said King, wondering what exactly they were going to do as no matter how many times he let out his powerful scream attack, more soldiers seem to take their place.
"Get the baby Titan!"yelled Judomaster, as Eda noticed that he was pointing at King.
"I'm... a Titan!"said King with shock before a bunch of magic started to strike down the abominations and Shadow Clan Ninja!
"What?!"asked Judomaster before he was electrocuted by a rain cloud made by Bard magic!
"Raine!"said Eda, noticing her former lover was the one who took down Judomaster as it was revealed that he was accompanied by Darius, head of the Abomination Coven, and Eberwolf, head of the Beast Coven.
"I no I've been acting weird these last few weeks and I'm sorry. But I needed to keep you safe from the emperor and whatever this Owlman was planning."said Raine, as the remaining Shadow Clan ninjas took Judomaster with them as they retreated.
"What in the name of the Titan is going on?!"asked Eda, wondering what was happening to the Boiling Isles.
"Long story short. Emperor Belos is evil, was planning to destroy us all on the day of unity. But this Owlman betrayed him and now he's trying to take over the Boiling Isles for some nefarious purpose that we don't still know the details of."said Darius, as he basically summed up what they knew.
"But why did they want King?"asked Eda, still shocked that King was a baby Titan.
"Owlman... he wants Kings blood for something."said Raine, as King looked at his arm and began to shiver as he hated needles.
"Well no one's going to hurt my son without a fight!"said Eda, as Scarecrow and Mad Hatter appeared with dozens of Shadow Clan Ninja!
"Oh, what do you know these pesky locals are messing with my tea time."said the Mad Hatter, as he was accompanied by a bunch of hypnotized citizens.
"Yes, I think it's time to show them what happens when you mess with Owlman."said scarecrow as it was revealed he was followed by a bunch of Grom like creatures.
"What?!"asked Darius has he noticed the creatures that seem to be a combination of Grom and abomitons.
"Like them! These are my pets that I have been working on ever since I go to sample of Grom."said Scarecrow as the Grom like creatures begin to take the forms of their worst fears!
"Destroy those Grom like creatures but don't hurt the citizens as they are just hypnotized!"ordered Raine, as a bunch of citizens began activating their magic.
"Go cor that stupid hat. Luz and her father told me that's how he controls his victims!"said Eda, as the Mad Hatter was offended that someone called his beautiful hat stupid.
"Get her!"ordered the Mad Hatter as Eda and the coven heads began to attack them!
Meanwhile Amity had reached Blight Industries with her siblings, along with Gus and Willow, both of whom were accompanied by Hunter, better known as the Golden Guard!
"What was your uncle thinking but by trusting someone like that?!"asked Gus, wondering what Belos was thinking by teaming up with Owlman and his crew of villains.
"I don't know but he trusts him and Fox, now that trust has turned against him."said Hunter, not sure what to do after discovering what he really was something called a Grimm Walker.
"We can focus on who this shift the blame on later! For now we need to talk to my mom and dad and figure out how to stop those abamitons!"said Amity, as eliminating half of Owlman's army was more important than who to blame for this whole predicament!
"Amity! Edric! Emira! I'm so glad you're safe!"said Alador, happy to see his children alive and well as he ran over to hug them.
"Dad! We need to destroy your creations before they help destroy the Titan!"said Amity, as a sad look appeared on her father's face.
"I'm afraid your mother already knew about this and told me about an hour ago what Owlman was planning."said Alador, never understanding how greedy and selfish his wife was until the very moment he found out that she was willing to have a bunch of citizens heard in the name of money and power!
"Where's Mom?!"asked Amity, wondering where her horrible mother was.
"I'm afraid her greed blinded her into listening to the promises of a madman."said Alador, as he motion for everyone to follow him as they entered Blight Industries with hesitation.
There they saw Odalia Blight sitting on a chair in the middle of the room and she appeared to be in a catatonic state as she was twitching every so often but her mind appeared to be elsewhere. Edric, Emira, and Amity covered their gaping mouths with shock as they couldn't believe what had happened to their mother as she appeared to be a vegetable for former self!
"Owlman had Scarecrow and Mad Hatter expose her to a bunch of fear gas and hypnosis to put her into that state! Owlman apparently ordered them to do that as they didn't want her going back on her word as in his own words, she was never to be trusted that she cared about no one but herself. Even if she was the most selfish person I ever knew even she didn't deserve this."said Alador, knowing that his horrible wife was now trapped in inside her own mind.
Amity never had a great relationship with her mother but even she felt bad for Odalia as even a horrible person didn't deserve this kind of punishment...
Meanwhile Luz and Batman arrived at the Emperor's castle and saw that it was practically in ruins with dozens of members of The Emperor's Coven lying all around the building... and they were not moving...
Luz felt tears fall down her face as her father motions for her not to look as it was better for her not to be traumatized by this as they got down from the bat wing and headed into the castle! There they saw that it was an intense battle as the castle look like it had been destroyed by a massive storm as the bodies of Belos and Owlman's forces laid around everywhere!
"This is horrible..."said Luz, trying her best not to look at the bodies lying on the floor as she knew it would traumatize her for life.
"He's not here..."said Batman, as it appeared that no one was around as they entered the Emperor's chamber.
"So you finally arrived."said Belos, who look like he was heavily injured based on the amount of damage that was on his clothing and body.
"Your Kingdom and subjects are suffering and yet you don't seem to care."said Luz, noticing that Belos, who wasn't wearing his mask was just sipping on some tea...
"I never really cared about anyone here on the Boiling Isles. I only came to this place to destroy it and Owlman is saving me the trouble by doing it himself. Why should I bother trying to stop him after the damage he did to me as it's better to sit back and let him do what he wants as he would surely make Nathaniel Wayne proud."said Belos, as he took another sip of his tea.
"Why don't you tell us why you care so much about our family, Philip."said Batman, as Luz gasps with shark upon finding out that Philip and Belos were the same person.
"Because the one who assigned me my mission here on the Boiling Isles was none other than your ancestor Nathaniel Wayne, the most famous witch hunter!"said Philip with a smile on his face.
"A witch hunter... all this time these people have been following are witch hunter!"said Luz, and she couldn't believe that the people of the Titan were following this man for so long, and that her ancestor was the one who put him up to it in the first place!
"Surprised, Luz. And to think that all these monsters suffering is because of the hands of your family as Nathaniel Wayne is the one who brought me up through the Witch Hunter association and taught me everything I needed to know in order to trick these idiots into following me. I was planning to destroy them all in the day of unity but apparently your counterpart is doing a fine job himself."said Philip as he took another sip of his tea.
"I don't understand. If you wanted to destroy the people here for so long why are you letting someone else do it instead."said Luz, feeling like she was ready to punch Philip for all the suffering he has caused!
"Because Luz, Thomas Wayne Jr is fulfilling the mission Nathaniel Wayne intrusted me with all those centuries ago! How does it feel knowing that your family has played a part in the ultimate destruction of the Boiling Isles."said Philip, as Luz began to break down and cry as her father tried to comfort her.
"Ah, that darkness that pushes Wayne's to do the impossible is flowing the right through you, both of you. I was hoping you would finish your great ancestors work but it seems Owlman is going to do that for all of us for the sake of humanity."said Philip as Batman was getting ready to punch him but knew he had other priorities.
"Where's Owlman!"shouted Batman!
"He's at the head getting ready for his final plans. He told me to tell you that he doesn't care if you show up as nothing you're going to do is going to stop him from destroying this a cursed land and everyone in it."said Philip as he took a bite of some crumpets.
Batman just graded his teeth as he picked up his daughter and left as soon as he could, deciding that Philip wasn't even worth his time and that the people of the Boiling Isles will have justice as soon as he stops Owlman.
Meanwhile at the head of the Titan, Owlman was having an interesting conversation with some kind of being who look like he was half sun and half moon.
"It's nice to meet you after all this time, Collector."said Owlman, knowing that the all-powerful being was a vital part in his ultimate plan!
