The group stared at Marielle.

"You were the Murderer?" Ludwig raised his eyebrows.

"Well... yes. But it's not like I wanted to!" she stuttered.

"Oh?"

The group turned around and saw three people walking towards them. Feliks (from Round 1), Abel (from round 3) and Kaelin (from section 2).

"What are you guys doing here?" Abel asked, looking at them in surprise.

None of them answered the question.

"What are you doing here?" Roderich pointed at Abel. "I thought you got voted out! You... You died!"

"That's what I thought too." Feliks shrugged. "But I think it's because we were the Clowns... After we got voted off, there was just this corridor."

"I personally think it's because of our roles." Kaelin said. "As Clowns, our mission is to be voted off. So I think that's why we didn't... die. Not like..." he fell silent and looked away.

Neeraja sat there in silence as they all got uncomfortable. He really didn't want to think about it at all, but his thoughts immediately went off to think of the final round...

Neeraja walked through the corridor with the Good Team and entered a new room.

"Oh?"

As they entered, another group had also entered from different hallway.

"Who are you guys?!" Agapito cried out, staring at them.

The people stared at them.

"We could ask you the same thing."

"We... just came from doing some... Murder game." Natalya said.

"Same."

They all stared at each other.

"So... what Team were you on?" Muhammad asked.

"The Evil Team."

At once the team huddled together.

"H- Hey, we're not bad guys now, though-" the Spaniard stuttered.

"Yeah, right." Kaelin snapped. "You- You killed-"

"Only two of us."

Like that helped.

"Well anyway, you should introduce yourselves." Alfred said.

"Oh, okay... Well, I'm Marielle. That's Vlad, Roderich, Tolys and Antonio." she pointed to each person in turn. "And you guys?"

"I'm Natalya. This is Agapito, Muhammad, Eduard, Abdul, Alfred and Neeraja."

"Hey, there's more people!" Vlad cried out, looking at the final hallway.

Two more men walked into the new lobby. The corridors behind the three of them shut closed.

"What the-" Tolys gasped, staring behind him.

"Oh, I think I know what's happen-" Roderich cut himself off as letters fell from the ceiling. Frowning, he picked one up. "You should probably take one each... if my suspicion is correct..."

No one moved.

"What is your suspicion?" Matthew asked.

He sighed. "We have to participate in another round."

Neeraja walked into an empty room and opened his envelope. He threw aside the introductory note (he already knew all the roles and what the aim was) and looked what he had gotten.

'You are... DETECTIVE!
You are the LEADER of the GOOD TEAM! Try to figure out everyone's roles and protect the GOOD team. Try everything you can to take down the murderer and other evil players!'

Well.

That's fun, he supposed.

Apart from the fact that it was terrifying that he could just die, but he was going to pretend he couldn't.

He wouldn't.

Neeraja blinked as the walls lighted up, saying;

Clues: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

He frowned. He mindlessly tapped [4] because chronical order is for losers. The number four opened and there was a note.

He picked it out and read it.

'At least one of these players are Good: Roderich, Agapito'

He placed the note in his journal and thought about the clue as the door whizzed open.

And someone was probably dead.

He walked out and into the lobby, where everyone else was standing.

"So. Alfred's dead." Kaelin stated, as he walked in last, looking around the room.

And he was right.

Instantly, Ludwig pointed his finger at the New Zealander. "How could you say that with such certainty? You just entered!"

"Because... I looked around the room and noticed he was gone?"

"Yeah, but that quickly?"

Ludwig and Kaelin glared at each other.

"So you want to accuse me? Is that what you're saying?"

"Yeah, maybe I am!" the German snapped.

"Guys, stop fighting." Matthew frowned, staring at the two.

"He started it!" they yelled accusingly.

Natalya cleared her throat, making everyone look at her. "I'm on Ludwig's side personally-"

"Why?" Tolys asked in surprise, raising his eyebrows.

"Because he has a point. It would've taken the rest of us to look around and actually figure out who's missing. If Kaelin had taken two more seconds before he stated the fact, it'll have been less fishy."

Matthew nodded. "All in favour of voting Kaelin off?"

One by one, the group raised their hands.

"Kaelin has received the most votes. He will now be voted off."

And with a flicker of the lights, he was gone.

"We should check his room." Matthew stated, and everyone followed him to the room with a blue door frame.

Neeraja bent down and picked up the journal, skimming it before he groaned.

"What is it?" Agapito asked immediately, looking over his shoulder.

"He's the Clown."

The group fell silent.

"Great. Just great." Tolys rubbed his temples. "Why did you even accuse him, Ludwig? This is all your fault."

"What? I thought it was a valid reason to suspect him!" he spat. "I'm sorry he manipulated us!"

"Guys, honestly stop." Vlad winced, attempting prevent another argument. "What's been done, is done. We can't do anything about it now."

They glared at each other, but nodded.

"Thank you."

Back in his room, Neeraja hurried and tapped Clue number [2]. It said; 'At least one of these players are Evil:-' 'Finally, a usual clue', he thought- 'Eduard, Agapito, Natalya'.

He noticed that Agapito was on both of the clues. What could that mean? But before he could really ponder it, the doors whizzed open and he walked out.

"Matthew's snuffed it." Antonio informed Neeraja, bumping into him.

"What? Matthew?" he asked, shocked.

"Yeah. Let's go."

They hurried along to his room, passing another one on the way.

"Wait." Neeraja stopped dead in his tracks. "That..." He pointed to the door-frame. "That's new." The door-frame was now red, indicating that the person inside had died from the Murderer. "Whose room is that?"

"How would I know?" Antonio shrugged, but they both went inside to check.

The Spaniard opened the journal and quickly read over it. Neeraja could've sworn he saw his fingers tighten around the book but before he could confirm it, Antonio had passed the book onto him.

'Dark Psychic -
Marielle is Good'

"Did the... Murderer kill off their own team mate?"

"By the looks of it." Antonio tapped his foot. "We better go to the others."

They hurried along and walked over to Matthew's room which was coloured orange.

"What took you guys so long?" Abdul questioned when they arrived.

"We were in Eduard's room. He died, you see." Antonio explained.

"He what?" Marielle blinked.

"The Murderer killed him. We passed his room as we were coming here." Neeraja elaborated.

"Oh. Did his journal say anything?" Muhammad asked.

"Yeah, he was the Dark Psychic."

"Wait... aren't they on the same si-"

"Look, it doesn't matter. Did Matthew's journal say anything?" Antonio interrupted.

"He was the Witch." Vlad told them.

"May I accuse someone?" Natalya interjected.

"I guess, isn't what this whole thing is about?" Neeraja heard Roderich mutter under his breath.

"I'm accusing Tolys of being on the Evil Team."

"What?! Why!" he cried out. "What did I even do-"

"Nothing."

"Then-"

"It's just that I have proof. I'm the Spy." she said. "He visited Eduard."

"WHAT! I did not!" he yelled and Neeraja noticed that Antonio raised his eyebrows in surprise.

"I mean... you are yelling. Shouting always makes you look more suspicious." Agapito shrugged.

Tolys took a deep breath. "Look. I promise that it isn't me-"

"Promises don't mean anything here." Ludwig cut in.

"Tolys received the most votes. He will now be removed."

The group headed round to the Lithuanian's room and Vlad opened his journal. "Good calling Natalya. He was the Scout."

Neeraja wrinkled his eyebrows at this statement. Didn't Natalya just say that Tolys was the Murderer? Why was he the Scout?

He didn't think about it too much but instead walked back in his room. He casually hit clue number [5] and waited for the clue to arrive.

Except.

Air vents in the ceiling opened and purple smoke filled the room. He coughed, feeling light-headed and soon it hurt to breathe.

What was happening? Was he dying?

He didn't even remember falling.

"Neeraja?"

He forced his eyes open and he saw Muhammad's worried face staring back at him.

"What... What happened?" he asked, his mouth feeling clammy.

"You kind of... just died."

"Died? Are you dead too?"

"Oh no. I'm the Saviour. I brought you back." he explained. "I'll catch you up on what happened while you were-" He moved his finger across his neck.

"Abdul- he's the Spy- he bugged you. And we found out that Antonio killed you." he said while they headed to the lobby.

"Wait, excuse me? Can you... backtrack for me? I thought Natalya said she was the Spy?"

"She must've been lying. That's what it seemed like to me."

"Is she bad then?"

"I don't know. You could ask her." They had entered the lobby where the others were waiting.

Neeraja did a quick head-count. "Where's Vlad?"

"Oh yeah. The Assassin got him." Roderich said.

"But anyway, moving on. It must be Natalya. You lied about your role and also threw your teammate under the bus." Marielle shrugged.

"I understand how you got to that conclusion, but you're wrong." she countered back. "The thing is, I lied about my role because I knew if I said a role that people thought was unimportant, they wouldn't have tried to kill me. If I had said I was the Psychic, I would be dead."

"Can you prove that?" Abdul asked, glaring at the female.

"Yes I can." she took a breath. "Ludwig is Good, Tolys is Evil, Abdul is Good... and Agapito is Evil."

"WHAT?!"

The group looked astonished at the Filipino.

"No, it can't be." Abdul said automatically.

"That's what I want to believe." Natalya sighed.

"No, it could totally be him." Ludwig shook his head.

"How so? He's our friend!" Muhammad cried out.

"Do you think that matters?! Bonding is bound to create problems! I made that mistake and I'm not willing to do it again!" he yelled, silencing the group.

"What... sort of mistake?" Marielle whispered.

"I don't want to talk about it." he responded harshly, and no one dared to push him about the topic.

"But... let's say it's not Agapito. What then?" Neeraja asked.

"Easy. We vote off Natalya." he replied.

"Agapito had the most votes. He will now be removed."

They ventured round to his room, Natalya now being supported by Neeraja.

"What does his journal say?" Abdul asked Roderich, as he leaned over to pick it up.

"It confirmed that Natalya was correct. Agapito was indeed on the Evil Team. He was the Assassin."

"So... that's everyone on the Evil Team." Ludwig counted off his fingers. "Does that mean we win?"

As if to answer his question, a hole opened in the lobby.

"Please not another one..." Marielle groaned.

But they walked through it anyway.

And entered outside.

"Oh, are we... free to go?" Neeraja stuttered.

"I think so..." Natalya replied from his back.

And they walked away and they never looked back.

If there is anything I need to explain, please comment

AU idea - Based on the Roblox game called 'Flicker'

However, the story is still different from the game in a few senses
(For example, the entire 'room' system doesn't exist in the game)

The colours on the door-frames
You may or may not have picked it up but-
Blue - voted off
Red - murdered
Black - assassinated
Orange - killed by clown
(I never stated it, but if you're still alive it's white)

Voted off
I imagine (but you can imagine differently) when you get voted off, you kind of just fall through a hole in the ground (lame, I know). There is purple gas (the thing that kills you) there, so you die. Voted off and being killed is pretty much the same thing, except it has more stress of trying to convince everyone that you shouldn't be voted off.

Detectives
The detective gets a set of clues each round. The format is usually like; 'At least one of these players are Good/Evil: *insert two to three people*'. However, sometimes they may get a clue that says; 'You did not receive a clue'. That means they didn't get a clue and therefore is useless. Unless the Witch blocked them, their powers should work perfectly fine.

Spies and Scouts
The spy and the scout bugs players each round and finds out who visits them. In reality, you would be extremely lucky to catch the Murderer through this method. For example; you may bug someone and see that multiple people had visited them. It is up to the spy and the scout to decode what each visit could mean. If the person you had bugged died, then one of those people who had visited him was the Murderer. Unless the Witch blocked them, their powers should work perfectly fine.

Twins
Whatever happens to one happens to the other. For example, the Muffin man gives one of them a muffin, then the other would get it. If one of them dies, then the other would too.

Good Psychic and Dark Psychic
If the psychics read someone, it means that they can reveal which team they're on, but not necessarily their role. For example; you may read someone and it's says they're Evil. That means they're on the Evil Team, but they might not be the Murderer.
Good Psychics want to get rid of the Evil Team, but Dark Psychics want to trick everyone that the Evil people are actually good. Unless the Witch blocked them, their powers should work perfectly fine.

Survivor
Literally, just survive. There's nothing to really to do.

Muffin man
The job of the Muffin man is to give muffins to people to make them feel better and stuff. They can give it to anyone but themselves. Unless the Witch blocked them, their powers should work perfectly fine.

Medic
The medic's aim is to attempt to figure out who the Murderer or the Assassin will kill and heal the person. It is like giving them an 'extra' life. Unless the Witch blocked them, their powers should work perfectly fine.

Saviour
The saviour can bring only one person back to life. Unless the Witch blocked them, their powers should work perfectly fine.

Murderer + Assassin
The Murderer and the Assassin want to kill and get rid of the Good Team. The Murderer can kill anyone each round, but the Assassin can only kill once, though their kill is lethal. The Witch can not block their powers.

Witch
The Witch's powers are to block another's powers. They can block everyone's powers but the Murderer and the Assassin.

Clowns
In order to win, the Clowns must be voted off. Because the Clowns mission is to get voted off, they are the only ones who survive after getting voted off.
