Hello all Storm here with a new chapter! Here we'll be seeing some of Naruto's and May's time in Mauville City, though nothing too exciting but does help set up some things. So, without further ado.

Two days have passed since Naruto's and May's unexpected arrival in Mauville City, with both Trainers having spent the last couple of days familiarizing themselves with the indoor city and training their Pokémon. With the whiskered blonde having also spent time bonding more with Ralts as well as working on Zorua's aggression and malice.
Now though, Naruto and Zorua were both standing outside of the Mauville City Gym, having learned that the Gym Leader Wattson specialized in Electric-type Pokémon. With Naruto contemplating on whether or not he could try challenging Wattson now or wait until he caught more Pokémon. Which would not only give him more options to use against the Gym Leader, but also give him more time to work on Zorua.
"What do you think Zorua? Should we try challenging Wattson or wait a little longer?" Naruto asked, looking at his Starter, wondering what the Spiteful Fox Pokémon thought.
"Zor. Zorua-Zorua-Zor-Zorua-rua-Zor." Zorua gave his equivalent of a shrug in response to his Trainer.
Personally feeling that they were ready to challenge a Gym Leader, along with Zorua wanting to prove himself against a stronger opponent. But given what happened with Dusknoir and Gardevoir after catching Ralts, Zorua didn't want to risk getting his Trainer in trouble. Something that'd likely happen if he ended up brutally hurting a Gym Leader's Pokémon.
With the Normal/Ghost-type Pokémon deciding to just leave it to Naruto to decide on what they'll do, figuring his Trainer knew what'd be best.
While Naruto sighed at Zorua's response before turning back to the Gym, thinking on whether or not they should try challenging it.
'It might be best if we did wait to try challenging Wattson. Especially since, from I've heard, he is supposed to be pretty strong. So even if he's limited to weaker Pokémon, there's a good chance that we wouldn't stand much of a chance against him, just yet. That's not counting if Zorua loses control and really hurts his Pokémon, or ends up trapping them in illusions, which would be really bad.' Thought Naruto, knowing it'd be safer to wait until he and Zorua had more time to train together and work on the latter's malice.
Only for the Uzumaki to then get an idea on how they might be able to do that.
'Wattson is a Gym Leader, I'm sure he's seen a lot of different kinds of Pokémon, including ones that are pretty aggressive and don't hold back from seriously hurting opponents. Maybe he'd be able to give us some advice on Zorua's malice and helping him be more open to other Pokémon.' Naruto thought, knowing if they might not be able to challenge Wattson, they could still talk to him for advice.
"Come on Zorua, maybe we can't battle Wattson, but we can still see if he could help us." Said Naruto as he headed into the Mauville Gym.
"Zor!" Zorua nodded before entering Naruto's shadow as the whiskered Trainer entered the Gym.
Though the moment Naruto went to open the door, his eyes widened in shock and worry when the door suddenly fell off and hit ground.
"Uh…oops." Naruto said, not expecting the door to just fall off like that, before looking inside the Gym to see a long hallway.
"Hello! Um…I'm sorry about the door, I didn't mean to break it! I was hoping to talk to Watt-woah!" Said Naruto as he entered the Gym, only to be startled when metal rails popped up on either side of the fallen door, which soon began moving across the floor.
"What the…this is a…track?" Naruto said in confusion as he took a closer look at the floor, seeing that the door was moving along a set path, like a cart on tracks.
'Well…Wattson is also apparently known as an inventor and helped design Mauville City when it was turned into an indoor city. I guess it'd make sense that he'd design the Gym to have some tricks in it.' Thought Naruto while holding onto the railing when the door/cart began picking up speed, hoping there wasn't anything too crazy inside the Gym.
*With May*
Meanwhile, May had gone out to get some shopping done, with Torchic walking alongside her Trainer as they went to different shops. Getting supplies as well as a few things that had gotten May's attention, the brunette being especially excited to check the different clothing stores.
Though as they went through the different shops, May couldn't help but think on what exactly she should do on hers and Naruto's Pokémon Journey.
'I don't even know what I want to do. At first I only agreed to get a Starter and go on a Journey so I could see new places, try new foods, and check out all the different clothes I could get. But after that battle with Naruto and Zorua, I can see why Trainers battle since it can be really fun, working alongside their Pokémon to win. Training together and seeing all the hard work pay off, and growing closer to strengthen their bonds.' May thought while smiling down at Torchic, happy at how close they've gotten since choosing the Chick Pokémon as her Starter, only to sigh.
'But I don't know if that's all I want to do, battling other Trainers and challenging Gym Leaders to enter the Pokémon League. While it could be fun, I want to be sure if it's what I want to do.' Thought May, not wanting to start on a goal only to end up changing her mind and do something else.
"Hey Torchic. What do you think we should do on our Journey? Do you think we should try entering the Pokémon League, like Naruto? Just keep traveling to see new places, while battling Trainers along the way? Or see if there's something we'd want to do? Or do you have any ideas for what we could do?" May asked, looking at her Starter, making Torchic look up at her Trainer.
"Torchic? Torchic-chic-Torchic-Torchic-Tor-Tor-chic-Torchic! Tor-Torchic-chic-Tor!" Torchic ran around May for a few moments before stopping in front of her and jumped up and down, before the Fire-type simply nodded at her Trainer.
With May being unable to help but sweatdrop at the sight, not really sure what Torchic was trying to say or tell her.
"Yeah…okay, I probably should've expected that." May muttered, only able to guess that Torchic didn't really have an answer either, and the fact that she also couldn't understand Torchic at all.
Though May's attention soon turned towards a growing crowd that was looking at several monitors mounted on a wall.
'What's going on over there?' May thought, curious about what had gotten a crowd gathered like that.
Going over to the crowd, the brunette moved through the people to see what was being shown, making sure she wasn't blocking anyone's view as she did so. Only for May to be surprised when she saw an event was being broadcast of what looked like Pokémon performing on stage.
'Is this some kind of talent show…for Pokémon?' Wondered May, before watching in amazement as several different Trainers and Pokémon began putting performances, one after the other.
The Trainer being amazed and awed as the Pokémon used their moves to put on dazzling spectacles for the crowd, along with combining moves together to create different and eye-catching displays.
'Oh…wow.' May thought, having not expected that Pokémon could do something like that.
"And now it's time for the final contestant of the Performance Stage. Let's hear it for Itachi Uchiha and his Honchkrow!" Declared the master of ceremonies, Vivian Meridian, if May heard correctly, the brunette being surprised at the name.
'Itachi? That's one of Naruto's adoptive brothers.' May thought, further curious and intrigued to see one of Naruto's adoptive brothers.
Only for May to feel her face heat up when Itachi came out onto the stage, along with hearing dozens of girls and women squealing when he did, and she could understand why.
Seeing Itachi was a young and fairly tall man, looking to be seventeen-to-eighteen-years-old, with fair skin, black eyes, long pronounced tear-troughs underneath them, and jet-black hair that was pulled back in a low ponytail and his face was framed with center-parted bangs that extended to his chin. With his attire consisting of black dress shoes, black dress pants, a buttoned up dark maroon shirt, a black suit with a single button done while the rest were undone, a black cape draped over his shoulders, and a black fedora. Along with him wearing a ring on his right ring finger with a multi-colored stone inside it.
'He is…' May thought, not expecting for Naruto's adoptive brother to be that handsome, looking even better in his current clothing, before she quickly shook her head.
'What am I doing?! That's Naruto's adoptive brother, and his older brother at that! And he's supposed to be in a relationship too!' Thought May, reminding herself that Itachi is Naruto's adoptive brother and, from Mikoto said when Naruto called, he also has a girlfriend.
With May just being grateful she didn't start squealing like several other females were doing, both in the crowd around her and in the audience.
"Take flight now, Honchkrow!" Itachi said, throwing a Pokéball and releasing his Pokémon.
Honchkrow is a dark-blue avian Pokémon with plumage resembling a person dressed in formal attire, one that most resembles a mob boss. It has a large feather crest resembling a fedora hat that has spikes extending from the back. It has circular red eyes with white sclerae and dark blue eyelids. Its yellow beak is slightly curved, and its head is supported by a broad, short neck. Honchkrow has a white and prominent crest of feathers on its chest that bears resemblance to a beard or cravat. Its wings have red feathers on the inside. Honchkrow has black feet with four toes. The tail's base is a white, cylindrical stalk, on which there is a growth of red feathers on the end.
'Honchkrow? Huh…they definitely look good together.' May thought, seeing how similar Itachi's attire looked to Honchkrow's appearance.
"Now, let's start off with Rain Dance!" Said Itachi, with Honchkrow flying up into the air and began flying around as if it was dancing, with dark clouds forming above the stage with rain soon starting to fall from them.
"Next use Thunder Wave and scatter it among the clouds!" Itachi said.
"Honch-krow!" Honchkrow immediately released rings of yellow electricity from her beak, shooting the rings up into different directions into the clouds, causing lightning to begin forming within them.
"Now Honchkrow…use Protect!" Itachi said after a few moments before calling out the move, with a green forcefield surrounding Honchkrow just as several streams of electricity began striking around her in a circular formation.
'That's amazing!' May thought shocked and amazed at the sight of Honchkrow within the forcefield and the electricity striking around her, with the electricity seeming to be drawn towards the shield before hitting and being absorbed into it.
"Oh my, what a sight! Itachi and his Honchkrow have not only created their own personal storm, but have put on a truly electrifying lightshow, with Honchkrow as the centerpiece!" Said Vivian, with the crowd and audience cheering and clapping at the performance.
"It's not over just yet. Use Ominous Wind and dispel the barrier and electricity!" Said Itachi, with Honchkrow rapidly flapping her wings, unleashing a powerful purple cyclone within the forcefield which soon began cracking, due to not being used to block attacks from within.
"And finally…use Defog to clear away the rain, and bring the light with Sunny Day!" Itachi said just as the lightning-infused barrier shattered.
"Honchkrow!" Honchkrow acted quickly with her wings being outlined in a light blue glow, flapping her wings releasing multiple light-blue crescent blasts into the clouds causing them into disperse before Honchkrow's body began releasing a bright and warm light as she flew towards the ground, landing right in front of Itachi with her wings spread out as the light shot up into the air, creating a miniature sun.
"Krow!" Honchkrow let out a cry before bowing her head with Itachi copying the pose and lowering his fedora over his face with green and yellow sparks, as well as blackish-purple wisps surrounded them, all while being made even beautiful from being illuminated by the sunlight shining down on them.
With May cheering and clapping along with the rest of the crowd and audience at such an amazing performance and display.
"And what a way to finish off the Performance Stage! It seems like Itachi and his Honchkrow have truly stolen the spotlight with their performance and dazzling display of lights! Now let's see what the judges have to say before seeing who will be moving onto the Battle Stage!" Vivian said, while May smiled in excitement to hear there was more, eager to see what else would be shown.
*With Naruto*
Meanwhile, Naruto had continued being taken through the Mauville Gym on the cart/door, which had gone much faster the longer it went on.
'When will this end?!' Naruto thought, wishing for the unexpected ride to end before he ended up falling off.
Only to be relieved when it finally stopped once it hit a flooded part of the maze, the sudden stop nearly throwing Naruto into the water if he hadn't been holding onto the railing.
"I really hope not all Gyms are this crazy!" Naruto exclaimed as the cart floated through the water before coming to a stop on the other side of the flooded part of the gym.
Stepping off of the cart, Naruto was relieved that nothing else suddenly popped up beneath him, allowing him to continue on foot. Unfortunately, the whiskered blonde didn't get far before he arrived at a door, which opened up and revealed a shocking sight.
It was a quadrupedal, yellow, tiger-like Pokémon with black stripes and a white underside. It has a thin, light blue tail with sharp angles and a spark-shaped formation at the end. Most of its face consists of thick, white fur and shorter yellow fur around its red eyes. Its muzzle is a light blue "X" and it has a black faceplate with two bumps that cover its forehead, nose, and ears. It has two long fangs that make its appearance similar to the saber-toothed cat. Its large claws each converge to form a single point and never retract. Extra fur hangs off its body in front of its thighs. And it has a mane across its back that resembles dull purple rain clouds.
"He has a Raikou?!" Naruto shouted in shock, not believing Wattson actually had a Raikou in his Gym, before panicking when the Raikou roared at him.
The Uzumaki yelped and quickly ducked down when the Raikou fired a blast of lightning right at him, with Zorua jumping out of his shadow at seeing the threat to his Trainer.
"Zor!" Zorua opened his mouth and launched multiple black and purple rings at Raikou, knocking the Legendary Pokémon back.
Before Zorua dived into his own shadow, which rushed across the ground behind Raikou, with the shadow rising up and rapidly striking Raikou sending it crashing against the wall. With the Spiteful Fox Pokémon emerging again, and swung his tail unleashing dozens of yellow stars at Raikou.
The Swift attack striking Raikou again, only for Naruto and Zorua to be surprised when the Raikou suddenly exploded before the smoke cleared away, revealing that the Raikou was just a robot.
"What? It…was just a robot?" Naruto said in surprise and confusion, not expecting the Raikou to be a robot.
"Zorua?" Zorua was also confused at the strange revelation, though still narrowed his eyes at the robot for nearly blasting his Trainer, pleased at having destroyed it.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Of course it's just a robot, my dear boy! And might I say that was great! Great!" Someone said as a hidden door opened up, getting Naruto's and Zorua's attention, seeing two people step out from a room.
With the first being a short, chubby old man with white hair that was standing up, a white beard, and a large smile on his face. While he was wearing a yellow jumpsuit, with pockets on his hips, a brown sweater with a thunder logo on his shoulders, and black shoes.
While the second was a young man with brown hair, fair skin, and black eyes covered by circular glasses. With him wearing black shoes, light grey pants, a turquoise turtleneck, and a tanned colored jacket with orange trimming.
"Uh…are…are you Wattson?" Naruto asked, figuring one of them had to be Wattson.
"Guilty, I'm Wattson, leader extraordinaire of the Mauville Gym and this is my assistant Watt, who's also the referee for battles here at the Gym! I must say, I never thought I'd see the day my Electro Raikou was turned into scrap metal!" Wattson said before laughing in amazement, only to look at Zorua with a curious expression.
"Though I have to admit, your Zorua seems rather aggressive, much more so than most Pokémon I've seen before." Stated Wattson, with Watt nodding in agreement.
"Yeah, it looks like it still wants to tear apart the Electro Raikou…and probably us too." Watt added nervously, seeing Zorua looked ready to attack them next, before Naruto went over to his Starter.
"Yeah, sorry about that. Zorua's just…he has a lot of aggression and malice that we're working on." Naruto replied, making Wattson frown in thought at this.
"Does it have any connection to Zorua's appearance?" Wattson asked, given how they've seen a few Zorua from Trainers that have come to the Gym, and none of them ever looked like this one.
"It does, and that's actually why I'm here. I was hoping you might be able to help us." Said Naruto, with the Gym Leader stroking his beard in thought.
"Hmm, well first how about you tell us what you can about your Zorua and I'll see what I can do to help you both." Wattson offered, Naruto nodding in response before he and Zorua followed Wattson and Watt through the Gym.
*Later*
Wattson and Watt had taken Naruto to the residential area of the Gym, with the Gym Leader and his assistant sitting down across from Naruto and Zorua, the latter having been given some Pokémon food. Where the Uzumaki had then told them everything he knew about Hisuian Zorua, along with how he met Zorua and what happened to cause him to become its Hisuian Regional Form.
"So, is there anything that you could do to help Zorua? Or anything I could do?" Naruto asked after he finished his explanation, looking at Wattson and Watt hopefully.
With the Mauville Gym Leader taking a few moments to ponder and think over all the information they'd been told. Before giving Zorua side-glance, the Normal/Ghost-type not seeming to be interested in the conversation and simply continued to eat the Pokémon food. Though Wattson could tell Zorua was actually paying attention, but feigning disinterest.
"Hmmm, truthfully Naruto, what you're planning is no easy feat, especially for a beginner Trainer. Even seasoned veterans have trouble in training and raising an aggressive Pokémon from time-to-time. This seems like an even more difficult task, as from what you've told us, Hisuian Zorua are only born because of their malice and hatred for people and Pokémon. Or at least the first generation of them, while it's probably more a result of instinct and upbringing for later generations. I'd say it's actually an impossible task, if it wasn't for how I saw how quick Zorua was to protect you, despite his brutality, and what you told me of how you helped him. I believe that you may actually be able to pull it off." Wattson said, smiling at the whiskered blonde, which Naruto returned, glad that Wattson believed he could help Zorua.
"Now as for what you can do, simply continue showing Zorua kindness and understanding, take things slow with having him interact with new people, but from a distance until he begins opening up more with others to avoid having Zorua lash out. The same with any Pokémon you catch, but also encourage them to be around Zorua whenever you can, only separating them if it seems like he's getting overwhelmed. As well as maybe looking into meditation to help Zorua learn to properly control and harness it, since it'll always be a part of him. It'll be a slow process though, but patience is important when dealing with such Pokémon. But I'm sure this will also be incredibly useful in helping curb Zorua's aggressive nature." Wattson explained before pulling out a Pokéball and handed it to Naruto.
"What kind of Pokéball is this?" Asked Naruto upon seeing that the Pokéball was mainly black with a gold ring around the middle, a red ring near the top that was outlined in gold.
"It's called a Luxury Ball. They're special Pokéballs used to help increase a Pokémons friendship with their Trainer, as well as helping to curb any negative feelings they may have. Making it a perfect Pokéball to keep your Zorua in." Replied Wattson, surprising the Uzumaki while knowing how useful such a Pokéball could be, before he looked at Zorua,
"What do you think, Zorua? Want to give your new Pokéball a try?" Naruto said, with Zorua going over and looked at the Luxury Ball for a few moments.
"Zor." Zorua nodded in response, if the Luxury Ball could help him and his Trainer.
Seeing this, Naruto pulled out the Pokéball he initially caught Zorua in, before transferring his Starter to the Luxury Ball. Once that was done, Naruto returned Zorua to the Luxury Ball for a few moments to test it out, before letting the Spiteful Fox Pokémon out. Only to be surprised when Zorua reappeared smiling dreamily with his eyes closed.
"Zor! Zorua-Zor-Zor-Zorua-rua-Zor-Zorua-Zor-Zorua!" Zorua moved around acting like nothing was wrong at all, before suddenly blinking in confusion and shaking his head.
"Zorua?" Zorua looked around, not sure what just happened before turning to Naruto.
"I'm guessing that you do like the new Pokéball." Naruto stated with a smile, seeing the Luxury Ball would be a big help in curbing Zorua's malice and aggression.
"Zor!" Zorua nodded in response, now remembering the blissful and warm feeling that he felt after being released from the Luxury Ball.
The sight making Naruto smile as he returned Zorua to the Luxury Ball and stood up.
"Thanks for your help Wattson, both the advice and the Luxury Ball, it'll definitely be a big help in getting Zorua's aggression and malice under control." Naruto said, which Wattson waved off with a smile.
"Nonsense, I'm happy that I could help you both. And here's one last piece of advice, I'd recommend your next destination is Lavaridge Town to challenge the Lavaridge Gym Leader. The previous Lavaridge Gym Leader has recently retired and a new Gym Leader has taken his place. So it would be a good place for a fresh Trainer to get their first Gym Badge, along with helping the new Gym Leader getting settled into the position." Wattson replied, with Naruto nodding in response.
"Yeah, that sounds like the perfect place to visit next. Thanks again Wattson, and I'll be sure to visit again when I plan to get the Mauville Gym Badge next." Said Naruto, making the Gym Leader laugh and shake his hand.
"AHAHAHAHAHA! I'll look forward to the day you return and we can have ourselves a battle!" Said Wattson, believing the whiskered Trainer will have grown much stronger the next time he enters the Gyms.
*With May*
'That was incredible!' May thought as she'd watched the rest of the Pokémon Contest with the Battle Stage, which Itachi had succeeded in moving onto.
Watching as the contestants not only battled each other, but still had their Pokémon show off their style and skill to lower their opponents points. With it soon coming down to Itachi and Honchkrow against another Coordinator named Robert and his Claydol. With Itachi having managed to come out as the winner in the end.
"And there you have it, folks! The winner of the Sootopolis Pokémon Contest, Itachi Uchiha and Honchkrow!" Declared Vivian, with the audience cheering while Itachi and Robert both shook hands, both of them being happy at such a challenging battle.
While the crowd soon began dispersing around May after Itachi was present his Ribbon, the brunette still hearing them talk about the amazing Contest. With May soon leaving once it ended, before finding a bench to sit down on.
"Wow…I didn't think that there'd be more than just challenging Gym Leaders and battling other Trainers. Those Contests look really fun and I'd love to get such a pretty Ribbon for winning one!" May said with a smile.
"Torchic!" Torchic couldn't help but nod in agreement with her Trainer, imagining performing on stage in front of an audience and winning a Ribbon in the end.
Only to see May then slump forward with a depressed aura around her.
"Oh man! That's just another thing I have to decide on! Now I'm even more unsure of what I want to do on my Journey!" Said May, feeling even more torn on what she wanted to do on her Pokémon Journey now that she knew about Pokémon Contests as well.
"Torchic." Torchic went up and tapped May's leg with her foot getting the brunettes attention.
"Huh, what is it Torchic?" May asked, looking at her Starter.
"Torchic! Torchic-Tor-Tor-chic-Torchic-Torchic-chic-Tor-Torchic-Torchic-Tor-chic-Torchic!" Torchic looked up at her Trainer before gaining a determined expression and looked ready to battle.
Before suddenly spinning around and flipping through the air, posing once she landed, before the Chick Pokémon began walking in place, until Torchic stopped and looked at the brunette. With May looking at her in confusion for a few moments, before realizing what Torchic seemed to be trying to tell her.
"I…think I understand. That whether I choose to just travel, battle in the Pokémon League, or become a Coordinator, I'm not really in a rush to decide on what I want to do. I did just start my Journey, but that doesn't mean I have to decide on what to do, right now. I'll have plenty of time to decide." Said May, with Torchic nodding in response, glad her Trainer understood what she was trying to say.
"Thanks Torchic, that really helped. And you're right, we still plenty of time to decide what we want to do, so for now let's just enjoy ourselves." May said with a smile before standing up so they could finish their shopping.
*Later*
It didn't take long before May and Torchic had finished with their shopping before making their way back to the Pokémon Center, with them running into Naruto on the way there.
"Naruto! Did you go to the Gym?" May asked while smiling at the whiskered blonde, with Naruto nodding in response.
"Yeah I did. Though I didn't challenge it, but I did talk with Wattson and he was able to give me some tips on helping with Zorua's aggression and malice." Replied Naruto, making May's smile grow and nod at this.
"That's good, even if you didn't challenge Wattson, at least you got something out of seeing him. Though where is Zorua anyway? Is he hiding in your shadow again?" Asked May upon not seeing Zorua anywhere.
"No, that's one of the things that Wattson helped me with. Zorua's in here, now." Naruto said, pulling out the Luxury Ball, surprising the brunette at the different Pokéball.
"What kind of Pokéball is that?" May said, while admitting it looked really pretty.
"It's called a Luxury Ball, it's supposed to increase a Pokémon's friendship with their Trainer much more quickly, along with helping to curb any negative feelings they might have. I'm keeping Zorua in it for the time being, since he really likes it, and it should help with his malice and aggression." Replied Naruto, surprising May at what the Pokéball could do, before smiling.
"That's great! I'm sure it'll definitely be a big help in getting Zorua used to being around other people and Pokémon." May stated, with Naruto nodding in agreement as they soon arrived back at the Pokémon Center.
"Ah! Naruto, May, I'm glad to see you both back. I've actually received a package for you May." Said Nurse Joy, smiling at the two Trainers before handing May a wrapped package.
"A package? Oh, this must be what my parents were sending me." Said May, remembering her parents saying that they were sending her something that'd help her on her Journey.
"What is it?" Naruto asked, curious of what May's parents sent her, with the brunette opening the package showing a compacted dull yellow disc-shaped device with a large blue button in the center of it.
"Hey, it's a PokéNav!" May said in surprise before smiling as she pressed the button, causing the PokéNav to open up showing a small screen that displayed a map of Hoenn.
"Oh yeah, I've heard about those. They're supposed help you navigate where you're going, showing you different places and locations you could come across, as well as a few other features that'll be useful to have." Said Naruto, with May nodding in response.
"Yeah, my little brother Max always wanted one. It'll definitely be useful to help show us where we're going." Said May, with Naruto nodding in agreement, knowing it'll really help them on their Journey.
The two then headed up to their room for the night, tired but also satisfied with what they had done for the day.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we see Naruto going to the Mauville Gym to meet with Wattson and see if he could help him with Zorua's malice and aggression, only to discover the maze-like Gym once he goes inside. Then we see May getting some shopping done along with contemplating what she wants to do on her Pokmon Journey, before noticing a broadcast of a Pokmon Contest, one which Itachi himself is in with his Honchkrow (along with being in possession of a special stone), much to May's amazement at the performance they put on. Before we go back to Naruto encountering the robot Raikou which Zorua destroys after it attacks Naruto, leading to them meeting Wattson and Watt, telling them about Zorua and his malice, with Wattson giving Naruto some advice as well as a Luxury Ball to keep Zorua in to boost their friendship and curb Zorua's aggressive nature, along with telling Naruto he should head to the Lavaridge Gym to get his first Badge. Then back with May the Contest ends with Itachi coming out the winner against Robert and his Claydol, with May now feeling even more unsure on what she wants to do before getting some reassurance from Torchic that she has plenty of time to decide what she wants to do on her Journey. Finally we see her and Naruto meet up and return to the Pokmon Center where May received a package from her parents, revealed to be a PokéNav which will certainly be helpful for them, before they turn in for the night. So, for those that like the story, thanks for your support. For those that don't or at least don't like the direction taken, you're more than welcomed to drop the story. But thanks for giving the story a chance anyway.
