Hello all Storm here with a new chapter! We'll be continuing where the last chapter left off as Naruto and May continue exploring the Mirage Tower, while finding it's much more dangerous than they thought. So, without further ado.

Both Trainers were relieved to not encounter anymore disappearing people, but were still feeling tense and wary, wondering just what this place was. Though they didn't have time to think on it, having to still focus on avoiding the traps Zorua couldn't disable.
Unfortunately, it wasn't long before they started feeling the ground start shifting underneath them, making them tense that they might've triggered another trap. Only to cry out when the ground suddenly collapsed underneath, revealing a sinkhole. With Naruto and May just barely managing to grab hold of the ledge before falling in, while Zorua floated in the air and grabbed Torchic with his wisp of fur.
"Are you kidding me?! Was this made by another Pokémon?!" May yelled in frustration that they fell into another hole.
"Who cares, we just need to get back up!" Said Naruto, May nodding in agreement before they pulled out their Pokéballs, returning Zorua and Torchic so they wouldn't fall into the sinkhole.
"Trapinch, come out!" Naruto said, releasing Trapinch.
"Trapinch? Trapinch!" Trapinch looked around before seeing his Trainer and his friend dangling over a sinkhole.
"Trapinch, think you can use Sand Tomb to pull us up?" Naruto asked, the Ant Pit Pokémon nodding in response.
"Trapinch!" Trapinch created a tornado of sand around Naruto and May, grunting as he concentrated before slowly lifting them up, allowing both Trainers to pull themselves back up.
"Thanks Trapinch, you really saved us there." Said Naruto in relief they didn't get stuck in the sinkhole.
"Yeah, thanks. But seriously, where did this come from? It doesn't really look like a trap, at least not like the ones we saw before." May said, looking down into the sinkhole, not seeing anything that'd seriously injure or kill them.
Only for them to see something emerge from the ground, seeing what looked like a three-headed Pokémon with all the heads being identical with brown skin, black eyes, and large, round pink noses.
"Trio." The Pokémon looked up at Naruto and May, narrowing its eyes at them.
"A Dugtrio?" Naruto said in confusion.
"Dugtrio?" Questioned May, looking at the Uzumaki, who nodded in response before they pulled out their Pokédexes and scanned Dugtrio.
"Dugtrio, the Mole Pokémon and the evolved form of Diglett. Formed when three Diglett combine. This Pokémon is able to tunnel deep beneath the earth's surface."
"Are you the one that dug this hole?!" May demanded, narrowing her eyes at the Dugtrio before she and Naruto heard someone laughing.
"HA! Look at that, they must be really smart if they realized a Ground-type dug that hole!" Someone said tauntingly, with Naruto and May quickly turned around, seeing three teenagers, two boys and a girl, standing behind them.
The first boy had bandages covering most of his face, leaving only his left eye and eyebrow uncovered. He wore a large poncho with long sleeves, a snake patterned scarf around his neck, a straw raincoat protruding from the back of his scarf, snake patterned pants, and black sandals.
The second boy spiky, black hair and dark eyes. He wore a beige shirt with two black stripes and three prints of the kanji for death down the front, a black belt around his waist, a snake patterned scarf and matching pants, and black sandals.
And the girl had fair skin, black eyes with very long black hair, almost reaching down to the ground, tied by a violet ribbon right near the end. With her wearing a pale green vest, black armbands, snake patterned pants with a snake patterned skirt over it, a snake patterned scarf, and black sandals.
"Maybe that'll mean they'll actually be a challenge or at least give us some entertainment." Said the girl with a mocking smirk, with the second boy laughing and the first merely looking at Naruto and May, making them feel uneasy.
"Who…who are you three?" Naruto asked warily at who these three were, getting a bad feeling from them.
"I am Dosu Kinuta, these are my comrades, Zaku Abumi and Kin Tsuchi. The three of us are Pokémon Trainers as well." Dosu introduced, causing Naruto and May to glance down at Dugtrio, wondering if he belonged to one of these three.
"O…kay. I'm May and this is Naruto. Did you three…come here to get out of the storm too?" Questioned May, only for the three to laugh tauntingly at them, only setting them further on edge.
"You trash really don't know what this place is?! So much for being smart if you were stupid enough to come in here!" Sneered Zaku, making Naruto and May frown at the insults.
"What're you talking about?!" Naruto said.
"This is place is called the Mirage Tower, it's called that because of how it disappears and reappears at random times. One minute you could be looking at it before looking away, but when you look back it's gone, just like a mirage. You could even stand in the exact spot where it was and find no trace it even existed." Revealed Kin, shocking the two Trainers at what this tower actually was.
"How…how is that possible?" May asked, wondering how a tower could just appear and disappear randomly.
"Isn't it obvious? The ones who built this tower messed with things they shouldn't have and paid the price for it. Because anyone that's within the tower when it vanishes becomes trapped inside it, forever!" Dosu said, Naruto and May paling at hearing this.
"Then we need to get out here! We know where the exit is, let's go!" Said Naruto, not wanting to end up trapped inside the tower forever, especially since they had no idea when it could disappear.
Only to tense when the trio laughed wickedly and smirked at them.
"You don't get do you? We're already trapped inside, we can't leave! And if we can't leave, then no one else gets to either, including you, trash!" Zaku said wickedly, with the whiskered blonde and brunette looking at them in shock.
"Yeah well, thanks for the invitation and sorry that happened to you three, but neither of us are interested in getting stuck here!" May retorted with Naruto nodding in agreement, having no intentions of getting stuck here.
"You're under the impression we'll let you escape. Dugtrio, Tri Attack now!" Dosu ordered.
"Dugtrio!" Dugtrio suddenly emerged from the ground right in front of Dosu, before he began spinning around rapidly creating an orb electricity, an orb of ice, and an orb of fire before launching all three orbs at Naruto, May, and Trapinch much to their shock.
"Trapinch dodge it and use Mud-Slap!" Naruto said as he and May jumped out of the way of the attack, Trapinch doing the same.
"Tra-pinch-pinch-pinch-pinch-Trapinch!" Trapinch immediately fired multiple mudballs at Dugtrio.
"Burrow underground and dodge, Dugtrio!" Said Dosu, with Dugtrio doing so, avoiding the mudballs.
"Blast that bug with Hyper Voice, Loudred!" Zaku said before Trapinch was suddenly hit by a loud cry, accompanied by a beam of air and blue circles.
"Pinch!" Trapinch let out a cry as he was sent crashing into a wall by the attack.
"Trapinch!" Naruto said in worry before looking to see Zaku and Kin had let out their own Pokémon, recognizing them as a Loudred and a Chatot.
Loudred is a purple, bipedal Pokémon with a square build. It has a large mouth with yellow lips and peg-like teeth in each corner. Above its prominent mouth is a stubby nose. On top of its head are two short stalks that support its circular ears. The inside of its ears have alternating black and purple rings, but there is only a single black ring on the back.
Chatot is an avian Pokémon similar to a parakeet. Its head is black and resembles an eighth note, while its black tail resembles a metronome. Its plumage is brightly colored with blue wings, a yellow chest and feet, a green stomach, and a pink, hooked beak and eyelids. Additionally, there is a ruff of white feathers around its neck.
"That was a dirty trick! Naruto's already battling your friend!" May said, glaring at Zaku for attacking Trapinch even when he's already battling Dugtrio, only for the trio to scoff.
"Who cares! The only thing important is winning and making sure you both suffer like we have!" Retorted Zaku, not caring about cheating or using dirty tricks, as long as it meant he would win in the end.
"And if you think that was dirty, then you'll really hate this! Chatot use Aerial Ace, on them!" Kin said, pointing at Naruto and May, much to their shock.
"Chatot!" Chatot immediately dived towards the two Trainers with streaks of white energy around her body, forcing Naruto and May to get out of the way to avoid being hit.
"Now Dugtrio, use Sludge Bomb on Trapinch!" Said Dosu, Dugtrio reappearing from underground globs of brown sludge at Trapinch.
"Trapinch!" Trapinch grunted as he was hit by the sludge before being thrown back against the wall again.
"Trapinch!" Said Naruto, looking at his Pokémon, before glaring at the three Trainers.
"Alright fine! If you want a battle, you'll get one! Zorua, let's take them down!" Naruto said, releasing Zorua again.
"You too Torchic, show 'em what you can do!" Said May, letting Torchic out as well.
"Zorua!" Zorua narrowed his eyes at the three Trainers, sensing the darkness in them along with how Naruto was glaring at them, knowing he'll be able to go all out against them.
"Torchic!" Torchic also glare at the trio, seeing the state Trapinch was in and it seemed they even tried attacking her Trainer and her friend.
"Whatever, send out all the weak trash you want! It'll just be more time wasted and getting closer to the tower vanishing, taking you along with it!" Zaku said wickedly, with Naruto and May frowning, knowing he was right and they'd need to get out of here quickly.
"Then that just means we'll need to beat you assholes quickly! Trapinch use Dig, and Zorua use Swift on Dugtrio!" Said Naruto, with Trapinch quickly digging underground while Zorua jumped into the air.
"Zor-ua-Zorua!" Zorua swung his fur wisp at Dugtrio, unleashing dozens of yellow stars at the Mole Pokémon.
"That won't work, Dugtrio burrow underground and dodge again!" Dosu said, with Dugtrio about to do so, only for the stars to zero in on him and slam into Dugtrio.
"Trio!" Dugtrio cried out as the stars hit him.
"Chatot use Round on that furball!" Said Kin pointing at Zorua.
"Chat-ot-ot-ot-ot-ot-Chatot!" Chatot let out a high-pitched note, releasing multiple green, red, and blue sound waves from her mouth at Zorua.
With Naruto smirking at the sight, letting the attack hit Zorua, only for Kin to be shocked when nothing happened.
"What?! It's a Ghost-type!" Kin said, knowing only Ghost-types would be immune to Normal-type attacks.
"That's right, but that's not all Zorua can do." Said Naruto, making Kin scowl.
"But here's some fire for you! Torchic, use Ember on Chatot!" May said, with Torchic jumping up into the air.
"Chic! Torchic-chic-chic-chic-chic-chic!" Torchic released multiple fireballs at Chatot.
"Dodge them Chatot and use Steel Wing!" Said Kin as the Music Note Pokémon began flying around the fireballs, with her wings glowing white before diving towards Torchic.
"Trapinch, come out and attack Chatot, then use Bite!" Said Naruto once Chatot was closer to the ground.
"Tra-pinch!" Trapinch burst out from the ground and prepared to slam into Chatot, then bite down on her.
"Not so fast, trash! Use Screech on all of them, Loudred!" Ordered Zaku, with Loudred sucking in a large amount of air.
"Lou-dred!" Loudred then unleashing a loud shriek, causing Zorua, Trapinch, and Torchic to flinch at the volume.
"Chatot!" Chatot took the opportunity to slam into Torchic, sending the Chick Pokémon crashing into the wall, Torchic crying out as she hit the wall.
"Torchic!" Said May in worry for her Starter.
"You should be more worried for yourselves! Dugtrio, use Sand Tomb on those brats!" Dosu said, Dugtrio burrowing underground again before remerging near Naruto and May.
"Trio!" Dugtrio's three heads began moving up and down, causing the ground to shake before collapsing and being pulled towards it, with Naruto and May losing their balance.
"Trapinch, use Bite on Dugtrio quickly!" Said Naruto as he and May struggled to escape the sand trap.
"Pinch!" Trapinch instantly launched himself at Dugtrio, opening his mouth to bite down on it.
"Not happening Trash! Loudred use Disarming Voice on the bug!" Zaku said, Loudred releasing a loud shrieking cry accompanying by purple music notes at Trapinch.
"Torchic, stop the attack with Ember!" Said May, with Torchic nodding before firing more fireballs at the attack, causing it to suddenly explode creating a cloud of smoke.
"Now use Peck on Loudred!" May added, causing Torchic to leap through the smoke.
"Tor-chic-chic-chic-chic-chic!" Torchic managed to land on Loudred and began rapidly pecking him, making the Big Voice Pokémon try throwing her off.
"Trapinch!" Trapinch also succeeded in biting down on top of Dugtrio's head.
"Chatot use Hyper Voice on the chicken!" Kin said pointing at Torchic.
"Tot!" Chatot let out a loud, echoing cry and beam of blue rings at Torchic.
"Zorua stop the attack with Snarl!" Naruto said, with Zorua jumping in front of the attack.
"Zorua!" Zorua then let out a snarl, firing black and purple energy rings that collided against Chatot's Disarming Voice, causing both attacks to explode, making Kin scowl only to soon smirk.
"Well if you don't like that song, maybe you'll like this one! Chatot use Sing!" Said Kin, with Chatot flying around and began singing a lullaby, causing Zorua, Trapinch, and Torchic to start growing drowsy before falling to the ground asleep.
"HA! Let's see you dodge now trash! Loudred use Stomp on the chicken then use Circle Throw!" Zaku said, smirking wickedly.
"Dred!" Loudred threw Torchic off his head before jumping up and stomping down on the sleeping Chick Pokémon.
Before he picked Torchic up before throwing her over his head, sending Torchic crashing into the wall with a kick.
"Torchic!" May said in worry and fear for her Pokémon.
"Now you're turn Dugtrio, use Bulldoze!" Dosu ordered, causing Dugtrio to start shaking which in turn made the ground start shaking.
"Dug-trio!" Dugtrio then released a shockwave through the ground, sending Trapinch and Zorua flying back.
"And you use Aerial Ace on the both of them, Chatot!" Said Kin, with Chatot instantly speeding through the air with white streaks of energy around her, slamming into both Zorua and Trapinch, sending them crash back into the ground.
"Zorua! Trapinch!" Naruto shouted at seeing his Pokémon be hit like that.
Before he and May quickly pulled out three Awakenings, throwing them at their Pokémon. While it's normally frowned on to use items in battle, with the exception of Held Items. Given the current situation, neither of them really cared for following rules or being fair.
With the Awakenings splashing over Zorua, Trapinch, and Torchic, waking them up before they winced as they stood up, feeling the damage they just took.
"Oh, you don't like my lullaby, then how about Attract!" Kin said with a smirk, with Chatot flying in close to the three Pokémon.
"Cha-tot!" Chatot covered her face with her wing before partially revealing it and winking at Zorua, Trapinch and Torchic, sending pink hearts flying at them with the hearts that hit Zorua and Trapinch causing hearts to appear in their eyes.
"Zor!"
"Tra!"
Zorua and Trapinch looked at Chatot with love-struck expression, while Torchic glared at the Music Note Pokémon, unaffected by Attract.
"That won't work on Torchic! Now use Ember!" May said, knowing she'd need to take out Chatot to snap Zorua and Trapinch back to their senses.
"Torchic!" Torchic eagerly charged at Chatot, unleashing multiple fireballs at her.
"No, but this will! Use Earth Power Dugtrio!" Dosu ordered, with Dugtrio's body being surrounded by golden energy.
"Trio! Dugtrio's body began vibrating, creating glowing cracks that rushed towards Torchic before the ground exploded upwards underneath her, sending Torchic flying into the air.
"And so will this! Loudred blow that chicken away with Uproar!" Zaku said, smirking eagerly to blast Torchic.
"Loudred!" Loudred began stomping around before unleashing a loud yell and blue soundwaves towards Torchic
"Torchic!" May yelled, not sure how much more Torchic could take before she faints.
"Go Ralts! Use Confusion to get Torchic out of the way!" Said Naruto releasing Ralts, knowing they'd need her help.
Having wanted to avoid sending Ralts out in case Dosu, Zaku, and Kin would also send out even more Pokémon. But with Zorua and Trapinch under the effect of Chatot's Attract, then the Uzumaki had to risk it and send Ralts to help Torchic.
Ralts appeared with her eyes glowing blue, with Torchic being surrounded by a blue outline and pulled out of the way of Loudred's attack. The sight making May's eyes widened before seeing where Chatot was and got an idea.
"Now throw Torchic high into the air!" May said, making Naruto look at her only for the brunette to nod at him.
"Do it Ralts!" Said Naruto, figuring May had a plan.
"Ralts!" Ralts nodded before launching Torchic up into the air and released her hold on her.
"Okay Torchic, now dive down and use Peck on Chatot!" Said May, causing Torchic to spot where Chatot was and instantly divebombed her.
"Thanks for the free target! Chatot use Hyper Voice!" Kin said while smirking, as Chatot prepared to hit Torchic once she was close enough.
"How about a taste of your own medicine! Ralts use Growl on all of them and then use Disarming Voice on Chatot!" Said Naruto, with Ralts letting out a loud, piercing cry that caused Dugtrio, Loudred, and Chatot to flinch as their attack went down.
Before Ralts let out another shriek and beam of purple hearts towards the Music Note Pokémon, which slammed into Chatot while she was disoriented from the Growl. Which also gave Torchic the opening to slam right into Chatot.
"Torchic! Chic-chic-chic-chic-chic-chic-Torchic!" Torchic began rapidly pecking Chatot as they fell back to the ground, before giving a final peck that sent Chatot crashing into the ground.
"Ch-Ch-Cha-Chatot…" Chatot tried getting up only to collapse to the ground with swirls in her eyes.
"Chatot!" Kin shouted before glaring at Naruto and May.
"Yes!" May cheered, relieved they were able to take out one of their Pokémon.
"Zorua, Trapinch!" Said Naruto, looking at his other two Pokémon, the Spiteful Fox and Ant Pit Pokémon snapping out of their love-induced state.
"Zorua." Zorua shook his head before narrowing his eyes at the three Trainers, now even more angry at the attack they used on him.
"Trapinch!" Trapinch narrowed his eyes as well, refusing to let them try anymore tricks like that again.
"So what?! You think you can beat us with numbers! Kin's the weakest of us, anyway!" Zaku said with a smirk.
"Hey! Says the asshole, who's never even beaten me in a battle!" Retorted Kin, glaring at Zaku for the insult.
"Enough, both of you! You can have your petty squabbles later, after we deal with these two! Dugtrio, use Sandstorm!" Said Dosu, refusing to let his teammates bickering stop them from trapping Naruto and May in the tower with them.
"Dugtrio-tri-trio!" Dugtrio let out a loud cry as it unleashed a sandstorm from his body, blinding everyone while damaging Zorua, Ralts, and Torchic.
"Torchic, keep using Ember in their direction!" May said while covering her face to try and keep the sand out of her eyes.
"Torchic!" Torchic nodded before rapidly shooting fireballs where Dugtrio and Loudred were.
"You do the same with Mud-Slap, Trapinch!" Said Naruto, knowing the best they could do is just try to hit them.
"Pinch!" Trapinch opened his mouth and launching mudballs into the sandstorm to try and hit the Mole and Big Voice Pokémon.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! You trash aim as well as you battle! Loudred, knock them down with Screech!" Zaku yelled, before Naruto, May, and their Pokémon all flinched at the loud shriek that came from the sandstorm, lowering the four Pokémon's defense.
"And let's finish them with Ancient Power Dugtrio!" Dosu said.
"Trio!" Dugtrio created three silver balls of energy before firing them through the sandstorm towards Zorua, Trapinch, Ralts, and Torchic.
"Ralts use Confusion on the rubble to block the attack!" Said Naruto, with Ralts nodding before grabbing several pieces of rubble and moved them in front of her and the others.
Doing it just in time as the orbs slammed into the makeshift shield, destroying it, but keeping them safe from being hit.
"Trapinch use Dig and Bite on Loudred, but wait for my signal! And Zorua use Swift on Dugtrio and Loudred!" Said Naruto, as he started getting an idea of how they could get away from them, knowing they couldn't afford wasting anymore time trying to actually win the battle.
"Trapinch!" Trapinch nodded before digging underground and making his way towards Loudred.
"Zor-ua-ua-ua-ua-Zorua!" Zorua swung his wisp of fur, releasing dozens of stars into the sandstorm that locked onto Loudred and Dugtrio, slamming into them.
With this also breaking Dugtrio's concentration, causing the sandstorm to subside, letting everyone see clearly again.
"It's funny how you and your friends keep mocking us, when it's clear you haven't battled in a while. If all it took was a simply Swift attack to make Dugtrio lose its concentration." Naruto said mockingly, causing Dosu and Dugtrio to glare at him.
"Torchic use Growl on them!" May said, causing Torchic to let out a loud, piercing cry, making Loudred and Dugtrio flinch as their attack went down.
"And it's your turn Zorua, use Shadow Sneak on Dugtrio!" Naruto said, with Zorua sinking into his shadow which sped towards Dugtrio.
"Zorua!" Zorua then rose up and repeatedly struck Dugtrio, the Mole Pokémon crying out at the attacks.
"Use Night Slash Dugtrio!" Ordered Dosu, causing Dugtrio to narrow his eyes before being surrounded with dark energy.
"Dug-trio!" Dugtrio then suddenly slammed all three of his heads into Zorua.
"Zor!" Zorua grunted as he was sent crashing into the wall from the attack, taking more damage than expected.
"HA! Now let's finish them off! Use Disarming Voice on all the copies, Loudred, until you hit the real runt!" Zaku said, with Loudred opening his mouth to unleash his attack.
"Now Trapinch!" Naruto yelled, causing Trapinch to shoot out of the ground.
"Tra-pinch!" Trapinch slammed into Loudred before biting down on the top of his head.
"GAH! You stupid bug, Loudred throw that thing off and squash it!" Shouted Zaku while scowling as Loudred tried and failed to remove Trapinch.
"Dugtrio use Sludge Bomb on Trapinch!" Dosu ordered, Dugtrio firing several globs of brown sludge at Trapinch.
"Torchic use Ember to stop the attack!" May said.
"Torchic!" Torchic unleashed several fireballs at the globs, destroying them before they could reach Trapinch.
"Use Hypnosis on Dugtrio, Ralts!" Said Naruto, seeing his chance to keep Dugtrio from moving.
"Ralts!" Ralts looked at Dugtrio before light blue silhouettes of her eyes shot out and hit him, forcing Dugtrio to fall asleep.
"Now Trapinch, let go and use Mud-Slap!" Naruto said, with Trapinch releasing his bite on Loudred, and landed in front of him.
"Pinch!" Trapinch then fired a mudball right into Loudred's face, pushing him back and blinding him.
"AH! That's it, I'm gonna blow you all away! Loudred use Uproar and destroy all of this trash!" Zaku shouted.
"Lou-dred!" Loudred began stomping around before unleashing blue soundwaves from his mouth at Trapinch, with the stomping and shouting also snapping Dugtrio awake.
"Wait Zaku, don't-" Dosu said, his eyes widening at realizing where Trapinch was standing, only for it to be too late.
"Dodge it with Dig, Trapinch!" Said Naruto, with Trapinch quickly burrowing underground and out of the way, causing Loudred's Uproar to crash right into Dugtrio.
"Dugtrio!" Dugtrio let out a loud cry as the attack slamming into him.
"You fool! Look at what you've done!" Yelled Dosu, glaring at Zaku for attacking his Pokémon.
"You shouldn't have gotten in the way!" Zaku retorted glaring at the bandaged teen.
"How about all of you get out of our way! Trapinch, let's see how they like being trapped in a pit! Use Sand Tomb and send them into the sinkhole!" Naruto said, knowing they had their chance to trap them and get away.
"Tra-pinch!" Trapinch let out a cry before he created a large antlion trap underneath Dosu, Zaku, Kin, and their Pokémon.
The three teens crying out as they fell in, unable to stop themselves from falling into the sinkhole like the one Dugtrio created.
"Pinch!" Trapinch emerged from the ground, pleased at seeing their enemies now stuck in their own trap.
"Come on, let's go!" Naruto said to May and their Pokémon, seeing their chance to escape, the brunette nodding as they all took off running.
"Wait! Shouldn't we be going-" Said May, realizing they were going further into the tower rather than back towards the exit.
Though when she looked back at the way they came, May saw that their battle had ended up causing the path to collapse in on itself, leaving them unable to backtrack to the exit.
"No way to get through there and no time to waste trying to clear it out!" Naruto said as they all ran into the tower.
"Should we return our Pokémon?!" May asked, wondering if it'd be safer if it was just them.
"No, we still need Zorua to sense and disable traps! Torchic helps us see where we're going! Trapinch can help Zorua locate and disable traps, along with making sure no one else here can use the ground underneath our feet against us! And if there are any more people trapped in this tower that want to keep us here, then Ralts will be able to sense their emotions!" Replied Naruto, making the brunette frown but nod.
Before they continued running, knowing they needed to find another way out of the tower and fast before it was too late.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we see Naruto and May continuing to explore the tower, only to soon fall into another trap, one that's different than the rest as it was made by a Dugtrio. With it being revealed to belong to Dosu, as he, Zaku, and Kin appear, putting Naruto and May on edge as to why they attacked them. Only to learn the tru nature of the Mirage Tower, how it appears and disappears randomly, before being horrified to learn that anyone who stays inside when the tower vanishes will be trapped forever. With Dosu, Zaku, and Kin intending to stop them from leaving so they'll be trapped inside with them as well.
Leading into a battle between them, with Naruto and May sending out Zorua, Trapinch, and Torchic to battle Dugtrio, Loudred, and Chatot. With Chatot proving to be difficult when she uses Sing and Attract, putting their Pokémon to sleep and stopping Zorua and Trapinch from fight. Naruto and May being able to wake up their Pokémon with Awakenings, before Naruto also send out Ralts to help take out Chatot, snapping Zorua and Trapinch out of their love-induced states.
Finally we see Naruto and May manage to trap the trio in their own sinkhole trap before making their escape to find an exit, knowing they needed to get out of the tower before it's too late. So, for those that like the story, thanks for your support. For those that don't or at least don't like the direction taken, you're more than welcomed to drop the story. But thanks for giving the story a chance anyway.
